Doppio Espresso Nijmegen in Wijk 01 Nijmegen-Centrum

Very unfriendly establishment. We drank over €30. The waitress changed every three minutes and pushily asked for more. When we indicated we didn't want to order more, we were asked to leave the terrace because we had to keep drinking. This was the manager's order. This woman refused to explain or discuss the matter. We had to leave. A perfect example of how not to treat customers. I'd advise you to visit a different address or terrace. I hadn't even been on the terrace for an hour. According to the owner, it was three hours??? I should have bought a different watch. We drank almost €30 in that hour. Seems like a fair amount to me.

Just a regular place, nothing special except for the prices. €4 for average espresso is too much, there are many places in city centre with better quality and lower prices

Coffe was with fly inside, after I did ask for change, really nice waitress offered help, but behind bar, the bartender or owner, fat white hair guy with glassess put my old coffe to new cup. Moment I saw it I did leave coffeeshop. Area is nice but local dramaaa.

Nice studying all afternoon, quiet vibes and it is not as warm as outside. Drinks and food very tasty and the dog is very cute and quiet.

A take-away cappuccino for 5 euros! That really makes no sense and can also not be based on anything; no unique experience added value that can substantiate this. Also the cappuccino - just normal size - was more of an Americano.

I had a disappointing experience at Doppio Nijmegen. I ordered an iced matcha, but they brought me a hot one. When I told them it wasn’t what I ordered, instead of making a new drink, they just added ice to the hot matcha and handed it back to me. As expected, the ice melted almost instantly, and I was left with a lukewarm matcha — definitely not what you want on a hot day. On top of that, the milk had been steamed, which completely ruins the flavor and texture of an iced matcha. It tasted awful. I politely asked if they could make it properly, but they refused and acted visibly annoyed that I was asking.

Nice place to have a drink or eat. We had a breakfast platter here a long time ago, which we liked very much, it was extensive and tasty. Yesterday we thought we'd do that again. Breakfast board was no longer the same as it was back then. I thought it was a bit disappointing for that price. The food is delicious and there are few places where they have such tasty croissants. When we were there, another customer was very rude and intimidating to the 2 employees. Really incredibly sad, but respect how calm they remained. I read in other reviews that they don't find the owner friendly, which I really don't understand. Every time I met that gentleman, I found him very friendly and kind. All in all a nice place to drink/eat!

Nice Cafe with poor sound acoustics. You hear the steam pipe of the coffee machine continuously. Ultimately, if you stay there for more than 15 minutes, the atmosphere sounds more like a constant noise. The sound waves are given free space in this practically closed space. Don't get me wrong folks, a really nice Cafe, nice seating area. The noise ruins the atmosphere. You ignore what does not affect your home environment and when you work there it will probably come across differently. So the guests sitting there don't realize it, but if the noise in their residential area were like this, they would complain. As a manager I would have done something about it. To clarify the choice options below, we only had drinks and pastries.

Quality and hospitality is always less, a grumpy owner that makes you feel absolutely unwelcome and the last few times the baked goods were not fresh, this cannot be a coincidence and now with four days I had to pay 6x0.50 cents for drinks and capuchinos while they were served in real bargains and glasses . Doppio in Nijmegen is an amazing place for a coffee break. The staff is super friendly and attentive, and they really make you feel at home. Their coffee is top-notch, and the cozy atmosphere with stylish decor makes it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a wonderful cup of coffee.

We had lunch here for the first time. The sandwiches were sparsely filled. The employee who prepares the sandwiches operates the cash register in between and does not wear gloves when preparing the sandwiches. I don't think this is very hygienic. Cappuccino is tasty, but I think 4.60 euros is quite a bit of a price. Not a second time for us.

Kom vaker bij Doppio, maar deze kenden we nog niet. Helaas viel de lunch ons tegen. Bediening was vriendelijk en toiletten schoon. Dus daar niets op aan te merken. Wat wel aandacht behoeft, is de smaak van de lunchgerechten. Alles is vrij smaakloos en met kleine ingrepen veel smakelijker te maken. Ook is niet alles even warm en vinden we sommige gerechten vet. Verder vinden wij het zeer vreemd dat een huishond door het restaurant wandelt en ook op de banken/kussens ligt (dat alleen al, maar helemaal waar gasten zitten). En dan zijn wij nog wel hondenliefhebbers. Andere gasten schoten aan de kant toen de hond op de bank sprong gezien zij honden eng vonden. Concluderend kunnen wij zeggen: andere Doppio vestigingen zijn in alle opzichten beter en hygiënischer (geen huishond).

2019: Koffie en gebak. Lekker! 2023: Ik ben goede ervaringen gewend van Doppio, dus kwam hier vol vertrouwen op het terras zitten. Het duurde ruim 10 minuten tot iemand een keer onze bestelling kwam opnemen. Tijdens het wachten zijn we driemaal gespit en genegeerd. Uiteindelijk mochten we bestellen. In plaats van de bestelde koffie kreeg ik een slappe Americano, met een deel van de koffie in het schoteltje. Het gebak viel erg tegen. Bij het afrekenen bleek het duurder dan gedacht, omdat ze standaard een grotere maat leveren. Misschien komt het door de corona tijd, maar deze koffiezaak is gillend achteruit gegaan. Volgende keer gaan we naar elders.

Eine tolle Cafeteria mit sehr angenehmer und gastfreundlicher Atmosphäre. Wir durften ein leckeres Frühstück vernaschen. Wirklich sehr lecker und appetitlich eingerichtet. Wir wurden sogar am Tisch persönlich von dem süßen Hund begrüßt 🐕😍 echt nett. Das Lokal ist sehr schön eingerichtet, sauber und gemütlich. Es war ein schönes Erlebnis in Nijmegen ☺️👍

Erg achteruit gegaan. De bladen zijn doorgaans twee jaar oud. Het koekje bij de koffie ontbreekt sinds kort. De koffie is goed maar dat is ook het enige.

Langs de route van een met een groene lijn uitgezette rondwandeling vonden we deze Italiaamse koffiebar, waar heerlijke koffie en thee werd geserveerd. Een mannelijk personeelslid was nieuw en wist nog niet goed hoe alles reilde en zeilde, maar hij werd bijgestaan door meer ervan collega's. Het gebak hier verdient zeker een aparte vermelding. We hadden allemaal een ander stuk en proefde bij elkaar welke het lekkerste was. Dit was geen makkelijke taak, want het was echt allemaal verrukkelijk. Opvallend was de kleine mopshond die duidelijk bij de zaak hoorde. Persoonlijk vind ik dat huisdieren niet in een Horeca zaak thuis horen, maar anderen hadden er duidelijk minder moeite mee. Voor liefhebbers van Italiaans gebak echt een aanrader.

De koffie is erg goed, beetje jammer dat je niet altijd een koekje bij je koffie krijgt.

Vandaag gember thee met citroen en een dubbel gevouwen warme tortilla belegd met vitello tonato.( weet de officiële naam ff niet) Was verrassend lekker! En kennis gemaakt met sam.puggy, zo lief!

Kwaliteit van de koffie en zoetigheden is prima. Mooi ingericht ook. Wij zijn hier regelmatig geweest en meestal moeten we lang wachten tot iemand onze bestelling komt opnemen. Soms een kwartier, maar drie kwartier is ook voorgekomen. Prima als je totaal geen haast hebt, maar als je echt dorstig of hongerig bent, dan duurt het gewoon te lang. Personeel is vriendelijk.

Zaak op een mooie locatie. Vriendelijke en vlotte bediening.met een ruime keuze aan producten. Heerlijk buiten genieten (als het zonnetje schijnt).

Heerlijke plek om een gebakje te eten, te kunnen flexwerken en keuze uit heel veel verschillende koffies! Ik kom hier graag! Fijn en zonnig terras, geduldige bediening en het ziet er altijd verzorgd en schoon uit.
