Fantastic food and service. First experience with Turkish food, recommend to everyone.

Had a delicious meal here. Everything was super tasty, and the staff and owner were friendly. I can recommend everyone eat here. I will definitely come back.

What a lovely restaurant in the center of Eindhoven. We dined with a large group and we were all equally enthusiastic about the amazing food and the welcoming and attentive service. The food is deliciously seasoned and prepared fresh right in front of you in the kitchen. This restaurant is more than worth a visit.

I eat at Altinsis regularly. The quality and service are good. The food is prepared quickly and well. The meat is always fresh and good because it is prepared by the owner. They are not the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive either. I am sometimes shocked by the bad reviews that are posted. I respect everyone's opinion, but some people exaggerate so much. I think these kinds of people have expectations that are too high.

The food was not tasty, and there was no sauce. When we brought this up with the owner, he felt personally attacked and went on the offensive. This resulted in a very unpleasant experience. I would not be quick to eat here again.

Had a delicious meal at Altınsis Eindhoven. The dishes are fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. The grilled meat, in particular, was perfectly seasoned and of excellent quality. Additionally, the service is friendly and there is a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. A lovely place to eat with family or friends if you enjoy authentic Turkish cuisine. Highly recommended; I would love to come back here again!

Update in June 2026: extremely rude owner with high temper even towards customers, despite the taste of the food. We will never go there again. 2024: Kebab, Chicken shish and Baklava were very tasty and fresh but unfortunately the soup was too salty and small portion considering the price. Also the salad we had was completely different comparing its traditional version (Gavur dagi). Çig kofte (from bulgur) was also stale- no longer fresh and pleasant to eat.Later we had Turkish tea which was also low brewed (not well cooked).

Great job, brother! We shook off all the day's fatigue while eating this. Believe me, it's hard to find this delicious food in Holland.

The Adana and Urfa kebabs are excellent and offer good value for money.

Small restaurant, but with surprisingly delicious food. The Adana and pirzola are especially highly recommended; perfectly seasoned and well prepared. Furthermore, the service tops it all off: an incredibly sweet and hospitable waiter who clearly does his best to give you a pleasant experience. Definitely a place to come back to!

My wife and I ordered mixed kebabs. First, the complimentary appetizers arrived. Salad, raw meatballs (çiğköfte), and I think rice made with cracked wheat came. They were all fresh and delicious. The lettuce salad was very well washed. Then our main course arrived. It was delicious and plentiful. We even had the leftovers packaged to take away. We ate kunefe and drank our tea. I definitely recommend it. The prices are quite reasonable. We will come again as soon as possible.

When you order delivery to your home, it arrives late and cold.

Very very good place! We just came from there, had a super meal. Everything was so good, fresh, perfectly spiced. Not too salty. Ordered icli kofte, beyti and lam durum. Very good bulgur too which we think is rare in Eindhoven. Perfect. Too bad we didn't try this place before. The service was very good. A very friendly man was our waiter. The food was really delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. The chicken skewers had a very small portion of chicken. While the taste was excellent, the portion could have been a bit larger. If the portions had been bigger, I would definitely have given it 5 stars.

We've been coming here for years. This time we came for iftar. We were shown to a table. It was quite close to the grill. After a while, I started getting hot. Luckily, I was able to get another table. The owner is a sweet, humorous man. He joked that if I had stuck it out, I wouldn't have had to pay anything 🤓 The soup was delicious. We had dates. And delicious çiğ köfte. You could choose your main course, and we had some truly delicious meat. Altinsis is highly recommended for grilled meat. For dessert, they had a delicious baklava. Always good and filling. Reservations are required on weekends.

A very disappointing experience during the iftar menu. We paid €96 for two people, yet there were several errors on the bill. The menu clearly stated that drinks were included, but these were still charged separately. Furthermore, the receipt included a soft drink that we didn't even order. For such a price, you expect proper service and honesty, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. This was absolutely not the case. Check your bills carefully before charging customers, as this leaves a very bad impression.

I am extremely disappointed with this experience. The food quality was far below expectations. The meat tasted questionable at the time, but I tried to give the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, the next day I suffered severe stomach problems and a lot of pain. It is obvious that the meat was not fresh. This is absolutely unacceptable and honestly ridiculous. Serving food that makes customers sick is a serious issue and should never happen! I will definitely not be coming back, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

We came as a group of three from Germany and were truly delighted. The kebabs were delicious, the meat was perfectly cooked and fresh. The service was fast, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The place was clean and the atmosphere was very comfortable. It's a place that does justice to Gaziantep cuisine. If we ever come back, we will definitely visit again. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

A family atmosphere with very good food

I've been coming here since the beginning. The quality hasn't changed since it opened. Delicious food, super nice, friendly owners (and hard workers too), everything is clean and fresh. Highly recommended.

Today I wanted to try Altinsis, and it remains a good, authentic Turkish restaurant. My soup was complemented by delicious cigkofte. Normally, you only get bread, but here they went the extra mile. A real plus🙌🏻. The soup was delicious, and so was the cigkofte. Then I had the main course, and of course, I chose the Zihr (spicy minced lamb). You can order 1, 1.5, or 2 portions. I chose the 1.5, but honestly, I was already full after just one portion. The meat was well-seasoned and delicious. My plate was also quite full with bread, salad, and bulgur. Honestly, I thought the bulgur at Altinsis was the best I've had so far. It was really flavorful and not dry 👌🏼. A truly top-notch restaurant, where you can definitely taste the quality of the food 🙌🏻

A few days ago, I ate here for the first time. It certainly won't be my last. The food was fantastic! Great service from a very friendly waiter who explained what he was serving in a very entertaining way. We were given a large platter laden with delicious meats and other delicacies, followed by two delicious baklava desserts (both were delicious, the one with honey was especially good). The waiter created a very pleasant atmosphere in a nicely decorated restaurant with an open kitchen. Thank you, and see you next time!

The meat tasted good. But the lavash was like Jumbo's tortilla. Keep that in mind.

I visited this restaurant with my friends. Atmosphere is warm. Service was fast and smiling during our visit. We ordered 3 mercimek soup and ciy kofte. We really liked the cig kofte. But we were waiting a little bit big porsion mercimek soup. Plates were small and soup was cold a little bit but taste of it was amazing 👏 We really liked 👍 I recommend this restaurant.

Amazing Kebabs! I highly recommend their Urfa and Adana Kebabs! In addition, Erkan is very welcoming! He can speak English, Dutch, Turkish, Spanish and Persian!

We ordered a portion “acisiz zirh kiymasi” & a portion of liver. We found both of them quite delicious. Although I personally found the items also a bit expensive, that’s not a reason not to visit here again. We asked for slices of lemon to drizzle over the dishes, however we were then offered a singular lemon slice. I think that was stingy. We visited during day time, it was quiet. So I can’t comment on the atmosphere in the evening

I know the owner for long time but couldn’t visit for long time. Yesterday I took my friend Koylu to him and I think the quality of the food gets even better. Good job my friend👍🏻

The food is hygienic and delicious, but too much cow meat is used.It would be much more delicious if you used some lamb meat, for example lamb liver.

I came to know this place from a Turkish colleague and it is one of my best finds for Turkish food. My most recent order was the chicken wings meal and I got a side of roasted peppers, a type of bulgur pilaf that tasted heavenly, some flatbread and also for free 2 cig kofte with salad. So very good value for what you pay. And these guys are also one of those rare places in the Netherlands that actually season their salad. In the past, I also tried adana kebab which is also incredible. This place is a must try for spicy food lovers!

This restaurant has the best test of all the Turkish restaurants . It's really delicious and the place itself is really nice. But it's a bit expensive compared to other restaurants nearby.

Very delicious traditional kebap

As a turkish who is living in europe for 8 years, this is the best turkish food i had in europe. Very tender lamb chop and shish, flavourful and not dry chicken. Complimentary cig kofte, bulgur, salad, tea. Extremely generous price for amazing quality. Perfect

A great address for those who miss Turkish cuisine in Eindhoven! The food is absolutely perfect; You feel Turkey in every bite. Especially the lamb shish wrap was incredibly delicious, the consistency of the meat and the balance of spices were just right.

Staff was very nice and kind. But the main thing this place excels at is, of course, the food. I ate non spicy Adana kebab and It was incredible and even better than I had in Turkey. Totally recommend.

Delicious food! We came from Amsterdam and the food (mainly Beyti kebap) was delicious! Great service and nice atmosphere! The beyti here is definitely recommended.

Very expensive and not enough to eat

The prices are very good and there is a delicious menu. I left my comments under the photos, you can look there to read the details. We were able to eat double lavash and double skewer meat for 14 Euros per person. The staff was friendly and the place was very clean, I would definitely recommend it. Be sure to stop by when you're in Eindhoven.

Prices on menu and bill are different! When paying the bill, they want more money. When you say the prices on the menu, they argue with you. Unbelievable. Absolutely not recommended!.

Unbelievably good and authentic

The employees were incredibly disrespectful and sullen, they intervened until we reached the table where we were going to sit, we were greeted incredibly badly. The atmosphere of the place is terrible.

Great thing. I had eaten here before. It's busy and the food is good. Very nice grill. Service was more extensive and friendly on the Friday we ate. We were moved to a large table for dessert because it was busy. But we had not made a reservation and were happy that we could still join. Baklava was very good.

Ate with colleague at the beginning of November. Dishes were more than good, simply delicious. There is a beautiful grill in the restaurant and the lamb was good. Dishes seem authentic to me, but I have never been to Turkey. I found the operation very difficult. It could seem very unkind to some people. Maybe it's the language, maybe just too busy for 1 person. But for example, it took a lot of effort to get their attention and order more drinks. I will definitely come back here again.

A very good restaurant, but its prices are very high compared to restaurants around it

The service is simply a disgrace. There is nothing to say about the taste, but it is not incredible enough to cover the shame of this type of disrespectful and quite expensive service. There is no need for more details, if you just ignore the comment and sit back, you will understand anyway, but it happened and you experienced the opposite, no good, bon appetit.

As someone from Gaziantep, I especially recommend the cubed kebab because it is both soft and cooked to the right consistency. It is more delicious than many kebab restaurants in Gaziantep. Master Ahmet's hospitality was also very sincere. It is one of the rare restaurants that will give you the feeling of kebab in your hometown.

Great food, i wasnt expecting such quality. It better than Turkiye, if you miss turkish food this is the place for you, and if you never tasted kebab before this is the perfect place to start.

We went to Gaziantep Altınşiş Kebapçısı with a group of 11 people and ordered a giant grill plate together. The food was truly incredibly delicious; The meat was cooked to perfection, each bite was an explosion of flavor. Even though it was a small and intimate place, we felt very comfortable with the warm atmosphere and friendly service of the team. The service was so kind and attentive that they took care of us at all times and fulfilled our every request. The beautiful ambiance of the place made the experience even more enjoyable. I can wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful place to anyone looking for a taste in Gaziantep. We will definitely come again!

What a disappointment....or the owner has changed. It used to be atmospheric, friendly, smooth service and good food, but now it's no longer worth it.

The meat is really good! Really very good. But I found the service (woman) very grumpy and I also thought it was not hygienic that she worked with nail polish. And certainly not chipped red nail polish. This ruined the experience for me. Some adjustments are needed here and there to improve things, but again meat is good. Perhaps worth repeating
