Simply enjoying... delicious food.

Very cozy and delicious food. The host was friendly and took the time for a chat when possible. We were away for a weekend, and the name appealed to us. The name really suits Echt Genieten 😜

The food and service were perfect. Friendly service!

We had a wonderful time! They handle allergies incredibly well, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Our twins (almost 3 years old) received children's cutlery and plates. The food itself was really delicious and the portions were truly generous. Highly recommended!

A spacious restaurant with indoor seating. The staff was warm and helpful, making you feel at ease. The menu includes starters, main courses, and desserts, and if you wish, you can create a three-course meal for 42 euros, which we did. The starter, the carpaccio, was delicious. The pasta dish was good, but perhaps a little runny in the sauce; I prefer a thicker one. We also ordered a Pornstar Martini; I'm not a fan of that drink, but my companions said it was okay. It's easy to converse, and there's free parking next to the restaurant.

We ordered an iced coffee here, and it was undrinkable. A shame. The latte macchiato without whipped cream was delivered with whipped cream.

When traveling with young kids, my challenge is always the same: finding a place to eat that’s both a treat for the grown-ups and truly kid-friendly. And honestly — Echt Genieten was a gem of a discovery! On the practical side: • Changing table available • Several high chairs (not just one — we counted four, which is smart if you come with a group) • Kids’ placemat doubles as a coloring set • Plastic plates and cutlery — so much easier to relax when you don’t have to worry about breaking anything On the atmosphere: We were warmly welcomed by a dynamic, friendly team. The interior? Bold and cozy at the same time — dark green tones mixed with modern wallpaper create a really inviting vibe. Spotless clean. From the outside, I would never have guessed the place had such charm inside! On the food: What a joy to find a place with carefully crafted dishes… and yet so accommodating for families with young children. The Caesar salad dressing? Unique and refreshing — quite unexpected. The crispy chicken sandwich? The combination of grapes and coleslaw sounded strange but turned out perfectly balanced. And the club sandwich… a classic, but revisited with real creativity and flavor. Definitely worth discovering!

For the price you pay for a main course, the food is quite poor and tastes a bit bland. What is also no longer acceptable is serving food on a broken plate. If a plate is broken, throw it away immediately. The food here used to be much better.

What a great experience at "Echt Genieten" in Echt! We had a wonderful dinner there and everything was just right. The atmosphere on the terrace was relaxed and stylish — a nice place to end the day. As a main course I chose the chicken safe, and it tasted really delicious: perfectly prepared, well seasoned and beautifully presented. The absolute highlight was the dessert: the Omelette Sibérienne. Not only a feast for the taste buds, but also beautifully presented — highly recommended! What made the dinner complete was the service. Our waiter was friendly, professional and clearly enjoyed his work. He served us with so much attention and care, as if we were royal visitors. In short: at "Echt Genieten" you do the name justice.

27062025: reserved for a dinner with family at Echt Genieten. After the tables and chairs were put together, friendly help from the employees. Due to a wifi problem, the tablet did not work, so the order was noted on the 'old-fashioned' writing pad. We had a nice meal and enjoyed it on the terrace thanks to the sun and the temperature.

Op een maandag (23 juni) bezochten we voor een lunch dit restaurant. Vriendelijke bediening en met een menukaart die voor ons meer dan voldoende keus had. Lunch was met verse ! producten bereid , Dat proef je. Prijskwaliteit verhouding prima en zeker in deze dure horeca tijden. Je kunt goed parkeren. Inrichting licht houten en draagt ook bij tot gemoedelijke Limburgse sfeer. Veel tafels. Een bezoek om te onthouden. Oh ja.....toilet ook verzorgd en fris. .

Really Enjoying, that was for sure. What nice people and lots of good quality food. Enjoyed our visit so much. You sit alone with few people, that does something to the atmosphere, besides the fact that it is located at a crossroads. But that did not spoil our enjoyment!

Enjoyed a delicious lunch. We both had something different, very tasty and sufficient. Menu card looks good, wide choice. Cozy location, chairs are excellent and staff is very helpful and friendly. The coffee was nice and hot. We will definitely come back.

Echt Genieten lives up to its name: it is truly enjoyable. Generous portions, a delicious snack platter with local and varied bread, and you can easily order a bottle of wine with it. Atmospheric restaurant in Echt where you will be welcomed in a friendly manner. The staff will do everything they can to ensure you have a relaxed and tasteful evening. Everything met our expectations. Excellent price-quality ratio. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to dine in a relaxed and informal setting. Don't forget to make a reservation!

The food was reasonable but far too little for a normal eater

The price quality ratio is very bad For a small eater just enough but an average eater has absolutely not enough. Reported this to the service but reacted very nonchalantly and no reaction from the kitchen.

Went for lunch this afternoon and was a bit disappointing. It took a while before we got a menu, but once we ordered the food came quickly! I ordered the wrap with chicken and coleslaw, and got a wrap with a fried 'chicken' (was more like a kind of chicken corn) and a very saucy coleslaw. The taste wasn't that bad. But if you thought you were eating something nutritious, you better order something else!

Koffie is oké en ook de prijs. Echter appeltaart besteld, kom in eerste instantie alleen met ijs, we houden niet van ijs. Dus zonder ijs graag maar wel slagroom. Slagroom was een toetje uit spuitbus. Appeltaart was een kleine Appelcarree. Smaak was goed. Echter bij het afrekenen moesten we €14 betalen voor 2 kleine stukjes appelcarree met nep slagroom. Hier komen we dus nooit meer weer

The food is really delicious, nothing to complain about, but in our case the service was downright bad. The ladies paid no attention to us and we had to ask for everything ourselves: drinks, the menu, can we order something, etc. During dessert, my table companion even got up and walked to the bar and asked if we could order. That can and must be improved!

The coffee is tasty, but it could be a bit warmer. The staff is friendly, but we were overlooked and only helped after sitting inside for a while. The interior is very cozy!

Normally I only go here for a business lunch. Always good!! Now opted for dinner. It was very quiet in the shop on Friday evening. Totally incomprehensible because it was really GREAT. Very friendly lady (I think she is of Russian descent, judging by the nice accent) and the quality of the food was way above average. Highly recommended.

Delicious food on beautifully presented plates. Nice atmosphere in terms of decoration. Staff may just pay a little more attention to customers. It takes quite a while before they come to you again (if you want to order something) and if they make a little more eye contact it is just a little easier. There is also confusion when you go to pay and have to indicate where you have been sitting. This can also be prevented if they make a little more customer contact.

Nice thing. Some clumsy young waitress, and ate a freshly frozen pulled pork sandwich.

Standard ingredients, not refined. Unprofessional service. Operation should be of service instead of a modern approach. With a coffee and tea for which you pay €4 each, you expect at least a cookie/chocolate. Atmosphere is okay.

3 gangen diner voor mijn personeelsuitje was op en top verzorgd. Het samengestelde menu voldeed aan iedereens dieetwensen, was erg lekker en ook nog eens niet alledaags. Uitserveren voor de hele groep (12) was bij iedere gang tegelijk en de cuisson was ook bij ieder bord gelijk. Naast het lekkere eten, ook prettige bediening die ons meer dan genoeg aandacht gaven en we geen lege glazen hadden. Het was een top afsluiting voor onze dag.

We zijn op deze locatie al meerdere keren geweest met de start of tussenstop van een van onze evenementen. Altijd vriendelijke medewerkers, ook als het druk is met een brede glimlach. We komen hier graag omdat we ons altijd welkom voelen. Ook de invulling van hapjes en dranken zijn iedere keer prima verzorgd. Deze locatie is aan te bevelen.

Een gewone vrijdagochtend en 30 van de 70 plaatsen zaten vol. O.a. dames clubjes die uitbundig lachend bij elkaar kwamen. 90% bekenden voor personeel wat plaatsen uitdeelde. Ergens zou signaal “vol” moeten worden gegeven. Nog voor lunchtijd uit. Genoeg personeel, goede houding, verwen koffies en broodjes etc etc. Nuttige plek en belonend voor klanten en personeel. Wat ook onderling gemoedelijk met elkaar werkten. Ik gun ieder zo’n plek in de nabijheid.

Zeer goed gegeten, vriendelijke bediening 👌🏻. Leuke locatie. Komen hier zeker nog een keertje terug. Zowel de vis als ook de Pulled Pork Burger, waren goed van smaak. 😋

The menu is good and varied with sufficient veggie options. The food and presentation are excellent. The link with sustainability is absolutely visible. The service certainly has room for improvement. I have left that complaint, nevertheless I will definitely go back.

We were only able to make a last minute reservation on a Saturday evening for 7 people. Still very friendly and we were able to go straight away. Really nice. Upon arrival I asked for fireworks with dessert for my nephew's birthday. That was no problem either. And also a delicious, tasty meal. Had a really great evening.

Tasty but I ordered something without it but I got it

I had lunch here because I saw that it was gluten-free. Opted for a carpaccio sandwich. Unfortunately, dry slices of gluten-free bread were chosen, while there are so many tastier alternatives available. This is also given as a tip during checkout. Carpaccio itself was very tasty, eaten separately from the bread as it was canceled out by the bread.

Wij zijn hier gaan lunchen. Helaas hebben ze niet meer zo’n uitgebreide menukaart als vroeger. Ook de smaak was niet heel bijzonder te noemen. Personeel was wel vriendelijk. Al met al niet slecht, maar zeker ook niks bijzonders. Volgende keer gaan we toch liever ergens anders lunchen.

€10.25 for a salmon sandwich. €10.25 ??? Yes: €10.25! Ordered a salmon sandwich for the road. Tasty sandwich: salmon salad, lettuce and pickle slices. Employees are friendly. But I personally think €10.25 for a sandwich is too high a price.

I ordered egg benedict without salmon. I got egg Benedict with salmon. I received a new one as indicated. 1 minute (crazy?). New plate different color and warm, but it still smelled and tasted like salmon and then I found a small piece of salmon among the food. So they just take the salmon out and quickly put it on another plate. Indicated that I did not have to eat anything anymore. People should really be ashamed.

Delicious dinner in very cozy warm restaurant. Staff were lovely and service a good pace. We had dinner there and ordered dorade and hamburger and both tasty, good quality and quantity. Very reasonably priced too. Parking convenient behind the restaurant. Highly recommend when in the area.

Na een wandeling zijn we hier gaan lunchen. We hadden graag de lunch combi willen proberen. Echter bij de vraag of we iets konden wisselen tegen een meerprijs werd er door de (mannelijke) medewerker vrij bot 3x nee gezegd. Bij navraag bij de (vrouwelijke) collega gaf zij aan dat de chef hier niet blij van wordt. Vreemd dat je je klanten niet tegemoet komt. Maar zij gaf wél een uitleg. Uiteindelijk iets anders besteld en dit smaakte prima. Ik zal hier vw de houding van de mannelijke collega niet snel terugkomen.

De ontvangst was vriendelijk. Voorafgaand aan de wandeling kregen cappuccino met tiramisu. De afsluitende borrelplank met bier en hapjes was ook erg lekker en goed verzorgd. Minpunt was de wandeling die we op een bepaald moment hebben moeten verlaten i.v.m. de onbegaanbaarheid van het traject. Gelukkig waren we redelijk bekend met de omgeving en konden we onze weg terugvinden aan de hand van de bijgeleverde plattegrond. Een andere wandelroute zou wenselijk zijn.

Leuke lunchplek met leuke kaart, voor elk wat wils maar ook gerechtjes die je niet zo snel tegenkomt! Vlotte bediening en mooie inrichting, aanrader!

Voor het eerst gaan dineren bij Echt Genieten. Al vaker van gehoord, maar nog niet eerder geweest. Vleesplankje van Livar is echt een aanrader. Kipsaté was de special. Smaakte prima. Het toetje was een verrassing en echt heerlijk. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. De eigenaar kwam zelf ook nog even langs de tafel.

Lekker eten, mooie presentatie, maar kleine porties. Buikje vol eten is zeer kostelijk. Bediening is wel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Niets lijkt te veel gevraagd.

Wij kwamen hier onverwacht voor de lunch. Er werd moeite gedaan ons aan een plekje in de schaduw op het terras te helpen. Vervolgens heerlijk gegeten met een opengewerkte wrap met avocado, garnalen en mango. Helaas vergeten foto te maken... 🥴 Erg prettige man in de bediening. Toppertje!

Tja dubbel, de gerechten met zalm waren prima. Mijn truffelburger viel tegen. Het terras moet een opknapbeurt krijgen. Veel onkruid en de plantenbakken hebben aandacht, lees water nodig. De bediening deed zijn stinkende best, maar kwam geforceerd over. We zijn er regelmatig voor de lunch geweest, dat beviel telkens prima. Kom zeker nog eens terug, maar hoop wel dat mijn review hun helpt

Goed gegeten tegen een goede prijs. Snelheid van de bediening ligt aan de lage kant.

Nettes Restaurant mit gutem Essen. Preise etwas zu hoch für meinen Geschmack. Service war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Habe sogar etwas veganes bekommen. Lage ist an der Straßenkreuzung zum Draußensitzen nicht optimal.

Heerlijke maaltijdsalade gegeten met kip. Helaas geen tonijnsalade op het menu. Mijn tafelgenoot had een salade scampi's. Was ook heerlijk.

Prima plek voor een gezellige lunch. Je kunt zowel binnen als buiten reserveren. Reserveer je niet kun je pech hebben. Niet de goedkoopste, maar waar is dat wel nog…!

Vriendin kado gedaan voor haar eerste moederdag om samen met ons zoontje en haar moeder daar te gaan lunchen. Ze waren super tevreden over het lekkere eten en de vriendelijke bediening. Bedankt aan iedereen van Echt genieten voor deze prachtige moederdag.
