Delicious ice cream and coffee and good service

Particularly hospitable service… I hadn't even finished my ice cream yet, but apparently it was already time to take it away. Apparently, asking if I was finished wasn't necessary. After that, the clear impression was also given that I was allowed to leave as soon as possible. Very friendly indeed. And as if that wasn't enough, the ice cream itself wasn't exactly great either: far too watery and not creamy at all. All in all, a pretty disappointing experience. Definitely not a place I will return to.

Unfortunately, my visit to this ice cream shop was very disappointing. From the moment I walked in, I did not feel welcome. The staff looked sour, barely made eye contact, and came across as uninterested. There was no sign of a friendly greeting or a smile. What struck me most was the difference in treatment. While I was served in a distant and curt manner, I saw that a white man was greeted kindly, engaged in conversation, and served with a smile. That made me feel very uncomfortable. I cannot say with certainty why this difference existed, but as a customer, you experience such unequal treatment as very unpleasant. Every customer deserves the same friendliness, attention, and respect, regardless of background or appearance. Unfortunately, I did not feel that this was the case here. Customer friendliness costs nothing and should be the foundation of every hospitality business. Because of this experience, I will not be returning here, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this establishment. I hope the staff learns to treat every customer in the same respectful and hospitable manner.

The ice cream was very watery and quite disappointing. Additionally, the staff was unfriendly and very rude. They seemed to have absolutely no desire to help customers. For me, this was the first and immediately the last time.

They have real quality ice cream here. You taste the difference immediately; it is flavorful and has deeper flavors. I went to another ice cream parlor a week later, and you really don't want to go back there. In other words, I will definitely be coming back here more often. Update Jun 2026: Unfortunately, I have been here several times recently; the quality has really dropped compared to the times we used to visit. The taste is nothing anymore and it is watery; it has already melted before you take a step outside the door, and it wasn't even warm....

I don't know if those people were having an off day because the tax authorities had some bad news, but man, these people were so unfriendly to our children. We paid €30 for ice cream and coffee here, but our children (ages 6 to 13) weren't even allowed to laugh at the tables outside. When one of the children went to wash her hands in the restroom, she was yelled at: 'Make sure you turn off the light, okay!' The one star they deserve is only for the high-quality, tasty ice cream. Unfortunately, I will never come here again.

The ice cream is watery and tasteless, but that's the least of the problems. Today, the saleswoman openly made racist remarks, claiming that "they only speak English these days and don't understand Dutch"—which gave her the freedom to spew her insults and nonsense unfiltered. When I pointed out that I do speak Dutch, there was no apology or shame whatsoever. Disgusting, unprofessional, and narrow-minded. If I could give zero stars, I would have immediately. Absolutely never again. I hope you close your doors for good—as soon as possible.

I guess you can consider whether to replace the cone, the nuts on it seems came from the disco ages, anyway, it’s good old days thought..

Smooth soft ice cream but tasty for once.

Delicious ice cream! I think it's a bit excessive that you have to pay extra for a small bowl with a spoon. I'm gluten intolerant and therefore have no choice... Then you should also offer gluten-free cones.

The worst customer service imaginable at the ice cream shop. They wouldn’t even let a little girl have a taste. Had a "get out of my store" kind of attitude. Why would anyone buy ice cream from a place like this?

I've been coming here since I was little. I remember that I once came here with a friend of mine (we were very young at the time) and we only had enough money for an ice cream. Of course we would share, but the owner then brought me an ice cream. That's one of the sweetest things anyone had done for me. The service is great and the ice cream is super tasty! Highly recommended ♡

Daniëlla runs a beautiful ice cream parlor with artisanal homemade Italian ice cream. Really delicious! My favorites are mango, melon, pistaccio, stracciatella and lemon. Tip: also try the iced coffee; that's delicious!

Zonder twijfel het lekkerste en smeuigste schepijs van eindhoven en omstreken (vind ik). Als ik zin heb in een echt lekker ijsje of coupe rij ik er graag een stuk voor om. Bediening is bovendien altijd super vriendelijk.

Summer time is ice cream time and therefore I went out to get ice cream. Sound logic to me, and for the ice cream parlor because they were opened and could sell me the pralinone scoop on a cone. Good taste and crunchy because of the almond pieces inside.

Ik denk dat inmiddels de kleinkinderen de zaak hebben overgenomen, zolang bestaat ie al. Lekkerder Italiaans ijs is in de verre omtrek niet te krijgen! Dagvers, groot assortiment, ook originele smaken. En flinke bollen! Ik fiets ervoor om...

Super lekker ijs. Ik ben er als lactose- en koezuivelintolerant persoon ook blij mee dat ze goed aangeven waar geen melk inzit. Het rode sinaasappel ijs is echt lekker.

Casi nunca puedo resistirme a conseguir una taza o un cono de helado cuando paso por este adorable palacio de helados.

Daniella heeft het ijs maken van haar vader geleerd en samen met haar moeder en het team, zorgen ze ieder jaar weer voor de nodige calorie volle dagen. Wij zijn redelijk verslaafd aan ijs, maar alle ijssalons die we proberen buiten Firenze, vallen altijd tegen. De heerlijke smaken en het zachte gevoel, maken het tot een echte smaaksensatie. Prijs is marktconform en locatie makkelijk te bereiken en parkeren op het plein nog gratis. In de buurt, zeker proberen en je bent verkocht. Tot snel.

Firenze.dat is een oud begrip in Eindhoven deze ijsboer bestaat volgens mij al zo'n 30 á 40 jaar waarvan alle afstamelingen met ijssalons in en om Eindhoven wel enigszinds familie is Waar het traditionele recept van ijs maken niet verloren is gegaan, heerlijk schepijs in diverse smaken ook de vitrines zijn een lust voor het oog

hier heb je echt Italiaans ijs wat altijd lekker smaakt de bediening is vriendelijk je kunt er binnen zitten en er zijn twee tafeltjes buiten en een paar stoeltjes

Het ijs is ok, lekker maar niet speciaal. Helaas is de bediening erg chagrijnig, kortaf en zit maar een beetje verveeld voor zich uit te kijken. Maakt zich vooral druk om vingerafdrukken op de vitrines van enthousiaste kinderen... en is zichtbaar opgelucht als de kinderen weer vertrekken. Als je niet met kinderen wil werken kun je beter ergens anders gaan werken. Binnen zitten is taboe want alleen voor coupes / koffie. Nogal achterhaald concept, niet? Zelfde geldt voor het niet kunnen pinnen, maar dan wordt het misschien financieel lastiger om met de hele familie elk najaar in Italie te overwinteren...?
