Eethuis Helal in Transvaalwijk

Tonight I picked up another Turkish pizza as I always order from this address. But this Turkish pizza was honestly not a Turkish pizza. It was a soft, soggy, dirty mess. I really think this is a shame for the place I have been going to for years. A big zero if I could give it. Top guys, but you can't sell me this junk anymore.

The food was super tasty but the delivery time was a bit too long

They sometimes forget something but the delivery guy always solves it! For the rest top tent and good food!

Waited 3 hours for an order, called 5 times, each time said a maximum of half an hour. What bad service. Food did not arrive after 3 hours.

Waiting far too long for food, they have little to no structure, someone who just comes in has their food earlier while others wait for 20 minutes. And food is bad, not tasty.

Unfortunately, after waiting 1.5 hours, I received a calzone doner without tomato sauce and a small slice of cheese on top of the pizza. Should have ordered a pita doner. It is also cheaper for you.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food was again well below expectations. It is of course very difficult to remember whether you are making a kapsalon chicken shawarma or thinner. Because as usual my order was wrong again. Staff is always very friendly here. But the quality of the food can still be improved.

Top food (kapsalon döner xxl) definitely recommended, fast delivery and top service, I waited a maximum of 15 minutes

This is a diner that gets it. The food is well prepared and delicious, they are almost always on time, but if they are late they are disappointed and give an excuse as it should be. The delivery people are also just nice, cheerful people who seem to enjoy their work. In short, nothing but praise for these guys

What a ridiculous restaurant. Stale bread used for doner. Bread literally crumbles. Doner was tasteless just like eating plastic. Too bad I had to pay 9 euros for a “large doner sandwich”.

The edges of the Turkish pizza were even harder than a brick, it looked like it had been there for more than 1 week. Ordered Turkish pizza with döner but received it without sauce and sambal. And paid 10 euros for an Adana hamburger, but it was so dry and hard. Fries also tasted old. I usually leave comments when it's really bad, so here it is.

Eethuis Halal is my go-to place after a long day of work, especially when I don't feel like cooking. The food is delicious, although sometimes a little less salt could be used. The service is really great: the staff is friendly and everything is served super quickly. I really appreciate that! In an area where there are not many good eateries, Eethuis Halal is a real solution. Recommended!

We had food delivered yesterday and it was delicious! We ordered two Turkish pizzas with shawarma and an Adanaburger with fries. We upgraded the Turkish pizza with extra cheese and extra meat, delicious! With the Turkish pizza we got a bowl of delicious garlic sauce and we got ketchup to go with the fries. Because we were above a certain amount, we received a free can of coke as a gift. The very friendly delivery person was right on time.

Every time we order here they are 45+ minutes later than the time we selected. Every time it is because it is 'busy'. Service is downright bad. Food is fine so I would only get something here if you are in the restaurant or pick it up yourself.

Helal is always good for delicious food. Quality is consistent and good. In my opinion, the tastiest eatery in Haarlem and the surrounding area.

Chicken shawarma pizza is super tasty, cheese melted over the chicken, delicious. Didn't know they also make Italian pizzas, but they do it well!

Kapsalon was okay, had a loose bag of fries and at the bottom of the bag were uncooked fries.

What warriors these are, you can eat the best hair salon at Helal. I always order my haircut here at 2 a.m. and these soldiers come and deliver it. I fell asleep at a quarter to 2 and this man kept waiting for me to wake up. What wonderful people and super delicious food

I read a lot of bad experiences. I had it delivered myself (hair salon) and the food was delivered within 20-30 minutes, the food was still nice and warm and I quite liked it. The only thing is that the salad bowl is very small. Too bad that other people had a negative experience, but everything went well for me :)

Fast and delicious. Update: suddenly the chicken shawarma tastes and looks completely different. Onion sauce suddenly has to be paid for. Garlic sauce is and tastes different. Seems like there is a new owner. Don't think it's positive.

We have now grown a beard from waiting for our food, the food was terrible, my throat has become a desert because the food was inhumanly dry. I'm looking for a compliment to give, but I honestly can't find anything. In short, definitely not recommended, only get your food here if you want to be even hungrier than you were before ordering.

Food was good, atmosphere is not special. But just as easy if your own Turkish pizza seller has closed earlier and just when you return from holiday.

We ordered early (before 7:00 PM) with the request that the order be delivered at 8:00 PM. It is now 8:35 PM and we are still waiting. We called, they said 'it's busy'. This is our first order here, so no judgment on the food, but because of this poor service it will be our last order!

I don't recommend this place for ordering food. While the order was delivered under 60min, the quality of food is terrible. Even with NL standards

I understand that everything is becoming more expensive, but I find it really ridiculous that I now have to pay 8 euros for a shawarma sandwich that contains much less meat, and then also have to pay an extra euro for the red onion sauce. 9 euros for a shawarma sandwich.

Passing through Haarlem, we went because it was late. The cuisine, I would say without more, it "nourished" us, the service for 2 burgers and a kebab was very long, and we were surprised by the prices quite high compared to others. Couldn't do better 😉✌️

Waited 3.5 hours for our food! Arrived cold and the bag was torn. Everything was mixed up. Called immediately to say that they could pick it up again, but that was not necessary (according to the employee) I could get a credit or a refund. We opted for the refund. I was supposed to be called back (the next day) as the boss was on vacation and the manager was not allowed to make the refund himself.. After not hearing anything from the manager for 3 days, we called again. Bottom line, they do not give a refund and will not correct their mistake and simply leave you out in the cold. This is because we have posted a review on Thuisbezorgd. Seems logical to me... Incredibly bad experience. Very rude manager who speaks to customers indecently. Tip: everyone makes mistakes, but solve them properly! You made a commitment but are now going back on it. Really, really bad! Treat your customers well...

Had food delivered.. got fries instead of rice. I called for this and received rice that was not okay to eat... because it was still hard... when I called for this I got a man on the phone who laughed when I gave feedback... in addition, the meat from the mix grill was xxl hard, dry and burns.. I was a regular customer.. never spend my money here again anyway.. delivery takes 1 hour even though they are 400 m away from my house. RIDICULOUS

I gave this restaurant more than one chance and I mentioned few times please add fresh French fries but that's not gonna happen I will let the pictures talk.

Heerlijke Doner kapsalon gehaald en thuis gegeten

Pommes überraschend gut, Adana Kebab & Köfte Dürüm nicht zu empfehlen - Fleisch viel zu trocken. Lahmancun gut.

Ik schrijf niet snel een slechte review. Maar dit eethuis is helaas in een paar maanden tijd snel achteruit gegaan. Je betaald 11 euro voor een kapsalon waar veel slappe patat inzit en een klein beetje vlees. Bakjes met klein beetje saus en te late bezorgingen ect. Voor ons de laatste bestelling bij dit eethuis!

Eten is er 🔝🔝🔝 heerlijke sambal! Met overwerken eten we hier.

Vandaag voor het eerst eten besteld bij Helal en echt geen spijt van gekregen. Heerlijk gegeten en de kinderen heb ook genoten. Hele vriendelijke personeel en gastvrij. We kregen gratis cola en heerlijke baklava mee. Wij komen zeker weer terug en ik kan jullie aan een ieder aanbevelen! Groeten MK

Ik kom hier al sinds mijn jeugd, inmiddels een aantal jaar geleden tientallen km verhuisd, maar toch blijven wij geregeld terugkomen voor deze vette hap. Altijd zeer vriendelijk en betrouwbaar eten.

Eten was prima en mooi op tijd. Helaas de turkse pizza vergeten, maar werd na een belletje (waarbij de medewerker meermaals excuses maakte hiervoor) keurig nageleverd. Foutje kan gebeuren. Andere keren bestellen geen problemen gehad.

Non parlando molto inglese la persona è stata molto disponibile a seguire il mio ordine, doner kebab nella norma, mi è piaciuto. Effettuano consegne a casa, questo è molto interessante se non si ha voglia di uscire.. Diversi altri tipi di piatti, anche se io eviterei la pizza Turca da bravo italiano.. Posto però interessante.. Ci tornerò perché vorrei assaggiare altre cose che mi ispirano..
