Very well and cozy decorated, we sat opposite the kitchen, very nice.

What happened here? The meat used to be good, but lately it was just awful. The service was also really slow. It's a shame, but definitely not worth the money anymore.

We regularly go to El Cabbalerro, and I must say it's always good. This time, our daughter invited us, who loved to treat us. And on this special evening for her, everything went wrong, at least at our table. The service was a complete mess. Fifteen minutes had passed before we saw anyone at our table for a drink. My granddaughter's Lipton ice tea turned into a Lipton Ice Sparkling. We got a strange reaction when we said she doesn't drink that yet. Would you like to keep it for someone else? No, we want a different one. After that, we waited half an hour for the menu, which we then went to get ourselves. We looked at everything, but again, no one came to us. Meanwhile, other guests who arrived later were already eating, so there wasn't much organization in the planning. We asked again if we could order. That was already a huge annoyance, and I said, "Don't let this ruin the evening." Well, I finally ordered after an hour, but still nothing, so I had to find staff again. Then they took action and everything was served. My daughter and son-in-law had salmon. With the first bite, they both noticed the salmon was raw inside. I took the plate to the server and told them so. She immediately told them she didn't want it anymore, and sure enough, after 5 minutes, she returned with the plate and said we'd thrown the salmon back. My daughter was done with it. She said, "I don't want it anymore," which makes sense, because raw fish isn't very tasty. The next day, both of them had stomach problems. And then course three, which also took half an hour for ice cream. The cappuccino never arrived, but it was on the bill. The boss did remove the salmon steak from the bill, but we thought that was understandable. Nothing else was offered to end our evening on a good note. Unfortunately, we went home feeling bad. The gesture from our daughter and son-in-law was fantastic, but the poor service, which took the time to smoke outside, made it a bit of a disappointment.

We eat here fairly regularly. Little seems to have changed. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food.

What a great place this is. We come from Ter Aar ourselves, but for the best meat you have to be here. Service is great, fast, fun and professional. Food is great and relatively fast on the table. Keep it up!

We've been here a few times and this is just a very rustic place in a good location. Very nice and helpful staff. And people.....really the best spareribs there are! Also other dishes very tasty (like Pollo de Brasil).

What a nice nice place. We think the most comfortable place is downstairs. But that's personal. The food is delicious, we went for the 5 course dinner. This is really a lot, so make sure you don't have too much that day. Because it is enjoyment.

Na de bezoekdatum groots in de agenda gezet te hebben waren wij met een groep van 16 personen uit eten gegaan in dit restaurant. Volgens de kaart zouden de spareribs uit dit restaurant goed zijn aangeschreven en werd door het merendeel van de groep gekozen voor de spareribs. De keuze kon gemaakt worden uit zoet, pikant en knoflook. Nadat er voor 16 personen een voorgerecht werd uitgeserveerd, duurde het ons inziens behoorlijk lang voordat de eerste ronde van het hoofdgerecht werd uitgeserveerd. Door mij werd gekozen voor de zoete sparerib. Ondanks dat deze wel warm werd opgediend, was de uitnodiging om aan te vallen zowel op smaak als voor het oog ver te zoeken. Ook bleef er voor een bedrijf wat zo geroemd wordt om zijn spareribs, mijn inziens, te veel vlees hangen aan het bot van de ribs. Bij ronde twee ging de kwaliteit van het vlees achteruit. Helaas werd deze droger en voelde ik me niet uitgenodigd deze met huid en haar te willen verslinden. Was tevens de sparerib met zoete marinade. Bij ronde drie en tevens de laatste ronde maakte ik een uitstapje naar knoflook om te ervaren of deze de zoete marinade wel kon overtreffen. Helaas had ik beter deze ronde kunnen overslaan. Deze sparerib was zo kurkdroog dat ik het merendeel van deze rank spareribs heb laten liggen, tevens was deze aan de onderzijde flink aangebrand. Napratend over de gehele avond waren er meerdere genodigden die een erg bittere nasmaak overgehouden hebben aan het nuttigen van de onbeperkte spareribs. Helaas waren deze gangen niet Argentijns-waardig. Hopelijk kan de eigenaar binnen afzienbare tijd het roer omgooien.

Went here for dinner with three friends on the recommendation. All three of us had eaten unlimited spare ribs. Tasted very good. Service was friendly and very fast. I found the interior of the restaurant to be authentic, cozy and clean as far as I could see. Prices were reasonable. Summary of an old-fashioned good meal. Very good.

Tastiest ribs in the world. Super tender and really fall off the bone. The sauce is also very tasty, especially the sweet one. The salads and fries are also always good. The table grill is very nice and tasty and the steaks are also great. The service varies a lot, sometimes it is super fast and very friendly and other times it takes a very long time and everything has to be done quickly, which makes the service seem a bit surly. You can occasionally speak Dutch here on a limited basis. Some staff do not know the language at all or not at all. English is generally doable. Although this is not a problem for me personally, it may be something to take into account if you have difficulty with it. If you know the area, parking is not an issue, but I can imagine that it is difficult for others to find a parking space. It is very limited in front of the door and is usually full. There is a larger parking lot behind the restaurant, but it is not very easy to find as you first have to drive into the neighborhood and there is a lot of one-way traffic. During corona we also had ribs delivered once, which was really fantastic. Good quantity and still very warm. I don't know if it is still possible now, but I would definitely recommend it if this is still the case!

Ate upstairs in the restaurant. Apparently in the damn corner. Had to walk to the service a few times to get attention. Had to wait more than half an hour for the starter and then another half hour before they came to clear it out. Quality of the food is fine. 1 toilet for the entire restaurant is very little. It was also clear at the end of the evening. 1 big gang.

Had a delicious meal at El Caballero again tonight. We have enjoyed eating there for years. The sweet spareribs are very tasty but the tournedos is also very good. For dessert I always have the white chocolate mousse... mmm

Went there for the first time last night with a total of 4 people. It was already quite busy. Drinks went super smoothly, then had to walk to staff several times for the menus, where the drinks were, a wine cooler, in other words it was a bit too busy for the number of staff there. They were actually running, but didn't look up or back. That was a shame. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, but was simply too busy. Like everywhere there is probably a shortage of staff, but take fewer tables. The atmosphere of the round benches was very nice, but the chandelier hanging above could use some cleaning. When you see that, you start to have doubts about the rest. And if there is no time for that, hang simpler lamps that are easy to clean. Because if you have to wait so long for staff, you start looking around. We will definitely come back again, because the food was delicious, hopefully the rest will go well. They definitely deserve a second chance because the meat was really good.

Voor vlees moet je hier zijn.Nergens in de omgeving is de ribeye zo lekker en zacht als hier.De beste vlees restaurant en er is ook een mooie tuin waar je van een jug sangria kan genieten

I have known the owner for 29 years. First his restaurant in Alphen aan den Rijn, and later in Waddinxveen. Sublime spare ribs. You don't eat them like this elsewhere. The rest of the menu is also great. I'd happily drive around for such good meat!

The meal was excellent, although the spareribs were cold the first time. After indicating this to the waiter, they came back warm (fortunately). The first seat in the corner by the window was very draughty, so we moved to another spot after five minutes. All in all the food and service were excellent and that's what you come for in the end.

Mijn man heeft mij getrakteerd voor mijn verjaardag, een avondje eten aan deze restaurant. Ik had spare ribs besteld. Helaas de spare ribs waren te lang gekookt dat er geen smaak meer heeft en daarna gegrild dat het verbrand was en had een bittere smaak. Voor een Argentijns restaurant verwacht ik een kwaliteit vlees. Daar zijn Argentijns bekend voor.Jammer. De verwarming was ook niet aan dat ik heel koud had gehad.

Wild Wild West at the restaurant. Let me share with you the juicy details as hot as a Netflix original. We were seated at the table without receiving menu cards. After a while, I signaled a waiter and he proceeded immediately to ask us what we wished to drink. I kindly asked for the menu first to which he replied: "FIRST DRINKS, the drinks are not displayed on the menu either way". Yes, people, I counted to ten trying to not lose my patience. We ordered drinks and received the menu cards, and he brought the drinks to the table by just placing them at the end of the table, like where are his manners? Anyways, we are now ordering food. My friend asked for her steak to be medium-well, he did not know what medium-well meant. I am trying to count to 100 because I was this 👌🏽 close to losing it. After a while of back and forth between my friend and the waiter, my friend told him that medium is also OK as he did not understand the term "medium-well". She requested for her steak and her fries to be without salt, he did not understand that either, hmmm. I stood up to get another waiter because how can you work at a restaurant and not even have basic knowledge of food? Now to the highlight of the night. After we were done eating; there were two kitchen staff fighting in the open kitchen. Everybody was sitting in shock looking at the drama happening in the kitchen. It calmed down for like 10 minutes, afterward they were having it again, and the chef screamed that he would quit and nobody would eat anymore. The waiters kept attending the tables, it felt awkward and uncomfortable. Nobody came to say sorry for the drama, or for ruining the atmosphere. We didn't want to stay any minute longer. We paid and immediately left without having a dessert. The food was good but not worth all this drama. Hasta la vista, not 🤣

Excellent food and attentive and friendly service. A bit difficult acoustics and a somewhat cramped five-person table. But the food was delicious and that's the most important thing.

Het eten is altijd prima, niks op aan te merken. De bediening was wederom matig. Het was op Kerstavond druk maar dat mag geen excuus zijn vinden we. We zaten nog maar net en gelijk de vraag wat we wilden drinken, menukaarten werden op tafel gegooid i.p.v. even netjes overhandigd. Borden gehaast en met een klap op tafel gezet. Echt jammer want zoals gezegd is het eten en de entourage prima. Bediening matig met uitzondering van de eigenaar die erg beleefd over komt, nog even een foto van ons maakte en rustig was.

Niet meer wat het geweest is. Vlees is droog en zelfs aangebrand en dat voor een steak restaurant. Gingen hier vaak geen maar de laatste tijd is de kwaliteit gewoon slecht en het is zeker niet goedkoop.

Ga hier regelmatig eten. Allemaal heerlijke gerechten met leuke achtergrond muziek. Binnen ook sfeervol ingericht en de bediening is ook tot nu toe altijd goed en gezellig. Wij vinden dit een top tent! Aanrader!!!

Het duurde dit keer wel lang voordat we ons hoofdgerecht hadden. (Ruim 45min) De spareribs normaal super mals, dit keer wat droog en stug. Was het de 255,00 euro waard, voor 4 personen, nee dit keer niet. Ons voorgenomen, voorlopig niet terug te gaan. In ieder geval niet meer dit jaar.

Hier donderdag met 16 man gegeten. We hadden week ervoor dramatische ervaring met Gouds glas wat was dat slecht. Nu hier en wat een verademing. De bediening is super attent zien alles en hebben aan half woord genoeg. Het eten echt zooo lekker iedereen had erg genoten helemaal niets op aan te merken. En alles gangen bijna allemaal tegelijk op tafel wat een klasse. Gouds Glas moet maar eens komen kijken. Prijs kwaliteit is echt goed kreeg je bij Gouds Glas 2 hele kleine stukjes Ossehaas voor 31 euro hier bijv 300! Gram. Het was genieten!

Lieve bediening, lekker eten en een goede sfeer.

Het restaurant kan wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken. De wc's waren smerig. Het eten daar in tegen was heerlijk!!

We zijn met 18 personen gaan eten. Het vlees was botermals, service goed en ontspannen evenals de sfeer. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Interieur binnen was echt wat je kan verwachten bij een Argentijns restaurant. Buiten was prima, maar kan wel gezelliger worden aangekleed. Bediening was vriendelijk en vlot. Je hebt echt wel binnen een goede tijd je eten en ook op je drinken hoef je niet lang te wachten, ondanks dat het druk werd. Keuken zag er goed en netjes uit en ook de kok was erg vriendelijk. Eten was erg lekker vooral de plato de luna nr 31 was echt goed! En de wijn goed te doen, aanrader!

Na veel positieve verhalen over El Caballero gehoord te hebben, vandaag eindelijk wezen eten. Als voorgerecht hadden we samen de mixed tapas en als hoofdgerecht had ik de T-bone steak en mijn vrouw de spare ribs. Al snel krijgen we een bord met verschillende voorgerechten, aan het woord mixed was niks gelogen. Alle voorgerechten waren ook daadwerkelijk op een hoop gegooid op hetzelfde bord waardoor de ham & meloen zelfde smaak had als de carpaccio. Gelukkig zat er geen soep bij anders was deze waarschijnlijk ook over de rest van de voorgerechten heen gegooid. Op naar het hoofdgerecht, waar we veel te lang op hebben zitten wachten. Mijn doorgebakken!!!!! t-bone was veel te taai en smakeloos en bijna niet aan te snijden met de bijgeleverde mes. Elke echte Argentijn zou zich kapot schamen voor deze zogenoemde Argentijnse steak house. Ik vraag me dan ook werkelijk af of we echt argentijnse steak voorgeschoteld hebben gekregen zoals dat op de menukaart aangegeven stond, het had in ieder geval veel weg van een magnetron steak van de lokale supermarkt. De spare ribs waren zo doordrenkt door een veel te zoete saus en gebrek aan smaak waardoor we deze helemaal in zijn geheel hebben laten liggen. Al met al een hele slechte ervaring en zeker geen weerspiegeling van een echt argentijnse steekhouse.

La locacion la verità non mi ha convinto molto, per niente curata nei dettagli. Per il servizio molto semplice,le posate e i piatti sporchi e abbiamo dovuto farceli cambiare. Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto misto ed era buono, e dopo ho preso il Tris di carne, con tre tipi di tagli di carne differenti devo dire non male,ma mi aspettavo di più.

Voor het eerst in dit restaurant gegeten, we zaten in de tuin. Het is een beetje oude bende om te zien, kan echt een opknapbeurt gebruiken! Menukaarten waren kleverig, alles beetje smoezelig eigenlijk. Het eten was gelukkig lekker. Ik schrok wel beetje van de prijzen. Zat eigenlijk echt niets voordeligs bij (zelfs een tomatensoep was EUR 8,75). Frisdrankje EUR 3,75. Dat niveau. Bediening was prima. Al met al goed gegeten dus, maar wel een flinke rekening ondanks niet veel gerechten op en geen koffie toe etc.

Heerlijk eten, vriendelijk personeel.

Goed eten voldoende qua grootte van de porties. Goede bediening. Wel wat steviger aan de prijs, maar dat wordt goed gemaakt door de kwaliteit

Erg gezellig en lekker kunnen eten! Moet eerlijk toegeven dat ik het tafelblad niet erg schoon vond, maar buiten dat gewoon super leuk hier. Gerechten zijn erg lekker en het aanbod is groot, tiramisù is hier ook een zekere aanrader. Mooie uitstraling van het restaurant.

Waarom is het personeel zo gehaast??? Als je iets vraagt zijn ze al weer weg voordat je nog wat kan vragen of bestellen. Lopen ook (bijna) te rennen wat een zeer oncomfortabel gevoel geeft als gast. Even twee stapjes terug en iets meer aandacht voor de klanten zou het veel aangenamer maken. Personeel overigens wel vriendelijk en eten was gewoon weer goed. Gaan ook zeker terug komen.

Het eten was heerlijk, hoefden niet lang te wachten maar het personeel deed zo gehaast. Is toch niet nodig?

Was even druk, maar met een drankje op een tafeltje gewacht. Het personeel loopt echt de poten uit hun lijf.👌

Eten was redelijk, maar het restaurant verdient een opknapbeurt. Bestek en borden kleven vast op het tafelblad. Meubels zijn outdated. Je zit op dierenvellen, met de twijfel of ze wel echt schoon zijn. Spiegels die er hangen zijn grauw, even als de wanden. Prijzen zijn hoog, voor ieder kommetje saus betaal je appart. De calamaris is taai. De sla bestaat uit grof gescheurde blaadjes.

Eten was top, steaks zijn zo mals als ze moeten zijn!! Service vlot en vriendelijk. Qua sfeer hadden ze goed hun best gedaan, alleen bij de grote ramen zit je wel tegen de kortbij geparkeerde auto's aan te kijken, klein minpuntje. Algemeen een toprestaurant en een bezoekje waard!
