Mixed grill on a noisy terrace turns out to be mostly fried food. A disappointment. What a shame!

I ordered a Caesar salad without dressing and cheese, but I received the dressing and the cheese anyway. My mother ordered a filet american sandwich but got a martini sandwich. My sisters asked for a kids' menu toastie with chocolate milk, but the chocolate milk wasn't shaken; it tasted like ditch water.

Went for a drink with family this afternoon and they came by with bitterballen. Last time they had watermelon too. They have very friendly staff and good food there, but you still get spoiled from time to time. Classy!

Large terrace that was full again today, but the service remains just as friendly and our sandwiches (French paninis) were brought quickly. We hadn't expected that with such a crowd, but they were deliciously warm and extremely tasty.

The staff were extremely unfriendly and lacked humanity in their response. After the Evening Four-Day March, we faced an unpleasant problem with our 4-year-old daughter: the center was already closed, and she urgently needed to use the toilet. We therefore stepped inside to ask if this was possible. The employees were standing and talking amongst themselves and barely looked up when I approached them. I politely asked if I could ask a question and explained the situation: we had just completed the Evening Four-Day March, everything was closed, and our daughter clearly wouldn't make it home. The employee didn't even look at me during the entire conversation and kept staring at her colleagues. All they said was that the toilets were already locked and that it wasn't possible. When I pointed out that our daughter would otherwise wet her pants and asked if no exception could really be made, the response I received was: "Not our problem, it's already locked." After that, the conversation was immediately cut short, and the employees went back to their discussion. I understand that there are rules, but I had expected a little understanding and humanity for a small child in need. I found the way we were treated particularly unfriendly and inhumane. That was a major disappointment to me. And the place is even called "family"! In any case, I will not be coming here again.

Very disappointing experience. We ordered schnitzel with fries and cabbage salad, but the order was wrong. Instead of cabbage salad, we received tomato and cucumber salad. We also asked for 2 schnitzels per portion, but received only one. The schnitzel looked undercooked and the coating was peeling off. The fries tasted old and reheated. We only noticed everything after opening the takeaway order at home. Unfortunately, the food quality was very poor and not worth the money.

Just went for lunch here, but I am certainly not enthusiastic about it. When ordering, I clearly stated that no onion was needed with the vegetarian omelet. Eventually — after a long wait — we received our order *with* onion. I sent the order back and received a cold omelet without onion on the plate (I had already removed it myself). It was more like scrambled eggs, and I got the impression that flipping the omelet had gone wrong and that they had just made this out of it because of it. When ordering the rosé, we asked for ice, didn't get it; asked for ice again, didn't get it again, and finally got ice for the rosé on the third attempt. The terrace was still under construction and there was an employee constantly walking around the grounds shouting. Very annoying. 46 euros is reasonable for lunch, but not when the service, atmosphere, and food are so incredibly substandard.

This is already the second time we've wanted to eat here. It was 6:30, and they are open until 8:00. They made a fuss about us wanting to eat because it wasn't busy. Basically, we aren't welcome, and they want us to go home on time.

Good, friendly, and helpful service. The food is delicious, and the manager is well-versed in customer preferences. The ingredients are of good quality and partly local. And importantly, the food is halal. The music selection is... different, but not necessarily bad, and several seats suffer from a draft from the door (try to avoid sitting near the entrance). All in all, a good experience.

Enjoyed a delicious Valentine's Day lunch with family (during Carnival). Fast and good service from friendly staff. The salmon sandwich, ham and cheese omelet, and the two cappuccinos were excellent. Fantastic! A bit more decoration (Carnival, Valentine's Day) would have added to the ambiance.

Very inhospitable!!!!!!!! If you ask to pay to use the restroom, you're not allowed! We'll never come here again! I understand that a restaurant isn't a public restroom and that you want to prevent abuse. However, I'm truly disappointed in the complete lack of service and humanity in this particular situation. Even with the willingness to pay a small fee, the owner apparently didn't see the need to show any understanding or flexibility.

Had lunch at Family today. It was a bit of a disappointment. I ordered a Sloppy Joe BURGER and was surprised to find a burger bun with Sloppy Joe sauce, but no burger. The staff said this was a trend, but when you advertise it as a burger on the menu and then serve a bun with sauce and no burger, something's not right, and if you have to pay €16.95 for it, I feel a bit ripped off. Next time, I'll get a burger somewhere else.

The best mixed grill you'll ever eat is right here! I've eaten here several times and every time it's delicious. Good quality food at a great price. Great service and a relaxed atmosphere.

The atmosphere is always good, the prices are affordable and when the weather is nice there is also a large terrace surrounded by a large shopping centre.

Spicy chicken pieces with salad, fries, and two specialty beers: The salad was fine. I don't think they were scooped from a container, but freshly cut. The fries were neatly fried and hot! The latter isn't always a given at many restaurants. The chicken pieces were flavorful, nice and tender with a delicious sauce. This was also hot, as it should be. Furthermore, the portion was generous. The service was also excellent; despite there being only one person working, she had everything under control. --> Summary: A delicious lunch!!

We had a lovely dinner tonight because of our wedding anniversary. We ordered the mixed grill platter for 2 people, it was very tasty and highly recommended. We were helped well and the food arrived quickly!

We went today. It was busy because of the beautiful weather and the annual fair. But that doesn't mean the service has to be bad. We waited a long time before we could order, but finally we had to go inside to see if anyone would help us. We also had to ask if we could wipe the table because it was dirty (we had to ask four times). Drinks weren't cold. There were no cutlery for the food, and I hadn't finished my last bite yet and had to pay. Even though we wanted to stay for a drink. I've never experienced such bad service, and the one star is actually too much to give.

The staff is friendly, but the quality of the lunch dishes is mediocre. That's a reason I won't be back. I also noticed a few other things: "Fresh" orange juice comes from an Albert Heijn bottle, the kitchen/counter racks are lying on the floor, and in the play area, there are stools with broken legs.

A few years ago, I had dinner here with friends. Nothing wrong with it, everything was delicious. Today I had lunch here with my wife. She had a Carpaccio Family Special sandwich and I had the Omelet Pikanto. We both had a Bitter Lemon with it. The carpaccio sandwich was completely soggy (wet) because of the tomatoes and other vegetables. They forgot the pesto. The egg slices also had light bruises, indicating they weren't fresh eggs. Because we certainly didn't think it was worth €16.95, we sent it back and requested that they not put tomato on it. Fortunately, we received a second sandwich quickly, but it had so much pesto on it that it was simply inedible. The carpaccio itself was also tasteless. And then there were those dry, old eggs... no, this sandwich was disappointing too. Such a shame. Especially with everything being so much more expensive, you can't sell this for that price. I had the Omelet Pikanto. The omelet was spread over two dry slices of white bread, which I think were toasted bread. But as you can see in the photo, it's not even half an omelet. You'd normally expect a whole egg with a good omelet. The seasoned ground meat was tasty, but overcooked. The mushroom and bell pepper pieces were fine. The staff wasn't very friendly and, in our opinion, somewhat disinterested. When the dishes were served, they simply placed them on the table without a word. We weren't even asked who had ordered what, so we had to switch them. Our complaint about the soggy bread wasn't really addressed or apologized for. Just a simple "I'll bring it back and have a new one made." Such a shame, because the friendliness of the staff, besides the good food, is what makes people come back. But we're no longer one of them.

The chicken sandwich is not chicken it’s slice chicken without any taste!!! For the same amount of money I go to The Butler and I have a proper chicken sandwich!! I already stop ordering online food because always some mistake on the order!!!

I placed an order via their website on November 18. It did not say that there were no delivery people. Paid for the order but nothing delivered. Called, sent emails, sent a message via Instagram and messenger. You will receive a message via email and we will contact you as soon as possible. Messages on messenger have been read but so far no response and my money has not yet been refunded, which I think is a shame. This is really a downside for me unfortunately.

Had to wait more than 1.5 hours for lunch for 5 people. After going to the kitchen, we asked how long it would take another 4 minutes, which turned into another fifteen minutes, then we got one for 4 people. We had an 8-year-old child with us. they just had simple poffertjes, they still had to heat them up. Again after the kitchen where the poffertjes stay, they were still in the microwave. O and drinking bottles were delivered with the caps still on, were placed in front of us. So we asked if the A bottle opener could also be supplied, so that we could pour our drinks. When paying, no apologies were given for a long wait or a discount, nothing shameful. It was the least they could do. Food was reasonable.

Cold sausage sandwich, cold sausage, dry bread, the waiter continues to push my sandwich. Spaghetti or something like that was still on my cutlery, in short, never mind, but in the end nothing was done with it. Poor service from staff. Not even a nice day after paying. Never come here again, luckily I didn't take a sip of my latte.

Sunday afternoon, we wanted to have a drink on the terrace and grab a sandwich. After asking if there was table service outside (and there was), I sat outside. Service for asking for drinks was quick, as was the drink itself. It just ended there. No menu, unable to place an order after waiting 20+ minutes (seen 4 waitresses, and the terrace + indoor areas were occupied by less than 5 tables), but eventually left. Staff just don't like you after this; you are not looked after. If you raise your hand and call the waitress to ask for a menu, you will be ignored. All in all; what a ball tent this is. 3 stars for the atmosphere; because opposite there was an Albert Heijn where I was helped quickly; and the store staff was friendly.

Not a good experience with Family Etten-Leur. Had something delivered here twice. Once I got a hair in my burger, the 2nd time I got food poisoning. This can be twice as bad luck. Normally Family is a top case, but I don't have much good to say about this Family.

My honest review about this place: it is PERFECT! I was pleasantly surprised that when I came across this place, not only is your food prepared quickly (within the workload), but it is also INSANELY TASTY! The staff is very nice and open to customers. But maybe the only negative point is that the toilets are cool 😂 And this place is ideal for relaxation and satiety!

Surf and turf, really not to be chewed, shrimps were raw, steak was fried for 3 seconds, and I would advise everyone not to eat there! Food was never cold for us again. Customer friendliness yes and no. We never even ask if we liked it even though they already knew what we thought of it. Too bad no compensation very bad!

Nice in the center. Baguette file american was very poor for the price they charge for it. I have no idea whether this was due to the carnival, because it was not very busy. A pleasant eatery
