Great matcha latte, with oat milk and unsweetened as standard! ❤ The espresso, cappuccino, and scones were also excellent, and the service was exceptionally friendly. Perfect for enjoying outside on a sunny day.

Expresszo fills right up early and stays that way all day, so be strategic with your arrival time. They put out current newspapers for patrons, but you're not allowed to be on your laptop or tablet (probably to keep the nearby university students from monopolizing the tables), so come ready to eat, read, and talk. The food is prepared with care, and the staff are kind. The stairs have a cool underlighting, too!

A very nice café with excellent coffee. We had an Americano and a cappuccino, along with some pastries. Both were very good quality. The atmosphere is cozy, and you'll want to relax there for hours. The beans seem to be roasted in-house, and the coffee machine is a classic Marzocco. I'd go back anytime!

perfect place just outside the hustle and bustle of the market. The cappuccino is perfect!! Ditto the homemade cakes. Also vegan/gluten-free, everything made in-house. RECOMMENDED. Thank you.

Delicious coffee and a quiet atmosphere. You will completely relax there!

Wonderful iced matcha latte , you can tell the matcha itself is very high quality and they used plant based milk (oat I believe) with really pleasant flavour. 🍵 Atmosphere is cosy with indoor and outdoor seating options. Only thing to keep in mind is that they have no laptop policy, which is a bit of a pity considering it seems to be hard finding good laptop friendly cafes in Zeeland.

Whenever we are in Middelburg we go for a coffee here. The Expresszo is small but homely and blessed with a quiet ambience despite its central location. The service is extremely courteous (water for our woof was freshly refilled and brought to our table) and nice. Coffee and other drinks very tasty. We will definitely come back on our next visit.

Best place i know in Middelburg for good coffee.. if you like coffee make a stop here. Normally they have 2 kind of beans in 2 hoppers. One of the 2 you will like. If you dont know what you like... They can explain the flavour and help you decide

Joke. The internet says it's open. Once there, the door is open, the tables are outside and the owner, looking at me like I'm a homeless person, says it's closed. The Netherlands is a tolerant country . Does sportswear exclude me from using the services?

We ate one of the tastiest appeltaarts ever here. Me with an espresso and my husband with a coffee. Delicious, chilled and very friendly. What more could you want on the first day of your holiday in Zeeland.

If you know anything about coffee, it won’t take longer than your first sip to know that you are in the right place!! I drive 30 min happily for that espresso! An absolute must go-to!

Unfortunately, I have only just found this great café discovered on my second visit to Middelburg on the last day of my vacation. Nice atmosphere, very good cake and a very nice barista who does his job with passion. On his recommendation, I tried 2 flat whites with different beans and was grateful for them! A must for coffee lovers.

The place for coffee lovers. Alternating coffee beans. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their offerings. Despite the name, they also do a good filter coffee with a "Sage Precision Brewer". Taste was very complex and rich. The pastries are also recommended.

Very nice, small café in the immediate vicinity of the market square. Very, very tasty coffee, the filter coffee is freshly made and served. Small children are also welcome for an apple spritzer :) and we had a nice conversation with the waitress. We felt very comfortable and would like to come back.

We hebben ons verblijf van drie dagen zeer prettig ervaren,we zijn erg vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaar met tips waar we ook iets mee konden. Heerlijk vers ontbijt,we hadden een authentieke mooi gerenoveerde kamer voor onze Ibike was ook ruimte om deze s’nachts te stallen. Wederom we hebben erg genoten!!!

The Expresszo was the destination for our little break today. Small, cozy outdoor area, very centrally located near the market square, but still quite quiet. We were served very attentively. What should be highlighted is the coffee selection, which offers something for every taste. Even our little dog was there welcome guest

Great Coffee, and the breakfast was just perfect. A tiny bike path goes in between the restaurant area, while you enjoy your coffee you see a lot of bikers passing by, it was kinda nice to see this mix.

Very nice café where you can have a quick breakfast and start the day. The porridge (vegan) was excellent, as were the croissants with cheese or jam, the freshly squeezed orange juice and the Greek yogurt with fruit. There is also soy milk. The service was great!!! We'd love to come back!
