Delicious food and good service.

We chose this place because it was very busy inside. You'd think it must be good, but it was nothing further from the truth. We had sac kavurma and kusbasi pide. The sac kavurma was very dry and flavorless, with bits of raw tomato and dry rice. The kusbasi pide was made with the same meat filling: flavorless, dry, and with bits of raw tomato. Even trying to season it with salt and pepper didn't help. This was our first and last visit to saygili.

Friendly waiters, but the breakfast, pide and tea are very bad.

Super friendly and quick service. Excellent food, no alcohol served. Good value, highly recommended. Will definitely go again.

I always get the beyti. Super delicious. Never had any complaints! What I often notice is that it's not consistently the same. One time I get it without lettuce. Another time it's a different kind of lettuce. Then I get it with sauce, then without. Then it's tzatziki. Another time it's cream. I wish I could see that when I order the same thing, I get the same thing. Otherwise, it's always delicious! Another thing I've noticed is that they might finally have figured out a way to divide the dishes so they can be heated up without heating up the cold elements. Excellent.

The food was excellent. The service could have been more attentive when clearing dirty plates, etc. But the atmosphere and the food were excellent!

The breakfast was delicious and filling. I especially recommend the gözleme (Turkish pancake). The waiter took good care of us. However, there seems to be a lack of waiters. It's within walking distance of the center. There are many halal food stores nearby. Parking is nearby. I recommend it.

I had made a reservation for seven people, but nothing was done with it. Luckily, one of us arrived well in advance, otherwise we wouldn't have had a large table. Breakfast consisted of cold fries and vegetables, the fresh orange juice wasn't fresh, but from a carton, and the bread wasn't toasted, but sliced baguette, all for €15.50. When we asked for garlic sauce, a server said it was gone, but when we asked the other server, it suddenly was. I wouldn't come here for breakfast again, but maybe for dinner.

The food wasn't good. The chicken pieces were burnt, the Adana fell apart, and the pide was saltless. A waste of money.

I was very disappointed with my visit to the Turkish restaurant Saygılı. As soon as we arrived, there were no cutlery on the table—we had to ask for them. I ordered a dish that was on their menu, but the waiter wasn't even aware of it. My friends' plates arrived well before mine, and I had to wait 20 minutes longer. To top it all off, the waiter placed my plate in a different place than where I was sitting. No salad was served with my pide, even though it's usually included. And paying at the table was impossible: you had to move around, which isn't very convenient in a restaurant. Very disorganized service, no customer service. Frankly, I don't recommend it.

I was a bit misled by some negative reviews, but I thought the price/quality ratio was excellent. There was also a wide selection of dishes. A delicious appetizer: tapenade, aioli, Turkish tzatziki, and bread. They replenished our spreads when we had leftovers. Delicious grilled meat from the charcoal grill, and I also really enjoyed the smoked eggplant puree. I wasn't as impressed with the rice with almonds. The salad was fresh, but a bit too much sharp red onion for us. I always pickle it myself with vinegar, sugar, and red pepper, which would be perfect in this salad. My daughter enjoyed the mixed grill, which was also a very large dish with lots of meat and a perfectly cooked lamb chop. The extra rice, bulgur, salad, and fries were tasty, but also a lot. It's great that you can order a carafe of table water. Good for quenching your thirst. Even though we were full, I still wanted to try the baklava. I've eaten a lot of Greek, Turkish, and Syrian baklava. Everyone makes their own version or buys it in store. No disappointments; this version is very good with lots of pistachios and not dripping with honey. The puff pastry is still crispy. I love that. I found the service fast and friendly. The place was very full at 7:00 PM. The restaurant is also quite nicely decorated. There are more good Turkish restaurants on Kruisstraat. We'll definitely return here again.

A delicious breakfast for Father's Day, with everything included.

Service was really bad. The lady who serves us didn't feel like working at all. There were only 3 tables and she didn't come to our table once without me calling her myself. We sat at a dirty table. Soup without lemon, no red peppers. Had to ask separately. Had to ask for a napkin separately. Forgot a drink, had to ask again. After eating pide we waited 20 minutes for the plate to be taken away and then had to wait another 15 minutes for tea.

Food is okay, service is very weak. The lady doesn't even come by, I had to ask myself continuously for food, drinks or salt and napkins.

I love to eat here. Sometimes for a delicious breakfast/lunch and sometimes for a nice dinner. The breakfast is very extensive and luxurious. For example, you have a breakfast platter with olives, cheese, salad, jam, butter, honey, spreadable cheese, potato salad, grilled vegetables, boiled egg, portion of fries and a pancake with syrup and fruit and a glass of fresh orange juice. There are also separate breakfast items on the menu. And Turkish tea is included and unlimited. As for dinner, there are many choices on the menu. Something for everyone. In advance you get a starter consisting of baguette and two different dips and potato salad. Is included in the dinner. And the staff is very hospitable and friendly. Definitely recommended this place!

Good food, just absurdly expensive, paid 17 euros for pasta of which you could literally take 5 bites... pide with only cheese for 12.50, this is a scam.

The starter and main course have already been ordered. What a service! for me the main meal is ready on the table. My wife waits five minutes. Starter on the table for my wife. What a variety of snacks are available after the main meal! The service is completely bad, there is no organization, it is messy. The food is good. But I don't want to think about the Daygili restaurant anymore.

We arrived, waited for 1.30 minutes, we even reserved a table in advance, we asked for roasted onions, they brought the onion in pieces, put it on the barbecue, and the service we received was wrong, no service, it's a shame for the money paid, I was truly disappointed.

We stumbled upon this small cozy restaurant today by chance. In addition to the really great breakfast that we were able to enjoy, the friendly staff was worth a 5 star rating. Thanks for this great taste.

The food was the worst food I have ever eaten in a restaurant. The pide was spread with canned tomato most likely and was very very dry with little minced meat or flavor. I didn't get any garlic sauce or salad that you usually get. When I asked for it I was given a "fake" garlic sauce because it was clearly just mayonnaise. I also had to pay for the small amount of salad he gave with it afterwards. Paid 45 euros for little food. Never again for me!

Pide waardeloos!! Droog, plus gehakt is gewoon groente met tomatenpuree weinig gehakt dus. Je krijgt er geen sla bij gewoon simpel. Teleurstellend!!!!

Food is tasty, but hellas bad service. We have reserved a table but it appears that this was not taken seriously. When we came in, there was no table for 4, only after we said we had called and made a reservation, they asked a customer to move to another table. You will have to wait a long time for everything, even the menu. Furthermore, the food is tasty, but taking it away is a big disappointment! After 2 years, I look back to see if anything has changed and yes, there has been change: Food has become worse. Not tasty. Worst menemen I've ever eaten! Never again a chance.

The food was delicious, we were received very friendly and pleasantly by the boy with curly hair. Unfortunately, one of the employees (girl with a heart tattoo on arm) was very unfriendly. This was a shame.

We ate pita with three sausage cubes on top. It's the first time I've eaten such a sloppy pita in a place where the same meat is cheap. The tables are dirty, the seats are filthy and expensive. I don't understand how they praise it so much. Either people don't have good taste or their own notables commented well. I had to try it twice. We went and both times were mediocre.

I am aware that this restaurant is on the expensive side considering what you get for it. However, my previous order was super tasty. I took the sac kavurma tavuklu again because I liked it so much last time. But unfortunately this time it was disappointing. First of all, I only got 2 small pieces of lovage, while nowadays you often get a whole wrap. Secondly, the chicken was extremely greasy, even the bag was soaked because the oil started to leak. The portion of rice I got was very small for what I paid and it tasted bland too. The mercimek soup was delicious as always, and I'll give them that. It was really way too expensive, so much so that I regret it.

The staff are friendly and welcoming which made the experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, the lentil soup I ordered was not particularly impressive and was not served properly heated. The bread was not fresh and the mezze was mediocre. The mixed meat platter had good chops, but these were cold on arrival. The satay with rice was disappointing and not to your liking. Furthermore, I was disappointed that there were no discounts or special offers for groups, which somewhat affected my experience. Although the staff tried their best, there were some shortcomings in the quality and presentation of the food. I hope this feedback helps with future improvements I recently had dinner with a group at Saygılı Restaurant and I would like to share my experiences. The restaurant building is beautiful and attractively decorated. The ambiance is summery and inviting, which gave a nice first impression. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which added to a pleasant atmosphere. However, when it came to the food, there were some disappointments. I started with the lentil soup, which unfortunately did not meet my expectations. The soup was not served hot enough, even though I reported this. This was a shame, because the taste could have been better if it had been properly warm. Unfortunately, the bread served with it was also not fresh, which further negatively affected the experience. Staff; a bit slow but friendly. Food: we ate Vegetarian pide/ hunkarbegendi/ beyti kebap Mezzes arrived beforehand. Nothing special. Bread: not freshly baked. Slices of Turkish bread. ⭐️⭐️ Vegetarian pide; was quite tasty, but onions and peppers were still raw. ⭐️⭐️ Hunkar begendi; there should be a nice creamy eggplant puree underneath this dish; we got a dried layer of puree and I don't think it was made from fresh eggplants.??! Meat was not tasty and tough. ⭐️ Beyti; was pretty good ⭐️⭐️⭐️ All round: Average Turkish restaurant TIP: only order what is freshly prepared!

We hebben zaterdagavond (17-8)met z’n drieën hier gegeten. Sfeer en interieur; ziet er gezellig uit. Vooral de grill achter in het restaurant voegt zeker een Turkse sfeer toe. Personeel; iets traag, wel vriendelijk. Eten: we hebben Vegetarische pide/ hunkarbegendi/ beyti kebap gegeten Vooraf kwamen mezze’s aan. Niets bijzonders. Brood: niet vers gebakken. Sneetjes Turkse brood. ⭐️⭐️ Vegetarische pide; was redelijk smaakvol, maar uien en pepers waren nog rauw. ⭐️⭐️ Hunkar begendi; er hoort een mooie smeuïge aubergine puree onder dit gerecht te liggen; we kregen een gedroogde laagje puree en volgens mij was dat niet van verse aubergines gemaakt.??! Vlees was niet smaakvol en taai. ⭐️ Beyti; was redelijk goed ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Allround: Gemiddelde Turkse restaurant TIP: bestel alleen wat er vers bereid wordt!

Friendly welcome upon arrival. Nice restaurant. In terms of food; I expected pide to be a bit crispier, but the taste wasn't bad. Chicken is deliciously marinated. Children's menu, one child got fries and sauces, the other only got bulgur and salad. No sauce either. A larger group came and we were a bit forgotten. We only got our drinks (after asking) when our food was almost finished. I think the price-quality ratio is a bit on the high side.

The dishes were not bad. We had the mixed grill and the meat was wonderfully tender and nicely marinated. It's a shame they don't serve lovage bread instead of ready-made tortillas. Our starter came halfway through our main course and even though we had indicated that we did not want rice, we got rice and they had forgotten the fries. All in all, we had a good meal, but there are areas for improvement in the service.

Nice place and very cozy to sit. The pides are very large, well filled and tasty (although a little more salt would have been welcome). I also had a salad with chicken. This was well filled, the chicken was freshly fried (chicken thigh) and nicely seasoned (but not too much). The Turkish tea is free. I also took a look at the breakfasts on the table next to us and they really looked like a lot! I want that next time!

Ordered via Thuisbezorgd, unfortunately the wrong order had arrived, I discussed this with the restaurant and within 2 hours I received my food and I was also allowed to keep the wrong order. I think this is perfect service, I recommend everyone to eat/order something at this restaurant.

Excellent food, the starters are fresh and tasty. The main courses especially the grill has great charcoal flavor combined with spice and wide variety of flavours. Highly recommend!

Normally I don't like to have breakfast outside but this restaurant made all the difference. Everything was so tasty and you could take as much tea as you want and get orange juice with the breakfast menu. To be repeated. Too bad I live so far away. But I will recommend it to everyone I know!!

We ate here with 9 women. Delicious food and good service. We received free Turkish tea. After we placed our order, we received baguette with dips from the house. A nice and tasty surprise! Affordable and super tasty food, friendly staff

Spontaneous guests are not welcome! even though the entire store was almost empty. There were three of us, we didn't have much time and just wanted to have a quick breakfast. Apparently everything was reserved and people could come at any moment. We offered to get up as soon as the guests arrived. Was not accepted. Then we sat down in the restaurant opposite. After half an hour, still no guests came to the Saygili restaurant!

I usually restrain myself from writing reviews especially if they are negative. However, this time I feel compelled to share my experience. Although the food was tasty, the price does not justify the quality offered. What I find really inappropriate is the way the service is provided. The staff seems impatient and makes inappropriate comments in an attempt to be funny. This will unfortunately be my first and last visit to this location.

We ate lahmacun and pita. Also stuffed meatballs. Lahmacun and pita were mediocre. The taste was not bad, except that it was a little cold. I can recommend the stuffed meatballs.

Great for a quick bite, the service was also friendly. This was rated as a good restaurant at The Fork, so we made a reservation there for my husband's birthday. We love extensive and tasty food, but we were very disappointed. Back outside within the hour, so it will go quickly!

This is truly a great restaurant. The hospitality of the service, the food, the extra service if you ask for it. We had dinner there for the second time with a group of 10 people, everything went smoothly and structured. We will definitely come back next year!

Meat has a lot of fat and the rice is cheap basmati rice instead of Turkish rice.
