Today I had breakfast again with the family at Eethuis Toros. We met the new owners, who were incredibly friendly and professional. Everything was deliciously fresh, and we'll definitely be back!

I went there with a little friend and we had a great meal. We now regularly have breakfast there and are regular customers 100%

Finding a spot for a cup of coffee and a restroom at 1:30 PM on a weekday in Enschede's Brouwersplein is no easy task. The Hema is tiny, with no restaurant and a terrace on a corner. There were chairs outside with a sign, but it was also closed. But a little further on, another terrace, number 28, was Toros. There were people sitting there, who turned out to be the waitstaff. Are you open? Yes, of course, take a seat. After a long drive, I wanted a cup of coffee, and when I got back from the restroom, I saw a delicious buffet, but with items I hadn't seen before. It turned out to be a Turkish breakfast buffet, and my coffee wasn't even on the menu. When I went to pay for it, it was on the house! That's why I'm writing this review. The food looked delicious, the staff were very friendly, and the service was unparalleled.

We have been coming to this breakfast restaurant for years and have always had good experiences in the past. The buffet is good and we have never had any problems with the owner before. Two weeks ago, however, the owner started making inappropriate comments towards my 24-year-old sister. For example, he repeatedly asked if she was single. Today he clearly crossed the line: he literally said that he wanted to marry her, and repeated that he would do so as soon as he was divorced. In our culture, these kinds of comments are absolutely inappropriate. I respectfully indicated this to him and made it clear that we do not appreciate this. Unfortunately, this boundary was not respected. Instead of understanding, he again showed transgressive behavior. He also made a comment towards me, supposedly as a joke, that I “deserved to be single”. I again indicated that these kinds of comments are not appropriate, but he continued to insist that he “always makes such jokes with customers” – without any understanding for the fact that not everyone accepts this. When paying, he made another derogatory remark and when I clearly indicated that I found his behavior unprofessional, he became angry. He pressed the receipts into my hand and gestured for me to leave. When I then confronted him about his behavior, including the fact that he makes such remarks to someone 15 years younger, he seemed mainly concerned that other customers heard this. Outside, he spoke to us, angry that I had “embarrassed” him by raising my voice – while the whole incident could have been avoided if he had simply respected our boundaries. Eventually, he banned me. It was striking that several customers outside indicated that they also found his behavior inappropriate. If there had been a sincere apology in the first place, it probably would not have escalated so much. Unfortunately, the owner chose to persist instead of taking responsibility. That is, in my opinion, extremely unprofessional behavior.

I WENT WITH TWO, I WANTED TO HAVE BREAKFAST ALONE, MY FRIENDS WERE NOT HUNGRY BECAUSE THEY ALREADY ATE BREAKFAST AT HOME, WE ASKED PLEASED THAT I WOULD HAVE BREAKFAST ALONE, THEY ONLY WANTED TO DRINK TEA AND WE WANTED TO PAY FOR THAT SEPARATELY, I COULD NOT EITHER PAY OR WAIT OUTSIDE (JUST LIKE A DOG), too bad for a hospitable entrepreneur !!!!!!!!!

This place deserves a solid 4! Such an authentic experience of food and people. If you love Turkish cuisine, this all you can eat brunch is for you!!

The staff is unfriendly, the food was not fresh. There was hair in my egg and the tables are too close together.

The staff who work there are not friendly and do not speak politely to each other. The atmosphere is just not right, and the tables are too close together. There is not enough room to sit comfortably.

I came there quite often, but it's just a shame that the staff is so eager to get orange juice, I wasn't even sitting on the chair yet and it was immediately offered at breakfast as if it was a friendly thing on their part and of course you just have to pay for it later. Then put it in the refrigerator with other drinks where customers know it costs money. Or at least don't charge anything if you kindly offer someone something yourself. Earned a few euros more, but lost a regular customer. Shame

What delicious food and super varied. Friendly people and a beautiful business! The portions are also really great when you pick up instead of eating on location!

Breakfast was tasty, but for us 45 euros for breakfast is too expensive, so unfortunately it was the last time for us.

My husband and I went at least once a month and we love the food and the attention! Such a lovely people who works there!

We where there for breakfast. This was our first time, but it was a very nice experiance. They have everything you need for a very good breakfast (all you can eat). Like menemen, egg with Sucuk, they even made bread without sesam as my wife is allergic. Tea as much you can drink. Only softdrinks you need to pay extra. This all for about 16,00 per person.

Tasty food, very nice staff and owner!

For a good, tasty and hearty breakfast/lunch/brunch, Toros is the right place for you. Based on Turkish specialties with some Western additions. They have a terrace where you can enjoy breakfast outside in the summer months. Atmosphere is cozy and welcoming and the staff is very friendly. You feel at home and that's good.

Once and never again, bad service and hosts. Found a nail in my food and indicated that I had it in my mouth. I was then told that it could happen and that there was nothing they could do for me. I thought this was so bad and I received no apology from the owner. Once and never again.

Bright blue sky... The sun is shining and I just deviated from my usual path... Turkish breakfast in buffet form. Clearly tasty selection and a typical ambience. Unfortunately I didn't like the coffee. Kept warm for too long and the pot stuck to the bottom of the coffee machine. During the time I was there there was no fresh cooking but neither was it used by the guests!! I don't think people drink a lot of coffee there and a Senseo would be worth it ☕😉 I still liked it and the things that were offered tasted good to me.

The ladies are very welcoming and offered a great and helpful service. The buffet selection looks small, but the quality is really incredible!! Next to the items at the buffet, they bring you bread, potatoes, Menemen and Eggs with Sucuk. I genuinely enjoyed every single item I tried it and it was a tasty experience 😋 Tea, Coffee, and soup are also included in the deal but other drinks cost extra. We additionally ordered orange juice and it was the best (it seemed like it was freshly squeezed). In the end we had full bellies and will certainly be back again :)!

All you can eat mit Tee und Kaffee im Preis inbegriffen. Türkisches Frühstück, was sehr lecker ist. Auch das Brot ist teilweise selbst gebacken. Der Preis ist vollkommen in Ordnung.

De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en maakt graag een praatje met z’n gasten! De sfeer is geweldig en wordt warm ontvangen en bediend, het is echt “u vraagt, wij draaien”!! Het eten is top, van broodjes tot de salade! Een ontbijt ervaring waar je u tegen zegt!!

Ein gutes Frühstücksbuffet, alles frisch und schmeckt sehr gut

15€ für so wenig auswahl ist deginitiv zu viel. O-Saft und Wasser kosten extra, Brot und sucuk gibt es nur auf Nachfrage extra. Für zwei Personen gab es ein Schälchen mit Bratkartoffeln was nicht mal eine ein personportion war.....Da gibt es weitaus bessere Frühstücksangebote in Enschede und Umgebung.

Çeşitlilik anlamında vasat. Açık büfe kahvaltı sunan ve fiyat olarak da aynı fiyata sahip başka bir restoranda hem çeşitlilik daha fazla hem de çok daha geniş. İnsanlar ile iç içe yemek yemesi hoş değil. İşletme sahibinin üslûbuna bakılacak olursa eleştiriye hiç tahammülü yok. Anladığım kadarıyla sadece kendisi için olumlu olan yorumlar hoşuna gidiyor. Olumsuz bir yoruma tahammülü yok. Bu şekilde ticaret yapılmaz, yanlış yaptığınızı düşünüyorum.

Heerlijk gegeten, betaalbaar en vers buffet. Leuke Turkse gerechten met Turkse thee. Bediening erg vriendelijk en je kunt zowel binnen als buiten zitten.

Heerlijk traditioneel Turks eten. Tegen een hele lage prijs. Ze gebruiken exact dezelfde smaak/kruiden zoals je thuis gewend bent in de Turkse keuken! Echt een aanrader.

Prima gevarieerd buffet met voor ieders wat wils. Erg lekker en veel te veel. Heerlijke authentieke Turkse gerechten uit zuid Turkije. Warm familiebedrijf met hoffelijke service. Absolute aanrader voor wie eens wat anders wil serveren thuis. Verwacht geen kebab of shoarma. Maar heerlijke couscous in wijnbladeren en heerlijke kipschotels en salades. De macaroni schotel met joghurtdressing is een echte aanrader. De Turkse pizza ook verrukkelijk.
