First time getting take-out. Usually we go to our regular butcher in Alkmaar for the half chickens, but this time we tried it in Heiloo. In a word: fantastic! This will be our regular address.

Raadhuisweg 8It is really a very tasty and good restaurant, 1 chef and 1 lady who arranges everything. The service is really good and it's also nice that it is quiet. The food is fantastic, really extensive and perfect for an Indian. Highly recommended!

Kennemerstraatweg 380This ice cream parlor is out of this world! I'm asked: "Would you like one or two scoops?" Well, I think: I'll just—like usual—have two scoops. You get a real ice cream (I'm leaving out the "-je" where), which makes it a real struggle to eat it. I have to say, though: the delicious flavor makes this struggle more manageable.
