What a beautiful terrace, nice to sit for a bit in the summer heat. And just enjoying a nice apple pie, as usual during the holidays. So, a nice coffee and a delicious apple pie, nuts, fruit, and flaked almonds – simply a winner. I think this restaurant makes them themselves in their own kitchen – a real winner. Coffee and latte macchiato are also just delicious. Top restaurant, a moment of peace during a busy shopping day.

The tomato on the hamburger was warmer than the burger itself. The server, however, was a real gem.

Service from the staff is fine, but what a bad example from the manager. They sit among the customers drinking beer and watching movies, shouting at the staff and distracting them.

We dined here with 2 adults and 2 children after a day of shopping. Around 5:45 PM, a few tables were occupied and there were plenty of seats left. The request for a drink was made quickly, while the menus were being handed out. The drinks (soft drinks) were placed on the table within a short time and the food order was taken. Other tables had to wait longer for their drinks. The waitress apologized for this. The food was on the table within 20 minutes of ordering. At our request, the satay sauce for the chicken satay was not poured over the meat, but was served separately in a small bowl. The chicken satay tasted good. The mini pancakes were also well fried and tasted good. The temperature of all dishes was fine, although there were a few cold fries here and there. That can happen. The burger connoisseur among us gave the following comment on the burger: - Score 8 out of 10. - Sauce was fine; tasted good on the burger and was a good combination. - The hamburger itself (the meat) could be a bit thicker. - The separate ingredients on the burger (tomato slices and pickle) were stacked on top of each other and stuck together. It would be tastier if they all had their own spot on the burger, side by side. The bill was around €70. There are small tables right near the cash register. When you pay, you stand with your back to the person sitting there eating. Little privacy. The decor inside the place was fine, but the tables deviated from this somewhat. In itself a fine alternative to McDonald's, for example. Portions are enough to satisfy a reasonably big eater. But we won't drive a long way out of our way to eat here again. Possibly another time after shopping in BataviaStad.

Beautiful renovated location. Had a delicious lunch. Highly recommended if you are spending a day in Batavia Stad.

We ordered drinks and bitterballen. It took a very long time to get our order, and unfortunately, the snacks were already quite cold. They had been sitting on the counter for quite a while. Too bad... We didn't get our drinks until ten, when another employee noticed we already had the bitterballen.

I had lunch here yesterday with my daughter and my girlfriend. I had a fashion burger, my daughter a carpatio, and my girlfriend a grilled cheese sandwich. Simply DELICIOUS food, with delicious fries and super friendly service. We got our food in no time, and the price was very reasonable. Including drinks (I had a large glass of freshly squeezed orange juice, and the ladies a coke and spa), it was €55, which was definitely worth it. If my daughter wants to shop here again, I know where to go for lunch, and I highly recommend it.

Lunch during a visit to Bataviastad. The Sunday before Christmas. It wasn't too busy; we wouldn't have sat there otherwise. Service was quick. My chicken Caesar salad was fantastic, very generous with the chicken. And lots of croutons too. No regrets, I'll order again next time.

The service is okay, but the kitchen staff at the door are talking incredibly loudly. The food and drinks have gotten incredibly bad at the new location. The latte macchiato might as well have been an iced coffee, it was lukewarm. The toasted sandwich was limp, warm on the outside and practically cold on the inside. The bread with the fancy croquette had a really strange aftertaste. I would recommend eating elsewhere when visiting Bataviastad.

No toilet available. Staff are very arrogant. Cramped spaces. Everything is disgusting. Pinsa has no taste. Fries are fried in old oil.

We had a nice time at Bataviastad and decided to have a nice lunch at the Fashion Café. Unfortunately, the soups listed on the menu turned out to be unavailable; only the onion soup was still on offer. My father and I ordered a fresh mint tea and a cappuccino. However, I had to send my mint tea back twice because it contained bugs. Three employees stood around looking at my cup of tea, but no apology was offered—they just said I would get a new one. The third time, they had taken the mint from another container, and fortunately, it was fine then. In the end, I still had to pay for the tea. Personally, I think this drink should have been on the house, but of course, everyone has their own way of doing things.

We were greeted kindly at the entrance and allowed to sit down somewhere. We enjoyed delicious coffee with a festive pastry. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is good. We will come back here again!

What a pathetic mess here! More than half the menu was already gone by 1:30 PM. As a result, some of our group went without food. The rest of us ordered "just that." But even the toasted sandwiches were terrible. A boiled egg on top and dry bread. What a mess. Just off to McDonald's for the rest of our group...

It was a terrible place. We arrived around lunchtime, and the table was quickly wiped down with a much-too-wet cloth. The waiter came to our table to tell us we could only have drinks because the kitchen was closing, and that it would take 15, 20 minutes, or maybe even longer, before we could order because they were too busy. We finally managed to order, but the fries weren't cooked properly and were cold.

Dirty, filthy chairs with stains. Dirty tables.

Several low tables had blue/green fabric chairs that were so filthy you didn't want to sit on them! One of the chairs had probably had an accident just before us and was wet. The chair also smelled of urine. No matter how friendly the staff may be, if your furniture is this dirty, you don't feel confident ordering food.

Staff no contact with each other. They said you can sit against the wall at the high table. Halfway through, let other staff sit there with other customers. Then we sat at the long table between other people. Just took the last bite, someone immediately came to clear the plates. Wasn't busy anymore! Felt rushed.

Worthless, kicked out before going home we thought we'd have a quick drink, you're not allowed in with your dog in a stroller, such a shame

The location is right in Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet. You can opt for a sunny spot or sit inside. The homemade ice tea is nice. The sandwiches are good and freshly prepared. The jasmine tea is with loose tea leaves rather than tea bags. This basic thing impressed us the most!!

A good experience with the Café. Friendly and helpful staff. Just priced and good food. The experience of serving tomato soup is highly recommended to try. The crispy croissant was delicious with the fresh fruit. The classic croque monsieur was well executed. The croquettes were good. Tea and coffee was good too. So if we are in the area we will definitely go there again.

Chilly atmosphere. Operation takes a very long time and there is no structure or guidance at all. The food was so disappointing. Ordered carpaccio salad and it was so disappointing and it was so little. The bread was old and dried out. Went into the restaurant hungry and walked out of the restaurant hungry. The comment from the staff was; I'll pass it on for next time. Very nice place with good space. The service was excellent, polite, helpful and willing to help us with our choices. Good wine and beer list. The dishes are well seasoned and delicious. I recommend.

Have been before and had a great experience. However, today the opposite happened. We wanted to sit at a table inside, which was still dirty from the previous guests. Asked at the bar if a cloth could be wiped over it. Received a very curt answer, almost biting: 'We are very busy. You can sit somewhere else.' Then looks are thrown: very unpleasant! Then someone comes to clean the table with a thunderous face and couldn't say a nice word. After this we decided to spend our business with the neighbors. Busyness is understandable, but the hospitality could really be a lot better. In short: if you want to be received as a guest, DO NOT sit at this café.

Good evening, we were here this afternoon, the food was cold and the lettuce had aphids in it, the bread was not fresh and there was a hair on the croquette sandwich. I also thought the hamburger was certainly not worth €14.95, it was not very cold and not really. tasty

We regularly visit Batavia city and this was the 2nd time we sat outside...the following: You have to shout or hold your arm up to place the order. They stand around chatting among themselves and hardly come. Tables are dirty, I asked would you clean the table??? Oh yes!!! Made it wet 🙈 The paving of the terrace is more than dirty... Chairs and the sofa have a lot of bird droppings on them. Customer friendliness from afar. Never come there again.. Today July 30, 2024

The weather was nice, so we sat outside on the terrace. Do you think even 1 waiter came by to take the order? There were 4 waiters and three of the four were hanging around the bar doing nothing. Logically it takes a long time. When the waiters are busy, I want to keep quiet. But sitting around and doing nothing while customers are waiting is not okay. We left again.

The service wasn't great. Chaotic and it took a very long time before the drinks were served and the 2nd order (food) was taken. We had to ask ourselves whether the 2nd order could be taken. The food was ok. Had chicken satay with fries. It came with atjar with lettuce. The atjar was a bit dry and the lettuce without any dressing or something like that. We all left them behind.

STAY AWAY! Where to start. Dramatic? Horrible? Bizarre? Gross and dirty? You enter. Floor so dirty that a family of rats could live on it for 100 years. Dirty stains in the chair and upholstery. Tables are not taken away. Not even when you sit down. Staff doesn't look nice. Super alternative clothing style. Uncared for, clothes not ironed and not smelling fresh. (And that for a fashion city) (There were at least 2 very good ones that really had experience and looked neat) At first glance I thought that this was a kind of lunchroom where people who were behind had a place to work. This may sound unfriendly. It's not meant that way. The people who work here, with the exception of 2 people, are of a dramatically low level that it is impossible to describe. Ordered coffee and food. I drank the coffee and canceled dinner. As the area was too dirty to be. 1 of the 2 people handled this very neatly. This wasn't the first time they had heard of something like this either. In fact, she wasn't even surprised. She did find it very annoying. Naturally, to confirm my suspicions, I looked at the reviews, and unfortunately my suspicions were immediately confirmed. People stay away from here. It's been a huge mess for 3+ years. A report has also been made to the NVWA....

There were a lot of staff walking around who did nothing, while we were put at a dirty table that was not cleared and we waited for 20 minutes while 3 tables after us were already being helped. So we left. It wasn't busy, but that had a reason.

Drinks were served very quickly. The cappuccino was delicious. But we also wanted to eat. The waitress did not come to us for a long time, then she brought the menus and everything. You didn't seem to know. We waited at least 30 minutes and then we didn't wait at all. We left. I won't go there again.

It took a very long time before someone came with the menus, then we had to wait 10 minutes to order, then we had to wait 20 minutes for drinks, the latte was wrong, we had to wait 20 minutes for the latte to arrive. While everyone was already ready... This is really bad, and it's not even busy.

We took tomato soup, eggs Benedict and veggie spaghetti bolognese - all tasted delicious! Fast and pleasant service. Totally recommend.

Wat een onwijs leuke tent, hip toegankelijk voor ieder en heerlijk eten en drinken, vers, smaakvol en heerlijke porties zeker een aanrader om heen te gaan. Zeer Vriendelijk personeel !

Vandaag geluncht met mijn dochter bij Fashion Café in Bataviastad. Kregen de Lunchkaart. Schrok eerst wel van de prijzen maar achteraf gezien was het wel de moeite waard. Eten was zeker goed. Zaten goed vol toen we weer vertrokken. Koffie en thee waren ook prima. Mocht je naar Batavia gaan, kun je daar zeker een hapje doen of een koffie en gebak halen.

Alleen erg trage service mbt eten, drinken is wel wat vlugger. Ik moet wel zeggen dat de trage eten levering voor corona niet was!

Restaurant in Bataviastad met kleine porties, hoge prijzen en ongemotiveerd personeel. Zo jammer. Het is wel gezellig ingericht en zou zo veel leuker kunnen zijn.

Die Speisen sind sehr schön angerichtet und lecker .

Personeel was echt zeer aardig, eten was gewoon wat je wil maar niks extras ofzo en een zeer leuke sfeer.

Lekker eten en een hele goede service. Erg mooie locatie met mooi uitzicht op bataviastad.

Heerlijk kopje koffie met lekkers. Leuke en lekkere pitstop na een paar uurtjes shoppen.

Plakkerige tafels, vogels in het caffee, 1 persoon kreeg het eten 15 min eerder dan de ander, dat hebben ze opgelost door ons extra eten gegeven.personeel is leuk. De friet was raar en niet lekker
