Not bad products, but the sourdough bread is not real sourdough bread. It contains bread improver. I also bought a ‘whole wheat bread’ according to the saleswoman, but it was absolutely not whole wheat. White with some seeds. Friendly service.

Quality has declined lately. Croissants are limp and flat. The service has clearly become less interested.

Real French baguette, unique in the Netherlands

Nice bakery, but the sourdough bread they have is yeast bread with a little sourdough powder added. The girl at the counter told me that besides these sourdough breads, they also had sourdough bread... I had to tell her it was the same! The so-called sourdough bread turned out to still be yeast bread. Such a shame.

Very tempting delicacies that I often take a small detour for. Super sweet staff who can always help me fulfill my temptations (don't stop me!) Oh yes, the free samples... (!!!!)

Bought fantastic brioche bread.

This week during our visit to Zwolle the authentic bakery immediately stood out. After a visit to the Fundatie and the well-known bookstore in the Broeren we decided to take something tasty with us to Brabant. The perfectly executed moullers with orange and the other with chocolate were a true taste sensation. The next morning we enjoyed the delicious spelt bread with figs and nuts. On a next visit to the Fundatie we will definitely visit the Stadsbakker again.

Croissants and focaccia not good.. I had hoped to find a good bakery in Zwolle, but unfortunately this turned out to be a disappointment.

Bought focaccia and nut bread here. Very tasty. We had also been introduced to their sourdough bread at Coperto restaurant.

Ik had gezegd dat ik morgen terug zou komen als het stokbrood beviel, realiseer me net dat ik morgen niet kan. Dus dan maar zo. Echt hulde! Dichter bij Frans stokbrood ben ik in Nederland nog niet gekomen; absoluut ambachtelijk vakwerk. 10/10!

Prima bakker. Bestel hier elk jaar spijs rood zonder noten ivm mijn allergie voor noten. Nu helaas maar 3 sterren omdat mijn bestelling was blijven liggen en niemand wist wat het was...

Super lekker brood en ander lekkers

Een desem volkoren en ciabatta gekocht. Geprobeerd maar niet onder de indruk van de smaak. Ciabatta erg droog en te zout. Desem volkoren, weinig smaak en slechte structuur. Als referentie gebruik ik desem brood van De Veldkeuken - Ameliswerd. Ik raad de bakkers aan hier eens wat broden te proberen en als streefkwaliteit te nemen.

Ik ben een kies kwijt die tevoren gaaf was .. Oorzaak : een steentje in het brood.

Voor mijn moeder brood besteld, de dag zelf waren ze haar vergeten te bezorgen..wat jammer is, want ze kan haar huis niet uit en zat zonder brood, de volgende dag werd het snel in haar handen gedrukt. Het krentenbrood was vers, de rest was duidelijk van de dag daarvoor en helemaal plat gedrukt. Ik heb hierover geklaagd maar ze kunnen zich hier niet in herkennen.. jammer

I recommend very tasty desserts, whenever I can buy only bread here because it is the best. For this very nice service. It is with them that I liked the carrot cake 🥰🥰

Kwaliteitsbakker met heerlijke mueslibollen

Looks very nice and I like the old tradition feeling and smell inside. My opinion is a bit pricey.

rond lunchtijd maar 2 broodje om uit te kiezen. Koos voor gezond, zou ei op zitten. Zat het niet, jammer. Brood was ook keihard. Was ook echt prijzig dus.

Wat een heerlijke oranje tompoucen! Bros bladerdeeg en romige banketbakkersroom en slagroom. Een topper!

Prachtige zaak. Zo veel meer dan een hip uiterlijk. Echt heel mooie producten. Zeker niet voordelig (tov andere warme/authentieke bakkers), maar dat maakt niets uit, want het is zo leuk om deze producten te kopen en vooral te eten!
