Dry cake, coffee not wow. Dark and very noisy.

The coffee and food were good, but the service was really poor. Ordering our first drink was pretty quick, but after that, the service essentially stopped. She didn't come back to our table, and I couldn't even make eye contact. I ended up ordering at the bar. I found it annoying.

Some of the beta coffee I’ve had in the city center and the brunch options were incredible. The Turkish eggs were so delicious and everything was very reasonably priced. Can’t wait to return!

I really like the cappuccino. I also really like that there's a separate laptop table. I'd definitely come back!

We popped in for a cup of coffee and were ignored by the staff. Apparently, clearing the shelves was more important than serving customers. So we went to ask if it was even open. We were then given lukewarm, weak coffee. Coffee should be nice and hot. The brownie was good, though.

Nicely decorated, delicious coffee, fair prices. If they'd just clean the tables between guests, it would be perfect.

The mocha here is truly delicious, which is why I loved coming here. Unfortunately, I've already ordered a cardamom bun twice and didn't get it. Too bad.

For a bit of variety, we opted for the homemade V60 filter coffee. This came without milk and sugar. Unfortunately, it wasn't my taste at all. The homemade ice tea had rosemary and, unfortunately, tasted of nothing but rosemary. The apple pie was dry. Overall, it wasn't for us.

They serve delicious cappuccino here. It's worth it.

I always loved coming to Puck because the food is so delicious, but the quality of the service has plummeted in the last few times. It usually takes 20 minutes before anyone even sees you. Today was the last straw: I wasn't greeted upon arrival and waited over 20 minutes for my order to be taken. No eye contact was made during that time. Friends and acquaintances who walked in were greeted with a hug and promptly received their drinks. When our order was finally taken, the drinks took so long that we even got our food before them. The spoon for my chai latte was dirty, so I went to the counter to ask for a clean one. The waiter cut me off to hug a friend and then completely ignored me. I ended up getting a clean spoon myself. Incidentally, the chai latte tasted only of milk. The only time the waiter came to us voluntarily was to order us to another table because their friends wanted to sit at ours. No more Puck for us.

I was at your coffee shop yesterday and have absolutely no desire to return. The staff was very arrogant, something I've never experienced before. The atmosphere was not friendly at all. There are many coffee shops in Nijmegen and the competition is fierce, so I don't understand how your staff can get away with such an attitude. Also, the matcha wasn't good—it tasted like milk.

Since the change of ownership, things have been going downhill every month, year after year. Last visit ended this morning. Cappuccinos are never as hot as they should be, and the wait is long. It's also quite dirty: dust piles in every corner, tables not wiped down between visits. The floor could use some attention. Some of the staff are practically useless.

The coffee never disappoints, they always have two coffee bean types to choose and they're definitely very knowledgeable and the coffee tastes great. This is the reason why we've come here every time we were around Nijmegen. However, I don't think we'll be running back as throughout our different visits we've noticed they have close to a fly infestation in the café which is quite disgusting to see. The flies are even flying around the coffee machine, flying from cup to cup. I wouldn't order food as a result. They really need to address that. Also, the café isn't the cleanest, with very often dirty tables, the coffee cup plate looks dirty too and dusty furniture around. It needs managerial attention quite immediately.

A very good lunch and excellent coffee! Unfortunately, it's a bit pricey, but it's cheaper than the surrounding coffee/lunch bars. I had the Turkish eggs, but I would personally add a slice of bread to make the proportions more accurate.

They had wonderful selection of coffee . The cafe is cute . The cafe is best as brunch spot . The have good pastries and their hospitality is really nice . I got the v60 and it was so good

Unfortunately, we couldn't try anything... We waited on the terrace for over twenty minutes. The staff came by several times, but didn't take any orders. Too bad, we moved to a different café.

Great place to sit for a bit. The chai latte was delicious, but the French toast was unfortunately very disappointing. €12 for a small bite that was also still cold. We asked if it could be warmed up, and I was then given an even smaller portion, while my girlfriend got a much larger one. That was quite strange? Otherwise, the staff was great, but we found the price-quality ratio disappointing.

Good options of coffee. I took one they suggested for espresso drinks (Colombia Ruzali) but seems like either the coffee was not suitable for a cappuccino or the way it was made masked all the notes. Usually funky coffee (as it was described) should work perfectly with a cappuccino or cortado if made well but in this case the drink clashed with the creaminess of the milk hiding all the natural flavour.

Fantastic coffee. Nice that you can also choose from two different beans and that this changes regularly. We like to come here for a cup of coffee. Croissants are also delicious. However, I see that there is actually too little staff. Long wait for the coffee and especially when you have already had something. I see the girls really doing their best to help everyone. But you can only do so much with two hands. So tip for the owner: more staff. Then I might also stay for lunch.

Lunch was delicious. Lots of vegetarian. I had expanded my lunch with a slice of salmon... that option is available. Nice to try out different coffee as a coffee lover. I'm a fan of filter coffee myself and luckily they serve that too. Very nice staff. It took a while for help to arrive, but we had time. I found the acoustics inside less pleasant.

Very nice place to sit, but to be honest the food and especially the drinks were disappointing. The avocado toast was tasty but there was only (two) avocado on it and an egg. that was way too much and a bit one-sided. The coffee from Rwanda was really, really bad. I understand that tastes differ, but this was really not good. I'm used to several types of coffee flavors, but it felt like you were drinking a bowl of vinegar. I left it because my table companion couldn't get rid of it either.

Super delicious lunch! We passed by by chance. Delicious coffee, you can choose between different types of beans. This time it was Brazilian (more chocolatey) or a fruitier coffee bean. Richly topped sourdough bread, you can taste that the ingredients are good and fresh. It's nice outside in the sun. Also indoors, with a quiet, pleasant atmosphere. The service is very friendly. Definitely recommended!

A not to busy lunch room, perfect to do some work and have an affordable (and tasty) lunch. Lots of options for vegetarians!

The toast called Avocado Ei was delicious and very well presented. The matcha 🍵 is also very good. For two people, breakfast costs about €35!

The coffee is delicious, the café is very nicely decorated and the staff is friendly, but you have to wait an excruciatingly long time before your order is taken or your coffee is served. At least 30 minutes, for a cappuccino and a filter coffee. It's happened to me 3 times already. So that means you're left with a bit of a negative experience. Only go if you have time and/or patience!

5 euros for this “large” cappuccino… with just normal milk. I was in shock at the price and have never paid such an amount before for this normal and small cappuccino. Coffee tastes great but I will never come back here.

Nice atmosphere, nice place and location, but my coffee tasted weird. It tasted like a watered down version or possibly even a combination of tea and coffee. A bit weird, but definitely coming back… for another drink hahaha :)

I thought the food was overpriced for what you got. It wasn't that tasty and a bit lacking. The coffee also didn't taste that good, a bit bitter or burnt. Finally, the service took a very long time. The atmosphere was quite unique. If you want to read a book for a long time with a glass of whatever, it is a nice place. But I wouldn't do a nice lunch.

Pretty good, I enjoyed my cardamon bun and coffee. I would say the coffee was slightly weaker than some other specialty places but it was still decent. A little expensive for the larger sandwiches which is why I settled for the bun (which was good!)

Delicious coffee! Once upon a time years ago. When I stepped inside, I understood why… When ordering, you were given a choice of which type of beans (coffee) you would like. I haven't experienced that often. You usually pay more for that. Friendly welcome and nice place to relax. There is also a long table where you can work with your laptop. Nice place!

I have rarely seen better coffee than this. Been many times and was never disappointed!

I had high expectations but I'm actually a little disappointed. We came to have breakfast but the kitchen turned out to be closed (??). That's why I ordered a cardamom roll and a Vega sausage. Those were tasty! On the other hand, I really didn't like the coffee. It was bitter… you should really expect more from a place like this. The employee paid little attention. But she seemed to be standing alone in a crowded tent, so understandable.

PUCK served us the best V60 specialty coffee ever! I am still wondering from time to time if it's worth it to catch a plane and go to PUCK to get even more. The vibe was chill and it was lovely to see people enjoying themselves. The barista ran a tight ship and we felt welcomed and taken care of.

Matcha latte was really good along with the food. Highly recommend the lavender cake! We also had the miso avocado toast. Total was €22 for 2 people which is really reasonable!

Coffee and food are great, sadly the service provided not. We came in first this morning and were not helped. After 3 people got their orders we were still waiting, lady told us after order 2 she’d come to us which she did not. Since 2 weeks we came in more regularly but we don’t want to support cafes providing poor customer service.

I arrived just after they opened and though it took some time to be serve, there was only one waitress. I came here for the cardamom roll which is a fixed item on the menu but apparently they actually sell cinnamon rolls. Either way I am not sure if it was supposed to or if it was because I arrived early but I got a quite undercooked roll which I’ll admit I LOVE but I reckon it is not everyone’s choice, flavour wise… delicious! I also tried the yogurt bowl and though it is an item I don’t usually go for this one was AMAZING, the yogurt and the mint jam were exquisite. Lastly, great coffee ☺️

A bit overrated...At the menu there is an option of a cardamon roll which they dont actually even serve and without being informed about that they brought us a cinnamon roll. As for the coffee we couldnt order what we wanted as the machine was broken. The food was good

If you're looking for specialty coffee + great food + cosy ambient, then this is the place! The food is from heaven, I have asked for an avocado toast, and it is definitely the best I've tried. Place is adapted for couples or big groups. They have indoor and terrace sections. Strongly recommend this place!

Still good coffee since the change of ownership, but less so in other areas. There is some rubbish on the floor, cups that remain on the table for a long time, a paint color on the wall that makes it a bit gray and unpleasant. Apparently that matters more than I would think. But it remains a nice coffee shop with good coffee. Before change of owner: Currently the only business with a good flat white with a fruity taste.

Look at these eggs and tell me you are not in love. Great food and coffee. The place gets crowded so get there early?

Superb cup of coffee; had a flat white with oat milk. My only regret is I couldn’t buy the beans to take home. Few vegan options, tried the matcha cake; tasteless and dry. Stick to coffee when I come back! Very friendly staff which let me use my laptop on the non-designated area since the laptop table was quite full.

What a nice lunch spot. Service was very friendly and personable. Food is of a high standard and a kind of worldly collection. See photo of Turkish egg. Be sure to take a very tasty 'Slowjuice' juice with it. I will definitely come back here.
