Schön gelegenes Bistro / Restaurant direkt am Wasser, aus mehreren Richtungen sehr gut mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. Wir hatten das Glück einen Tisch auf dem Steg zu „ erwischen“ und konnten so unser Abendessen in der Abendsonne genießen. Sehr freundliche junge Frauen im Service, aufmerksam und flott. Die Karte bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas - Fisch, Fleisch, Vegetarische und auch Vegan. Wir hatten Fisch und Huhn, beides sehr lecker . Dazu gibt es eine große Auswahl an Getränken, sogar mit einer separaten Bierkarte. Insgesamt eine Empfehlung !

In de zomer rijden we altijd met de Scootmobielen vanaf de Zevenhuizerplas richting de Rotte en rijden op de linkeroever naar de A 12 en zo richting Zevenhuizen en de Roerdomp waar we altijd gaan lunchen. We komen hier al 15 jaar omdat het daar gezellig is met uitkijk op de plas en goed eten. Soms hebben we pech want dan is het stampvol ondanks dat de Roerdomp zo groot is geworden. Marlika en René

Reuze gezellig, lekker aan het water. Zeer, maar dan ook zeer professionele bediening. Heel kantvriendelijk. Super lekker eten, met verrassende combinaties.

Eating option during the walk, cozy atmosphere with a view of the lake. Pleasant service. Food (teriyaki sandwich was ok, too bland for me, could use more flavor) A lot on the menu is fries, croquettes, frikandel and more, I believe. Still an occasion I would go to more often.

Fantastic place, honest and delicious food, nice service

Celebrated my partner's birthday on Friday, November 8, 2024 with lunch at this restaurant. During a previous visit, we had agreed on a specific table for five people. However, upon arrival it turned out that this had been forgiven to others. Shame. However, despite this disappointment, the lunch was fine. The service was very nice and the food was sufficient and of good quality. The final score for the entire company was more than satisfactory.

On October 27, we celebrated my 70th birthday at De Roerdomp with family and friends. It was an unforgettable birthday. The hot and cold snacks and the chicken satay that was offered at the end of the party were delicious. The team was very attentive and their enthusiasm was noticed by the entire party. The children also received a lot of attention. A separate table was set up for them. The party at the beautiful location on the Rotte will always remain a cherished memory. Peter van den Houten

Beautiful place on the water, many people came by bike to enjoy the sun and view. Wide choice of lunch dishes. Good price-quality ratio. Salmon club sandwich is highly recommended, salmon is specially smoked. But actually it all looked good, including the drinks board next to us. Parking can be a challenge.

Excellent meal salads are served here. When the weather is nice, this is of course a beautiful terrace in a quiet location. The service is also friendly and correct. In my opinion, worth 5 stars!☀️

Cozy location. Friendly service. It can be busy, so make a reservation. However, they only reserve indoors. If there is a table available outside, you can sit there.

We also enjoyed eating here again. This was our first time in this cozy restaurant. Beautiful surroundings and atmospheric. Especially important is that the service is super friendly and attentive and that they can proudly serve the food because it is really good. We will definitely come here more often.

Fantastisch gegeten en een heerlijk biertje gedronken (neuborg). Ooraf zalm en tonijn en als hoofdgerecht de steak sukade wat was dit een heerlijk stuk vlees.

The water terrace is idyllic! View of windmills, swans swimming past. Also accessible by wheelchair, but a chair/table must be moved. From the parking lot there is a slight slope towards Bittern. Very friendly and helpful team.

Beautiful location as the start, stopover or end point of a walk or bike ride. Or just to go for a drink and/or something to eat. It's a pleasant atmosphere. Dogs allowed, provided they are dry and on a leash. I believe dogs are allowed inside until 5:00 PM.

Were here for the 2nd time with a bike ride along the Rotte. Had fish lunch. But a little too little fantasy in it. The service was still great.

You sometimes have those surprises that just happen to you. We arrived here by bike and there was a tefeltje available on the water. It started with the reception. What a friendly and cheerful lady. You suddenly felt a lot better. We enjoyed a nice beer and a delicious lunch. Compliments to the hostess, because this is how you ensure that people come back.

What a downer on a sunny Sunday afternoon, you come with a group of 9 people for lunch/you can no longer order dinner because the kitchen starts eating at 4 o'clock and therefore our group takes up too much time. We were already there at a quarter to 4!! Very, very strange, and disappointing, there are enough staff around. We were able to get drinks and appetizers. I don't understand this at all, take turns eating and don't disappoint your customers!! We won't be coming here again for a while!!

Had lunch here with friends on July 28. A beautiful place located on the water. Very friendly staff and delicious food. I personally had oriental chicken on brown bread. Generous sandwich and deliciously seasoned chicken, with garnish. The other guests at the table also thought the food was perfect. Delicious fresh orange juice. We think this place is highly recommended.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends at this fantastic location. It was really great. We discussed with Leontine in advance how we would like it to be done and that turned out to be no problem at all. Our guests were very satisfied with the location, the tasty snacks and drinks, there was more than enough of everything. I haven't heard any complaints. Everyone had a great time and they all enjoyed it, including us most of all!! The staff deserves a big compliment, they were all super friendly and patient. We regularly come here for a nice cup of coffee with something tasty or a delicious lunch and we will continue to do so when we are in the area. Really a recommendation!!

Nice location with a cozy large restaurant divided into several cozy areas, which makes it appear intimate. Also large outdoor terraces with beautiful views over the Rotte. Dog friendly. Clear menu with large portions. Friendly but pleasant staff. Highly recommended

Delicious cup of tea with a beautiful view of the lake. 2 rooms so we could sit in a quiet spot. We were served very politely and quickly even though we were out of sight.

top locatie en groot geworden. eten was weer voortreffelijk. maken we scooter rondje Zevenhuizerplas - Rotte - Zevenhuizen, strijken we altijd hier neer.

Locatie is Top Personeel zeer oplettend en vriendelijk Geweldig. De keuze om dan toch voldoende te geven is omdat de stoelen verschrikkelijk zitten. Wij als groep dames zijn niet gezet maar hebben wel brede heupen waardoor de boog aan de zijkant van de stoelen als pijnlijk aanvoelde. We hebben daardoor alleen een drankje genomen en niet een maaltijd. Dat is jammer.Verder alles een cijfer 10

Everything is great! Staff friendly. Very attentive to the guests. Food is fine! Just a shame about those seats outside with those hard curves on the side. What do they hurt with slightly wider hips? Please let me know if there are new chairs outside and I will come again 🥰

The reviews above surprise me. The location is of course beautiful. I am neutral about the service. The food though. What a loveless bite. I had a chicken sandwich. I knew that. The sandwich was covered in what appeared to be a kilo of chicken pieces. The three of you could eat that. While I'm quite a big eater, I ate a third of it at best. The chicken was quite tasteless. It could hardly have been otherwise. But 'fortunately' there was still a perfunctory bit of salad. Strings of cabbage and carrot in mayonnaise on a bed of lettuce that had seen its best days. What exactly is "love" when it comes to food? Well, that's the difference between doing your best to serve customers something tasty and taking credit for it or dutifully serving something from the 1980s cafe handbook: "how do I prepare a big bite of food as quickly as possible without it costs me too much effort." Waste of money. If you like good food, don't come here. Once never again. I don't understand why this post was initially rejected. It just wasn't good. That's allowed, right? There's nothing offensive in it.

Beautiful restaurant. Beautifully located along the cycle/walking paths of the Rotte, many old craft tools displayed on the walls, ceiling and standing in the rooms. Food is very good, especially considering the price-quality ratio. Dishes change with the season. But they also know how to keep the classics up to date. Worth a visit during a cycling/walking tour or if you want to celebrate as a local!

What a nice place on the water! friendly girls in the service who help the guests with great pleasure and enthusiasm. Delicious food, the garnish for the dishes was really made with care, including Haricoverts wrapped in bacon! You can tell by everything that people work here with love for the catering profession, thank you!!

Went last septenber for a reunion was great good food good sevice as a youg kid we came hefe every weekend 30 jears ago , now the son and his wife runs the place , i remember his parents , we came always with frinds playing billart and drinking wodka/jus 🫣 nice place

We waren een daagje met 6 personen aan het fietsen langs de rotte en dachten hier te gaan eten maar daar doen we nooit meer. We besteld en om 13.15 uur de drank kwam vrij snel maar op het eten was een ramp om 14.10 vroegen we hoe lang hey nog duurde de bediende ging kijken en zij nog 5 minuten dit werden er 20. Vroeg later waarom he zo lang duurde ja het was druk en er was te weinig personeel in de keuken. Een slechte smoes dan moet je gewoon een gedeelte van de tafels sluiten. En als service had je de klant een gratis consumptie aan kunnen bieden. Als het druk is ga er niet eten.

Lekker eten een leuk uitkijken over het water. Ondanks personeel gebrek redelijk snel geholpen, compliment!
