Me and my wife have been eating from here to the past 4 years and it is the best snack bar in Amsterdam.

Very tasty! Juicy burgers, crispy fries and a nice atmosphere by the window overlooking the street. Perfect place for lunch or a quick snack. Heel lekker! This man lives his ikigai. The fries are crispy, not too pale, and the service is top-notch. And the price is great too!

Great atmosphere in the little shop! We walked in and he greeted us with a fries to go for each of us. He spoke German and said they were the best in Amsterdam. He was right. The prices are really fair, and you get a lot for your money. The fries were, no joke, legendary. Perhaps the best I've ever eaten. The chicken wings were absolutely delicious. The doner meat wasn't good, though, I have to say. But the dürüm was also incredibly cheap. The four of us ate completely full for €37. We'd love to go back!

The owner is nice, there's a good atmosphere and the fries are really good...however he doesn't know how to make burgers and he cooks everything on the same plate so the beef tastes like chicken/kebab/cooking oil...horrible...but the rest is okay.

We recently visited the Eatopia snack bar, and our experiences were somewhat mixed. It must be said that the quality of the fries and frikandels was excellent; crispy on the outside and tasty on the inside. The regular croquettes also more than met expectations. Unfortunately, other parts of the order were less appealing. The cheese soufflé gave the impression of being fried twice, which significantly diminished the flavor. Furthermore, the peanut sauce, which we specifically ordered, was completely missing. To make matters worse, neither a croquette sandwich nor a frikandel were delivered. Ridiculous! Furthermore, we ordered the frikandel special three times, but what we received was nothing more than a plain frikandel, without any trace of sauce or onions, which obviously undermines the essence of the dish. All things considered: the food, which was correctly delivered, was excellent, but the sloppiness and lack of care detract from the overall experience. Therefore, a three-star rating.

What a great place! The owner is super friendly, always with a smile. If you're a regular, he even knows what you usually order – very personal and welcoming. The fries are freshly cut and perfectly cooked: nice and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The chicken thighs in the chicken dish are well-marinated and delicious. The price-quality ratio is excellent. For what you pay, you get truly top-quality food. Highly recommended!

They sell good food, you can order yourself on the machine or give the verbal order directly to the counter to the cook! Right placed on the roadside, easy to find. You can even order what they don't have on the menu!!

So tasty! Fries are homemade - almost like chunky potato wedges. Chicken durum is zo lekker! The man working there is also very friendly. Great value for money!

Super nice gentleman who even spoke German very well. We went there because we were looking for a delicious dinner near our hotel. Thanks to the very good, positive recessions we have made our way there. I really wanted to eat “Dutch” fries. He said they were better than in Germany and they were great. As well as the baked cheese (I have no idea what it's called in Dutch) and the kebab Dürum were simply to die for. Super good portions for an incredibly strong price. Fast, fresh preparation and we discovered that you can even have the fantastic food delivered to you. The premises are very small, but big enough to have a beer and chips there. We'd love to come back as soon as we're nearby.

Top price-performance ratio! Very friendly and courteous service staff. It can be ordered at the counter and paid for by card. We were there right at opening time, so it took a while for the oil to get hot. The fries were really tasty, crispy and well salted! Maybe a little too little sauce for the large fries, but still very tasty!

I live right near the place and am a regular. I can say beyond the food, the one and only guy/manager working is always courteous, smiling, efficient, and consistent in quality. HE HAS THE BEST CHICKEN STRIPS IN TOWN. This place might just beat the taco place next door in terms of service.

8/10 One of the best durum doners in Amsterdam with very good fries but unfortunately not salty. You might have to ask for "not spicy" if you want to actually feel the taste of the dishes, rather than just pepper. The man making the food is hardworking, sweating without rest, but still keeps a smile on his face. The place is small, people often wait outside.

Best snack bar I've ever had. Haven't lived there for years but never found anything that even came close. In quality of the food but also service / involvement of the owner. If you live around here and this is not your standard snack bar then you are really missing out.

Man is friendly, vegie burger is the tastiest vegie burger I've ever eaten. And I've been eating nothing but veggie burgers for 5 years. Fries also more than tasty. And there is ABBA music. What more could a person want?

Seriously, the best snackbar. The kapsalon was delicious, fries were tasty, and the pimento was the best frikandel I had in Amsterdam. The owner is very friendly and will suggest to you his homemade specialty if you ask (go for it, it's good) The place is small but the park is just around the corner, perfect for a picnic when the sun is out!

Wat een super leuk knus eettentje. Het eten wordt met zoveel liefde bereidt en de eigenaar is heel aardig! Patat is vers gesneden van echte aardappels, elke ochtend weer!! Zoveel heerlijke keuzes!!!

Zeer gastvrije snackbarhouder. Hij vraagt of alles naar wens is. Het restaurantje is klein maar schoon. Prima muziek, lekker eten, leuk uitzicht op het gajes dat aan komt en vertrekt met de bus. Ik loop er voor om om hier een frietje te eten.

Me and my girlfriend love coming here, because of the great food and the nice owner. Especially the fries and the home made garlic sauce are the best. In response to Mian Dengs review, we were there when it happend and it went nothing like how she described it. She was very rude and didn't want to understand that there were a few online orders before hers. We were the order that supposedly went before hers, but our order wasn't even finished. The owner only asked if we wanted it for take-away or eat in. She didn't want to wait 2 more minutes while the owner was working his ass off during peak hours. He had to throw the food away and she got here money back. Eatopia is the best snackbar in Bos & Lommer, so don't be put off by this misplaced review!

Raph the owner runs this great little place all by himself. Always super friendly and welcoming, there are plenty of tasty treats to choose from. And all reasonably priced. If you’re not sure what to get, try the Kip kapsalon (spicy if you’re into that stuff).
