DOK 10 in Rotterdam Centrum

At 6:30 PM (half an hour before closing time), there was practically nothing edible left. The woman behind the counter has turned disinterest into an art. She makes every effort to ignore customers who have just come to visit someone sick and think they can grab a bite here. Her attitude exudes "don't even think of asking me for anything." It's a shame, because the interior of this place is quite okay. You'd be better off getting a pre-packaged sandwich at the Albert Heijn to go two doors down.

Actually, one star is already too many... bizarre, because the biggest problem was a very unfriendly woman behind the counter. And to think that people come here to relax after a hospital stay, visiting family, or even with someone who is in the hospital. The woman forgot half our order, and after we kindly pointed this out to her, her tone became unpleasant. Just as we were sitting down, she shouted across the restaurant at every table that she was closing. A few minutes later, she repeatedly threatened: "One more minute," while waving her fingers as if she were reprimanding her children. To a table that kept sifting through because they hadn't heard, she shouted: "Didn't you hear or something?" Jeez. Even though she hadn't closed yet, we absolutely couldn't bring a cappuccino for a patient. How dare we ask? She had triumphantly closed the doors to emphasize her point. So when more people asked which door they could leave through, she shouted a bunch of angry things again. This person doesn't belong in a restaurant located in a hospital where vulnerable people come who just need that little bit of relaxation and a pleasant atmosphere.

The food is cold and expensive. If you raise a concern, the staff reacts as if they don't care.

The food was cold, lacking variety, and the service was terrible! The young man behind the counter was very rude and definitely didn't know how food should look! He came across as very unprofessional. Not a great place at all, we'll never eat there again!

What a nasty lady! Lady with bandana on her head. That's not how you treat customers. I spoke to her about her behavior and asked if she could be a little friendlier. Most people come to eat here purely out of necessity, for example because their loved ones are in the hospital. Her response was, I've had to tell you a thousand times. Rude! I only asked twice! You don't want such people in a catering industry, especially not in a hospital

The sandwiches were lukewarm, the ATM wasn't working. I'd been waiting fifteen minutes for a grilled cheese sandwich. They forgot and had to get it from the other kitchen. They clearly don't know what they're doing. I'm still waiting for the sandwich while I'm here. Edit: The sandwich had very little cheese, and no sauce. Never again. I'd rather have Albert Heijn to go than next time. The staff were really unhelpful and sloppy.

The cheesecakes were amazing. They were honestly the best cheesecakes I've ever had— [a gnome suddenly runs past me and giggles] W-what was that? Did you see that?!

A hospital visit isn't fun enough, but the way you're treated makes it even less enjoyable. The toasted sandwich was also lifeless and dry. No free ketchup, you have to pay separately, ma'am. Too bad...

Great food, plenty of choice, prices perhaps a bit high. Too bad there are rats around.

Ate here twice after bad news conversations at the Sophia Children's Hospital. Both times not a good experience with staff, not even a greeting. The first time, the person only paid attention to her phone and entered the wrong items at the cash register. The second time I asked whether a sandwich was suitable for pregnant women, but she didn't seem to understand the question.

Ridiculous the price for a healthy sandwich. And then you get nothing...

No hot food tonight, no plates, staff not very interested, one-off and unworthy of Erasmus MC!

Excellent sandwiches and everything you need for lunch, and an extensive range of cookies from Koekenla. But…. Can someone take care of the logistics? The place was not busy at all, but despite three (!) people behind the counter, there were still long waiting times (and therefore lukewarm toast). Shame and unnecessary!

Cheesecake is expensive and not fresh.

More than 20 minutes in line to get a cup of tea. Very long line and only 1 person serving. You're better off going to the Albert Heijn to go..... Trash cans were overflowing. Not a nice atmosphere.

Leuk als je moet wachten met vriendelijk personeel

Rond 15.00 waren er alleen nog warme croissants. Wel heel lekker. Jammer dat er naast koek en taart weinig/geen keus was.

Koffie was lekker maar het broodje was niet best

Prima plek, lekker ruim. Aanbod is niet zo breed. Vergelijk je het met AH Togo om de hoek, dan is het vrij beperkt. Maar alles is er voor een goede lunch of voor koffie. Vriendelijk personeel!

Erg afhankelijk welk personeel aanwezig is, over het algemeen uitstekend.

Wat een gaaf gebouw, kwa constructie en vormgeving. En natuurlijk ook de bijzondere collectie.

Bestellen aan de balie is soms een moeizaam en traag proces. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding gemiddeld.

Gemakkelijk even wat drinken met een kleine hap erbij. Genoeg plaats om te zitten.

Altijd lekkere bonenkoffie uit een degelijke espressomachine.

Het is een ziekenhuis restaurant dus moet je er ook niet teveel van verwachten.

Very hood food to eat while at Erasmus MC

Gelegen in het Erasmus MC. Ruime keus aan heerlijke patisserie.

Bij Dok 10 kun je allerlei fruitdrankjes kopen maar ook gewoon frisdrank en voor de kinderen chocomel en fristy. Verder hebben ze warme saucijzenbroodjes en kaasbroodjes. Ze hebben ook gezonde broodjes. Dat zijn stukken stokbrood met bijvoorbeeld kaas sla tomaat enzo erop. Ook nog andere broodjes zoals tortilla wrap met feta kaas. Verder muffins koeken zakjes chips Verder nog heerlijk gebak, bijvoorbeeld red velvet en worteltaart en bij de kassa koffie. Het gebak is erg duur maar is dan ook overheerlijk! Al met al best gezellig zitten vrij duur maar wel lekker

Prima plek voor een lunch tussen de middag. Jammer dat ze geen soep verkopen.

Tafels zijn vandaag wel heel smerig terwijl 't personeel rustig staat te praten met elkaar.

Mooie zaak, midden in het EMC.
