A very beautiful place, right by the water with a view of the harbor. The service is top-notch and the atmosphere is absolutely fantastic, with its retro style.

A cozy, playful, and spontaneous restaurant. There is a fantastic play area for the children. The food is amazing and prepared with care. There is more than enough choice on the menu. A wonderful owner who also has a great brigade hopping around in the restaurant and kitchen. Thank you for your hospitality, you are the stars. For us, this is a restaurant we will return to should we stay at the Bieschbos Hotel again.

Very nice place! This is our second time coming here. Good food, we went for the sharing platters. Very fine flavors. Maybe one comment: quite pricey, but the quality is high, so it's not a problem.

What a wonderful experience at this place in Drimmelen. Everything we were served looked fantastic and tasted even better. The presentation is a real plus. The spring onion skewers and the various appetizers on the black plates, in particular, were a feast for the eyes. Every single piece of food was prepared with great care. We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the quality of the dishes. This is definitely a place to return to soon for a lovely meal.

What a super cozy place! De Boeien has a very nice vibe where old is made new again. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, and the service is cheerful, friendly, and welcoming. The food was also excellent. The Boeien Burger was really very good and I can absolutely recommend it. The fish and chips were also delicious. The location and surroundings complete the picture. A nice place to enjoy a meal and a drink, and there is plenty for children to do as well. We had a wonderful time here and will certainly be happy to return. A big thumbs up to the whole team!

We chose a burger from the menu here; it was served in an original way with sauces and fries in a separate small bowl. The burgers were very tasty and the portion was more than generous! The cup of coffee afterwards was also top-notch! The music in the restaurant was also very pleasant! What struck us most was the extremely friendly service from the staff! We left with a great feeling!

What a lovely evening we had! We had the small dishes and they were surprising every time; not the same flavors as everywhere else, but truly unique. The entire service team was very cheerful and friendly. The ambiance itself is very special and atmospheric, and the music contributes to this as well. 100 percent recommended!

Wow… what a fantastic place! Who cares! Sometimes you walk into a place and everything just clicks. The atmosphere, the decor, the location by the harbor… I was absolutely captivated. We sat on the terrace for a lovely time with a drink and some relaxed music, with a super view ;-) You simply won't want to leave! The food was delicious; shared dining, love it! The staff really tops it all off… hospitable, friendly, and genuinely attentive. I felt welcome from the very first moment. And what I also found truly special is that you see all kinds of people mixed together here: whole families, children, friends, lovers, young and old… and everyone is having a great time. This place is my new gem! You simply have to have been here. I am certainly sure that I will be coming back here very often!!

What a terrible place this is. You sit there waiting 45 minutes for your sandwich, and when you ask if they know how much longer it will take, you get spoken to like a dog. You get a really big mouth and are treated unkindly by the owner/manager. The waitress was actually very nice and couldn't help it, but that owner/manager is a really rude and unfriendly person. On top of that, the food/sandwich wasn't really anything special either. So for us: NEVER AGAIN

Wow, this was delicious! We had a lovely, cozy dinner with my girlfriends on a Wednesday evening. There was plenty of time between courses, allowing us to really enjoy the food and the surroundings. Definitely recommended! And a big plus to the staff who made our evening even better!

Had a nice beer here. The lunch menu is very mediocre, no "normal" sandwiches or soup. You can order from the evening menu (after 5:00 PM), but that wasn't what we came for. The service is friendly. The indoor area is nicely decorated, but the outdoor terrace is a bit disappointing; the fence is too high! The entrance was also hard to find and comes across as sloppy; you can't enter via the terrace! All in all, minor points for improvement. Not a second time for us; there are several locations with more extensive options. That's why 3 stars, but with small adjustments, it could easily go to 4 or even 5 stars. 😎🤔😉

Despite having a reservation, we were relegated to an extra table in a corner; they had to get it especially for us. The service wasn't very good, the food was okay, but the portion was very small for the price. Very expensive for what you get.

The atmosphere, the hospitality, the coziness, the delicious food, and the owner who stops for a chat with you, make you want to come back, and we certainly will!! We stayed at the camper park for a week and wanted to visit all the tents, but that didn't quite work out because we felt comfortable at Boeien!! So yes, Boeien!!!! We spent two evenings at Boeien in Drimmelen and both were absolutely top-notch! The owner understands true hospitality like no other. He instinctively senses what guests need to make it a fun and relaxed evening, without it feeling forced. Even though it was actually completely full, that was simply resolved by just setting up an extra table on the terrace. That typifies the flexibility and hospitality: they really go the extra mile to make the guests happy. The food is of excellent quality, the prices are fair, and the atmosphere is exactly as you hope: warm, casual, and cozy. Everything is just right here. Big on Biesbosch! Wow, what a location in the marina! The ceiling lamps alone are eye-catching, especially the oil drum. We couldn't get enough of the large, vintage-style room. There were still tables available outside. You can enjoy a delicious meal right in the harbor. The service was very attentive and friendly. A great start to our first day of vacation.

What a fantastic choice for our dinner after the team outing! We had made reservations for a group of no less than 60 people, and everything was perfect from the very first moment. Even though we arrived a little early, we were received in a super friendly and enthusiastic manner. The entire restaurant was already fully prepared for our arrival—that immediately gave us a good feeling! The staff truly deserves a big compliment: there was more than enough service staff present, and they were incredibly attentive. From minute one, we were completely pampered and wanted for nothing. We had already communicated a number of dietary requirements (allergies) in advance, but had forgotten to mention that there were vegetarians in the group. No problem at all! This was resolved lightning fast and with enormous flexibility. Delicious vegetarian dishes were on the table in no time—truly top-notch! And then the food… fantastic! The meat dishes, in particular, are highly recommended. Everything tasted amazing, and the atmosphere completed the experience: cozy, relaxed, and just a little different from the norm. In short: highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy delicious food, top-notch service, and a super cozy ambiance without a care in the world! 👌🔥

We were on holiday in Dimmelen for a few days, and one evening we spontaneously went out for dinner with my husband and the kids. It's a really cool place, and the kids had a blast playing there 🤩. The food was absolutely delicious too. I can definitely recommend it.

Here they demonstrate that even a dull factory warehouse can exude atmosphere and quality. Remarkably "good" music, perfect "imperfect" atmosphere. Good value for money. Relaxed atmosphere. Good service that surrounding older restaurants could learn a lot from.

We celebrated our children's birthdays at Boeien for the second time. Last year, we had a lovely brunch with family and friends. Today, we enjoyed a shared dinner with a large group. We're so happy with how Emri and his team organized this for us again. A wonderful atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was very friendly. We went for lunch one Saturday during a snowfall. The food itself was disappointing (temperature and taste). The indoor playground is very nice. Be sure to bring thick socks and a thick sweater or cardigan for your child. The indoor playground is very nice, but it was extremely cold. Children have to take off their shoes, but fortunately, parents were allowed to keep them on. Ice cubes were provided after playing. Apparently, it's nice and cool inside in the summer, so that's a plus.

Brabant hospitality at its finest! What a lovely location, with plenty to do both outside and inside. The food was delicious (shared dining) and the service was incredibly friendly and helpful. These people really know their stuff. I got extra prawn crackers for my niece because she loves them so much, and both my kids took home a bag of treats. We'll definitely be back!

Last Friday, we went here for dinner with the family. We opted for the shared dining option and were pleasantly surprised by the chef. The kids had delicious fries and a snack from the children's menu. We had discussed having the kids' food with the first round of shared dining. The food was delicious, and the young man who served us all evening interacted wonderfully with the kids, and everyone was so friendly! The kids had a great time playing while we chatted! I definitely recommend eating here!

We took a lovely boat trip on Sunday and settled down at a nearby terrace, where one of the waitresses wasn't very friendly. Then we walked on to Boeien. We hadn't made a reservation but were able to find a spot outside. We received excellent service from start to finish, and the staff regularly asked if we wanted another drink or if everything was to our liking. The entire staff was also kind to our dog, Rex (German/Swiss Shepherd). There's a nice playground inside and a sandbox with a slide outside for children. Children can grab something from the grab bag when paying. We had a delicious meal there, shared dining with a beautiful view of the boats. Thank you, Boeien! We'll definitely be back!

Heerlijk gegeten, keus genoeg op de menukaart. Personeel is vriendelijk, de aankleding in het restaurant is heel bijzonder maar erg leuk gevonden. Het eten is van goede kwaliteit en de porties zijn ruim voldoende, wij kunnen het broodje tonijnsalade en de pullet pork beef burger aanraden. Kortom een gezellig restaurant met lekkere gerechten en goed personeel en hun slogan “waar lekker belangrijk is” klopt als een bus. Wij komen hier zeker terug.

What a fantastic entrepreneur with a social heart! During a family day, a group of 11 people, including two people over 90, wanted to picnic in the park next to Boeien. It was raining, and we were practically chased away by the harbor master because we wanted to set up a party tent in the rain and grill some satay on a gas barbecue. The owner of Boeien offered us the opportunity to continue our picnic in his courtyard garden, under a large parasol, and we were even allowed to grill our own satay there. Our family day, which would otherwise have been ruined, was saved. Of course, we had drinks at his place at the end of the day, where we were treated to two portions of bitterballen (a type of meatball). What a fantastic man this is!!!!!

I was here for the first time, with my best friend. We had a few drinks, and I also had a sandwich with two croquettes. The bread and croquettes were delicious. A cozy atmosphere, both inside and out. Friendly staff, who regularly stop by to ask if you'd like anything else, which is great. I'd love to come back.

Food is ok for a quick bite, however the price is not in line with the quality. I paid €18.50 for just a little chicken sate and the french fries were billed separately for €5,50. An ice coffee for €8,50 without fresh whipped cream seems also over the top. Didn’t leave with a comfortable feeling.

The pork belly was an absolute flavour bomb. The crust: perfectly crispy. The meat: buttery soft and juicy, melting in the mouth. Subtle spices and a light smoky touch finish it off. Every bite was pure pleasure – this is comfort food at its best.

I had a fried egg sandwich "Boeien", with fried mushrooms and bacon, it was so extensive with all kinds of other things, nuts, spring onions, pieces of pepper, it was really a party 👍😁

With a group of 80 people, and 30 boats with their captains and crew, we moored in Drimmelen in June 2025. At restaurant "Boeien" we were received very hospitably and in a fantastic ambiance. Our wishes were continuously taken into account. Because of the beautiful weather, all tables were even set for us again on the terrace. Everything was great: the atmosphere, the decor and surroundings, the super friendly and helpful service, the live music and not to forget the food. We all had a great evening and certainly did not miss anything. The breakfast the next morning was also excellent. We highly recommend restaurant "Boeien". WV Neptunus, 's-Hertogenbosch.

Top location! Original, cozy interior with surprising elements. We were with our water sports association, approx. 80 people. The food was top organized, the service was top; smooth and very friendly. The terrace decorated in a cozy way with a musician who completely fit in with the festival-like atmosphere. In short; recommended!

We were with a large group. 8 adults and 7 children between the ages of 2 and 9. We know it is sometimes difficult, but it seemed that the kitchen was not in order. Cold orders were forgotten just like in the second round. They say the dishes come out of the kitchen when it's ready. There was half an hour between the first and the second. Nothing came from 2 people after 45 minutes. Ordered ice cream for the children. 7 pieces. What flavour? Just do all vanilla, that's easy. One ice cream arrived because the other children were in the playground. Had to ask for 6 more at the bar. The waiter came with a tray of drinks. Stumbled and some glasses were exchanged. Not a big deal, but after half an hour go to the bar and ask again. Too bad we had such a bad experience, because our previous time was really good.

Enjoyed it again today at Broei as always, but now with a new menu. Nice relaxed atmosphere, top staff and of course delicious food. It's a party every time! Highly recommended!

Small terrace with little atmosphere. It took a very long time for a waiter to come to our table to order. There were many people around us who wanted to eat something, but that could take a long time because the kitchen was too busy. The cappuccino was nice, but I wouldn't visit here again.
