If you like tapas, this IS THE place!!!

This place is unbelievable. I ordered an open toastie as stated on the menu. It turned out to be two thin slices of bread that I think just came out of a toaster. Each slice was covered with one thin slice of ham, topped with a thin layer of melted cheese. It looked really pathetic. A small cardboard box with ketchup was included. Furthermore, no vegetables or salad were served with it. And yet they charged 7.50 euros for that!! My wife had a meat platter. That platter was also quite meager. A small bowl of tomato soup that contained absolutely nothing! But they charged 16.75 euros for it!!! We go everywhere, even to the most expensive places in the Netherlands, but have never felt so ripped off as in the village of Hoogerheide! A week earlier we were in Scheveningen at a beach bar, which is known to be very expensive, but you know that when you go there. We ordered the same thing: a very thick toastie with multiple layers of cheese and ham, which had clearly seen a toastie maker. Dressed with a tasty salad, for less money than this place in Hoogerheide. How in God's name is that possible??!! I think this place really needs to take a good look at itself, because this is obviously unacceptable! I won't even mention the amateurish service for a moment, because that little boy who served us came to serve dishes for another table first. We were sitting on the terrace for the record, but I don't think that makes much difference. I have seen a lot in this area over the past 35 years, but this place really takes the cake! And that in a village like Hoogerheide, not Scheveningen Boulevard, Amsterdam Leidseplein.

These men really deserve more than 5 stars. The food is truly sublime and the service is very friendly.

We had a delicious meal at El Sueño Food, Drinks & More in Hoogerheide. It is a nice and very welcoming restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. It is also a great place for families with children: the staff is very child-friendly. The tapas menu is nice and varied, with tasty dishes to share. Do keep in mind, however, that it can get a bit on the pricey side, as you tend to order multiple dishes. The beers on tap are also definitely worth trying.

A truly wonderful venue for delicious food and drinks. A charming setting. An extensive menu and a great selection of drinks. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and professional. Very reasonable prices. Suitable for all kinds of events and activities. Parking is nearby and free. Also highly recommended for cyclists and walkers. Let this venue surprise you.

A cozy setting with plenty of space around the table. The service is friendly, but a tip: we had the delicious speculaas cheesecake, but it was €7.50 each. That's a hefty price for a piece of cake, especially since everything else was reasonably priced.

Gezellig koffie drinken en aardige bediening.

Time for coffee and a treat! The Belgian waffles are delicious. Our absolute favorite is the warm apple pie with whipped cream!

Enjoy a pleasant meal here with delicious tapas. Very friendly service, atmospheric decor. We enjoy it every time.

Good service and very tasty food

Everything was fine, only a small glitch with the billing. I sent an email for correction, and a response followed immediately. For your information, a photo of the bill is below.

It was truly delicious; we left the choice up to the chef. I don't eat gluten, but my husband does, and everything was taken into account: sauces on the side, small portions of bread, etc. Friendly service, and everything was very well-organized.

It's been a long time but we'll be back sooner now

Delicious food, atmospheric restaurant and friendly owner.

We had lunch here last week. The ribeye carpaccio was excellent, the right amount, and delicious. All of this in a cozy, atmospheric setting. We will definitely be back.

El Sueno is a really nice location to enjoy cocktails in the center of Hasselt. Nice atmosphere and nice background music so good vibes only! The Aperol Spritz they make there also tastes great!

The service was very friendly and hospitable. But the food, the idea is that it is Spanish dishes. But I couldn't call these dishes that. The food is very boring and not special at all, very simple and tasteless. The prices are also way too high for what you get. I was with 2 others and we did 2 rounds, so each about 2 snacks per person and 2 drinks cost no less than 110 euros. Wasn't quite worth it unfortunately.

Super fun thing. The owner is very friendly and guest oriented.

So called Spanish dishes without any imagination or taste. The aioli sauce was just mayonnaise without the garlic added. The cook was constantly looking at his laptop. Or a soap or how to prepare dishes. Conclusion: tasteless whole.

Cozy nice place. Zarzuela was great

We went here for a snack with friends. Was the first time. We found it disappointing. You paid a lot for what you got. Some things could have simply been bought from the supermarket and presented on a plate. So are the sauces. They were still in plastic containers. We certainly expected more given the prices. It was an expensive bill at the end of the evening and I didn't feel satisfied. Pity.

Good restaurant and good, pleasant and friendly service. Contrary to what the name suggests, the menu is not entirely Spanish. It's a nice mix of local and international dishes. Completed with a Spanish touch. There are definitely tapas on the menu.

Het word beter en beter met de Horeca in Hoogerheide .. Nu zijn we in hier iets gaan eten,Tapas en andere lekkernijen. Rustig en toch druk!! Dan kan het alleen maar goed zijn. Een goede en vriendelijke bediening in combinatie met lekker eten is Pico Bello .. 45 rijden van Antwerpen is dik de moeite waard ..

Leuk restaurantje met vriendelijke eigenaars en goed eten

Jamer dat er geen dressing bij de sla zat. Geen boter ook.wijnig mayonaise bij de frietsjes.. en vroegen ook niet.of je bruin of wit brood wilden. Voor de rest was het goed..

Heerlijk gegeten. Voorgerecht van gamba’s in knoflook olie. Super lekker. Ik zeebaars, huid lekker krokant. Genoeg groente en frites. Mijn man spareribs zonder bot. Ook hij meer dan genoeg. Het vlees goed gemarineerd en zacht. Gewoon goed bereid door de chef. Onze complimenten. Mijn man een dame blanche na. Prima dessert en qua hoeveelheid meer dan voldoende. Lekkere kop koffie na met bonbon.

Wilde daar lunchen met een vriendin. De deur stond open dus wij naar binnen. We kregen te horen dat ze pas om 12 uur open gingen. Het was half 12. We moesten buiten wachten. Ik heb een aandoening waarbij de muziek hard binnen komt, dus vroeg de serveerster of de muziek iets zachter mocht. Ze was heel vriendelijk toonde begrip en zette hem iets zachter. Echter korte tijd later zette de eigenaar hem weer harder. Het eten kwam snel en was lekker. Helaas voor de baas mag en kan ik niet snel eten, dus keek hij ons op een zeker moment haast buiten. De vloer was vuil. Vol voetstappen terwijl de zaak net open was, en ook op de plint zat stof. Echt schoon is anders. Voor ons geen tweede x meer als een eigenaar geen begrip kan tonen, en we buiten moeten wachten ook al is de deur open. Laat die dan dicht of geef aan dat je alvast kan gaan zitten maar de bediening pas om 12 uur begint.

Gezellig en lekker gegeten en een leuke bediening. Wel erg karig wat groenten betrof: 1 peentje, 1 miniscuul stukje bloemkool, 1 asperge en een lepeltje prut (smaakte naar broccoli) en een lepeltje champignonsaus wat je amper zag. Maar het smaakte goed!

Mooie ambiance,open keuken, fijne stoelen om op te zitten , lekker gegeten. Tip: voor de lunch ook maaltijdsalades met bijv carpaccio op de kaart zetten.

Het eten is goed en de bediening prima.Het is altijd heel gezellig!!

Lekker eten ,leuke mensen die er werken maar spaans is een groot woord,te weinig aanbod voor spaans te zijn en supplement brood is maar magertjes ik zou broodjes geven

zag er veel belovend uit.begonnen met aperitief dat naar water smaakten, voorgerecht tapas plankje wat olijven 2 soorten ham ,schelletje chorizo, 2harde worstjes blokje kaas zonder smaak,hoofd gerecht zarzuela vis droog gebakken veel zout niet wat ik had verwacht,nagerechtje was mooi opgemaakt en lekker spijtig genoeg niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Vele malen wezen dineren zowel op het leuke terras als binnen. Heerlijk mooi gepresenteerd eten. We zijn nu bijna 3 jaar woonachtig op Bali, maar mochten we ooit nog eens in Nederland komen dan zullen we er zeker weer komen eten. Aardige eigenaars die zelf bereiden en bedienen. Prijs kwaliteit in evenwicht. Echt een aanrader. TOP!!!!
