Had to wait a long time. But the food and atmosphere were great.

Unfortunately, we had to wait a bit to place our order, even though we were almost alone in the morning. Luckily, everything went smoothly afterward: the food was deliciously fresh, with generous portions and a really wide selection! We'd love to come back again if we're ever in the area.

What a nice place to have a delicious lunch and eat cake. We had smorebrod with a topping of Swedish meatballs in combination with strawberries. And spicy chicken with a delicious marinade.

Excellent lunch, friendly service, a bit cramped

Fika has been in the city center of Nijmegen for a number of years now. The nice thing is that it has not lost any quality in all that time. It is always good, fresh, tasty and delicious. Definitely recommended for a cup of coffee or a good lunch with sandwiches and/or Swedish delicacies.

High Fika for the second time, very successful.

Met in de gedachten dat het druk was binnen, hadden we al iets langer dan gebruikelijk gewacht op onze soep…. Na 40 min nog geen soep op tafel hebben staan was voor mij de moeite waard om ergens anders mn lunch te gaan houden. Eerder altijd genoten hier van een goed ontbijtje of lunch….

Ontzettend vriendelijk en gezellig personeel! Heerlijke broodjes, staan open om broodjes iets aan te passen naar wens. Restaurant is niet groot maar erg gezellig!

The food came 2 hours after I’d ordered it. It was quite busy and I’m sure they did their best, but they didn’t acknowledge it or apologise.

Great breakfast / lunch spot! Many vegetarian & vegan options. We had smørrebrød with vegan köttbullar & chestnut mushrooms. The Kötbullar was very tasty with sauerkraut & cranberry dip. Afterwards we also had chocolate kladdkaka, chocolate cake & a vegan stewed pear cake, which looked like cheesecake. Both were very good.

Nice place with tasty food and friendly service. Delicious sandwiches with chicken and roast beef. Bonus points for the delicious drink. A point of attention for the real smörrebröd lover, the bread is not rye bread but 'normal' (delicious) bread.

It was very busy and it is a pity that the service could not handle it well. The cappucino was cold, the espresso was particularly sour, the cinnamon roll was unfortunately no longer available (we did charge for it) but the cheesecake was perfectly fine. I have sat and eaten here before, always had good experiences. But unfortunately not this time.

The food was nice, but overpriced. We paid 24 euros for two smørebrods and two lemonades. The food was okay, but not super fresh as we expected. They had a big vegetarian selecrion, which was nice. The atmosphere was noisy and not very comfortable. We had to go to the counter to get served, because they were too busy to serve us.

Nice place, delicious open faced sandwiches

Very cozy place with friendly staff. The Swedish shrimp salad bread was so tasty that I decided to order another one with ham and Brie. Food are beautifully presented and tasty (as well as the bread itself). Unfortunately the second dish had a tiny stain on the plate and a few leaves that look a little dry. So 4 stars. Otherwise I really enjoyed dining here. The food can be served tiny tiny bit of faster. Overall the cost performance is very high. It also has a backyard :) highly recommend, so I still want to give it a five star!

Very nice place to have lunch with original "smörrebrödjes". Pleasantly busy and a lot of people. You can eat inside as well as outside.

Had lunch in the courtyard, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Bread was tasty and richly filled. Quite pricey if you go for 2 slices, you pay €15.50 excluding drinks.

Good. Service could be a little more attentive. The food was tasty, but not every sandwich is equally well-filled.

Eerste bezoek aan deze dagzaak ondanks dat we al jaren in Nijmegen komen. Maar we gaan zeker een keer terug! We hebben heerlijk geluncht waarbij je zelf je portiegrootte kunt bepalen. Hierdoor is er voor ieder wat lekkers te vinden, de bediening is correct en netjes. En je hoeft niet lang te wachten (althans niet op deze zondagmiddag). Het assortiment is gevarieerd. Zowel vlees, vis als ook vegan is in ruime mate aanwezig. Minpunt: het restaurant ligt bij het Faberplein, dit is niet echt in het winkelgebied van Nijmegen. Maar zeker op loopafstand van de parkeergarages en winkels. Aanrader dus!

Nice place, delicious lunch with original and lots of choice, separate space to work

A nice place with decent food. It can be a bit pricey, I think for everything we ordered (two breads, a cake, and two drinks) we paid around 30 euros. For normal lunch they recommend getting two breads a person, so that can get quite pricey in the end. They have games as well that you can use. The atmosphere was different in the various parts of the establishment, but overall it was an alright vibe. I'm not sure if I would return, but I also don't necessarily regret eating here.

Goed toeven na een lange wandeling, mooie gintonic, dan garnslensalade köttbular - gehaktballetjes met cranberry’s - aardig bier, bak water voor m’n hond, alles op een net te doen terras.

Very nice place to have a lunch, the location is on the bit smaller side, making it full quicker. Besides this it looks nice, service is really good and most importantly the food is nice and for everyone there are possibilities. I would definitely recommend going here!

Not the nicest atmosphere, but quite ok. You can have a delicious lunch there. Being able to reserve in advance would be a good option in my opinion (although I understand that the current method provides better occupancy).

I think this is such an hidden gem. Bringing Sweden o the Netherlands is a great idea when both countries share the “Fika” vibe. Great cardamom rolls (this was what sold me to this place) though how good they are depends on the day you visit but I find beauty in that. The open toasties are equally delicious and the portions are super nice!

Really tasty specialty coffee! Very nice concept, you can give your smorrebroodjes different toppings. The Scandinavian atmosphere is very cozy!

Cozy atmosphere and nice staff. Only the price is not in proportion to the quantity you get. Very small slice of bread for €7.5. The carrot cake was very good and a large portion. The cinnamon roll was very dry and tasteless, this was indicated and was neatly resolved and removed from the bill. The coffee tasted fine, but lukewarm. Too bad because we expected more based on the good reviews.

A tiny slice of bread for €7.50 for an extra slice of €7.50. Very strange concept, never experienced it before. The cappuccino was lukewarm both times. Not to be repeated.

Coffee is good and you can work comfortably in the office area. Food is on the expensive side and not very good or special. At other coffee shops in the city you can eat much better food for less money.

Zeer smakelijk bereid en mooi opgediend smørrebrød, echt een aanrader voor een feestelijke lunch.

Op vrijdag even tot rust komen tijdens het winkelen met mijn vrouw en dochter bij Fika kafe, een 'Zweedse' lunchroom. Ja, het voelt wel Scandinavisch aan, prachtig verzorgd en smakelijk smorrebrod. Je geeft aan hoeveel broodjes je wil, 1,2 of zelfs 3. Ook soep enz. Kan er besteld worden. Alle tafeltjes waren bezet maar de bediening en service was top! Chapeau voor het personeel! Prijs kwaliteit is goed. Alhoewel het flesje frambozenlimonade redelijk prijzig was. Ik kom hier zeker nog een keer terug.

Voldoende omdat ‘goed’ niet kan en ‘heel goed’ vind ik het net niet. Maar goed. To the point. Allereerst, heel leuke zaak, gezellig en cozy. De koffie was heerlijk en de Kladkakka ook, maaaaaar die kanelbulle was geen kanelbulle. 😬 Ik was ontgoocheld, wou me even terug in Zweden wanen maar helaas. Jammer maar al bi al was het wel een leuke plek.

Fijne plek om te werken. Bediening iets nog wat onervaren maar wel gezellig. Eten was prima met Scandinavische invloeden.

We ordered our food before we came and waited 1,5 hour for it. It took 45 minutes before they let us order our drinks and then the food came separately. Very bad experience

Very close to being 5 stars from me but I just don't really like their coffee:( However, the breads are absolutely amazing! I'm vegetarian and I'm really satisfied with their veggie options. You can also ask them to adjust the meal to make it vegan. My favorite is the pulled jackfruit bread but it's not on the menu anymore:'( They also have a studying section.

Meerdere keren geweest en echt nog nooit iets kunnen opmerken. Heerlijk lunchtentje, mogelijkheid om te kiezen van kleine tot grote lunch. Gemakkelijk om meerdere soorten beleg te kiezen. Personeel altijd vriendelijk, fijne sfeer. Parkeren kan tegen betaling voor de deur.

Heerlijke vegetarische kaart met mooie binnentuin en supergoede service. We hebben echt genoten van het broodje met vega tempeh en de kütbollar!!!!!

Erg lekkere broodjes! Leuk dat je broodjes kunt combineren. Wel is het al snel erg duur. Ze raden aan 2 broodjes pp te kiezen waardoor je al snel op €15 euro per persoon uitkomt exclusief drankjes.

Leuk concept om te eten. Je kiest de hoeveelheid broodjes en kunt zelf per broodje kiezen welk beleg je wilt. Bediening is vriendelijk.

Jaaaa was top!!!! De chai latte was heerlijk, golden tea was lekker, de messen waren goed scherp en de verschillende broodkeuzes voor die prijzen? Amsterdam could never!!!! Yeah!

Met de vierdaagse hadden ze een speciale menu wij hebben alleen iets gedronken. Vriendelijke personeel.

Erg fijn plekje om te ontbijten of te lunchen! Lekkere salades, lekker broodjes! Leuke vriendelijke bediening! Enige minpuntje is dat als er veel mensen zijn dat het ook erg lawaaierig is. Bediening blijft wel snel serveren.

Great place and a small taste of Scandinavian food. Even had soya milk and one of the best Chai tea I have had, so good that I went back a second time to have one on the car ride back. Food is fresh and the café is fresh and homey interior. Super sweet workers and have lactose free and gluten free options.
