rude staff they sent me away without explanation

Bad service!!!!! The owner is inflexible towards... A customer who had been coming for 30 years was having problems with his debit card!!!! The chip wasn't working. I couldn't transfer money online. And even getting a receipt so I could pay next time wasn't possible!!!! That makes you a bad host, or in other words, a... So this was the last time I went here; it usually wasn't that pleasant lately!!!! There are (much) better places in Amsterdam!!!!!!! P.S. Greetings and thanks to all the staff I had the pleasure of meeting.

The staff here was AMAZING!!! We went during a Euro Championship playoff game and the staff was amazing with keeping the drinks flowing. I was impressed by their service during the busy time.

We were here to have some beers. Nice place on the terrace although we found some rowdy people in the bar next door. But nothing important.

I have a great tip for anyone who wants to have a fun time in Amsterdam - visit this bar near the Red Light District! We enjoyed fantastic drinks here and the bartender was so friendly and professional, he really had everything under control. Well, almost everything... His sense of humor could use some fine tuning, as he almost tried to sell us more wine than we could drink. But hey, who complains about a generous wine supplier? Overall we were really happy with our visit. The atmosphere was lively and unique, and the drinks were delicious. We felt like we landed in a mix between a cozy bar and a comedy club. Maybe they should put the bartender on stage - he could tell his jokes while mixing drinks! So if you're looking for a bar that offers good drinks and friendly staff then this is definitely the place. Just be careful not to drink too much wine - it might be difficult to find your way home! The atmosphere was great! The waiters were all super nice (the barman even offered us shots) and spoke in English. The DJ (we went there on a Thursday) was the best thing about our night, he was extra nice and accepted to play french songs because we were French <333. Everything was great overall, we really enjoyed our night there. (rpz les français)

Ik kom al meerdere decennia bij dit druk bezochte feestcafe en er is altijd voldoende ruimte om binnen of buiten te zitten en bedient te worden door nette vlotte jongeren met een gemeende lach en babbel! De afterparties zijn helemaal top.

Feestcafé Woodys is een plek waar ik al sinds jaar en dag kom en het verveeld nooit! Het personeel is altijd uiterst gezellig, of het nu op vrijdagavond of zondagmiddag is: er is altijd wat te lachen. Je kan er prima op het terras zitten en ook voor een feestje ben je er op het juiste adres! (Foto is niet de allerbeste, maar was de enige die ik zo snel kon vinden)

We went there by accident and it was the best decision! pretty good beer and wine for the happy hours (€2,50 for glass of wine or small beer from 2pm to 10pm) and absolutely awesome girl taking care of us, Renate. Definetely too loud inside, but outside tables with warmers + great hospitality makes this place probably the best near the Rembrandtsplein.

We are coming from France, and we are very supprised about this place. Very Nice and Kind staff. On cold period staff taked really care of us. Ask often how we are and if we need something more. Prix correct, j’ai juste bu un coup en vitesse avec des amis, en fin d’aprèm donc ambiance plutôt calme. Les serveurs ont l’air de ne pas être très à l’aise avec l’anglais !
