Friendly service, cozy terrace and good food. Very enjoyable for a quick and easy lunch.

It's on the more expensive side, but I highly recommend it. The staff is friendly, and everything we got was excellent!

A very cute café with vegan cake and milk alternatives. The cake and coffee were delicious and reasonably priced. The pleasant atmosphere made it easy to pass the time, and even after closing time, we weren't rushed; we were allowed to stay until shortly before the employees left. We'd be happy to come back.

The food was delicious! A highly recommended café with a lovely modern Dutch flair. Most importantly, they also offered vegan cake and milk, so everyone could find something they liked. The service was very good, and the waitresses were very attentive and friendly. Most importantly, we were allowed to stay 40 minutes longer than closing time without being hassled; we were only politely asked to pay shortly before the employees left the shop. We'd be happy to come back.

Affordable cafeteria. Nice decoration. Although I decided to stand up and order, since it took too long to take my order. I ordered an iced latte, which was good, and banana bread, which came warm. I was pleasantly surprised by that.

Delicious drinks, scones are quite good. The service, however, was pretty unrealistic. We went in and looked for a table inside and outside. Unfortunately, there were no seats available, so we waited a few minutes inside for a seat. (It was raining heavily.) The waiters completely ignored us and walked right past us. We didn't even get a friendly smile. Another customer said something similar, which we overheard. Once we were seated, the impression was a bit better, and we were served quite quickly. However, none of the waitresses were available to pay. Even after waving and trying to speak to someone several times, we were ignored. So we went to the front of the counter to pay. The ambiance is very sweet and cozy.

Breakfast is our thing… It said “Ontbijt” outside – meaning in. Totally cute and homely furnished, nice and partly alternative menu and after a bit of a wait in the entrance area, quite nice service. Pancakes with bacon and syrup to dream of, plus delicious drinks. That's how you can leave it...

These wafels were the best thing on my whole trip!! The taste of the sweet wafels mixed with the sour cherrys is just amazing and makes an perfect experience! Plus the dishes are super cute and all in all the Atmosphere was really nice! <3

Update: December 17, 2024: Another year later everything is still great. No matter what you order. Everything tastes delicious. The service is super friendly and helpful, even if you only speak German. The ambience is welcoming and warm, you feel like you are in a cozy living room instead of a cafe. Highly recommended. Update December 12, 2023: After 1 year it was there... and still as great as it would have been the first time. This time we had bagels which were very tasty. But the crowning glory was the cake (brownie cheesecake) and the latte macchiatto. Truly a treat for cake lovers and something special. The café is still beautifully decorated and the service was incredibly friendly. Thank you for a lovely lunch with you. 2022: A very nice cafe. You immediately feel at home as soon as you enter. Many mugs hanging on the wall are available for purchase. All handwork. The food was really tasty, even the bread was homemade. The employees were very friendly. All in all, an absolute tip if you want to eat delicious food or just drink a coffee in Middelburg. Highly recommended.

A cozy little cafe with, despite a tiny kitchen, an original menu with food and drinks for in between. You can sit both outside and inside with very friendly staff who think along with you. My disabled son also liked it. For me, I especially liked that you can park nearby. Key words are: simple, original, and friendly. Definitely recommended to try

I chose Wooncafé because of its excellent reviews - and because it was just a stone's throw from our current location. It's very homely, and our drinks (season menu: Spekuloos coffee) were prepared with great care and surprisingly served with Oliebollen, fantastic! While my wife was still browsing through the shops, I spent a very pleasant 90 minutes here! Suddenly I was the last guest, but everyone was super friendly and attentive from start to finish. Respect.

I come here regularly. You can have breakfast, lunch here and the cakes are delicious. Highly recommended. The coffee and tea are always beautifully served! For that alone I would love to come back here.

When we were on vacation in Holland, it was a must to stop by there to have a nice cup of coffee and, above all, to eat the homemade waffles and pancakes!!! I loved it!! But this year it was very disappointing, we had to wait a long time until service came. There were no delicious pancakes and the waffles weren't homemade either... Unfortunately our service wasn't that friendly. When the "old boss" was still there, everything worked out!
