I have to update my 5 star evaluation from last year. Today we were there again for deserts only. We took rice pudding, kazandibi and magnolia. Magnolia was for my daughter - 7 years old. After she eat a bit, she told us that strawberries are sparkling! We suspected about that and my wife tasted also including a strawberry and she stated that it is rotten. We asked waiter to check it - they got it to main service side, evaluated 10 min on the back - we just went there asked the check. They asked all the check including magnolia - when I asked about rottenness, they said that it is not possible as it was made this morning. I didnt argue, just paid and went out. We know what we have eaten, what is rotten and what is fresh. You can chech how many restaurants and what quality of restaurants we went to from my google reviews. I was trying to support this place as I am Turkish but they dont deserve it as they are playing people’s health! I will never go there again and I dont recommend to anyone.

This used to be my favorite restaurant in the city, but it’s really sad to see how much the quality of both the service and the food has declined. They never have what’s on the menu, which is very disappointing. I don’t recommend going there. It’s also far too expensive for the low quality of the food.

I'll only comment on the kazan dibi (a type of Turkish dessert), and this isn't kazan dibi. If you're craving it and want to come here, don't. The custard doesn't taste like chicken breast pudding; it's more like some gelatinous stuff. It seems like sugar was sprinkled on top and then burned with a blowtorch; you get both a crunchy sugary taste and a burnt-out flavor. It's not edible as kazan dibi, or even as a dessert.

Unfortunately, the kazan dibi (a type of Turkish dessert) I had at Mado today was not good at all. It had a hard consistency, was so dense it needed to be cut with a knife, and the inside was lumpy and doughy. Therefore, I was very dissatisfied with the dessert. The drinks were also below my expectations; I can't say anything positive about them either. Despite this, the staff's attentiveness and friendliness were good. For this reason, I'm giving it two stars. I hope these comments are taken into consideration and they return to their former quality.

The atmosphere was nice and elegant, but neither the food nor the service was good. The staff member who greeted you initially spoke neither Dutch nor Turkish. Communication was difficult. I didn't find the food at the buffet tasty. You should aim for tastier options instead of more variety. The fried dough/simit/börek section was good. They need to improve the hot dishes. If you arrive late, the pastries run out. It's best to go early. At the buffet, they give you a plate to take home after you pay. But if you can't put your eggs and dessert on the same plate like I did, it spoils the experience. There were high chairs, but I think they were insufficient; many families with children frequent the area, so more could be provided.

What a disastrous experience and service at Mado Eindhoven. I called a day in advance to clarify whether it was possible to order from the menu in addition to the open buffet (breakfast). That was possible; you could therefore also order extra items from the menu. That was specifically the reason I called and the reason we were coming. After an hour's drive, we arrived with a group of 8 people (including children) and were immediately confronted with a completely different, unfriendly attitude: only the open buffet was available, nothing else. This was communicated in a blunt and uninterested manner. When I tried to explain that I had specifically called about this beforehand, and even showed my call history, no one listened at all. Apparently, it didn't matter. The employee was unwilling to listen or be helpful. According to the employee, we *could* order from the menu starting at 12:00. So we waited. At 12:05, still no service, no menu, absolutely nothing. Staff who completely ignore you and act as if you don't exist. When we followed up ourselves, we were blithely told that we still couldn't order because the “chef wasn't there.” Pure deception and a complete lack of responsibility. Additionally, the hygiene and organization were shockingly poor: no napkins, staff who had no idea what was going on among themselves, and absolutely no customer focus. In the end, we left without eating anything after an hour's drive. This wasn't just bad service; this was simply disrespectful and unprofessional. Never again.

A very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, we received a very poor welcome. We had a voucher for a three-course meal through Social Deal and duly made a reservation over the phone. Upon arrival, it suddenly turned out the time wasn't convenient because they preferred to keep the table free for other guests who would be spending more than €25 per person. The manager was called, and instead of a solution, we were questioned about who we had called and how the reservation was made. This created a very awkward and unfriendly atmosphere. It felt like it was our fault. This made me feel uncomfortable the entire evening. For me, the welcome and service are more important than the food. A warm welcome and respectful treatment make all the difference. It's not just about how beautiful your restaurant is, but about how good you are to your customers and how you make them feel. Honestly, I'd rather go to Urfa Kebab, where we've received an incredibly friendly welcome several times. There you get good service and a genuine sense of welcome, with, for example, a meze beforehand and a complimentary tea after dinner. Moreover, you really get a feel for the Turkish atmosphere there, with a much warmer and more inviting ambiance. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

The worst hospitality ever! There was only one table occupied so it wasn’t busy at all when we arrived but it still took them almost 20 minutes just to bring the menu. Although we asked the woman behind the counter after waiting for some time. She said she will bring it to us but then kept doing her stuff and finally a waiter realized we haven’t gotten a menu. It also took long for them to serve 2 premade desserts, one coffee and one tea. The desserts we got also were not tasty at all. It is just a waste of time and money.

Disapointed by the service, no manners of the workers. Number one rules are not in the Mado. Which one should I start. No tray when they are serving to the table. Large free parking in front of the premises, delicious food. We were in a group of 7 people but I think the maximum number of people is 9 or 10 because the lady added one table for us to fit in. Nice staff who know Turkish and English. The toilet is located near the entrance to the kitchen. The drinks are also great, although when I ordered a citrus drink with a strawberry flavor, I got an orange or grapefruit flavor.

There can't be such a careless business, the ice creams came late and melted, probably kept outside. Their teas were already filthy but the ice cream was important... Addition: When we told them that the ice cream had melted while paying the bill, we saw that the woman on duty said that the machine was broken but that the problem was fixed and presented it as if it was a problem specific to that day, and you can see other comments about the ice cream being served melted. If it was melted, we wanted to state that we could have at least been informed about why it was served in advance and asked if we wanted to have it, but the woman started to get nasty, so we left the place so that the situation wouldn't get any worse. In short, it's the worst place you can go to in Eindhoven.

Service is getting worse by the day and is becoming more and more self-service. Handling and treatment is very cheap. Does not fit Mado as in other countries. Breakfast buffet: you have to pay in advance. Cheapest IKEA plates and bowls available and a piece of broken plate. You get a plate, a bowl and a basket for bread in your hands. You have to walk with it to a free table. Do you want to eat different things (buffet), bad luck you do it all in one plate.

Unqualified servers. On a monday evening, not even a quarter of all the tables occupied, 3 servers fail for at least 10 minutes to receive incoming customers. After we find ourselfs a table, it took 15 minutes before one of them noticed us sitting. Meanwhile no menucard, just lost 25 minutes (and our appetite) for nothing. The drama continued with too much to mention here. To summarize; to me it seemed that the personal never even heard of a restaurant etiquettes; speaking of dining serving rules, anticipate quests, clearing the table, presenting the check promptly or even thanking the quests.. As a customer I felt more of a burden to them while waiting and waiting. Terrible experience, no more MADO Eindhoven for us.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience with you. We were waiting outside and asked in a friendly manner what you thought was the tastiest dish. Instead of a normal answer, we were told that we would be better off choosing something different than what we had in mind. I thought that was strange. We then ordered food and drinks, including sarma and a few other dishes. After a long time we only got the drinks and sarma, but the rest of the food never came. We literally waited an hour. My friend finally walked in to ask what was going on, and was told that the chefs hadn't even started taking our order yet. How is that possible? Despite this poor service, my girlfriend still paid the full amount. I think this is absolutely not correct and certainly not customer friendly. Moreover, it was not busy at all; there were only two other customers in the business. This is really a shame to me. I'll never come back here again. You have disappointed us enormously.

I was there tonight with my family for iftar dinner. they offered a special menu for remezan. The soup was very thick and for dessert I ordered baklava. We had to wait a long time until they brought it, the baklava was dry and raw, underbaked, straight white dough from the inside. I tried only one bite and returned the plate. I explained to the woman who welcomed the customers and she said that this is normal because now they took sago out of the oven, she even apologized after my reaction, she only said that she took out the baklava from the bill I paid 150 euros for three three. -They had overlooked our reservation -The service was slow, because there was only 1 waiter and that on a busy day like Valentine's Day. -The chicken was not fully cooked -the plate was too small for the food +Fortunately they have arranged a table on site and free tea.

We are regular customers. We went again yesterday. My wife ordered baklava, 4 pieces, 1 portion. The baklavas were so dry and tasteless that he couldn't even finish one of them. Later, when we explained the situation to a lady working there, her tone and response really shocked us. "Oh yes, they were like that, but we put a new one in the oven..." Even though you know that a product made by you is bad or tasteless, how can you present it to people for 3 kuruş(!)? (4 baklavas 10 €) With the hope that you will provide service worthy of your name and quality... Regards🙏

Bad baklava. The baklavas are not freshly made. They come to the branch frozen and are baked there. The baklava I ordered was not baked properly. Tasted like nothing. The pistachio in the baklava had a weird taste. It was anything but fresh and delicious. Service was also slow.
