The place is tiny, open for the last 30 years, mostly for takeout. We really enjoyed it, and the price is very reasonable for the area. One dish filled us both. The owner's son is very friendly and can explain each dish in multiple languages. Water is free.

The food is truly delicious. You have to order in advance, and then it's ready when you pick it up. They don't like ordering and taking it away right away because they don't keep any stock. Everything is made fresh, and you can taste it.

They're very friendly here, and the food used to be delicious, but it's really gone downhill. I ordered tjauwmin and nasi, and the food wasn't fresh. The nasi shrimp had no flavor, and the meat of the tjauwin moksi was completely gray, and the tjauwin itself lacked flavor. It's a real shame.

Was skeptical but wow super tasty. Had ordered nasi moksi meti extra for 20€. Now is really after a long time that I have eaten so well at Chinese. Well tip, take it with you better order in advance that advice was also given by the owner Mr. Leo.👌🏾

We came just before the closing but the owner was super friendly and nice. Explained everything in the menu and translated it to us. The food was amazing one portion was enough for both of us because it was filled to the brim with meat and noodles. Very good experience definitely coming back 🌸💖

I always drive 1 hour and 30 minutes especially for Uncle Leo Tjauwmin and Nasi Moksi.

Though this place is small, it truly is a gem! The owners were super nice and the food was on point. I had chowmein with pork belly & roast pork and it was so delicious. Big portion as well.

The food is really overrated and hyped. I got a tjauwmin moksi after a post. Because I'm looking for a good tjauwmin in A'dam. It looked better than it tasted. Pork belly was crispy, sausage was tasty too. Chicken had little flavor. That other meat was very dry. The tjauwmin itself lacks taste and life. It contained a huge amount of bean sprouts, some of which was very limp. No other (leaf) vegetables or anything like that. Very disappointing. I've tasted better. Plus point: the container is well filled.

Ik kwam hier vroeger met mijn moeder vaak, maar dat is al bijna 15 jaar geleden en de roti beviel ons steeds goed.

De geur nodigt je uit. Voor mij was het ouderwets Surinaams chinees eten geur. Tjauwmin, nasi moksi. Extra speciaal met eend erin erg lekker. Voldoende vlees maar weinig nasi/tjauwmin. Wachttijd is langer dan gemiddeld, betaald parkeren.

Ik kom al sinds 1996 bij Leo! Toptent met heerlijk eten!

[2023-06-29, €12/pax] the chowmein with belly pork was insane. a religious experience. the yellow chilli in vinegar was very spicy and insanely good. 10/10

Super aardige man en zalig eten. Voor een goede prijs en erg vullende porties. Pinnen zou vandaag de dag wel handig zijn. Maar het belangrijkste is de smaak, hoeveelheid en gastvrijheid, die zijn allemaal geweldig. Ze zitten nu weer in de Wagenaarstraat trouwens, zoals voorheen. Ik raad het iedereen aan! Tot snel!

Heerlijke Barra knapperig van buiten zacht, gaar en lekker gekruid van binnen, de Bakabana is onovertroffen met superdeluxe pindasaus. De Kipsaté was, naar mijn smaak, iets te droog. Maar de Roti kipfilet en de Tsjauwmin ZeerBijzonderExtraSpeciaal, met Kip, Eend, krokant varkensvlees en FaChong maakte dat weer ruimschoots goed. En ruimschoots kunt u letterlijk nemen, de porties zijn royaal bemeten. Ah Kong, tijdelijk op het Dapperplein, naar verwachting later dit jaar weer terug op de oude stek in de Wagenaarstraat.

Beste bami met spek die ik heb gegeten in Nederland. Ik kom hier vaak; de mensen zijn vriendelijk, goede prijzen en nog veel beter eten! Alles van de kaart is buitengewoon goed. Zeker een aanrader als je van deze keuken houdt!

Je kunt hier niet pinnen, online bestellen of het menu bekijken, maar ze schijnen wel heel lekker eten te hebben. De planten zijn indrukwekkend!

Heel toevallig dit pareltje ontdekt. Lekkere bami met jus afgehaald. Ze zitten tijdelijk in een pand op het Dapperplein.
