The four of us had a wonderful meal with some delicious international dishes, with plenty of variety and delicious flavors! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back!

Eetcafe Le Troubadour is a nice restaurant on the market square in Valkenswaard. We went there for tapas. The food is fine. Not outstanding, but everything is okay. It is pricey, though. A pleasant evening of dining for €35 sounds good. But drinks aren't included, and that's not mentioned anywhere. Not on the website, nor on the menu. It would be nice if it were mentioned on the menu.

We enjoyed the various dishes from the set menu, something for everyone.

This was the first time we tried the international tapas dishes at De Troubadour. It certainly won't be our last, as we had a wonderful meal in a pleasant, relaxed, and cozy atmosphere. There were six of us, and there was something for everyone, and we spent a lovely evening chatting with our neighbors. Highly recommended!!!👍👌

What a wonderful meal we had, the sole was delicious, my plate of carpaccio was generously filled, the children's menu fries/chips with chicken nuggets, according to our son the tastiest fries he has ever eaten. Our son played outside on the square, there were water fountains and our son was wet, not bad at all but he did get a bit colder later in the evening. A very sweet lady, the owner, came to us and got a set of clothes that our son could put on and take home. These kind of people are worth their weight in gold, so incredibly sweet ❤️

Poor quality meat on the burger tastes like supermarket. Thin tasteless schnitzel. Badly seasoned Chicken dish was OK, not very special Afterwards I had to burp very badly because of that burger, which always left me with a bad taste. Poor price quality. I thought it was very expensive

I've lived in Valkenswaard all my life. never been to the troubadour at the invitation of friends. go there once. nice concept. good card. plenty of choice. very friendly service. the lady was very attentive and was clearly a driving force in the company. drinks were refilled well and on time, you were not left with an empty glass. the food was good. a few minor comments about the food. but this was done by the lady. well received and also communicated to the kitchen. clearly a growing company, keep it up. we will definitely come back again. the evening ended with a very nice dance

We opted for the worldly dishes, there is a lot of choice and it all tastes delicious. Service was good and they regularly asked if we wanted something to drink or order another dish. It was a pleasant evening with a good atmosphere.

Weer heerlijk genoten van jullie vernieuwde kaart (Wereldse gerechten). Service met een big smile. Lekkere gerechten, daar waar nodig goed warm opgediend. Jullie staan snel weer aan tafel voor het volgende gerecht, dus met een goed gevulde buik weer naar huis ! Tafelen zonder tijdslimiet…een echte aanrader.

Vanavond de nieuwe kaart van de wereldse gerechten uit geprobeerd. Bleek een prima keuze. De gerechten die wij uit hebben gekozen waren super lekker. Ook de prijs/kwaliteit voor deze gerechten iis prima. Gezellige sfeer en attente bediening. Voor herhaling meer dan vatbaar en aanbevelingswaard.

We had a delicious meal here last night and we will definitely be back. The service in particular was great despite the fact that it was very busy outside on the terrace. I read some critical reviews in advance which made me doubt myself, but I also know how some people can whine. That's why I think these hardworking people deserve an honest review. I really think it's recommended 🤩🤩 The only negative point may be the interior, which is a bit dated, but you come to eat and not because you want to be in a palace. So enjoy your food 👌

Received too small a portion of goat cheese salad without bread or fries as indicated on the menu. The staff first said that it was displayed incorrectly on the menu and subsequently did not provide any compensation with the hefty price of €15.5 for this excessively small portion...

"We expected bread with the salad" "That's wrong on the menu" Then €15.5 is of course a lot for a salad that is not too large.

Had lunch via social deal. Photos are completely wrong. Didn't see a lunch board. Not 2 mini croquettes on a small slice of bread, but 1. Not 2 slices of brie, but 1. And so on. An unfriendly lady who helped us. At one point she was alone with some kind of cook. But that should not be a reason for her behavior. I spoke to her at the end and said that we will definitely never come back

Wonderful resting point on the market in Valkenswaard for a cappucino or small meal. Friendly employees and a quiet environment without excessive loud music. One of the better locations on the market square.

Gezellig tapasrestaurant met aardige medewerkers. De kaart is op zich prima, mits je van vlees houdt. Veel gerechtjes lijken op elkaar en vormen een variant van rund/kip/varken. We misten een beetje de groenten. Verder denken we dat het concept van tapas en shared dining beter tot zijn recht komt als je meer dan één gerechtje per persoon per ronde mag kiezen. Nu was het steeds in een paar happen op en moesten we dan toch weer 15/20 minuten wachten op het volgende. Dat voelt als veel onnodig wachten. Verder was de kwaliteit van het eten prima. Smakelijk en niet te ingewikkeld. Sfeer was prettig!

Had lunch with my family for my birthday. Reserved online and indicated here that it was a birthday, nothing was done with it. The hot dishes were just not cold. The ambiance is old fashioned. The music is not atmospheric and very overpowering. There were only a few tables occupied, but a boy who was much too young had to do everything alone without proper guidance. He did his best. But this makes the service far below par. No one came to our table to ask if everything was okay and if we needed anything. Otherwise I would have preferred to report all of this personally. I'm never coming back here again. For me it was a real disappointment!!! Pity...

Absolutely great: the lovely lady at the counter. Attentive, friendly without being pushy and has a good feeling for her guests. I thought the joke about my friend's birthday was really fantastic. We ordered the pinsa for lunch. Definitely recommended. Although described as light, it is certainly very filling. The decoration of the cafe could be a bit more attractive. However, I would definitely come back here.

We had a delicious meal here again on Valentine's Day. Opted for worldly dishes. It was fine again. Service super friendly! The food is good and they often ask if you want to order again, so we can't post the reviews about “little” at all!

Heerlijke wereldse gerechtjes gegeten waar we nooit lang op hoefden te wachten. Mede door de super fijne bediening hebben we een heel fijne avond gehad! TOP !

Gastheer zeer gastvrij. Gegeven feedback werd meteen opgevolgd. Eten was voortreffelijk. Geen enkele tijdsdruk. Al met al heerlijk gegeten en een hele gezellige avond gehad.

Erg lekker eten vooral de wereldse gerechten

Goed eten. 1 gerecht per ronde weg weinig. Hadden na 2,5 uur pas 2 gerechten gekregen. Lijkt erop alsof deze zaak op drankjes draaid want hier word wel continue naar gevraagd. Medewerkers ook best chagerijnig en niet meelevend. Ook zat er een haar in het eten van mijn vriendin, hier werd niet compenserend op gereageerd en er werd een raar hoofd getrokken. Nooit meer!

Leuk klein restaurantje. Tapas is meer op zijn Nederlands, niet echt spaanse gerechten. Je mag per ronde, 1 gerecht bestellen. Ben je meer dan met 5 personen (wij waren met 6). Mag je per tafel maar 5 gerechten, dat betekent dat de 6e persoon een zelfde gerecht moet nemen als wat de andere kiezen. Erg verwarrend en je kan dus niet altijd kiezen wat je wilt. Ook zit je erg lang te wachten op je volgende gerecht. Zeker als je mag pas bestellen als je vorige gerecht op is. Gerechten zijn wel lekker. Maar het is niet zo klantvriendelijk dat je elke keer zo lang moet wachten tot het volgende gerecht. Als je van HEEL lang tafelen houd is het zeker een aanrader.

Met een voucher genoten van een heerlijke lunch. Eerst glaasje uiensoep, daarna lekker lunch plank en yoghurt met fruit na. Vriendelijke bediening en goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.
