The food is delicious. The service is terrible. They don't clean the tables, they don't even clear them when they're full. I won't be coming back because of the service.

After a very positive previous experience, we returned here, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The wait was long (even though we'd told them we didn't have one), and when the food finally arrived after an hour and a half, we had to leave. We quickly grabbed a few bites and took an overly tired child home. Almost all of our food was thrown away, but I have to say, the quality was also very disappointing compared to the first time. An expensive evening that we look back on with a bad feeling. Such a shame.

To be fair...the dishes are truly delicious. Service...let's just say they lack experience. Empty plates were still on the table when, after a long wait, the next course arrived. They don't scan tables to see if guests are interested in ordering another drink. Worst of all...three of the four main courses we ordered arrived, and the fourth took a very long time to arrive, so you still end up eating despite everything. The fourth main course didn't come out until everyone had already finished their plates and we had decided to pay and go home. Tables around us also had to wait a long time for their orders, and one table even went to the bar to get another drink.

The Netherlands offers a quality that surpasses Turkish restaurant culture. It's not a place suitable for families with children or those looking to fill their stomachs. It's a unique place for dining and enjoying it. With a few more professional staff, it could be the only restaurant in the Netherlands of its kind. Congratulations!

Ege is a cozy Turkish restaurant. The owner runs the kitchen, and an English-speaking family member serves. Both are friendly and welcoming. I've been there twice now, and the Turkish dishes are authentic and incredibly delicious. You can make it as expensive as you like. A set menu is very affordable, while the a la carte options are a bit more expensive. The quality and flavor are exceptional, and the Turkish wines are top-notch! I had a Chardonnay, and it was delicious. Opposite the restaurant, there's a small shop with Turkish delicacies, and I'll definitely check it out.

Yesterday, we had dinner and drinks with 12 people, including 5 children. It was a wonderful time! The food was delicious and there was something for everyone. Congratulations!

A wonderful restaurant with a wonderful presentation of delicious chef's plates.

Near perfect presentation and spot on with flavours. The Meze, the main course everything was delicious. You could tell there was effort put into getting the flavours right. Visit #2 : we tried Zukini and it's flower. Lamb chops.

There was only one baby high chair in the restaurant and it was full. The food came very late. We asked many times and they said it was not our turn. Unfortunately, the children ate their fill of bread and could not eat their food when it arrived.

As a Turkish, i have tried dishes I have never tried before such as Hurrem dolmasi. All delicious, romantic environment, beautiful Turkish music! Ege region is one of my favorite regions popular with Raki and Meze culture. I recommend To all who wants to try Turkish cuisine :)

Excellent food is always made fresh on order. Serving bread, mushrooms and oilives while you wait makes time for socializing at your table.

What a mess it is. Tuesday evening, it was busy, but the fact that after 1.5 hours still no meze (cold starter, ready, just needs to be served) is very bad. No one says anything or anything like that. No herb butter sandwich or anything that can get rid of it. Just wait for your food with a glass of drink. After 1.5 hours of deciding to leave, you still have to pay for your drinks. P.s. meze was only the starter. We probably wouldn't have received the main course until tomorrow! Ballet tent, I will never come there again...

I have eaten Turkish in several European cities, but nothing beats Ege. This restaurant simply deserves a Michelin star. You notice in everything that the food is prepared with love and that the owner practices his profession with love and passion.

It is a very atmospheric Turkish restaurant, suitable for family gatherings or celebrating anniversaries. The overall taste of the dishes is very good. The only drawback is that the tableside service requires a long wait due to lack of manpower, which is a bit close to that of a French restaurant. The speed of the meal. If there is no one to chat with, it is not recommended to eat alone. It was already dark after the meal. The service staff were very nice. They would ask for every dish to confirm whether they were satisfied. We ordered two main courses, one was grilled steak and the other It is 4 mixed meat grill, the portion is just right and the taste is great. I will come again next time!

Restaurant Ege is without a doubt the best Turkish restaurant in the Netherlands. The warm welcome, authentic atmosphere, and above all, the exceptional dishes make every visit a culinary experience. From the tender lamb chops to the perfectly seasoned mezze, everything has been taken care of down to the last detail. An absolute must for lovers of Turkish cuisine!

Loved the experience. Felt very welcome in the venue and treated well. Food and experience was great. If you order a main meal you get freshly baked warm turkish bread as a starter for the table and some cooked mushrooms with warm cheese to enjoy with the bread. The meat was really good in the main meals too. I will definitely return for more dinners.

The free starter mushrooms with melted cheese and delicious bread promised a great meal. Unfortunately, the main meal was really bland and the little bit pricey meat overdone. They also promised potatoes with vegetables. This dish was undercooked and bland as well. We won't be going back for more....

Authentic turkish dishes - made to order restaurant - visit when you have all the time to spend over a beer or wine with their delicious mezes (starters) - the main courses are a real treat - must try!

Best and only poor Turkish culinary restaurant in Eindhoven. Menu very well chosen by Ottoman cuisine. They take time, all dishes come and made with special details. Therefore, it is very tasty. The service is offered by a gentleman that does his job with love. Every dish was served beautifully and its taste was wonderful. We ordered two entrances and two main dishes and it was more than enough. Octopus and meat were deliciously prepared.

High quality and very tasty authentic Turkish cuisine; I went here with Turkish people. Despite the good food, I rate the service lower because of the long waiting time for the food to arrive.

We went there a couple of weeks ago with 7 people. First of all they couldn't take the orders properly. They served the appetizers for the half of the people first. Then served the main dish for the same half of the people. After that they served the appetizers for the other half and main dishes for the rest. We waited too long for the food. Since they made this mistake service was much much slower. When the waitress asked us how the meal was I complained about the situation. Although I did it in a very polite way she suddenly became quite defensive and aggressive. I would never go there again.

Starters and Main courses were all delicious, they combine traditional Turkish meals with a modern touch, the only thing I can be critical about is the size of portions, it could be a bit more generous.

Ging hier altijd graag heen maar sinds de laatste keer niet meer. Hele kleine porties voor heel lang wachten en veel geld. Rijst krijg je er niet eens meer bij. Kregen het verkeerde gerecht wat na een hap genomen te hebben duidelijk werd. Dit gerecht was blijkbaar voor de buren die dit gewoon doorgeschoven kregen. Aangegeten en wel!

Gepassioneerde mensen die je graag in een wereld van de Turkse cuisine onderdompelen. Dit komt terug in zowel de tijd die ze nemen om een overheerlijk gerecht op tafel te zetten, als in de ambiance. Het restaurant is met zorg en detail ingericht. We hebben een romantische avond gehad en ik voelde me verwend. Een tip aan het restaurant is om wat aan de communicatie te werken. Die verliep niet altijd even soepel. De vis en het kalf waren overheerlijk bereid. Zeker een aanrader om hier te gaan eten. Het is een bijzondere ervaring in de Turkse cultuur.

Zeer goed restaurant en hele sympathieke bediening. Kom hier al 13 jaar bijna wekelijks. Altijd heerlijk verse producten. Kortom, meer dan de moeite waard om eens te proberen...

Ontspannen sfeer, heerlijk gegeten. Ons laten verrassen met het verrassingsmenu en daar hadden we geen spijt van. Allerlei gerechten die je anders misschien niet zou bestellen, maar ze waren om je vingers bij af te likken, zo lekker. De kok heeft zijn best gedaan en ook de bediening was prima, gezellig. Enige kleine minpuntje (vandaar niet alles 5 sterren) was dat de meneer vd bediening iets meer oogcontact mocht maken zodat we nog een extra drankje konden bestellen.

Lekker Turkse eten en leuke sfeer Echt een Aanrader

Afgelopen zondag voor mijn verjaardag hier gaan eten. Ik was al een keer eerder geweest dus mijn verwachting was erg hoog omdat het de vorige keer echt top was! Ik moet ook zeggen dat ik op het eten niks aan te merken had. Dat was gewoon perfect! Maar de bediening (1 meneer) was echt verschrikkelijk. Ja er staat op het menu dat het allemaal wat langer kan duren en ik ben ook best geduldig als ik zie dat 1 meneer in zijn eentje bediend. Er zat wat tijd tussen de gerechten in wat ik prima vond voor een gezellig avondje uit. Alleen toen om 20 uur de lege borden van de hoofdgerechten werden opgehaald en we beiden geen drinken meer hadden, werd niet gevraagd of we nog iets wilden. We waren nog best geduldig maar toen hij bij de tafel naast ons om 21 uur de lege borden werden opgehaald en dat hij hun wél de dessertkaart kregen, was het geduld wel een beetje op. Vervolgens gaat hij tafels opruimen waar geen gasten meer zaten. Toen we probeerde om oogcontact te maken keek hij letterlijk weg en toen was het voor ons wel duidelijk dat hij niet wilde dat wij nog iets gingen bestellen. Toen mijn vriend naar de bar liep pakte hij stug meteen de rekening. Op de terugweg vroegen wij ons af wat wij fout hadden gedaan om zo behandeld te worden. Begin van de avond zei ik nog dat ik mijn ouders een keer wilde meenemen naar deze zaak en nu wil ik nooit meer terug komen. Jammer, want het eten was wel erg lekker.

Very disappointing. We literally waited for over an hour for our food to arrive. The waitress did not offer any explanations/updates as to how long we would have to wait and barely a faint apology when asked repeatedly. The food itself was ok but pretty mediocre, with a plate of grilled salmon served almost completely rare. There was way too much emphasis on fancy and elaborate plating at the expense of serving good food in a timely fashion. We will not be returning there.

Calisanlar cok kibar, atmosfer cok guzel yalniz yemekler fiyatlarina gore vasat kaliyor. Yemekleri 2-3 saat beklemeyi goze alarak gidin.

Heerlijk gegeten. Let wel Dit is geen restaurant voor de snelle hap. Hier wordt met passie een heerlijke maaltijd geserveerd, met alleen maar verse ingrediënten en dat kost tijd. De liefhebber zal hier zeker verrast zijn van de authentieke Turkse keuken. Wij zullen hier zeker terug komen.

We decided to Ege spontaneously on Saturday night, and luckily we got a good table beside the window. We ordered more from warm and cold appetizers and one main course. They brought different ikrams (treat; free appetizers) and water served also free in a nice oriental jar. Patlican kizartmasi and Beykoz Kebab was delicious, but the best food was hürrem dolmasi. The gravy was very special. It was red wine gravy with some spices and I think it had fenugreek which made it special. The plate presentation was authentic. Service was very friendly and helpful.

Super lekker verrassingsmenu gehad.

Het eten was op zich wel lekker maar de belachelijk lange tijd van het wachten had de avond al verpest. En gezelschap van 10, waarbij er maar 8 eten kregen na anderhalf uur wachten. Die andere twee moesten eten toen wij het al op hadden. De dame in de bediening was onbeschrijflijk onbeschoft. Ze vroeg of er iemand nog iets wilde drinken, voordat we iets terug komen zeggen zei ze letterlijk: krijg ik nog antwoord.... heel bijzonder. We hebben wel een leuke avond gehad maar dat was ondanks dit restaurant, niet dankzij. Ik ga er zeker nooit meer terug.

Je moet er wel lang wachten voor je eten en met een roep van 10 man is dat heel vervelend als de ene helft het eten heeft en de andere helft 10 minuten later
