Domino's Pizza in Buitenveldert-Oost

I am very disappointed with my experience at Domino's Pizza Buitenveldert. I placed an order with an expected delivery time of approximately 30 minutes. After 50 minutes, my order in the app was still showing as 'being processed'. Therefore, I called myself to ask if everything was in order. Only then did an employee, and later the manager, tell me that the delivery driver had had an accident and had been sent home, and that deliveries were therefore no longer being made. I understand that, of course, but what I find unacceptable is that this was not communicated to me at any point. I did not receive a phone call, email, or message. If I hadn't called myself, I would probably have been waiting much longer. The manager then asked for my address. I live literally one minute away from this branch. That is why I found it very strange that no one could just bring the order, especially since it didn't seem busy at all at that moment. When I asked if I could get a refund, I was told that this was not possible. Instead, the manager offered to make my pizza bigger and give me a free item with it. It was already 10 minutes before closing time, so I eventually went to pick up the order myself. When I arrived, there was only one employee present, and moreover, they hadn't even started making my pizza yet. When I finally received my order, it turned out the pizza was simply the same size as I had originally ordered. I immediately confronted the employee who was working about this. He told me that no one had informed him about a larger pizza. Additionally, he indicated that the reason I had been given over the phone was incorrect and that my order had actually been forgotten. That also explained to me why the pizza wasn't made until I was standing in the store myself. Fortunately, I also want to compliment the employee who was working at that moment. He was incredibly friendly, apologized immediately, gave me a free drink, and even offered to remake my pizza. He did everything he could to resolve the situation properly, and I appreciated that enormously. Thanks to him, my evening turned out much better after all. My disappointment therefore does not lie with this employee, but with the way my order and I were handled prior to that. Poor communication, incorrect information, lies, a forgotten order, and ultimately waiting well over an hour and a half for a pizza that was only made when I was actually there. I find that truly unacceptable. I hope Domino's does something about this, because this is absolutely not the service you should expect from a branch. By the way: this was a medium box with a small pizza ridiculous

Really good Pizza considering that it's a chain. I love the dough, it's definitely better than New York Pizza. We always do takeaway and then it's fresh and really nice!

I ordered a Detroit-style "Pepperoni Party" pizza. I ate there and watched them prepare the pizza. They poured at least half a liter of oil into the pizza pan. The base of the pizza was completely soaked in oil. So was the pizza box. I understand that some oil is necessary in the pan... but that much?! I feel sick. Please train your employees on how much oil is acceptable in a pizza pan. I'm sure it doesn't need to be swimming in oil. The employee seemed unmotivated while preparing the pizza.

This has been my goto dominos. You get what you’ll expect from a typical domino’s restaurant - clean and basic. In general the staff is good - I’ve had a few issues - but they have always replaced the pizza. It can get really busy during offer days - but my orders have not been affected by them

Never received my order and I’m very disappointed. Called the store after waiting for over 45minutes as the tracker mentioned it was delivered but sadly it wasn’t the case. On the phone, they Mentioned indeed that the delivery guy had forgotten my order but he’ll deliver it when he returns. It’s been now over 2 hours and still no pizza. Very disappointing experience and will not order again.

I ordered 2 times since yesterday, first yesterday they cancel, and now today we try again and it says the order is delivered but it never came. I’m starting to doubt the existence of this restaurant!

Yesterday we ordered 2 medium pizzas & a chocolate shake. After waiting well over the time for the delivery I rang the store, as although the delivery note had been saying out for delivery we’d not received them. The guy on the phone said the pizzas were still with him, he was short staffed only one guy on delivery on a Friday evening. Shortly after the pizzas arrived by a pleasant enough young guy. They were flat cold, looked dried up & unappetising as well as one of the pizzas lacked ingredients that are imperative to its name…a Hawaiian with no pineapple!!! So disappointing! After waiting ages rubbish pizza to boot! Wouldn’t recommend under any circumstances to anybody. Dominoes is my favourite brand of pizza I’ve had them in numerous countries & this was the worst! I’d like my money back!!! Since posting this review this morning I see I have received an answer to my review to Dominoes directly yesterday evening. Their customer service person called Renee has reached out to rectify the issue. For this I am extremely grateful and happy to see that they read and take the reviews they receive seriously. It still does not alter my review or our sentiments on the poor product received but we appreciate their prompt response to try sort out the problem…thank you Dominoes NL my faith in you is somewhat restored, let’s see how we go on.

The food was average- chips were unsalted and flavourless but pizza was okay.

On our first day in Amsterdam, we hadn't activated international payments on our credit card and didn’t have an internet connection. As a result, we couldn’t pay for our food. Thankfully, a kind guy who worked there offered to pay with his card, and we gave him cash in return. Big thanks, bro!

I ordered the Margarita Box and what i got had absolutely no similarity to the picture in UberEats. It is the smallest portion i have ever seen. I can’t comment on the taste as there was none. If you want to order it don’t, you can just grab a piece of paper put a little bit of ketchup on top and i promise you, it will be more enjoyable to eat 🙄

Ordered a creamy bacon with cheese crust - receive a plain margarita with no crust. The second part of the order was not made, so I had to wait for additional 10 mins. Terrible place that doesn’t even give you what you ordered

I ordered bbq chicken pizza , i can barely see thin pieces of that, it is only the bread and cheese, if you order this kind remember that you have to add chickens to it yourself with the price of 16 euros ! Not satisfied but I was hungry and ate it.it taste the bread and the cheese only. But I paid for more !! Also very rude personnel that when I called and complained he only cut the phone on me. I gave 2 stars for delivery that was on time but when he opened the bicycle box, all was out of pizza box and was fallen inside the bicycle box that makes you feel it is dirty and not hygienic at all !

Nice pizza and drinks, a good option to feed yourself quickly. Digital ordering system. Was waiting about ten minutes for my order. Works late hours and was not crowded around 22:00. Tables are not very clean.

Ordered from uber and it said it delivered to my address but I hadn’t received anything so I rang the shop to send me out another one and they said the driver was waiting outside my place for 20 minutes trying to ring me when he wasn’t absolute plonkers mad for money scamming people and lying so they can get a few more bob in there pockets

Order placed via home delivery for collection. Went there during working hours, order had not arrived for the vague reason that there were no delivery people and I happened to order in the wrong time slot. I showed order and payment details, but had to order again on the spot and handle it myself with home delivery. No food, but paid. First make sure the site works before people can order.

I've eaten a lot of pizzas in my life, but this was one of the worst

I placed an order at 8:51 PM (a pizza margarita, crunchy chicken and potato wedges) for around 25 euros. After 45 minutes I called to ask where my order was. The nonchalant employee who spoke English told me that the order would be shipped out within 5 minutes, but I received no further apologies for the delay. I specifically said I was hoping I wouldn't receive a cold pizza since delivery is taking so long, the employee said there was no way I would. At 9:53 PM, so 1 hour and 2 minutes after ordering, I finally received my order. Of course the pizza was just cold, the cheese had already set, the potatoes were already hard and the chicken had also cooled down. I find this really disappointing and scandalous, I also live in the Zuidas, which is literally only a 4-minute bike ride from your location. Your competitor New York Pizza almost always delivers within 15 minutes or less, so you can learn a lot from that. Or is this standard how you run a franchise and deal with customers?

I took two margherita pizzas and a portion of chips. The pizzas are a little overcooked but the chips are amazing. I hadn't booked but I only had to wait a quarter of an hour.

2nd pizza free when picked up, I pick up two pizzas after ordering by phone, they make it difficult because it has to be ordered via the website. Manager doesn't think along, just a bullshit. Poor thinking along with the customer. The manager is Adriën and he did not think along.

We arrived half an hour before closing time with a large group, but this was no problem, Alex helped us well and quickly brought us delicious food! Top business!

Slow service. Cold bad Pizza. Ordered online, waited for nearly 1.5 hours for delivery. After an hour and 10 minutes i called the store. They told me pizza is just going into the oven because they were "understaff" and only "one delivery guy".... eventually pizza arrived. Very bad quality, and COLD. Conclusion. DO NOT ORDER from this place. No standards. Dominos should really look into this. Dominos is never going to be the best pizza in the world, but in the UK, at lease it had standards, it came quick under 30 min and hot

Lijkt flink achteruit gegaan te zijn hier. Voorheen heel wat pizzas laten bezorgen door dit filiaal en werd altijd netjes tot aan de deur gebracht. Nu wordt ik gebeld of ik de pizza wil komen ophalen bij de bezorger die aan de andere kant van het winkelcentrum staat. Als eenmanszaak die alleen in de winkel staat is dit dus onmogelijk. Heb de bezorger netjes gevraagd of hij naar de andere kant van het winkelcentrum wilt komen waarna er nog steeds verwacht wordt ik de winkel uit kom om de pizza buiten op te halen. Filiaal gebeld om dit probleem te melden kon overigens alleen in het Engels want Nederlands kennen ze er blijkbaar niet meer. Die meneer vertelde me dat dit normaal is. Laatste keer helaas. Vorig jaar was de pizza niet fantastisch (zie oude reviews van anderen), maar in januari hebben we het weer een kans gegeven en dat viel niet tegen! Vooral de Italian style pizza's zijn prima, rijkelijk belegd en met een goede actie vaak scherp geprijsd. Helaas kregen we laatst per ongeluk een verkeerde pizza, maar dat werd heel netjes opgelost. Aanrader!

Ha pasado mucho tiempo esperando su pizza desde que hay una en Buitenveldert. Como no queríamos cocinar esa noche, nos llevamos algunas pizzas a casa. Tienen vegetariano incluso vegano, ¡Yay! Era pizza recién hecha con masa fresca. Servicio rápido y bueno. y también es buena pizza

We konden voor de deur parkeren en dat kwam goed uit want we net een dagje weg en hadden geen zin om te komen, dus ff Domino's proberen. Het menu dat op het raam stond geplakt bleek niet allemaal op voorraad te zijn, maar we hadden genoeg vegatarische keuze. Het werd een Margarita en een Pesto Pollo (met vega kip). Het duurde ruim 10 minuten en het werd vers gemaakt onder onze ogen. Je kan verder niet binnen eten, althans dat is dacht ik niet de bedoeling. De krukken staan er dacht ik alleen om op te wachten. Je kan er ook Ben en Jerry ijs emmertjes bij kopen. Misschien komen we nog wel een keer.
