Still the place to go , great coffee which is hot and the cakes to dream of . The wonderful staff are so friendly and helpful as always. Totally recommend.

Very nice spot and opens very early. Great for getting started if you need to be somewhere early. The food is tasty and the coffee is good.

Poor value for money. The bagel and roll were not fresh. Unfortunately, the coffee was also disappointing, which is something I had specifically looked for.

If you arrive there at 15:07, you won't exactly receive a warm welcome. I don't know the young lady's name, but looking away disrespectfully and reacting curtly is a no-go!! Everyone has difficult days sometimes, but if someone asks you if they can have a croissant and you immediately say: "We are closing soon," while there are still at least 45 minutes before 16:00, then you should definitely close. If you don't want to work in a hospitable way, you'd better look for another job. As far as I know, people can just order something in peace if it says they close at 16:00 🤨 The food is great, but some staff are simply not hospitable people. They really need to look for better staff. Because it's not the first time things have gone this way.

Very disappointing experience. Upon entering, the staff were visibly on their phones, after which my sandwich was prepared immediately without washing their hands. That inspires little confidence in hygiene. Additionally, the sandwich was literally shoved towards me without any eye contact or sign of hospitality, only to be moved on to the next customer immediately. It felt rushed and impersonal. Also striking: the loaves are simply taken out of cardboard freezer boxes from Hanos and then baked. That is fine, of course, if you are honest about it, but then don't call it artisan bread. For truly fresh and artisan bread, you are better off going to a local baker or city baker. To top it all off, the matcha was also incredibly disgusting. Watery, flat in taste, and totally not what you expect when ordering something of quality.

A great place for matcha fans—you can tell they know their stuff. The drink is perfectly prepared: intense flavor, well-balanced bitterness, and creamy consistency. Plus, it has a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. Definitely one of the best places for matcha—I'll be back.

I have no idea where the positive reviews come from, but as someone who drinks matcha several times a week, this was a huge disappointment. It was honestly the worst matcha I've ever had! The taste was extremely sour and bitter. For the price of €7, you expect a delicious matcha, but this was simply undrinkable. Not recommended for true matcha connoisseurs.

I honestly don't understand where all the rave reviews are coming from. My experience was completely different. What I do notice is that after a few less positive reviews appear, a huge number of five-star reviews suddenly appear in a short time. It feels a bit like there's a "review boost" button behind the counter!

I really liked this place. I ordered a filled croissant — it was warm, crispy and had a generous amount of filling. I was also pleasantly surprised by the coffee. It’s actually quite rare to find really good coffee, but this one was genuinely great. Overall, a lovely place — definitely recommend.

The worst matcha I've ever had. Seriously, I didn't know matcha could taste like this. It tasted more like a glass of green-tinged water than matcha. So watery I wondered if the matcha had gotten lost somewhere along the way. The taste... let's just say it didn't remind me of Japan, but rather of something you'd rather not taste. Also, the staff weren't exactly cheerful. Apparently, a smile was an extra ingredient that wasn't in stock yesterday.

I'd heard some good things about this place's sandwiches, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. On a Sunday, I went in around 2:00 PM to order a takeaway sandwich, but the staff told me they wouldn't be making any more 😂 I found that odd, since the place was open until 2:30 PM and the patio was still packed. Apparently, cleaning up the patio isn't a problem, but making a sandwich at 2:00 PM is asking too much. If you're open until 2:30 PM, I honestly expect you can order until then. Otherwise, you'd be better off adjusting your opening hours or not opening a sandwich shop at all. For me, at least, that's a reason not to come back. Too bad.

The iced matcha was okay. A bit pricey at €6.50. The service was also okay, not super friendly but not unfriendly either. It did take a while before we were helped.

The bagel was old and clearly not fresh. We had to ask the staff to clean the table; they walked past us several times without even looking. It's a very disinterested place with little attention to customers. The staff was disengaged, and it was uncomfortably cold inside. All in all, a disappointing and unwelcoming experience.

Why does all my bread smell like perfume???? If you're going to hand out bread to customers, you have to wash off the perfume smell before you start working!!!!

The breakfast is a bit overpriced. But it's really good and made with fresh ingredients. It was something different and very tasty. The staff are friendly. Unfortunately, it's a bit drafty there.

I went there to drink matcha because of the reviews. I don't know if something went wrong, but this was honestly the worst matcha I've ever had. It was bitter and sour, and for €7, that's a real shame.

Pretty often coming to this place. Great option for fresh bread and morning croissants. Good drinks (the best matcha in the town). Also like the choice of alternative milk in EDB, as a lactose intolerant this is just perfect. We also tried lunch here not once and each time we were happy with our choice of a place. So yeap definitely five stars from me.

A lovely spot for a delicious breakfast, and the outdoor seating is lovely. We had a hearty breakfast and an acai bowl. It wasn't expensive and was deliciously topped with lots of fruit.

I have been coming here every week for months with the same order on the same day and so far I have not managed to have the ordering and pick-up the next day go smoothly even once. The feeling of a loyal customer is hard to find here unfortunately. Large loaves are great here. Small loaves too but for the service you are better off going to an ah-to-go. A crying shame.

They are dirty scammers, you come there every week and pay an absurdly high amount for everything, but because someone else comes to pick something up for you because you are sick, they make another amount even higher and if you say this is not correct, you will NEVER go to Everyday Bread Zwolle again! Dirty scammers make their own devised prices for the filthy frozen sweet fake junk they have. Customer is king, there is no such thing as if you order something wrong, they don't think anything of it

Everything is delicious. The chicken sandwich is amazing - and the salad is sweet and flavorful - the bread is fresh and they have it without gluten.

Always good food, especially the acai bowl. It's a shame they no longer have pear juice

Everyday bread… & Coffee is our favorite in Zwolle. You can go here for the tastiest coffee (Bart's specialty Coffee). The coffee is so good! We now also use these beans at home. You can also have a delicious breakfast and/or lunch here. The Açai Bowl is our favorite.

Thought we would try this as a change to Bagels and Beans. Comfy chairs. Better yoghurt, larger fresh orange but smaller cappuccino and - strangely for a cafe with bread in the title - STALE BAGELS.

Sinds ik in de binnenstad van Zwolle woon is dit een van mijn favoriete plekjes geworden. Ze hebben de lekkerste croissantjes en goede koffie! Daarnaast ben ik vanochtend heel fijn geholpen bij het afstellen van mijn eigen Sage espresso machine en gaf Bart mij een mini koffietraining!

Bij uitstek de beste specialty coffee/ barista cafe van Zwolle. Super vriendelijk personeel, heerlijke espresso, cappuccino, dirty chai en iced lattes. Daarnaast worden er goede ontbijtbowls geserveerd, huisgemaakte muffins en gebakjes (en dat proef je) en een must try: croissantje met verse kaas. 🥐🧀 ☕️

De beste koffie van Zwolle en omstreken met barista's met passie voor hun vak! Een aanrader om eens te ervaren hoe echt goede koffie smaakt. Sinds kort de bonen ook aan huis en werd ik zelfs nog geholpen om de koffiemachine juist in te stellen. Topservice!
