What was supposed to be a festive bachelorette party was completely ruined by the owner. Because someone in our group dropped out at the last minute due to a personal emergency, the owner immediately became irritated. Instead of showing any understanding, I received a public lecture about our 'promise'. Apologies and explanations were completely ignored, after which he started roughly moving chairs and tables around and kept glaring at us with irritation all evening. We felt incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcome. If it hadn't been a bachelor party, we would have left immediately. Fortunately, the service itself was friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the food was a huge disappointment. As a Syrian group, we know how this cuisine is supposed to taste: this food was completely soulless, bland, and lacking depth. Absolutely not disgusting, but incredibly bland and shockingly expensive for what you get. The owner is arrogant and unfriendly to customers. This was the worst Syrian food we have ever had. Absolutely not recommended!

We tried five different tasty appetizers and thoroughly enjoyed it.

According to Google, three stars stands for ‘good’, and that is exactly what it is. Friendly service, served quickly, and fine dishes, although we didn't find the flavors in each dish particularly outstanding; nothing had a wow factor. The raw vegetables were the same as the vegetables in the falafel meal. Little variety, many similar flavors and products despite the tasting platter. I suspect a lot of the same spices. However, the ratio between what you get and what you pay is, in our opinion, really not okay. 40.- pp for a main course, one drink, and a shared dessert with a cup of tea. I see now that there have been more reviews about this, so I hope they realize it. But the restaurant's explanation is always the same: inflation, wages, product figures, etc. But the comparison people make here is with other restaurants where guests (including us) go (where everything is also made fresh), and apparently, the ratio can be good there. Certainly, the vegetarian and vegan dishes, which do not contain expensive meat, are priced significantly above the norm. For us, this is a reason not to return anytime soon.

The food from Syrian cuisine tastes good, with delicate spices. Not always particularly refined, but always flavorful. The service is exceptionally hospitable. The atmosphere has nice Syrian touches, but the decor could be a bit warmer.

We had been planning to eat at MoushMoush for a long time, and yesterday we finally made it happen. My partner and I both opted for the tasting menu, featuring all sorts of interesting dishes. It was really surprisingly tasty! We were thrilled! Friendly service, good atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

A lovely surprise in our own city. We had a delicious and lavish meal. We chose the Mixgrill + Fettoush for two and a Vegetarian Mezze combo for two. Everything was tasty and freshly prepared. The price-quality ratio is perfectly balanced, so we don't understand reviews that claim otherwise. You can eat excellent gluten-free food here, and vegans and vegetarians also have plenty of choices.

My husband and I have been coming to Moush Moush in Arnhem for years. The restaurant has a beautiful Oriental atmosphere and the food is super tasty. You do pay a bit for it, but it is definitely worth it. You can really taste the flavors of the dishes. It is fresh and really flavorful. If you want to eat really well, this restaurant is highly recommended!! It cannot be compared to cheap restaurants where they serve everything pre-made and don't use fresh products. Yesterday afternoon (10-07-2026), we ate at Moushmoush for the first time. After reading several positive reviews, we decided to give it a try ourselves. And we haven't regretted it for a moment! Nothing but praise for Syrian cuisine. Everything was freshly prepared, full of flavor, and deliciously spiced. Due to the warm weather, we deliberately chose a "small" meal to get acquainted with the cuisine, but it turned out to be surprisingly generous and more than enough. The friendly welcome and the delicious dishes ensure that we will definitely return here to discover more of the menu. Highly recommended! PS. It is nice sitting on the terrace.

Vegetarians, vegans, meat eaters, everyone enjoys the variety and we always order the tasting platter. I eat vegetarian myself, and while you can't really find anything really tasty anywhere else, you can here! And it's fresh and everything is clean, which you also rarely see, and I'm happy to pay a bit extra for that! See you soon!

Incredibly expensive!!! The food was NOT worth €200 for 1 main course pp and 1 drink (€4) pp for 4 people. We had been planning to go here for a while and were looking forward to it; it looks cozy and also has many vegan options. The service was fine, we were served quickly and the food arrived quite fast too. But the price for the food was incredible. We had the tasting menu, where it really looks like you are paying €45 for 2 people, but that is €45 per person?! The food wasn't meager or gross, but certainly not worth that money.

The food tastes fantastic! We had a platter with all kinds of dips and pita bread. The basket of meg bread was even refilled! And we got baklava on the house; you couldn't make me happier. The staff is also very friendly and helpful! Highly recommended!!

Had a delicious meal with a Syrian friend, so he certainly knows his stuff. The service was friendly and the drinks were on the table lightning fast. I had the vegetarian tasting platter. The aubergine in red sauce, green beans (haricots verts), and orca were my favorites, deliciously spiced. For meat eaters, you can choose two different skewers, meaning you can try two main courses at the same time. We will definitely be back!

The food was absolutely delicious! And definitely worth the money. The reviewers complaining about the high prices apparently don't realize that Syrian cuisine is a very elaborate affair, especially when fresh ingredients are used. The gentleman who, in a Fork review, says you get more bang for your buck at DaDwan is completely off base. There's nothing wrong with Dadawan, by the way, but you shouldn't compare apples and oranges.

This was my second time eating here, and it was delicious. One downside: I ordered a sampler, and it gets cold quickly. Prices are sometimes unclear. I had a choice of bread or rice, but rice was an additional charge, and they didn't explain that.

Months later, the three of us are still completely confused and angry about the price we had to pay. "Yeah, you can choose two dishes for this meal for two people, and then add one more because there are three of you." How reasonable, that's a nice bargain. No, each dish was charged as a full main course, plus some other strange calculations that we (two university graduates, a Bachelor of Engineering major, and a walking encyclopedia) still don't understand a BIT. We spent almost 200 euros for a pretty cheap price. The Tikkie I sent to our friend was signed by him with "Syrian grifters." No idea why. But! The food was soooo delicious. And the lesson was well-founded: I won't eat anywhere where prices are unclearly explained and confusion is created.

When we pointed this out, he even started *ridiculing* us. The prices? *Extremely high*. The atmosphere? *More working-class than cozy*. The space? *Barely any room to breathe*. And the bill? *€490* for two families—I thought for a moment I'd *sold a piece of land* to afford this meal. We decided to try something different and ended up at this Syrian restaurant. The food was incredibly fresh and lovingly prepared, and you can taste it. We had a delicious meal in a nice atmosphere because the restaurant isn't very big, but it's cozy. One point for improvement! You can't serve wine in such a small, crappy glass; buy regular wine glasses instead. If you enjoy good food, you have to go here.

We had to try it sometime. Last week, we finally made it: we reserved a table. The welcome was warm, the restaurant cozy, and the open kitchen, wafting the most delicious aromas, did the rest. We ordered a meat mezze for two, and it was presented promptly. Platters of delicious dips (baba ganoush was fantastic), various spring rolls, bread, and two skewers (shish taouk / veal steak) were displayed on the table. The taste of all this wonderful food was exquisite. Deliciously seasoned and surprisingly spiced. It was gone faster than expected, but we enjoyed every bite. The coffee and date dessert was a perfect ending to this delicious meal. What a lovely place to eat. We'll be back soon!

The owner was the only one in the kitchen preparing the delicious food, while his wife took care of the service. Due to COVID, there were only a few tables set. Now there were five staff members, and the restaurant was full. What a wonderful transformation to witness! The food is freshly prepared, authentic, and flavorful, the atmosphere is great, and the service is very friendly. There's no shortage of vegan options; it's almost hard to choose, with so many delicious options! In short, highly recommended if you're visiting Arnhem!

Upon entering, I was shocked by the prices at this restaurant. They were out of proportion to the surroundings. We opted for a mezze platter of meat for two. At €45 per person, you'd expect something... We received a total of two skewers, two salad bowls, five dips, bread, four fried meatballs, and four spring rolls. Deliciously prepared and fine in terms of quantity, but not for €45. It's really overpriced for what we got.

We were able to make a reservation easily, although our request for an outdoor table wasn't taken into account. We were still able to sit outside and enjoy the food. The portion size was a bit disappointing, so I asked for bread. Drinks came without ice, which they didn't have when I asked. The price was high, especially for the portion size. Dessert was delicious. It's a shame the waiter couldn't describe it, and we were supposed to be surprised.

Bad food for Eastern Syrian cuisine. I've been to many Syrian Eastern restaurants, and this is the worst ever. The prices are very high and the service is terrible. It was poor quality and price. I don't recommend it to anyone. 👎👎👎

The restaurant is located in the center of Arnhem, across from a HEMA supermarket and near two coffee shops (the latter occasionally smelled quite good). It was also quite expensive. It was the restaurant where most of our group had their best meal during our vacation in the Hoge Veluwe region. Well-seasoned and with original flavor combinations.

It has been a few months since we ate here with friends. I hesitated for a long time whether I should post a review, especially since we were invited. But I kept doubting. We often eat in Middle Eastern restaurants. In Amsterdam, Utrecht, The Hague etc. We know quite a bit about them. But I have never seen such ridiculously high prices as in this restaurant, while the portions of the starters are not larger and the quality is definitely not better. (On the contrary). The main courses were similar, the artichoke hearts were rock hard and the baklava dessert was dry.
