Ordered three medium kapsalons. Absurdly small containers. Doner and kofte were very salty. I don't know if Halal has different owners, but this was a very bad experience.

The app clearly stated that the total amount after the discount was €48 (originally €64). We had chosen cash payment via Uber Eats, so we simply paid the amount indicated in the app. Upon arrival, the restaurant suddenly said that they “don’t apply that discount” and that we had to pay the full amount after all. That is incorrect, because if a discount is given via Uber Eats, the restaurant is simply supposed to stick to the amount in the app. That is a matter between Uber Eats and the restaurant itself, not something customers have to resolve afterwards. When we only paid the €48 listed in the app, they even threatened to call the police. We found that very unprofessional and intimidating, even though we simply paid what was officially stated in the order. Very unpleasant experience and treated poorly as a customer.

Best kapsalon and Turkish pizza ever, it's a ritual to come here.

I order food from Eethuis Halal quite often and expect good quality food, but I was a bit disappointed yesterday. My pizza was cold, undercooked, and the box was practically falling apart from condensation. Apart from that, the delivery person hadn't checked the delivery notes and rang the doorbell loudly at 2 a.m., waking up the other people in my house as well.

Now, for the price of 11 euros, which was the price of a regular Kapsalon, you get a small Kapsalon that looks like half a portion, and a regular one costs 13.50. A bit of an exaggeration on the part of the restaurant! It's getting worse, really!

I placed an order, paid for it, and it wasn't even delivered. I couldn't cancel it, and they didn't refund my money, lol.

I ordered and the food didn't arrive. Later, I ordered again and it arrived two hours late. This isn't a restaurant.

It used to be okay, but nowadays something is always wrong. Suddenly you get a wrap instead of a pita or something. I'm really done with it.

I ate here recently and was really satisfied. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The portions are generous and the prices are fair. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also cozy and clean. Definitely recommended if you are in Haarlem!

Eating on the spot is usually okay, but we will never order again. Kapsalon with burnt fries mixed with soggy, undercooked fries—I had never experienced anything like that before.

There was a sturdy man with a full beard, super friendly! His colleagues could learn a lot from him! The food was good, although I have to say the spices weren't entirely to my taste. The amount of rice was mediocre, but that might also be because I got a lot of chicken 😅 I indicated what kind of salad I wanted, whereupon one of the two annoying men interrupted me by saying that I get everything... apparently he would rather throw food away than have a satisfied customer 🤷‍♂️ A tasty (very small) Turkish bread roll on the side. It was just good!

The chicken dönner sandwich was a DIY kit. I had to assemble it myself.

A terrible place. They screw you over with portions and prices, almost always forgetting something in your order. The pizza is stuck on the bottom, half of it stuck to the box, and it takes two hours to get your food. The only reason to order here was because you got a decent amount of food for the price. Now that the portions have suddenly become pitifully small, there's no reason to order here.

Ordered food via Thuiszorgd. The food arrived reasonably on time, the delivery person was friendly, but the food was really not good. I ordered a large döner sandwich, and I received everything separately. The sandwich was very small, and I received meat for two sandwiches. The salad consisted of a bit of lettuce with a tomato slice on top in a small container. The meat was very bland. The Turkish pizzas were cold and tough. The chili cheese nuggets and the chicken nuggets were limp. Such a shame. I won't be ordering from you again.

The worst restaurant you can imagine in terms of service, delivery and most importantly attitude of their staff. Their delivery person was yelling at me loud in building’s entrance causing trouble for me and neighbors just because I called them to follow up on missing order item which they didn’t sent it twice one after another promise and follow up. I eventually received them with this drama the day after. I think that tells everything.

I ordered a kapsalon without cheese, but got one with a whole dollop of cheese on top. 😐😐. The container was only half full, and the fries were old, tough, and cold. I ordered it through their own website because I thought I'd save the delivery costs for the business 🥱. Last time I'll order from this place.

This was the last time I'll order from here, unfortunately! The fries are always very tough, and this time they were completely cold. Only the meat was still slightly warm. It was supposed to take 25 minutes, but the wait was over an hour, even though it's just around the corner and I pay 15 euros for one kapsalon. The extra cheese, which you pay extra for, was nowhere to be found. It seems like they left out the usual amount of cheese and put one slice in the middle. It was even less cheese than usual! It's also not very convenient to put the salad on top of the kapsalon, so it gets really hot, and then add the sauce on top. Of course, you can do it the other way around, then you don't have that problem!

I ordered a kapsalon yesterday, but it arrived an hour and a half late. I also woke up with a stomach ache. I will contact the appropriate authorities to file a complaint. This store should be closed because the food is unfit for human consumption.

We ordered takeout from here. The food was relatively warm, but the quality was extremely poor. Absolutely all the meat smelled of smoke and wasn't fresh. The only good thing was the bread, which had just been warmed up. But I feel like the meat was very old and tasted awful. Please don't give customers this kind of food, because we pay for it. If you're going to charge, deliver fresh food. I rarely give bad reviews, but I'm extremely disappointed with this place.

Super nice people and delicious Turkish pizza!

Ordered kapsalon twice. Only received shawarma fries and falafel fries, along with separate sambal and garlic sauce. No lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, nothing at all. Very meager! The container was barely full. This was definitely not a kapsalon. Easy money this way! Next time, I'll just go back to Agora, Marsmanplein. It's cheaper here, well-stocked, great value, and includes extras like onion sauce or extra cheese.

I've ordered from here many times, and the food was often very good. Unfortunately, I ordered a Turkish pizza once, and it was half cold and extremely dry, even with the sauce. Last time, I ordered a pizza with the sauce on the side, and when it was delivered, the whole box was covered in garlic sauce, including the bag. I also felt extremely nauseous and ill shortly after eating. I'm hoping for improvement, as the food was initially very good.

Terrible place. When you arrive, they refuse to help you. When they finally do, they charge €2 more per sandwich than the price on the plates. If you bring it up, you're suddenly forced to pay the price of the plate, clearly against their wishes. Then they ignore you again. First, they tried Thuisbezorgd, but they didn't show up and you had to call them. After two hours of eating, it was cold, and they were abusing you on the phone. In short, a terrible place, bad food, and even worse staff. There are so many better options in Haarlem, especially in Noord. Last time at Helal. Worst shoarma place in Haarlem. The staff is extremely rude, if you don’t pay attention they charge higher prices than on the menu. If you point that out they start swearing at you!! They don’t deserve the business the way they treat their customers…

Tonight I picked up another Turkish pizza as I always order from this address. But this Turkish pizza was honestly not a Turkish pizza. It was a soft, soggy, dirty mess. I really think this is a shame for the place I have been going to for years. A big zero if I could give it. Top guys, but you can't sell me this junk anymore.

Waiting far too long for food, they have little to no structure, someone who just comes in has their food earlier while others wait for 20 minutes. And food is bad, not tasty.

Unfortunately, after waiting 1.5 hours, I received a calzone doner without tomato sauce and a small slice of cheese on top of the pizza. Should have ordered a pita doner. It is also cheaper for you.

Eethuis Halal is my go-to place after a long day of work, especially when I don't feel like cooking. The food is delicious, although sometimes a little less salt could be used. The service is really great: the staff is friendly and everything is served super quickly. I really appreciate that! In an area where there are not many good eateries, Eethuis Halal is a real solution. Recommended!

We had food delivered yesterday and it was delicious! We ordered two Turkish pizzas with shawarma and an Adanaburger with fries. We upgraded the Turkish pizza with extra cheese and extra meat, delicious! With the Turkish pizza we got a bowl of delicious garlic sauce and we got ketchup to go with the fries. Because we were above a certain amount, we received a free can of coke as a gift. The very friendly delivery person was right on time.

I read a lot of bad experiences. I had it delivered myself (hair salon) and the food was delivered within 20-30 minutes, the food was still nice and warm and I quite liked it. The only thing is that the salad bowl is very small. Too bad that other people had a negative experience, but everything went well for me :)
