Wat een leuke tent is dit! Met vrienden hier heerlijk ontbeten en ze hebben heerlijke koffie! Ook de lekkernijen uit eigen bakkerij zijn super!! Soms moet je even wachten, omdat iedereen hier heen wil maar dat is het zeker waard en de doorloop gaat vrij snel. Super aardig personeel, veelal in het Engels

Probably the best bakery in Rotterdam

Cozy place, enthusiastic staff. Double espresso was served delayed, so it was no longer really hot and the crema layer had collapsed. Tea beautifully served in a glass jug, but I prefer to decide how strong I want to drink it. Almond croissant was delicious.

The positives first...the dough and pattiserie are incomparable to what you can get elsewhere. This is really delicious and much better than other bakeries. Unfortunately, this doesn't save the case. Every time I have visited this place I have felt unwanted. It's always busy, noisy and the manager ? Apparently there's no point in it. If you come here just before closing time, you are out of luck because even if there is stuff left over, you will not be helped. If you come here around noon, everything is often sold out and you are also out of luck. How is that possible? Then something goes wrong with the business operations or working method if you are open until 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM and you have to say No at 1:30 PM? Then make sure you employ more people and keep baking. Especially because customer service appears to be the most important thing here. The most important point of criticism for me is the hospitality. If that changes and if you can offer the products until closing time, then this business will be in an exceptional category.

Good atmosphere, delicious special espresso and great food. You don't need more words.

Nice and cozy bakery. There is always a queue to be seated in the morning. The breakfast is nothing special, just good, but bakery is on other level, you must try it.

Hip lunch room. Food was delicious but not much choice or variety. Bread is divine. The coffee was very bitter and sour. Personally, just a bit too hip for me.

I visited this shop on a recommendation because they know that I prefer to drink coffee in which I can taste the love in the entire process from bean to coffee. I ordered a Pour Over (Ethiopia Daye Bensa Washed) and my wife a cappuccino. I could see from the lady behind the bar that she paid full attention to her work and carried out her work with passion. She clearly wasn't there just to make a living, she works to please herself and others. The coffee I received had all the elements you hope for, including the passion and love for the profession. I got goosebumps when I tasted my coffee. What a sensation. I personally thanked the barista, but here it is again. I haven't had better coffee than this in a week in Rotterdam. A must for true enthusiasts to go here. Oh yes, according to my wife the cappuccino was according to the book and therefore perfect.

Exceptional coffe I said bravo for the coffe 3 times to the service people . They were very helpful polite and quick. I tried the saffron and pear crunch ( pastry) wow . It will be even better a bit warm . We also ordered pumpkin with dutch mozzarella and mushrooms . ⚡ And some eggs on sourdough bread . Everything tasty . Especially the bread . Very good job to all of them .

Worth the hype!! I feel very blessed to be living near this cafe, and I will be visiting more often in the future. The canelés here are absolutely delicious! The place has a nice vibe. Although the barista got my coffee order wrong twice, the drink I ended up with was very tasty. I walked past Harvest Cafe & Bakery on a Sunday afternoon and there was a long line I wasn't willing to wait in. But the amount of people makes a lot of sense when you try their coffee and pastries!

Delicious food with a unique twist. Staff was super sweet and the food was ready quickly. The coffee is the best coffee I have ever had, the first time I could actually taste the air-picked flavors of the beans in the coffee. In general, definitely recommended. :)

The food was good, i would recommend their specials, which are extraordinary and delicious. My family found their croissants average. The waitress urged us to try a new type of coffee which tasted weird. There is usually an incredibly long line if you visit in the weekends but it flows quickly. Because there is a line, we felt like we were rushed to eat and leave. Overall it is a good choice for breakfast although it is not relaxing and calm at all.

Extremely loud and crowded place for a Sunday breakfast, the loud music doesn’t seem the best choice for such a busy place. For sure not a relaxing atmosphere. You will also smell like food when you leave the place. If you sit at the windows there is a strong cold draft blowing from the windows directly at your back. The baked goods are surely high quality.

Easily one of my top 3 breakfast places I've ever been to. From the moment you walk in, the bakery catches your eye and you can immediately see the craftsmanship that goes into making all the delicious food they serve. Once sat, you catch a glimpse of the barista making perfect flat whites with the precision of a chemist that measures everything within a fraction of a gram. Lastly, when the food arrives, you realise that these folks quite simply reinvented breakfast. We had the french toast with pork belly, and our minds were blown. The coffee was perfect, the service was efficient yet friendly. Lastly, the setting is beautiful, right by the water but without making a gimmick out of it. Would recommend this place to anyone who visits Rotterdam and wants the best breakfast (possibly ever).

Delicious breads and trendy international popular cafe. You have to wait a bit until you get a place. Water view possible. There is also a small bakery. Lots of choice of coffee.

You won't find better coffee anywhere in the Netherlands. The lunch and pastries are also a 10/10! Moreover, friendly service. Recommended if you are in the area.

In my opinion it’s a bit overrated. Have to wait in line before you can even come for a mediocre croissant was really not worth the wait.

I'd love to give it 1 star to make less people come but this place, the people, THE FOOD and the view are all amazing enough for it to be my go-to unwind breakfast place almost every weekend.

I visited this coffee bar, and unfortunately, my experience was not pleasant. The smell coming from the kitchen, especially the strong odor of pork, was overwhelming. It was so intense that it filled the entire bar, and I could even smell it on my clothes after leaving. While I understand that food odors can be part of the atmosphere, this was a bit too much and made the visit uncomfortable. I hope they can find a way to manage the kitchen smells better in the future, as I do enjoy their coffee, but this experience will make me hesitant to return.

Wonderful little place to have brunch, food was excellent. Make sure you come early enough, if you are planning to have lunch there, we arrived at 11.30 and grabbed the last table. By the time we left there was a queue outside.

It wasn't bad but far from the hype! Coffee was ok, I've really had better specialty coffee in Rotterdam. I was really disappointed with the food, plain layout and weird taste. If you are alone you won't get a nice table, you actually sit quite awkwardly at the bar with a lot of walking past and next to you... the pastries looked good, I think I should have taken those...

I would like to congratulate Rotterdam and the surrounding area as a whole with this heaven on earth! We got the jitters for a moment when there was a line out the door, but this store is totally worth it! After a short wait we were helped very neatly and quickly by the friendly staff. Secret tip: if you sit at the bar, a wonderful smell passes by every time the barista makes a cup. Put it to the test: that coffee not only smells good, but also tastes fantastic. This also applies to the tea and the dishes we ate: savory toast with pork belly, sauerkraut and egg and fried beans, sausages and a fantastic salad with lentils, buckwheat chicory. Very nice that there is something to choose from if you have to temporarily eat low-carb due to circumstances (gestational diabetes) 🫠👌 At the exit we still gave in to two fantastic pastries, because sometimes you have to make exceptions. We were very happy with ours: with pear and pumpkin, really DELICIOUS. Afterwards we read online that they also work with all kinds of great suppliers here. Cool! We fervently hope and pray for a branch with us in Arnhem, but until then we will definitely come back here! Douze points guys, what luck ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cute view of the river, a hidden brunch gem, and worth waiting in line for! 1. The pear muesli was beautifully balanced and enjoyable even if you don't have a sweet tooth. 2. The savoury French toast was divine. 3. The sausage croissant was the best croissant I've ever had in my life! 4. The fig danish and muffin was tasty but too sweet for my liking.

It's a very popular place, we waited in line but it was worth it. Their coffee is very delicious. The difference in quality is clearly visible. I also liked the Danish cheesecake very much.

The sourdough bread was way too sour, and eggs on toast were a bit plain and boring. The waiter asked us to wait outside for a spot even though it was pouring rain. We were the only ones waiting so I asked if we could wait inside because it was raining like crazy but apparently that made the shop too busy. The pastries were really good though.

My friends and I had high expectations for Harvest Café, but unfortunately our experience was anything but positive. We had to wait a very long time for a simple chocolate croissant, and when it was finally served, it wasn't even what we had hoped for - there was hardly any chocolate in it. This was already disappointing, but the bad experience was further exacerbated by the unfriendly and unenthusiastic employees. It seemed like they were not enjoying their work at all and this was certainly noticeable. In addition, I wanted to take a photo of my croissant to share on my TikTok, but instead of a positive reaction I got strange looks, which made the atmosphere even more awkward. In short, the long waiting time, the disappointing food and the unfriendly service make this a place we will definitely not return to. I hope management takes this feedback seriously so others don't have to have the same experience.

We visited their place for breakfast/brunch on a Sunday. + The coffee is excellent 👌🏼 the pastries are very good too (especially cruffins or danish) but cruffins had way too much sugar coating around them. Service is great! For the minuses -the savory things very a bit disappointing - eggs Benedict with beetroot were nice but too acidic... The seasonal pumpkin pie was good taste but inside was too much beef fat instead of meat

Don’t snooze on this gem—it opens at 9 a.m., and by 9:20, we snagged the last table. After that? A line so long it could’ve been a red carpet. The first thing to hit you when you walk in? A jaw-dropping display of baked goods, each one basically whispering, “Eat me.” Kicked things off with a stellar flat white (always a green flag when they nail that), then came the main dishes: delicious, generous, gorgeous, and absolutely satisfying. Oh, and did I mention the killer view of the docks and water? Chef’s kiss all around. Would 100% come back—and this time, maybe at 9 sharp. ☕️🍴✨

Cannot fault this place. Excellent service, delicious food, fantastic portions and the flavors are incredible. We were a table of 3 and took a bit of time to find a table but we were updated regularly by Oscar and the wait didn’t feel long because of this. Grateful for such a beautiful soul. The eggs Benedict was lovely. Had beetroot and horseradish and was delicious. Although the bacon was a bit salty but the extra flavors made beautifully different. The beans are lovely and the mushrooms are also a delicious add on. The food was incredible that i cant remember the coffee. I that a bottle of water was at every table. We went on a Saturday morning and there was a wait of about 20minutes. There’s a pastry corner for takeaways and their toilets are clean. Thumbs up to the team for great service. Went on a Sunday, had to wait in line for 45 minutes. Place is really popular, the food lives (kinda) up to it. Went with the bread, omelet and hash browns for food. They are amazing on itself, but together I found it ok but not amazing. Keep in mind that for 2 people we paid 33 euros including an Americano and cappuccino, and 2x the food order. It’s a little bit overpriced for what you get. However, if you’re looking for good quality food and good coffee, don’t skip this place.

Had lunch there the 1st day we arrived in Rotterdam. The queue was long when we arrived at 2:15pm so our expectations were high and we weren't disappointed. The mains were good and the pastries were exceptional but what stood out more than anything were the foh gent, and the female servers. They were friendly and warm. As we were tired from our travels, my husband had left behind an envelope with all our Euro cash. Luckily when he returned the next morning. the staff had kindly returned the money to us. Thanks again for your honesty and integrity. You really deserve your great reputation.

I came here for an early brunch and it was a nice experience. I started with two exotic espressos and a glass of carrot and ginger juice. The coffee was flavorful and punchy and the juice was fresh and rejuvenating. Then came the scrambled egg with sourdough bread with a side of mushrooms and lentils with greens and goat cheese. All of the savory dishes were delicious, made with nice ingredients and well presented. The eggs also kept a nice and fluffy texture. Tap water was served frequently and was on the house which was a nice touch. I ended with a take away of two pastries, the pistachio cruffin and and the Spandauer with pear and almonds. The cruffin was fine but the other pastry was delightful. In total I paid close to 40 euros for everything but this served as both a breakfast and lunch for me and I felt full until dinner. The service levels are very nice and the staff is friendly. This place is I think closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and is usually full during the morning. Be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes to be seated on most days in the morning. Overall I'd rate this place as very good and with more spacious seating and less waiting time before getting a table id easily rate this 5 stars on every aspect. Great high quality food and service, coffee is good but not great. Prices could be better. Nice place with a view as well but gets too hot, stuffy and noisy when crowded. I wish they improve this. There’s usually a line but as far as I’ve seen it moves fast.

Okay, I like it. It is my favourite place for an English-style breakfast in Rotterdam. It is very good. It is one of the rare places in the Netherlands where I feel that the price is worth what I have in return. Altho to don't really the cafe. I don't know why. Since i bought a mokkamaster at home, i feel it saucer everywhere.. But anyway. I love the harvest.

I've driven past it several times and there's always a line out the door. Just try it once to see if it's worth queuing for. And I get it. Delicious to eat and coffee tastes good. It's just a shame that the serving and ordering went very wrong. We got the cruffins first, then I only got my flat white when my cruffin was 2/3 gone. After my wife and I finished our cruffins and I finished my flat white. And almost 10 minutes later, my wife only got her cappuccino. We were about to leave the tent. Too bad it had to turn out this way.

Went there on a Friday afternoon. Usually there’s a line but it does not take long to get seated. Ordered a pour over, pumpkin & mozzarella served with focaccia and some pastries. It’s quite noisy inside but overall we enjoyed our visit.

I met up with a friend, and we eagerly wanted a nice brunch spot to catch up and chat. This is a quaint local spot, that is understated on the outside and bustling within. Needless to say, this was nothing short of perfection. With a curated menu of explosive flavor and a myriad of pastries to indulge in, the seasonal fig pastry was amazing, and the carrot juice! They have nailed balance.

Delicious lunch, great service. The strange thing is that twice my table companion had already finished her coffee before my cappuccino arrived. This can happen due to the crowds of course. Food was great, super good bread and the other products are also of very high quality. I didn't like the atmosphere in the shop. A lot of people in a very small space with little atmosphere and loud music. Coat goes with you to the table, which makes you even more cramped in an already too tight spot between the table and the window. But the food and the great service make up for that, very friendly and nice service, so we will definitely come back.
