The service was good but we didn't like the food very much. The Adana was good but the lahmacun and doner were not tasty. I think the rice had bouillon added to it.

I loved the food; it was so freshly grilled and generous portions, especially Lahmacun. It's so delicious, and what I like about it is that it's not like other places where they serve you frozen ones. The staff is friendly. I wonder why it has some bad reviews the place is amazing

I had dinner there during April. Food was delicious, halal, and very big-portioned. Servers were kind and the environment was very nice. As a Turkish person, I felt super welcomed and like back at home 😊 Highly recommend.

It was the worst meal I have ever eaten in my life.. A bone was coming out of the kebab and the owner got up and said it was minced meat and said they were proud. We were scolded by the owner, who I cannot call a lady, for asking what we should do. It is a disgraceful place in itself. I do not recommend it to anyone!!!

It was said that it came with salad... A tiny bowl with some pieces of iceberg lettuce and a stray piece of tomato or something like that. Garlic sauce seemed like thick mayo with little garlic and the rolled 'pancake' was dry at the end. The lamb was tasty, but what a travesty. Aibo.

I ordered on December 31, 2024 at 3:45 PM and had waited more than an hour and a half. Then I tried to contact them and there was no answer, so I checked the website and guess what? They were suddenly closed after my order. So I tried to call again, but was not answered again, so I tried again the next day, but it turned out that they were closed for three days and did not contact me back. I then received the money back for the order, but not the money for the transaction costs, and I still did not receive a call back after trying to reach them several times. Finally on Friday January 3, I managed to reach them only to get an arrogant woman on the phone without any difference in empathy or service who apologized in a hypocritical way that clearly came across as sarcastic. After I seemed angry, the lady suggested what a solution could be to apologize on behalf of the business. I suggested that I still get the meal since the mistake was theirs and I have not heard anything back 3 days after my order. What is the lady's reaction next: "HAHAHAHAHA", well what a service. No order received, no contact, no apologies offered and then being laughed at. Ridiculous service! And an arrogant woman on the line.

Hello guys, I often come here for breakfast. Today I was there with my wife for the evening. We ordered something per person for 19 euros and a few things on the side. I was really shocked for 19 euros there was hardly anything on the tray, only bread cut into small pieces and hardly any Meat. I thought there wasn't any. And then I ordered köfte, which was raw inside. I told the waiter that to the boss. She probably didn't give a shit what the customers did say. She wasn't coming. Thought ok, go to her and wanted to pay and told her what was wrong. She started to argue. There's no way you can discuss something like that with customers. I was a regular customer there for breakfast That's all sorted out now. She should learn when a customer is dissatisfied to accommodate him instead of arguing. I'll never eat there again. Apparently she doesn't need it anymore and she's probably fed up!!!

Dit is mijn nieuwe favoriete Turkse restaurant in Enschede! De keuze is reuze en waar dat normaal geen goed teken is mbt kwaliteit is dat hier geen probleem! Ik ben hier nu al vaker geweest en geniet elke keer weer! (Meerdere soorten mix grills) heerlijke voorgerechten en ik ga hier nog heel vaak genieten! Dat er veel Turkse mensen zitten te eten zegt genoeg! De bediening is ook erg goed, de dames werken hard en zijn vriendelijk

I don't think Zeytin is a Turkish restaurant, first of all they are not hospitable and the food, what can I say, is not tasty. Definitely don't recommend.

I have now been here 3 times at the request of friends and I think this is really one of the best Turkish restaurants in Enschede! The food is delicious, the service is quick and it is affordable!

Altijd ontzettend tevreden over dit restaurant, ik en mijn man komen hier graag en nemen graag onze vrienden, familie of kinderen mee naar toe. Het eten is altijd lekker, je krijgt een goede portie en het is betaalbaar. Een fijn avondje uit eten dus en ook zeker altijd voor herhaling vatbaar. Ze zijn ook altijd erg vriendelijk en denken mee. We waren er ook eens tijdens de ramadan en toen werd de ezan afgespeeld, er stond een dadel en een glas water klaar voor diegene die het vasten moest verbreken, erg respectvol! Dat maakte het restaurant zeer waardig in mijn ogen.

The food is nice and delicious but I didn't like the behavior of the employees. The old woman broke our hearts. Most likely, we will not go again, but it's not certain. Who knows, maybe our decision may change. Additionally, the interior theme of the restaurant is entirely brown. The tables and chairs should be more modern. Also, there are no pictures on the menu and no details are stated.

I chose mixed grill zeytin. This dish contains different meats. This includes rice, potatoes and unlimited black tea. The price quality is good.

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Enschede. Really generous amount of food and good prices. The drinks are a bit expensive and they serve 200ml portions. I would suggest to serve 330ml portions and lower the drink prices a bit.

We got doner with tomato sauce here, which was supposed to represent iskendir. The doner smelled like wet dog and is not suitable for human consumption. It smelled like rotten meat. The older woman behind the Bali with short blond hair is aggressive and rude to customers. I put the food in the freezer and am now working on the food and safety inspection to send it to them. Be very careful when you eat here. It could be your last meal.

Despite there being hardly any guests, the service was completely overwhelmed. Dirty glasses arrived, dirty cutlery, etc. Food came very late and wasn't a highlight (okay, edible, but that certain something was missing). Since parking spaces here are pretty rare other than the parking garage, it is not recommended, even if it is one of the few Turkish restos nearby.

During the weekends they have a nice all you can eat breakfast. Their lentils soup is super good

Very good food. It tastes very good. We went during Ramadan, and they had the athan and gave us water and dates. Something you only find back home in the Middle East. Also they offer free tea at the end and a mezza at the start which is also something found in middle Eastern hospitality so good job. Food portions are not the largest, so If you like to eat a lot I recommend the pizzas or else maybe beyti kofta, which I feel like is an ok portion in my opinion. Prices are on the expensive side, however you will receive tasty food and a good service in return. Also if you look into the online menu you can clearly see there are some cheap options that you can pick and others that are way more expensive. Don't forget to reserve a place as it can get busy depending on the time and date.

Very nice people, with a heart for their company and their customers, food is always delicious, staff always friendly even though they are sometimes extremely busy. We were able to eat our iftar with them during Ramadan and there was neat water and a date ready, and the ezan was also played. It was treated very nicely and respectfully, including by Dutch customers. We have been coming to you for years and this will continue to be the case insallah. Thank you!

At first we were surprised at what a beautiful atmosphere this location has, but that was about it. Then it started: Lahmacun was like microwaved food, rice was ok, potatoes were overspiced and the chicken was old and inedible. When I looked at the table next door the plates were still full, no one wants to eat this food because it is just bad. There was a piece of plastic from the packaging in the salad. When I politely sent the meat back, the waitress was annoyed and at the checkout I mentioned that the meat was no longer good, if I actually had to pay for it the waitress, who was probably the boss, said that of course I had to pay for it. (I only bit into it once and of course didn't eat the rest because that would be harmful to my health) I think this restaurant is really not good. The operators are not capable of running a restaurant and should either make drastic changes or take up another job. no go

Aller allerbeste restaurant van heel Enschede! Ik kom er al jaren en nu ook met mijn Turkse man! Tegenwoordig bestellen we ook! Vandaag hadden we Iskender, Beyti en Kelle Corba. De smaak was overheerlijk, alles was uitgebreid en het eten kwam gewoon niet warm maar heet aan. Het eten smaakt precies zoals in het restaurant en dat maak ik nooit mee met andere restaurants. 10 numara!

The staff is very rude, i was having food in the restaurant and a male muslim wanted to pray in the restaurant. one of the staff sayd sure you can pray over here, and suddenly the female owner screams to the muslim male that he can not pray in her restaurant and kicked him out.... Al paar jaar trouwe klant bij zeytin, maar na vandaag niet meer. Ik bestel altijd adana kebab maar vandaag kreeg ik hem echt rauw bezorgd, hij stonk en was slijmerig. Ik heb gebeld en kreeg als aanbod een kip schotel bezorgd, omdat ze geen adana meer hadden en ze hem moest mee nemen om te controleren of ik wel de waarheid sprak. Ik bood aan om een foto te sturen, maar dat geloofde ze niet (ik gaf aan dat mijn kinderen ziek waren en ik geen zin had om weer 3 kwartier te wachten en ik houd ook niet van kip). Ik heb gevraagd of ik anders gewoon volgende keer een nieuwe mocht. Medewerker beschuldigde mij ervan dat ik op gratis voedsel uit was. Ook geloofde ze niet dat haar eten rauw kon zijn. Ik schrijf normaal geen recensies maar hoe ik vandaag behandeld ben is zwaar onterecht en teleurstellend. Ook gaf de medewerker lacherig aan dat ik maar slechte recensies moest gaan schrijven. Nou bij deze

Vandaag werd ik tijdens het online afrekenen plotseling geconfronteerd met een additionele euro bovenop het bestelbedrag (wat al inclusief bezorgkosten was). Nogmaals de orderbevestiging doorlopen. Nergens melding van die extra euro. Besloten om te bellen. Ik had het geweten. De jongeman die ik maar niet aan zijn verstand kon brengen dat het zacht uitgedrukt opmerkelijk is te noemen om één euro extra afgeschreven te zien worden van je rekening, terwijl de orderbevestiging dat nergens vermeld. Of sterker nog, terwijl aan het einde van het bestelproces nergens melding wordt gemaakt van die extra één euro. Je zou kunnen zeggen: het is maar één euro, waar maak je je druk om. Nou, als ik ter plekke zou afrekenen en ik kwam één euro tekort, zou ik dan zomaar het restaurant uit mogen lopen? Dacht het niet. Verder, en wat mij enorm steekt was de arrogante houding van de jongeman aan de telefoon. Ondanks mijn zoveelste verwijzing naar het verschil tussen orderbevestiging en mijn bankafschrijving, wilde/kon hij niet snappen wat mijn punt was. Daarop zei ik dat ik het wel zo netjes zou vinden als hij mij mijn verhaal zou kunnen laten doen zonder interrupties of aannames van zijn kant. Toen ik aangaf dat ik ontevreden was over zijn verklaring waarom ze één extra afschrijven zonder duidelijke vermelding vooraf, voelde ik een zekere irritatie bij hem wat mij ertoe bewoog om de bestelling maar te annuleren. Hij voegde daar gelijk aan toe dat hij dan maar ook mag aannemen dat ik vandaag voor het laatst bij ze zou hebben besteld. Daar sta je dan met je telefoon in je hand. Je gelooft niet wat je hoort. Onbeschoft dat het is. De eigenaresse nam het gelijk van hem over en probeerde de schade beperkt te houden. Helaas refereerde zij aan een expliciete vermelding op de bestelsite van die ene extra euro bij betaling middels iDeal. Erg vreemd, ik bestel namelijk al meer dan vijf jaar op dezelfde manier. Nooit zat er een verschil tussen de bankafschrijving en hun orderbevestiging. Tot vandaag dus. Conclusie is dat ik waarschijnlijk nooit erachter ga komen waarom/waarvoor ze die ene extra euro berekenen. Wel weet ik een ding zeker, door de onbeschofte, met aannames doordrenkte houding van de beste jongeman, hebben ze in een telefoongesprek een klantrelatie van meer dan vijf jaar om zeep geholpen. Een advies wil ik ze wel meegeven. De medewerkers die de telefoon aannemen en daarmee in directe contact staan met de klanten mogen periodiek bijgespijkerd worden op het gebied van klantvriendelijk. Gelukkig zijn er andere zo niet betere alternatieve turkse restaurants waar klantvriendelijkheid WEL hoog in het vaandel staat.
