I recently ordered pizza here during rush hour. I told them I was going grocery shopping and came back a bit earlier than planned. It wasn't a problem to wait a bit, as I understand it's busy. But while waiting, I witnessed younger employees being belittled and verbally abused by older staff. One balding man with a beard, in particular, stood out for his disrespectful and unruly attitude toward a junior colleague. This kind of behavior toward your own staff, especially in front of customers, is simply unacceptable. The pizza itself? Inedible. Made by someone who doesn't receive proper guidance and is publicly ridiculed. You can taste it, and it feels wrong. This has to stop: treat your employees with respect and make your food worth it.

A while ago, I posted an honest review here, but it's since disappeared – just like many other critical reviews. Apparently, anything less than 5 stars is reported for removal. Message to the current owner: Since the takeover, this business has gone from a cozy little restaurant to a run-down takeaway with terrible food. If multiple customers experience this and report it, the problem isn't with the reviews but with your way of working. Adjust those instead of letting negative comments disappear.

What a true taste experience! The doner box was well-filled with deliciousness. Durum packed with meat and a delicious homemade garlic sauce. The service was excellent, courtesy of a kind, bald gentleman. I'll definitely be back!

Got yelled at when my girlfriend and I asked for a wooden fork for our doner box. I also received several photos of how the food is stored, just disgusting man, do something about it or something. The atmosphere is somewhat nice but of course it goes to shit when you are yelled at by the staff.

I ordered a kapsalon yesterday evening and it was so soooo delicious.

A very disappointing experience; this is no longer a restaurant (see the photos and videos in the attachments). I was a regular at Eethuis Eilandplein (Yauno) for years and even applied for a job there. But after what I saw with my own eyes, I'll never return. The kitchen literally resembles a zoo (rats trapped on cardboard with sealant, flies, and mold): total chaos, filth, and a complete disregard for hygiene. Anything that's no longer good isn't thrown away, but simply brought from the store to the kitchen and processed into the food. Spoiled products? No problem, they just go on your plate. On top of that, almost everyone there works illegally. There's no structure or oversight whatsoever. It feels more like an illegal workplace than a serious hospitality business. It's like entering some kind of asylum center-like environment, but without any form of supervision or accountability. If you do decide to eat here, I sincerely wish you the best of luck. Hopefully, your intestines stay intact and you'll be lucky to walk out without food poisoning. For me, it's clear: I'll never set foot in here again, and I advise everyone to avoid this "restaurant."

It is always delicious, they have improved the hygiene and everything much more than before!!

I am a regular customer here I eat here very often and it is always perfect they always wash their hands before starting a dish which I am very happy about because gloves are never that hygienic

After an hour, I called to ask where my order was, even on a Tuesday. I was told it would be there in half an hour. Excuse me? Another half hour. No excuse, nothing. An hour and a half is simply not right. The food was mediocre. Not going back.

Chicken doesn't seem cooked, they have it in water or sauce as you can see in the picture I don't know what it is but it is very tasty and well made, fries are limp and all this for €25 and I live 5 minutes away then you would expect it not to arrive like that. Never again it used to be much better now really never again... very unfortunate this I did not expect this from them you will never ever see me again after all these years. I advise everyone in Duiven not to order this then go to lucky burger or holiday there you get value for your money and somewhat tasty food.

Ordered food here today at 8:30. 1 Turkish pizza with veal and lamb chop dish with rice. I received the food and seriously 5 pieces of meat in it, I called and said that I do NOT accept this. I get an apology and that they will immediately make a new one and deliver it. At 21:00 this business closes and they have not been there, no call, nothing. What a BAD WORTHLESS service. Never again 👌🏼

Get green garlic in my kapsalon fries softer than the meat pizza cold and not cut and my drink lukewarm

I had eaten here at the Kapsalon, then I asked if I could take what I had left with me, I had to give it to them because they were going to transfer it to a container. And never got it back. I waited here for 30 minutes but left. How long can it take to transfer a hair salon into a container??

Today I ordered a döner box with blocks of döner which tasted and looked like fresh sausage, the man behind the counter had fresh lettuce and the tomatoes in the lettuce were transparent (so not fresh) and I thought it was very strange that I came there with other people and then was asked what I was doing and the man asked for debit card or cash and I said cash and he said debit card then he I took your cash and just sent him a little bit and had little or no choice to say that I didn't want that, I thought it was fine to do but he probably didn't even know that I knew him otherwise I couldn't even send him a message. NOT RECOMMENDED! It was a shame to have to throw the food away

We regularly visit a hair salon or a lahmacun here and we are always very satisfied! Tasty seasoned fries, good portions, delicious meat and friendly staff. You won't find a better hair salon and/or lahmacun than here anywhere.

I don't know what kind of veal döner they serve you here, but you don't give this to anyone. How very dirty. Once but never again, a waste of money!

Donerbox orders at 4:15 PM, the man behind the cash register says before 4:30 PM it is €3.50 (with student discount) now (4:15 PM) it is €6.49. So I just got scammed. I'll never come here again.

I ordered here, the food was delivered to my home within half an hour! Super fast service! I had 1 veal doner sandwich, which was super tasty, fresh meat and a tasty bun. I also recommend the garlic sauce. For the rest I still had 1 pasta pollo, I have never had such delicious pasta. I recommend everyone to order here, super tasty food and super good service!

Tonight, €15 worth of food thrown into the container immediately after returning home! No answer by phone! 1 Doner sandwich completely wilted and all red (blood?) stains?! Also fell apart completely after unpacking. 1 chicken fillet sandwich at this restaurant is nothing more than a bowl of dry chicken fillet with a lot of oil that pours out of the bowl on all sides, covering everything. Pita bread is so hard to make and the salad seems like it was made yesterday. NEVER AGAIN! Everything was thrown straight into the container for €15! And people be warned because this is scandalous how food is handled here! Apparently, judging by the reviews, we are not the only ones.

Het eten was heerlijk,je hoeft niet lang te wachten en de medewerkers waren erg vriendelijk en hadden een goede sfeer. Het eten wordt warm geserveerd en met heel veel menu-opties en ook een kindermenu. Dit is echt een aanrader en ook als je met je familie/vrienden een keer uit wil eten. Vegetarische menu-opties zijn ook beschikbaar. 😋😁

Heb lange tijd niet zo goed en lekker gegeten.. ik kan het alleen maar aanbevelen. De jongens zijn top en het eten nog beter. Ik zal zeker nog een x terugkomen.

Vriendelijke eigenaren zowel van het eethuis en de winkel er naast waar ik brood wilde halen. Alleen dat brood was al in de ochtend uitverkocht . 🤭

Deze eettent heette voorheen Yauno, nu Eethuis Eilandplein. Erg lekker eten, grote porties, vers en goed gekruid. Check je bestelling wel even, soms maken ze een foutje (andere saus bijvoorbeeld). Dat corrigeren ze dan meteen, dat is wel weer fijn.

Shoarma schotel besteld We hebben allebei het vlees laten staan, het was veel te kruidig Patat en salade waren prima

Snel bezorgd en de kapsalon was perfect. Helaas het verkeerde ijsje bijgeleverd.

Altijd lekker en goed eten. Ruime porties en vriendelijke mensen. Aanrader: kipdij schotel met roomsaus :)

Goeie honger? Hier krijg je echt waar voor je geld! Kapsalon en schotels waren huge! Gekruiden frietjes en heerlijk zelfgemaakte knoflook saus om naar binnen te smikkelen!! Echt aanrader!

Eten is geweldig,mededewerkers van Dachser heel erg bedankt voor het eten,het kwam warm aan en was op tijd bezorgd. Medewerkers zijn heel aardig!!
