What a great place on the water! Eetcafé Hier is het is really recommended. The location on the water is beautiful and creates a relaxed atmosphere. The coffee is delicious, the food is top quality and the staff is incredibly friendly. Whether you come by for a drink or an extensive dinner, you immediately feel welcome here. Definitely a place to come back more often!

Just had dinner here and the food was delicious, high quality and friendly staff. The cup of coffee was lovely and relaxing. The view of the water is perfect for an afternoon of relaxation. The staff was very friendly and the owner is a great guy.

The food arrived on the table within 5 minutes?! Unfortunately, the chicken satay was very dry and tasteless. Probably came from the freezer or a bag. Three skewers of exactly the same size, unfortunately of poor quality, served with tasteless factory sauce and a few leaves of lettuce for more than 22 euros. The sole, without taste, was not cooked properly. When we indicated that we were not satisfied, the response was: you should have told us earlier....

Bad food for a lot of money. Too quickly on the table; reheated bags of tough satay, skewers all the same size and no compensation whatsoever.

We hadden een kipsaté en en zeetong besteld. Het eten kwam binnen 5 minuten op tafel?! Helaas was de sate zeer droog en smakeloos. Kwam waarschijnlijk uit de diepvries of een zakje. Drie stokjes van exact dezelfde afmetingen helaas van erbarmelijke kwaliteit geserveerd met smakeloze fabrieks saus en een paar blaadjes sla voor ruim 22 euro. De zeetong, zonder smaak, was niet goed gaar gebakken. Toen we aangaven dat we niet tevreden waren was de reactie, had je eerder moeten vertellen....

What a gem!, we are both vegetarian and also prefer alcohol free beer, we were wowed by the choices, and the service was simply awseome. Our 'young' waitress was a real star 🌟 thank you to everyone for making our visit one to remember for all right reason. Just one last point ... loved the fireworks 🎆 and the 'Loveboat' caberet !!!

Yesterday we had dinner with friends for the first time, one friend was already familiar with this place. He was right, a good welcome upon entering, tasty and high-quality food, wonderful atmosphere and top service. We will definitely come back!

Het was zaterdag 7 september 2024, we hadden gereserveerd rond 18.30 uur, we werden eigenlijk getrakteerd voor Roman zijn verjaardag een week geleden. Toen we aankwamen werden we begeleid naar onze tafel. Onze menu begon met een voorafje een broodje met kruidenboter. Een lekker vers krakelend brood, zo hebben we het graag, maar wat een gesmos op de tafel van de zaadjes. Als hoofdgerecht nam ik en Roman de varkenshaas één met peperroomsaus en één met champignonroomsaus. Deze was perfect gebakken, beetje nog licht roos zoals het moet bij dit. Het groentenkransje op het bord was met paprika, radijs, tuinkers, rucola, rode ui en een koude pasta met olijven. Super lekker. Peggy nam de Ierse biefstuk (ca. 200 gram) met champignonsaus. Deze was net iets te hard gebakken volgens de bereiding die ze gekozen had maar het viel goed mee. Cees had gekozen voor de steak Robespierre met balsamico dressing en Parmezaanse kaas. Een lekkere combinatie waarbij de steak in stukjes gesneden was, tussen au point en saignant zat. De toegevoegde waarde van de balsamico dressing en de Parmezaanse kaas maakten het af, wat lekker is dit, meteen één van hun topgerechten. We zaten zo vol dat er geen dessertje meer bij kon. De service was super en vriendelijk. Wat hier leuk is, is dat als je op het terras zit de binnen- en buitengaande bootjes kan bekijken. Ook moet je zeker een dag op voorhand reserveren, want het kan hier heel druk zijn.

It was Saturday September 7, 2024, we had reservations around 6:30 PM, we were actually treated for Roman's birthday a week ago. When we arrived we were escorted to our table. Our menu started with an appetizer, a sandwich with herb butter. A nice fresh crackling bread, that's how we like it, but what a mess on the table from the seeds. As a main course, Roman and I took the pork tenderloin, one with pepper cream sauce and one with mushroom cream sauce. This was perfectly cooked, still slightly pink, as it should be with this. The vegetable wreath on the plate was with peppers, radish, cress, arugula, red onion and a cold pasta with olives. Super tasty. Peggy had the Irish steak (approx. 200 grams) with mushroom sauce. This was baked a little too hard according to the preparation she had chosen, but it turned out well. Cees had chosen the steak Robespierre with balsamic dressing and Parmesan cheese. A tasty combination where the steak was cut into pieces, between au point and saignant. The added value of the balsamic dressing and the Parmesan cheese completed it, how delicious this is, immediately one of their top dishes. We were so full that we couldn't have any more dessert. The service was superb and friendly. What's nice here is that if you sit on the terrace you can watch the boats going in and out. You should also make a reservation a day in advance, because it can be very busy here.

Went here for the first time last Sunday. Very warmly received by the owner and staff! Delicious mussels and a super tasty steak. Definitely worth repeating! We will be back again soon..

Very attentive service. Even though it was very busy with larger groups and a wedding, there was very good service for our group as well.

very lovely place hidden in small harbour !! but what a good chance that let us find about this great place !!! .. the food is super good and tasty the place is clean and has great view of the harbour .. their menu and sweets are super good and delicious with various plates and steaks and all u need to spend a good time .. workers are very lovely and friendly and the prices are reasonable comparing to the food and service .. highly recommended to groups and friends .

Beautiful location, warm welcome and delicious food. The weather did not permit it, but otherwise we would certainly have used the outdoor terrace overlooking the harbor.

Delicious and affordable food, super fast service, friendly staff and a very pleasant owner. Before we left we got a small tour of the outdoor area. In summer you can sit on the terrace on the water and there is also a boat rental. Greetings from Friesland, we will definitely come back.

Very tasty food. Friendly service and the dog is also taken care of. All tasty dishes but we opted for the Cod. I think the name "restaurant" is better than "eatery".

Beautiful location for us as sport fishermen who are looking forward to a nice bite to eat with a nice beer after a competition day. Ontzettend gezellig restaurant en personeel...superleuke locatie aan de haven van mijn geboorte dorp Lage Zwaluwe...heerlijk gegeten...echt in 1 woord...TOP !!

Leuke plek en eigenaren heel aardig. Terras in de zomer verstandig te reserveren.

Gisterenavond met 14 personen uiteten geweest. Van te vore was al aangegeven dat de kok alleen in de keuken stond, daar hebben wij helemaal niets van gemerkt! Hoe vriendelijk de bediening ons heeft geserveerd dat is ongekend! Daarnaast was het eten heerlijk en dit is meermaals door de kok gevraagd aan tafel. Echt een hele goede ervaring een dikke aanrader voor iedereen die van lekker eten en gezelligheid houdt!

Top eigenaar en wat een leuk personeel. Leuk zitten op het terras aan het water. Eten was ook prima. Geef bijna nooit geen 5 sterren. Dan moet het echt super, super zijn. Zouden zeker terug komen.

Fijn personeel met een stralende lach. We hebben ook heerlijk gegeten. De steak robespierre is dan ook zeker een aanrader. Kortom een mooie avond

Prima restaurant. Timing van het gelijktijdig serveren van de gerechten is wel een aandachtspunt. Tot 2x toe kregen we een gerecht pas veel later dan de rest van de tafelgenoten.

I'm so happy we found this place. It has an amazing terrace on the water, family kind of atmosphere and the tastiest food in the country. This place is a game changer. Finger licking good food, comfort food, soul food, food that you eat until you can't no more, and then a little more :). We will be coming back often.

Met een groep van 9 personen gegeten op 11-2-2023 . Genoeg keuzemogelijkheden op de kaart. Niet te lang gewacht. Alles goed warm en lekker. Bij de carpaccio zou ik persoonlijk liever rucola willen eten, maar dat is een voorkeur, zoals het nu was was het ook lekker. Vriendelijke bediening (Darja en Angelique) en de eigenaar Ad komt ook altijd even een praatje maken.

Ongelooflijk leuke vent en personeel. Heerlijk gegeten. Omrijden waard.

Het is en blijft een Rotterdammer, een pracht van gast vrijheid. Lekker gegeten met zijn vieren 17 december. Even gebeld onderweg,en ja hoor geen probleem. De Snitzel van het huis zijn super. Tot de volgende keer.

Lekker gegeten bij "hier is 't" er is een groot terras aan het water en binnen is ook plek genoeg. Vriendelijke en attente bediening en goeie prijzen. Wij hadden een voor, hoofd en nagerecht voor 4 personen inclusief 2 flessen wijn voor €165,- vind ik reuze meevallen.

Terras was vol, te weinig personeel.Maar er werd wel meegedacht.Alleen n hoofdgerecht binnen kon wel.Smaakte prima !!

Om te beginnen: complimenten voor uitstekende gastvrijheid van de bescheidenste serveerster van Noord-Brabant en de goed geluimde chef! Over het etablissement zelf: Het is zeker niet voor iedereen. Voor rolstoelen ongeschikt, parkeren is uitdagend in het smalle straatje, het uitzicht vanaf het terras aan vaarwater is goeddeels op een enorme Polizei groene muur van de jachthaven en een roestige damwand. De uitzicht belemmerende schutting met de buren heeft bovendien een speciale horizontale plank om je nek mee te blesseren bij het plaatsnemen op een stoel die daar bijna klem onder staat. Zo nu en dan komt er een plezierbootje langs varen door het kanaaltje langs het terras en dat is dan toch weer leuk. Qua eten en drinken was de timing goed, de hoeveelheid ook, maar qua menu, ingrediënten, garing en smaak zou ik hier bijvoorbeeld niet 15 km extra voor rijden. Wel hebben we een leuke tijd gehad en voor de serveerster nogmaals niets dan lof!

Leuke plaats aan het water, ruim terras. Je kan er iets eten of gewoon iets drinken. Vriendelijke bediening.
