Reasonable place for a drink, prices were not bad too.

The toilet attendant was super rude. The fact that you have to pay at all just to use the toilet, after paying fine for a drink, is nonsense, and especially when you are treated badly after having to pay for the toilet as well.

I went with my friends to watch a worldcup match and we had to be early to be able to find a place to sit, we arrive around 19.00 and we all order a drink but we of course don’t want to start ordering a lot before the match, the servers were very rude and they said that if we don’t order something quick (while we already had drinks and were drinking them) that they were going to have to kick us out. Which I don’t understand because everyone else also weren’t ordering as much because the match hasn’t started. They were very rude and for a whole hour they kept only circling to us to see if we are drinking our drinks. It was very uncomfortable and we couldn’t watch the match in peace. The security was also very rude, I understand it’s busy in these times and you’re not allowed to stand but when someone was saying hi to me the security and some random costumer were making like a kicking movement behind the friend that was saying hi AND leaving. I found that very rude, and the security was encouraging it and doing the same motion instead of just being equal to everyone.

The overweight bald security guard kicked me and my friend out of the bar for absolutely no good reason, we were speaking completely reasonably and nice and I swear to god we did after he complained we couldn't stand in a certain area or sit on a bench it seemed he was picking on us seeing as my friend is black I believe this man was acting in a racist manor as he didn't have a good reason to make us leave apart from apparently having 'no respect' even though we spoke with manors. This is completely unacceptable and unreasonable and have been left with a bad feeling from that place

Honestly so bad don’t come here. I came with a friend as part of our last evening out and the staff especially a short bald chubby old man who kept making mirco aggressions towards me. We walked into the bar and got a drink, tried to sit outside in the seating area to drink it he comes up to us and says u can’t drink outside however everyone else was sat with a drink but still went inside. The same man came up to us and said we can’t sit down there and then when we asked why he just said leave. It went from A to Z so fast and it’s because the establishment is racist and the man they hired was racist towards me. I tried to get a tissue and he began shoving and pushing me out for no good reason. Don’t come here.

the security guard was so disrespectful. i am from australia and have never experienced ever getting pushed or shoved out of a place after asking if they have a toilet. i got pushed out for asking if they had a toilet. it is not okay, a simple no would’ve worked wonders, never going there AGAIN. reporting to police.

The service horrible, you could not stay if you didn’t pay for something every half an hour. We paid 120€ and they kept asking us to pay more or otherwise we would’ve been kicked out. Worst experience ever.

I was treated in a discriminatory and intimidating way by security while I was with my grandmother. They refused us entry to the bar for no reason.

I love Woody’s a fantastic place for a beer and a conversation, amazing locals that will teach you about the Dutch culture. I have life long friends that I met here.

Terrible service!!!!! The owner is inflexible towards A customer who had been coming for 30 years and had problems with his bank card!!!! The chip card didn't work Transferring money online was impossible And making a receipt once so I could pay next time wasn't possible either!!!! That makes you a bad host, or in other words, a .... So this was the last time I've been here; it usually wasn't that pleasant lately anyway!!!! There are (many) better places in Amsterdam!!!!!!! P.S. The staff here was AMAZING!!! We went during a Euro Championship playoff game and the staff was amazing with keeping the drinks flowing. I was impressed by their service during the busy time.

We were here to have some beers. Nice place on the terrace although we found some rowdy people in the bar next door. But nothing important.

I have a great tip for anyone who wants to have a fun time in Amsterdam - visit this bar near the Red Light District! We enjoyed fantastic drinks here and the bartender was so friendly and professional, he really had everything under control. Well, almost everything... His sense of humor could use some fine tuning, as he almost tried to sell us more wine than we could drink. But hey, who complains about a generous wine supplier? Overall we were really happy with our visit. The atmosphere was lively and unique, and the drinks were delicious. We felt like we landed in a mix between a cozy bar and a comedy club. Maybe they should put the bartender on stage - he could tell his jokes while mixing drinks! So if you're looking for a bar that offers good drinks and friendly staff then this is definitely the place. Just be careful not to drink too much wine - it might be difficult to find your way home! The atmosphere was great! The waiters were all super nice (the barman even offered us shots) and spoke in English. The DJ (we went there on a Thursday) was the best thing about our night, he was extra nice and accepted to play french songs because we were French <333. Everything was great overall, we really enjoyed our night there. (rpz les français)

Ik kom al meerdere decennia bij dit druk bezochte feestcafe en er is altijd voldoende ruimte om binnen of buiten te zitten en bedient te worden door nette vlotte jongeren met een gemeende lach en babbel! De afterparties zijn helemaal top.

Feestcafé Woodys is een plek waar ik al sinds jaar en dag kom en het verveeld nooit! Het personeel is altijd uiterst gezellig, of het nu op vrijdagavond of zondagmiddag is: er is altijd wat te lachen. Je kan er prima op het terras zitten en ook voor een feestje ben je er op het juiste adres! (Foto is niet de allerbeste, maar was de enige die ik zo snel kon vinden)

We went there by accident and it was the best decision! pretty good beer and wine for the happy hours (€2,50 for glass of wine or small beer from 2pm to 10pm) and absolutely awesome girl taking care of us, Renate. Definetely too loud inside, but outside tables with warmers + great hospitality makes this place probably the best near the Rembrandtsplein.

Prix correct, j’ai juste bu un coup en vitesse avec des amis, en fin d’aprèm donc ambiance plutôt calme. Les serveurs ont l’air de ne pas être très à l’aise avec l’anglais !
