Delicious food, friendly service and very cozy

For many years now, this has been a fantastic restaurant for delicious food and drinks.

I initially came with two acquaintances, and later, after that wonderful experience, I returned with my boyfriend. I find the food at De Witte honest and delicious. The service is also excellent: everything arrives on time, is prepared according to your wishes, and the staff really listens to their customers, which I really appreciate. The prices are also very reasonable for a restaurant of this quality. I highly recommend this restaurant. They are truly top-notch in my opinion!

We had a delicious lunch, it was pleasantly busy, and the staff was friendly! We didn't have to wait long for the food and drinks!

We organized a surprise party and received full cooperation from De Witte. We were given our own private corner and were allowed to hang streamers, balloons, etc. Delicious food and drinks at a reasonable price. Friendly and cheerful service. In short: EXCELLENT!

Nice atmosphere, good food, recommended

The music was so loud at our table that we couldn't even hear each other and went home practically deaf. It's a real shame; we don't think music should be the dominant sound when dining out. It's a real shame. The food and service were excellent!

The service was reasonably friendly. It was pleasantly busy. The food took a long time to arrive. It was truly awful, waaaaay overpriced, and very little. My husband was sick all night and ate a burger. I had the veggie burger. It tasted chemically, was not good, and didn't come with any vegetables. We spent €48 for two burgers and two drinks. We'll never eat again. Poor value for money.

Our regular spot, we love coming here, whether for lunch, dinner or a drink, it's always good!!

I had delicious spare ribs. They also have a wide selection of specialty beers. I also liked the decor. It gave me a warm feeling. It was also quite busy, which tells you they're doing a good job. And I didn't have to wait long for my food. Wheelchair accessibility could be better, but it was doable.

Great!! A quick lunch in De Lier. Well, it turned out to be a relaxed lunch, a lovely, leisurely sandwich. The atmosphere is great, the service is excellent and friendly, and the sandwich was delicious. We'll be back 👍🏼

I was able to celebrate my 70th birthday with friends and family. We had a shareware dinner with plenty of drinks. Highly recommended. The quality and service were top-notch.

A cozy place with a great atmosphere in a nice spot. The staff was super friendly and the drinks were brought quickly. However, the food took a while, and when we inquired about it, the waitress said something had gone wrong. It happens. The portions were a bit meager, and I personally didn't like the sauce on the spareribs (we ordered all three flavors), but my friends were impressed, and the meat was tender. After dinner, no one came by to order more, which was disappointing. Based on this experience alone, I wouldn't return here for dinner, but it seems like a great place for drinks.

Great for a snack and drink! Only too busy that a chicken satay is served more than an hour after the baguette. Be careful that your success does not become your downfall.

Eating out in your own village. Completely gold. Update 17-11-2024: still full swing at De Witte. The Twaalfuurtje Deluxe is recommended, even though I would have liked some firmer bread with it. 😁 In short: nice team, good atmosphere, hard workers, I would love to come back here!

A delicious 12 hour meal. Well stocked plate, fast service And certainly customer friendly. The white one is definitely recommended for young and old all year round.

Delicious food. Beforehand we shared the charcuterie platter and breakable bread. Large portion! I had the Babette skewer: delicious. The schnitzel, steak and pork tenderloin were also excellent.

Went there with our two children.. you couldn't make a reservation.. we were supposed to come over like that.. got a walk-through table with the children.. difficult to be near the toilet.. the wait staff were a bit annoyed and stressed.. the food was Delicious when you weren't allowed to choose everything at lunchtime... overall ok

Always good here. Lots of it and delicious...and fun, what more could you want. Adjusted dated 16-07-24 The spare ribs have become mini portions, the regular ones are now called spare ribs xl .....dame blanche also smaller, actually everything, number of stars also 3 smaller 😀

Delicious food...great service and quietly enjoying the starter without having to put down the main course right away.

Finding the entrance was somewhat confusing, not just for us I saw. There is no parking space, so you have to see if you can go in the residential area. Smooth & friendly service. Spacious case Food was served quickly (hamburger and chicken satay). Unfortunately, the hamburger had a somewhat overpowering “perfume” taste, like fried onions. There were doubts as to whether the chicken satay was actually chicken (dark in color/dry/stiff). Everyone has their own taste, but for us these menus are no longer necessary.

It was a sunny day so the atmosphere was OK anyway. This is a no frills eatery. Super tasty bouncers. If you are taking a bike ride in the Westland, this is a great place for lunch. Friendly, non-pushy service. Food prices very reasonable. I thought the drinks were a bit too expensive.

The food was fine. The starter was a loaf of bread. possibly with sprinkles ;) I had the spare ribs. They fell off the bone, but the waiter also told me that, I am stubborn. It was fine to eat, but my preference is not to chew. Next time I think I'll have a schnitzel. My sister took bavette satay skewers, which were certainly tasty. Dessert was a Dame Blanche and something from the chef called pancakes, which was also very tasty A small minus is parking the car. Music was good . Location is also good.

On Saturday evening we had dinner with the family at De Witte in De Lier. Very cozy place, although the tables are very close together. There were 3 people who ordered pork tenderloin. This one was really, really dry. The fries were well fried, but with a lot of salt. Had to ask twice about the drinks that we ordered for the 2nd round and which did not arrive. Too bad, no more De Witte in De Lier for us.
