Feestcafé The Rits Hengelo in Wijk 00 Binnenstad

My friends and I always had a good time here, but when I look at the security staff, I honestly don't understand why they haven't lost their jobs yet. This is especially true because several people have a say in the matter. The security guards aren't doing their job very well. They confiscated an ID card, which they're legally not allowed to do; only the police, the military police, and (by decree) the mayor are. So they're definitely not part of this, but they're acting accordingly. After this, I gave it one last try yesterday. But I quickly decided I'm definitely not coming back. A friend wanted to say hello, so she walked over from outside through the exit to say hi to the security guards. Then she was going to leave. The security guards stepped in between us and sneakily told her to get in line. At that point, the "one in, one out" rule wasn't in. I went outside so she wouldn't be alone in the line. And when she tried to show her ID card, she was sent out because she was wearing a coat. She just had to say hi and leave, but security told me in a strange way that wasn't the intention. I tried to ask her to put her coat over the fence, because she was supposed to say hi and leave. I don't even think the security heard this; there was no sign they were listening. She was then called a "whiner" and "get lost." She and I remained calm in this situation and understand that wearing a coat might not be the intention, but just listen. Security: inappropriate, unfriendly, rules and regulations unclear to security, pure abuse of power, and they literally weren't given ears to hear, but to interrupt and make strange remarks.

The entire security system just needs a complete overhaul... It's truly awful. You're just standing next to problems, and you get them. No one's welcome here...

My resting place for the weekend

I was out and about in Hengelo on King's Day. Once I arrived at Cafe The Ritz, my friend was turned away at the door. He was discriminated against because he was wearing a GERMAN JACKET! What a bunch of racists!! It wasn't even busy at the time, but then you're turned away because you're German!! I understand that you can be turned away if you try to get into the club drunk or in a bad mood, but we were perfectly sober and respectable! It just goes to show that the doorman wasn't capable of being a doorman. I mean, that profession isn't for everyone! That this can still happen in 2024! RACISM! Ridiculous!

Great place. The drinks were delicious. We didn't order any food. The staff was polite and cheerful. We liked the music and there was a dance floor. In short, we had a blast there. I recommend playing the roulette; we got eight shots and it was off to a great start.

Mooi interieur en vriendelijke werknemers. Het was alleen echt belachelijk druk dus kon je niks doen. Ondanks de drukte toch nog steeds snel geholpen als je iets te drinken wou bestellen!

Gezellige club altijd druk en goeie muziek, vriendelijk personeel en maken er altijd een feestje van!

Altijd een top sfeer! Ik kom hier altijd met plezier. Ik heb zelfs een keer via de social media acties een fles Jagermeister gewonnen, en die heeft uiteraard heerlijk gesmaakt. Zeker een aanrader als je gaat stappen in Hengelo :)

Goeie tent in hengelo! De sfeer is altijd top en het personeel vriendelijk!!

Mixdrank aan de dure kant. Nette service maar veel te druk op zaterdagavonden, worden teveel mensen dan binnengelaten.

Gezelligste feestcafé van Twente!

Weinig ruimte binnen, de temperatuur was wel aangenaam. Bij de jassen bijna dood gedrukt, en toen ik dit aangaf bij de beveiliging werd ik weggewuifd, erg jammer.

Het lijkt me echt een super gezellige café te zijn . Zweer lijkt me ook gezellig bar in het midden buiten terras ik zou het als gast een 7.5 geven

Leuk en sfeervol feestcafé met leuk personeel. Daarbij ook nog eens een shotje kaart met 200 shotjes

Erg gezellige kroeg en een fantastische plek om shotjes te doen! Happa lappa!

In het hart van Hengelo een geweldige uitgaansgelegenheid. Geweldig en zeer vrolijk personeel. Als je een feestje wilt vieren en je houdt van vele soorten stylen muziek, dan ben je hier op je plek.

Geweldige plek, leuke muziek, lekker rustig en een fijne bediening de hele avond lang. Aanrader om ff lekker uit te gaan!
