Saffraan Home-made food in Spijkerkwartier

Best Arabic restaurant in the area

It's really, really good to eat.

After you, no one will make shawarma.

Had to wait a long time while others who ordered later got their food immediately. The atmosphere is very quiet and I personally don't find that very cozy. The food itself, however, is very tasty, of good quality, and very fresh!

What a disappointment. The food was really substandard, swimming in oil, and the shawarma tasted like nothing. Way too expensive for this quality. I recommend closing the place down.😂😂😂

Scandalously bad! The food is inedible, full of grease, and the shawarma has a disgusting taste. This is a pure rip-off: way too expensive for junk of the worst quality. Save people the trouble and close this place down immediately!

Honestly, my advice is to close the restaurant before people keep cursing you 🤣🤣. The food is awful! The shawarma isn't good, the garlic sauce isn't good, and the fried chicken is full of oil. And on top of that, the prices are outrageous! 😂😂😂

This restaurant is really terrible! The food was swimming in oil, the shawarma tasted disgusting, and the prices are way too high for such poor quality. This place had better be closed down.

It's so delicious, it even supported me and I loved it! The taste is amazing, try it, I highly recommend it! 🫡

Very very tasty!!!!! Try shawerma met extra sause 🤤👍👍👍👍👍👍

I ordered food 3 hours ago and I am still waiting for it.

100% amazing grilled chicken. When visiting Arnhem, I eat here and spoon up my tears of happiness with a piece of goosebumps from the top.

A very bad experience, and frankly, the price doesn't reflect the quality at all. The bread was stale and not fresh, and the amount of chicken in the shawarma was so small that the sandwich was mostly bread and toppings rather than chicken. On top of that, the price is €9, which is extremely high compared to other restaurants that offer shawarma for around €6 with better quality and quantity. Honestly, when I pay €9, I expect fresh shawarma, a decent amount of chicken, and quality that justifies the price, not stale bread and a meager filling. A high price might be acceptable if the quality justifies it, but in this case, unfortunately, I don't see the price as justified at all. I hope they review the quality of the ingredients, the quantity, and the prices, because this experience doesn't encourage me to return.

Delicious food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. Definitely worth 5 stars!

Very friendly staff and FANTASTIC food. Best half chicken with rice in Arnhem, have been coming for years. Don't understand the negative reviews; also very affordable and large portions. Very tasty toum too.

The best uncle, rated 100,000,000

€20 for a single grilled chicken? That's way too much... Just down the street, they're selling them for €9.95

Delicious food and perfect service

The best shawarma and broasted chicken in all of Europe! May God grant you success! The staff are also the best, and the service is excellent.

The food is clean and well-presented, and Chef Abu Omar is a legend! ♥️

This was the first time I came here, and also the very last. I ordered Grill B with fries, but received it with rice. I didn't say anything about that. What I do find really unfair, however, is the price: €24 + €3.25 = €27.25. Yet I paid €29. Furthermore, I unfortunately didn't like the food at all. For me, it is clear: first time here and immediately the last. I won't be coming back here.

🫰 👌 Delicious homemade Syrian food! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. Good portions.

The food was exquisitely delicious and fastly delivered. The staff is syrian, which indicates that the food is authentic, in addition they’re so friendly and they helped my friend choose what she wanted because it was her first time here. I highly recommend this traditional syrian restaurant.

The food was super tasty and prepared quickly. The staff were Syrian, which clearly shows that the food is authentic.

This was the worst shawrma I’ve ever ate in my life I got stomachache and it taste so bad I asked for extra pomegranate masala it didn’t had any and the taste of pickles was so bad Not recommended at all Also it took them too long to make two wraps around 35 minutes

The food is so delicious i’ve been eating here for almost 3 years now and the quality never changed it’s still as delicious 😋

The food is really tasty and the people who work here are really sweet and funny!

It was the most delicious food ever

Been here a few times, really love the shawarma, roast chicken, and adana! Wonderful service, would recommend coming here for sure!

The food was delicious and we also found the service very nice.

Delicious food and amazing service!

The most delicious shawarma, and the dreams of young people and the dreams of good service. May God bless you, my sisters, it looks divine.

The best shawarma in all of the Netherlands

Incredibly fast service and my kapsalon was ready within a few minutes. It was so fast that I expected it to be bad, but it's so delicious!

The food was very delicious, thank you.

The best guys and the tastiest shawarma in Syria

Superlative. The best wrap I've ever had. I keep coming back and recommending this place to everyone. Without a doubt, the best. Luckily, it's right next to my house. Chef's word!

Very friendly service and delicious food, thank you🥰🙏

These people take food seriously.

The food is delicious, everything is homemade, and it tastes great.

I swear to God, the worst shawarma in all of Europe.

The service is excellent and the taste is phenomenal; authentic Syrian food.

The shawarma is delicious, the restaurant is clean, and the service is good.

The best and most beautiful restaurant in the Netherlands, truly worth trying. The food is delicious.

The chicken is rotten, they didn't clean it inside, it's still dirty. The worst restaurant in the Netherlands.

The food tasted fine, but the portion was very disappointing. I think €9 for a shawarma sandwich is a lot for what you get. The sandwich was gone in no time. To be honest, I was surprised by the prices in relation to the amount of food.

High prices and the meat was not cooked properly. This is the last time I am going to this terrible restaurant.

The food was expensive and not tasty; I wouldn't want to go there again.

The worst food I've ever eaten, whether it's shawarma or chicken. The stench is so strong you can smell it from 500 meters away. I absolutely do not recommend it. (The person inside was very good), but the food tasted and smelled absolutely awful.

What an amazing place! Without a doubt, the tastiest Syrian shawarma in the area. Everything tastes super fresh, the meat is perfectly seasoned and deliciously tender. The garlic sauce and fresh vegetables also complete the experience. The staff are incredibly friendly, work quickly, and create a great atmosphere. The place is clean, the portions are generous, and the value for money is excellent. I have eaten shawarma in many places, but this one really stands head and shoulders above the rest. Highly recommended; I will definitely be back here more often!

A very bad experience. I ordered a roasted chicken, but unfortunately it had a rancid taste and the garlic was awful. I do not recommend it.

Halal food, new owner arrived Shawroma and grilled chicken

It means saffron, and whoever created saffron is tastier than my uncle's shawarma, and take a cold soda ❤️

Zafran Restaurant is one of the most beautiful restaurants I've visited. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, the staff are incredibly kind, and the atmosphere is comfortable and unique. I recommend everyone try it. **** Restaurant Zafran is een van de mooiste restaurants die ik heb bezocht. Het eten is heerlijk de service is uitstekend het personneleel is vriendelijk en de sfeer is warm en gezellig Ik raad iedereen aan om hier te eten

Wow, the shawarma is amazing and the place is clean 🤍🖤

Very good, tasty food for a good price

Very tasty food and the service is very good

Very tasty food and the service is perfect.

Very disappointed! I ordered food for 41€ and got almost nothing.. very poor value for money and disappointing customer service.

€41 for this is unacceptable!!!!The portions were far too small, the meat was dry, and the overall taste was disappointing. When we called the restaurant, they showed no interest in resolving the issue or offering any compensation, not even something as simple as extra rice. Very poor value for money and disappointing customer service. I cannot recommend this place. I feel scammed. I played 41€ for nothing. Never again !

Ordered here twice, and both times had to wait almost 2 hours for food.

The food, by God, is amazing! We came all the way from Buraydah to try it.

By God, it's something we came from Buraidah to try!

Great roast chicken and very good portions. I have a regular spot there now.

The best Syrian food restaurant in Arnhem

The food is more than wonderful, may God bless it.

Zaw başa, the most delicious food

I received a fine because I had to wait too long and the food was not tasty at all. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Great experience. Friendly staff, fast service, and delicious food.

Best Shawarma in Arnhem, maybe NL. The aioli is soo good

The food was very bad, especially the grilled meat and broasted chicken. The chicken was spoiled, and we told the restaurant owner, but he clearly did not take things seriously.

Bad experience, I do not recommend it.

Unfortunately, it was a bad experience. The delay was unjustified, as there was no crowd. I waited for approximately 45 minutes, and the prices were very high compared to other restaurants.

Ordered delivery via Thuis Bezorgd. My husband had already called about the shawarma and could barely understand them. Shawarma is not like we know it here! It consists of large, dry chicken slices (it is not stated that it is chicken), the fries were already cold, and the kapsalon was not tasty.

The best shawarma in the Netherlands 😋

This was my first time visiting the restaurant, and the food wasn't what I expected. The fattoush was awful; it was just lettuce. The hot whiskies were pre-made, and the restaurant simply told me not to order them if I hadn't prepared them myself.

He was so kind and amazing, he showed off his grandmother's clothes, but I wrote to his mother and he told me

The food is very delicious and tasty

The service is excellent and the food is very good.

Everyone's legendary, everyone's trying it, it's fire!

Wow, the organization, work, and staff were incredibly respectful. And the food... I don't even need to say more, it was amazing and delicious!

DO NOT BUY FOOD FROM THEM!!! I have a terrible stomach ache now because of that shawarma and there was no sauce, no pickles, nothing, just dry chicken. I have a terrible stomach ache now. I will never buy there again!! AND IT WAS DISGUSTING!! And prices are expensive. I couldn't keep eating; none of us had finished.

I came from 100 kilometers away just to try the food, and it was more than wonderful, may God bless it.

⚘️⚘️⚘️⚘️What great service and delicious food......

By far the tastiest chicken wrap in Arnhem

The food is good and the service is excellent, and hopefully this won't be my last visit.

This was my first time ordering from Saffraan: 2x Adana and 2x chicken fillet, shish tawook. I had to wait a total of 45 minutes longer for it to be delivered. In the end, I received something that didn't even look like the picture, so without bread or vegetables, even though they had added a photo to the website. I called them for the umpteenth time and this time said that I hadn't received what I saw in the photo. At first, the answer was "you get this if you order a menu," and when I said that it looks like this without a menu, he said "this is an old photo." I said that this is unacceptable, that I consider this a scam, and that I will never order from you again. His answer was "please." I ended up paying €35.

They are really very sweet, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious. Thank you very much!

Ordered online, waited more than an hour and a half, and then the food arrived ice cold, I had to throw it away, and Thuisbezorgd offered no solution.

20 euros for a dried-out, tasteless chicken.

The best restaurant in you, Arnem

The tastiest broasted chicken in Holland, top added

The food was awful, disgusting, and the bathrooms were incredibly revolting. The food was so over-spiced that even a small child couldn't eat it. The price was unreasonable, and the food quality was poor.

Good food and friendly staff, always good here.

Mashallah, I ate there today and everything was delicious and well-prepared.

They were very tasty and delicious.

God bless the clean and delicious food.

Delicious food, always good here

The shawarma was overcooked and tasted like pomegranate molasses and was drowning in mayonnaise, but to be fair, the service was excellent and the young men were very respectful and helpful.

The shawarma is burnt and absolutely not worth the effort.
