Super cozy square with delicious food!

The taste was okay, nothing special. Overall, it was too oily for me. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio wasn't good, as I found the portions much too small. The dish consisted mainly of tomatoes. We didn't leave the restaurant feeling 100 percent full and satisfied, and therefore wouldn't recommend it.

Very generously filled spicy chicken sandwich. Good taste with salad etc.

Lovely place on "us sjoene slevrouweplein" where you get delicious pastas for a very nice price. Exactly as an Osteria should be!

It is a super cozy little place, the service takes its time. The food is really good quality-price ratio. They had an aperol left and they gave it on the house. All in all a definite recommendation!

I went to Donna’s today on Saturday lunchtime and really enjoyed it! I had a Frozen Aperol – super refreshing and ideal in the sunny weather. There was also a Caesar salad with chicken, which was really tasty: fresh ingredients, juicy chicken and a great dressing. The waiter was very attentive and friendly, the service was quick and the atmosphere was relaxed. Everything was clean and well-kept - you just feel comfortable. It's really nice to sit outside under the trees, with lovely decorations and a Mediterranean flair. A perfect place for an enjoyable lunch break – I’d love to come back!

Here on King’s day and the staff was so professional and friendly and efficient. The ambience was wonderful. And the food was out of this world. We had the salads scampi and it was divine. Cocktails, wine, everything was great.

Last weekend I was surprised with a bachelor party for our wedding. Maastricht is my favorite city so I was very happy when I found out that we would spend the day there. After some fun activities we walked to a restaurant. Suddenly they said 'stop, this is where we're going in'. I look at the facade and see 'Donna's', my name! They found a restaurant in my favorite city with my name! It was a great experience! The restaurant was cozy, small and super atmospheric. The service was great, everyone was equally helpful and friendly. I felt completely pampered! My sister could have arranged for us to be served delicious snacks. That is quite difficult for our large group with a number of vegetarians, vegans, lactose intolerances, etc. It is not normal how well Donna's has responded to this, they put complete vegan appetizer boards on the table, alternating with appetizer boards with meat and fish. The bread was wonderfully fresh, as was the entire board. The Primitivo was delicious, the desserts were great and we got a limoncello afterwards. I never thought I would be so full from snacks, the snacks were really fantastic! The team at Donna's made my evening unforgettable, thank you again so much for everything and we will definitely come back here!

Always looking for a restaurant that we have not yet been to in Maastricht, we ended up at Osteria Donna's on the O.L.V. square. The search result was a direct hit. We had deliberately chosen a spot inside; everyone sat outside even though it was typical Dutch weather. We knew it! We felt very special because of the hospitable service (in Maastricht!) while the dishes chosen were exactly what we were looking forward to with other Osterias in mind. Add to that the fun factor (including Italian music, and for once not the popular middle of the road stuff of other Italians) and you have an evening of wonderful enjoyment! Recommended!

Have to wait a long time for food that never comes.

Never again. Waiting for 10minutes for drinks. Waited 2 hours for maincourse and didn't even get it

Ordered drinks upon arrival and had to wait almost 15 minutes for them. small dishes for too high a price if you ask me. Then wait another 2 hours for a main course, asked 3 times how long it will take, only after asking 3 times is the answer how long it will take. Finally canceled the main course and left. No compensation nothing!

Had to wait a long time for food and drinks. Food is mediocre and portions are very small for the price. Finally paid the bill after 2 hours and left, because we still had not received the main course.

Waiting 2 hours for a simple dish. Staff who pay more attention to each other than to the customers. And that on a half-empty terrace. We will never come back here again. Just an additional response to the owner's response. We saw that the bill had indeed been adjusted, which is certainly nice. But we have not had any excuses from staff, but we have had an excuse where each time a different colleague was blamed. And offering a free drink after serving drinks is a “killer”.

Located in the heart of Maastricht, you can enjoy sitting outside (heat lamps available). The food was outstanding, we had Pasta, Pinsa and Bruschetta as a side dish. Everything delicious & fair prices. Service was friendly. Good spot for vegetarian/vegan foodies, accessible for people with disabilities.

Really delicious food and fantastic service! Recommended. Really Italian. The tiramisu was also really good.

I came to Donna’s to have a break from stressful Christmas shopping, and it was a pleasure! They serve half sized portions of pasta if you need a quick small meal, or delicious pizza bread to have with a fresh beer. It is a nice and cozy terrace, and very friendly staff! I definitely recommend!

We sat inside with the family where there was a nice atmosphere. The staff is nice and thinks along with you. The food was incredibly delicious! Please note that there are only a few tables inside, but there is a large terrace.

We visited the Derlon Hotel for a weekend and came here twice for something to eat/drink. Very friendly service (thanks for tasting a real Maastricht beer). Top business!

Ate with a friend and it was super tasty! Both had a pinsa. The parma and the tuna. If you like pizza then this is a nice place. But the pinsa is better than a 🍕

I'm a fish lover and that's why I took a sea bream. This was met with a fresh pasta agilio served. My wife had a tagliata di manzo, which was delicious and tender. All in all we had a great evening with very good wines and great service! and this in a cozy place at the OLV!

Went here for dinner tonight with a group. Fantastic food. Ordered everything to fill the table and share with each other. The 'non-everything eaters' were even very positive about the food. So highly recommended! In any case, it is very nice to eat on the Olvplein.

Cozy place on OLV. The service is young and fast and very polite. We had a delicious cheese board beforehand and then a pinsa and gnocchi Enough choice, also for vegetarians.

The service is terrible, they made us pay for glasses of tap water for a total of €18 for 5 people. The manager knew we were right about the lack of business attitude towards us. The price of the dishes was unreasonable compared to the quality of the service. I do not recommend

We went there for dinner after a walk around Maastricht. We had outdoor seating in the central place. The service was attentive and very helpful (fluent in German and English). The food was good, maybe a bit pricey - the portions are quite small. Not sure if it was 'original Italian', though - so if you expect the 'original Roman osteria' feeling, you might be disappointed.

We sat on the terrace at Donna's and enjoyed a truly perfect goat cheese sandwich and a delicious carpaccio. Highly recommended. Furniture was beautiful and the cushions were new I think. Service very neat and friendly.

Delicious food on a pleasant square. Price a bit on the high side (pasta around €17.50).

We were quite rudely told to stand somewhere else and not in front of their windows on the public (!) sidewalk. I won't come here ever again after this.

The arancini are ridiculously small but the green sauce is amazing.

Initially fine up to and including the starter, then it took a very long time, the waiter lady left the dishes for the starter in front of us for a very long time. Finally after 45 minutes she took it off the table, after another 19 minutes she asked where the main course was, sorry I was so busy was her answer on a half empty terrace. Then the meal was full, after more than an hour after the starter. I paid for what I had, the boss quickly fled without any reaction to me. A hopeless undertaking, never again

Very cute and cosy. Nice Italian food to pair with your drinks, although it is more Italo-Americano oriented for some dishes, it is worth trying if you are in Maastricht (plus it’s rather new)

Relaxed here over the weekend. Unfortunately the service was a bit less. At the end of the evening there was quite a rush and immediately after a drink we were asked if we wanted another drink since they were closing. No problem, great that they asked. But then, also because of the rush, drinks were thrown all over my outfit. I had to ask for a towel myself, then got a dirty, smelly cloth to clean myself... drank a drink, paid and left. Unfortunately this was the last time for me.

I'm one of those people who always google a restaurant after taking a seat. This restaurant didn't have one yet! Quickly asked the waitress and it turned out that they had only been open for a month. And what a wonderful tent it was! We had the vegetarian meatballs from the oven, which tasted great. The Donna Pinsa was crispy and better than a standard parma pizza. The Chicken Alfredo was creamy but definitely not too greasy, delicious! Enjoyed it very much. Hopefully you will get more good reviews soon!
