Simple in atmosphere, but good! and lots of choice, parking with a blue card

For over 42 euros, a bad experience. No bread beforehand, cutlery late, no attention to the salad, snacks overcooked, fries in a container with very little satay sauce (instead of a plate), stewed meat in a tray but I asked for a small container and not a large one (it was in a new tray with the sales plastic still stuck on it). Afterwards, I mentioned all of this (hadn't seen anyone earlier to report it), response: "Yeah, it is busy and the staff is on vacation!!!" No further explanation or apology, but what a missed opportunity.

There are always a bunch of grumpy people working there. When you walk in, they completely ignore you at first, only to eventually ask what you want. If you don't feel like doing your job, just quit. When football is on, they would rather be watching football; the terrace is already tied up at 20:30 even though it says you are open until 21:30.. our idea was to grab a nice drink and an ice cream and then sit on the terrace for a bit to enjoy it.

Yesterday, after a funeral, the four of us went for an ice cream to unwind. There were ashtrays on the table outside, so I lit a cigarette and was subsequently treated very rudely and disrespectfully by a young guy. He was bothered by the smoke inside; well, really. I would have gladly moved a table over, but the way he said it left a lot to be desired. No respect for older people anymore. Sorry, I just had to get that off my chest.

Everything was great. The drinks, the excellent service, and the friendly staff.

Last week, I sat on the terrace in the sunshine with a cappuccino and a glass of soda.

Paid 45 euros for 2 nasty kapsalons and 2 iced teas. Extremely expensive for what you get in return. The kapsalon was inedible too. The fries they have are good, but the cheese and meat on top were not tasty. Now, a few hours later, I don't have a stomach ache, so that's worth mentioning. €4.50 for 200ml of iced tea is ridiculous. The service was friendly.

I went to pick up dinner on a Friday afternoon to eat with my brother and my parents. Then I ordered this: 2 fries with satay sauce 1 fry with ketchup The order was ready pretty quickly, and when I got home with the food, we got 2 fries with satay sauce and 1 with mayo, even though we had ketchup. The mayonnaise was really bad, and the satay sauce tasted like mud. Plus, the fries weren't even cooked properly.

On a Saturday evening, we walked in on a whim with a large group to grab a bite to eat. We were warmly welcomed, and they immediately started thinking along with us. After a table was prepared for us, we were quickly served a tasty appetizer, and the food was ready just as fast. Thank you so much for the great service, people at 't Pleintje. You made our evening!

Nice place. We've been coming here for years. Never made a reservation, and despite the crowds, there was always a spot to be found or created. Good, friendly service, time for a chat, and a small ice cream afterwards. Takeaway is also fine; often busy, but waiting times are very reasonable.

Contrary to other reviews, the food was delicious! We received a baguette with herb butter and a small ice cream with goat's leg sauce. The service was quick and extremely friendly! The summer weather made it a lovely place to eat outside. We'll definitely be back!

I got fries here again last week and didn't like them. I think the quality of the fries is lower than it was a few years ago. It's a real shame.

Expensive with terrible service!!!! (We've been coming here for over 25 years, never experienced this before. This really bothers us, hence the review.) We both ordered regular fries, once with one snack, and once with multiple snacks. We received a large portion of fries with one snack. The other portion of fries was halved (small bowl), with snacks served separately on a separate plate. I spoke to the waitress about it, and she went to get a colleague. The waitress told us that a portion of fries with multiple snacks is always served that way. She could clearly see the difference, but that's just how it is served! To keep the annoying story short, the waitress became rude, after having already explained it twice... She walked away. A (very young) colleague came back a little later to ask if everything was to our liking. Well, NO... (the young man can't help it)! I didn't see or speak to anyone again... Worthless!!!!!! I'm never coming back here again, and I don't recommend it to anyone.

Delicious food. The sandwiches and rolls are truly fantastic. The fries are really fresh, and they're always super fast.

Just got fries and it's not difficult to screw up fresh fries

I've been here a few times during the events we organize. Each time with 15-20 people. That way, you fill up your savings card quickly. Today, I wanted to redeem it, and I was told the boss had decided it couldn't be redeemed. I checked the terms and conditions but couldn't find anything about it expiring. I told him I found this strange, but the boss had made the decision. Consumer fraud. I won't be coming here again.

We ordered a regular cola and a rosé beer and received a zero cola and a liefmans. With dinner we ordered a cervela which, just like last time, was thrown into the frying basket with plastic by the same cheeky young lady with a blonde tail. When my husband indicated that, just like last time when she was also corrected by her colleague, he would rather not have plastic on his food, she started the fight instead of removing the plastic. According to her, the plastic fell off in the grease, she said angrily. After this she started gossiping audibly with her colleague. When she stood at the table with the fries a little later and asked who the fries with sweet mayonnaise were for and my husband said that we had both ordered Belgian mayonnaise, she turned her eyes to her colleague. If you want to have a nice lunch, I would skip this place.

Friendly atmosphere with attention to customers and their wishes.

What an unpleasant man is standing behind the counter. When I asked at the counter if I should order there (due to lack of service at my table), I received the answer that he did not come to my table because I was on the phone. It's fine that he waits, but to speak to customers in such a rude manner is extremely customer unfriendly. We walked on to a few doors down where there were friendly people and much better quality! Big tip: skip this substandard chip shop and walk to Lekker&Makkelijk! There you can get a fresh Italian ball of carpaccio for less than 4 euros. Top!

Geweldig goede cafetaria op goede locatie met ruime parkeergelegenheid. Heerlijke friet ( evt. met topping) en prima snacks. Je wordt geholpen door vriendelijk personeel. En het gaat er razend snel. Prima dus!

Uitstekende friet en snacks, en snelle service. De prijs is gemiddeld. Wel is het afhankelijk bij wie je besteld, hoe vol de bak met friet wordt gevuld. De ene schept er beduidend meer in vergeleken met de ander.

Eten was wel okay. Maar als je maar 2 tafels hoef te bedienen van totaal 4 klanten en je bent met 3 personen bedienend personeel.Betreurenswaardig dat je dan na het eten en half uur moet wachten voor je borden weer worden afgehaald.EN DAARNA WEER VOOR TOETJE. Geen meer genomen.

Alles veel te lang gebakken. Friet kon je als spijkers gebruiken en de snacks waren zo droog als een noot......jammer.

Nou supermooie tent, jammer van de bediening. Aardig maar spreken geen Nederlands. 10 minuten bezig om te bestellen. 2 snacks en handje friet 11,95 zo betalen we de verbouwing snel terug. Kipsate was goed, snacks beiden koud van binnen.

Met de fietsclub worden we altijd vriendelijk ontvangen. Goede koffie en lekkere appeltaart, en niet te vergeten de warme chocolademelk is ook een topper.

De snackbar ziet er super uit van binnen, maar dat was het ook, Braadworst word in gesneden maakt hem erg droog patat heel hard gebakken en de prijs schrik je ook van. Niet mijn ding deze snackbar.

Fijn plek om hier te komen lekker binnen zitten. Lekker koffie drinken beetje appen en dan ergens verder lopen. Qua eten - beter nie. Niet naar mijn smaak, voor 7 euro krijg je nog geen goede burger. Rundvlees burger (vlees zelf) heeft een nare smaak. Broodje is gwn te droog. Goedkoopste rundgehakt die je kan zelf bij de Jumbo in de buurt kopen en kaiser broodje is wat lekkerder. Echt opletten!

Die man die in de keuken werkt is zeer onvriendelijk tijdens de telefonische bestelling moest het allemaal sneller anders werd er voortaan geen bestelling meer van ons aangenomen zeer onvriendelijk tegen zijn personeel

Logica ontbreekt bij deze cafetaria wat mij betreft. Als je wilt bestellen moet je voorbij de kassa, verbaal bestellen, vervolgens wachten bij de kassa en opnieuw je bestelling doorgeven. Vervolgens zie je al het personeel kris kros door elkaar lopen in plaats van ieder zijn/haar taak oppakken (1 iemand friet, 1 snacks, 1 kassa, 1 inpakken). Chaotisch is een understatement. Ondanks dit alles is de friet wel erg smakelijk en kun je gezellig buiten zitten.

Fijne plek om lekker te eten voor een goeie prijs. Grote porties en er staat veel op het menu om uit te kiezen.
