Delicious fries, large portions and a super sweet woman who helped us

Just the way a chip shop should be. No hassle with touchscreen junk, just a good old-fashioned, typical Dutch chip shop, just the way I like it. The owner was incredibly friendly and hard-working. The snacks came straight from the fryer, and they're generous with the mayo; I got a good chat with my little one. Absolutely nothing to complain about, definitely recommended! A GREAT PLACE!

These are people who work seriously and hard, and it shows in EVERYTHING. My compliments. They're definitely in Tilburg's top 5.

The cafeteria says it closes at half past 9, but we were there at 10 past 9 and they didn't want to help us anymore, very bad.

We've been coming here since we were kids...about 60 years! Why!? T is simply the best and tastiest chip shop in Tilburg. All the products still have exactly the same recipe as at the time at Jo, Michel Marian. It looks like this too...and it tastes delicious! My preference is the fries stew with mayo. (Big) you need a lot of food! Tasty. Very clean everything and very friendly staff!

I have been coming to this beautiful and fantastic chip shop ever since I was a little boy. The staff is incredibly friendly and offers the best fries in the Netherlands and surrounding areas. Never want to lose this chip shop again in my life!❤️

Good food and if you eat it there you get regular cutlery with your food. It's wonderful not to have to eat with wooden cutlery. Very friendly service.

Eetsalon Van Gool offers a classic snack bar experience without long waiting times, which is nice if you want a quick bite to eat. The food is excellent and meets what you would expect from a cafeteria, with a good selection of snacks and fries. The prices are also good.

Excellent dining experience for a cheap price. Why not 5 stars on everything: 1. Sauce goes over fries instead of on the side, so some of your fries are completely covered. 2. Frikandel is served in a paper bag, so half of it is on the table when it is delivered (yes, it was delivered to the table!) 3. Few seating areas, which are mainly used by people ordering takeaways. Why so many stars: 1. Good food, fries were nice salty (not much, not little). 2. Judging by the patronage on Sunday evenings, it is very popular with locals. 3. Everything looks very clean. 4. Metal cutlery available (but please return it), no rickety wooden fork that breaks immediately 5. Not expensive, especially for what you get. 6. Friendly staff, but efficient in communication. 7. Helped quickly, food ready quickly (especially with how many people ordered) In short: Simon says Do it!

Came here by chance because my wife had an examination in the outpatient clinic. The food was delicious. Had Chinese food there. The food was particularly good. The service was also good, but the atmosphere of the dining area could still be improved. It looks too much like an extended part of the chip shop. Nice people, I think.

I thought I had already found a place with the tastiest stew, but Van Gool has everything!! Homemade, delicious meat, the way it should be. Case very clean. Friendly staff. This will be my regular chip shop😊

Beste frietjes, stoofvlees en kroketten

Kwaliteit van (verse) friet is hier top en het personeel is enorm aardig. Het vinden van een parkeerplaats in de straat is alleen simpelweg niet te doen.

Extremely cozy and familial store, very nice place for a quick stop for some good quality food, if I'm in Tilburg again I'll happily come around again. Much nicer than any big chain stores or restaurants. Extremely interesting disges that you can buy instead of snacks, for example a chicken schnitzel with salad and fries or chicken saté, even a gyros.
