Dune in Rotterdam Centrum

Service was nice. The pancake was really good but my Çilbir was cold like they just got it out of the fridge. Even the eggs, i dont think it was freshly boiled, because was also very cold. I don’t recommend it. Cappuccino was nice, long black was not in our liking. Atmosphere was okay.

Had the banana bread and almond pancakes - both were insanely delicious. Coffee perfect as well. Huge recommendation!

Delicious cappuccino and espresso, service was also quick. Oat milk is the standard milk served which is a great plus! The food also looked amazing, so definitely coming back to try it 😍 Perfect stop after a visit to Kunsthal ❤️

The coffee is nice and the food is good as wel, but we waited on the food for 40 minutes and weren’t given any service during that time.

The coffee at Dune is just excellent. This waiters are very knowledgeable and I would always ask them for recommandations about which beans to choose. Food is also good and the portions are quite big. Overall, Dune makes a great breakfast and brunch place. Maybe the only thing to be aware of is that the space inside is limited, so if you are in a big group it can be tricky to find a spot. In the summer, they also have a nice terrace outside.

Large range of coffee beans. The coffee is really good! I am not an expert in coffee, but I can for sure tell that the quality of the food is top tier. I had a focaccia which was more than tasty, and the carrot cake… that thing is to die for! If I could give 6 stars, I would.

The restaurant is for residents and also for tourists to have a convenient breakfast, the dishes are beautifully displayed and delicious. European and Asian dishes. The drinks are also delicious. Thanks for the breakfast

A trendy place with great coffee and a great crowd. For the first time in my life, I was asked if I wanted "cow's milk" in my cortado. The çilbir I ate there was excellent. The chairs outside were a bit hard, so I ended up sitting inside. Pricey, but otherwise a great place.

The decor and overall atmosphere of this place is not my favorite, you just don't feel welcome there due to how staff approaches you. But once you try their congee it's over❤️ Delicious!

However, we had unpleasant experience: - The cookie we ordered had a long hair on it. - The glass for water was dirty. - Cobwebs on the floor and in the corners. - A common towel for all visitors, which is unhygienic. The place has good potential, but the poor service and lack of cleanliness spoil the overall impression and are disappointing.

Had to wait unnecessarily long. That doesn't exactly make it any more fun. Wait at least 30 minutes to be able to order at all. 👎🏼 In addition, they often do not have the cookies that they offer on the menu.

Absolutely loved this place! Dune Rotterdam is a peaceful place. The atmosphere is super simple, modern and welcoming. Their pancakes are incredibly tasty and just melt in your mouth. I tried both coffee latte and the matcha – both were smooth, flavorful, and beautifully made. But the real standout? The kindness of the people there and their advices to help you to find your latte. I forget to mention the Turkish eggs witch were perfectly cooked with its flavoured oil, and so well presented it felt like a work of art. Highly recommend for a relaxed morning brunch or a coffee break. I will come back to try the matcha tonic !

Matcha is awesome! ! ! ! It’s a bitter matcha, exactly like what you would drink in Taiwan! (The only drawback is probably that the price is on the high side, but I think it’s worth it🤌) Lemon cookies are surprisingly delicious. The body of the biscuit tastes very airy, and the lemon in the middle has moderate acidity. The overall taste is not greasy and is very layered. The interior decoration is very fashionable and the staff is very friendly. I would like to return and try some salty food in the future!

Special dishes for breakfast with depth and flavor and a wide choice of coffee. The atmosphere is good and friendly and great for breakfast or a cup of coffee.

Nice almond pancakes and focaccia pastrami

While Dune coffee may pass as a pompous, snobbish place, it's quite the opposite inside. Excellent service, well made food (I had the almond pancakes and an exquisite Yemenite coffee). Maarten (hope I'm spelling it right) patiently answered all my noob questions with a genuine smile, and I believe you'll get a similar experience since its seems to be the general atmosphere here. Had great time, food, and some work done!

So if youre stille trying to figure out what type of coffee bean you really like or are already an enthusiast then this is yhe perfect place to try out a bunch of varieties and preparation styles. And the food was Great!

Rotterdam coffee roaster for a delicious cup of coffee in any form you want. Choice of different beans and ways of making the coffee. Top place for coffee connoisseurs and a delicious homemade breakfast/lunch and pastries range. The only point for us was the location/atmosphere. A bit outdated and quite minimalist decorated but definitely worth a visit and we will definitely come back!

My favourite place to go for coffee and a snack on Rotterdam. My favourite snack is the miso sesame cookie or the banana bread with tahini honey butter

Bad service You can stay near the bar 5 min and they still ignore you. Even a simple hi would be nice but it is not the case in this place

Here you can have a special coffee experience: you choose your beans and the way you'd like your coffee: espresso, turbobloom, filter, with milk. The trubobloom method yields a great flavour experience! They also use Shokunin coffee which is already great. And then they have amazing cookies and delicious food 😋 It's becoming one of my favourite coffee places in town 🥳

I went there with my wife on a little “honeymoon” weekend. From looking at the maps at the time I had low expectations but it was some of the best coffee I have had. The amount of variety and quality of the beans and the way they make it. Missed the owner this time but Would love to go back when I’m in NL again.

Amazing coffee and very good brunch in an industrial cosy cafe! I really loved the focaccia with grilled aubergines and chicken! The addition of mushrooms on the top gave a very special flavour to the full dish! I will definitely be back soon!!!

Superior coffee, without a doubt the very best coffee I have found in all of Rotterdam. When Dune first opened, the menu did not yet have the quality of the coffee, but this has since been corrected: Original dishes, well prepared, that complement the coffees. Definitely recommended for anyone who likes very good, somewhat unique coffee, to then enjoy breakfast or brunch

Lovely laid back new addition to a boring street. Great coffee, tasty and original food. Service is kind, but could be more attentive and organised. Nice to see a place where the default is oat milk and cow milk the exception.

Simply one of the best coffee places in the Netherlands. The prices are okay and the coffee is amazing. There are loads of options to choose from on the food menu as well as the coffee menu. That right, they've got a coffee menu! My personal favourite would be the Don Roffa coffee. The staff is very friendly and the place is well decorated. The lighting could be a bit cosier. Parking nearby is easy and not that expensive.

A modern, even industrial/brutalist facility. It wasn't my taste, I find such a style cold. The food was really good! Freshly and quickly prepared. My partner didn't like the coffee; he said it tasted burnt/over-roasted.

Delicious! We had ordered the congee and pancakes, both tasted fantastic and were very filling, though the congee really stood out. It was full of flavour, plenty spicy. The maple mascarpone on the pancakes was a fantastic idea, maple syrup itself is a bit too sweet, but this was a perfect. Highly recommend trying them out.

Love the variety of coffee beans and preparation methods to choose from. Their (standard with oatmilk) cappuccino is surprisingly delicious for someone who is not a big fan of the majority of oatmilk-based coffee drinks. I enjoy their chocolate covered madeleines, but their miso cookie is quite the experience too!

Dune of one of my favorite places to come in the city. If you’re a coffee snob like my boyfriend, even better😉 We love trying new roasts here and the staff is knowledgeable about what is good for your tastes. They have a vegan pastry option which is nice, but recently I have been missing their vegan snicker’s bar which isn’t on the menu anymore. Either way, it’s a great atmosphere with special coffees made perfectly and if that’s not your jam, they still have something for everyone.

A gem in Rotterdam, just really good at what it tries to be. I had the rice porridge with egg yolk added - just really tasty. My mom had polenta with elderberries and (I think) pistachios, she also really enjoyed it. My dish was more savoury, hers was more sweet. We had a coffee and a cookie afterwards. Total price was €33 I believe. Great service, aesthetically appealing place, and the people who go here seem interesting too.

Excellent cappuccino and dessert

My first visit to Dune will certainly not be my last. Pleasant establishment. Although the white painted walls and fluorescent lamps on the ceiling make a sterile impression, the light intensity is not annoying and the acoustics of the place are also good. The coffee, in various varieties, is sublime. Sweets such as various cakes are freshly prepared on site and are very tasty. The lunch was excellent and without the annoying arugula filling, as you experience elsewhere. I feel comfortable here. Recommended.

It's a pity. Their beans are good but they have no idea how to calibrate & ratio for brewing a good espresso and even filter coffee is bad. Espresso would be extremely sour and filter coffee very waterish.
