Had some tasty kibbeling on the terrace under the parasols (so luckily didn't see any seagulls) Separate kibbeling and separate portion of fries, cheaper than the combo and enough for me

Tasty, fast, but expensive, I really liked the fresh fish, the environment could be improved around the tables outside... 👍👌😉

We ate delicious plates with cod, shrimp skewers, and breaded mussels. I sometimes struggle with eating too much fatty food, but I had no trouble with this. The taste was good, and the atmosphere inside and out was very cozy, partly because there was a sort of food festival going on in the square. We were politely warned about seagulls, so we sat inside by the sliding doors. We had a delicious meal.

Good food, not exactly cheap, but the value for money is right. A self-service snack bar with plenty of seating both inside and out. The kibbeling was delicious, and so was the bread and croquettes.

On vacation, kibbeling at Fisby is a must. Order at the counter and pick up your order after activating the buzzer. Beware of seagulls and their black companions! They lurk above the entrance, and if you carry your tray too far away, it's a swoop in! Either the whole tray will fall, or they'll snatch a few pieces. It's just so delicious!

Really good fish, deliciously seasoned too. Definitely one of the best fish and chips we've ever had. Highly recommended. But if you're not getting it to go, watch out for the cheeky, thieving seagulls ;)) We saw more than one person whose fish was almost stolen right off their table by the seagulls.

I was just attacked by a seagull. As a result, a few pieces of battered fish fell to the ground. I received a completely new meal super fast.

We had fish sandwiches and fried fish with fries. Mmm, simply delicious, and the fries were just the way I like them. We'll be back.

Beware 👀 Seagulls attack the tray as you leave and steal the kibbeling and fries. 😱 Eating inside is safer. 🤣 These are the best kibbeling ever!!! Highly recommended... 🤤😋

Very tasty... Good value for money... I will eat there again.

It was quite crowded during our visit, but the staff handled it well. My kibbeling and fries were okay to good, nothing special but not really bad either, but for me, the kibbeling in particular could have been better.

The food is very good. It's more or less self-service with a timer. But there's a staff shortage everywhere. We ate there twice and were very satisfied.

We ate kibbeling here twice during our vacation. Very tasty, crispy, and well-seasoned. The fries were good too. The service was okay for a fast-food restaurant. We would come again.

We had lunch at Fishy's. The kibbeling (battered and fried fish) is highly recommended. The fish is fresh and cooked to be very moist. Prices are typical for the area.

What can I say? Yes, it's not a super fancy restaurant! But I look forward to eating here at least twice a year, and when the weather's great, I enjoy eating on the terrace in the sunshine. They offer several kinds of fish, prawns, etc., all very fresh and at a fair price! Beer is served in bottles, and other drinks are in cans. My plaice, three fillets, fries, and side salad were more than good. The price was €18! All you need to bring is an appetite and a love of good food, and you've come to the right place!

It's incredibly delicious and even people who don't usually eat fish will enjoy it. You absolutely have to go there at least once on vacation. Quick and fresh preparation. The tables are clean.

Sorry, but I felt like I'd walked into a tourist trap today. I wanted a delicious fish sandwich and ordered one with mackerel. What I got was a dry little roll without any sauce or sides, containing three dry mackerel and a bit of salad, all for €9. No, sorry, I'm not falling for that again.

Great food, nice atmosphere, and fast service. It's just a shame there are no changing facilities for children; I had to change my child on the floor by the toilets 😅 Otherwise, we love coming here!

We had 4 platters...for 60 euros. I mean, if you're eating by the sea, you expect to get "fresh" fish. And not frozen stuff! My shoe soles also got stuck in the bottom of the dish. In short, not recommended!

We had squid rings and kibbeling. Both were very greasy and lacked flavor. The fries were very hard, as if they had already been fried three times. And that for a price of almost 60 euros.

We wanted to grab a quick bite and were very surprised by how delicious everything was. We had kibbeling (battered and fried fish) as a set meal and plaice fillet. The portions were huge. We thought about €18 for plaice fillet would be okay, but we weren't expecting three plaice fillets with fries, salad, and two sauces. Highly recommended! We were also allowed to bring our dog in, which was great for us; otherwise, we would have taken everything to go.

We had fish and chips for three people. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The portions were very generous, and we paid less than €25, including drinks. Excellent food with great value for money. We highly recommend it! We'd gladly come back again.

Never had better kibbelings! By far the best – even better than the famous fish stall behind Albert Heijn, which is only open on Wednesdays. The cheese assufflé was also simply fantastic, the best we've ever had. Matjes herring, croquettes, salad… all absolutely delicious!

Fast food joint in the heart of Callantsoog. The kibbeling and fries are really good and always fresh. In addition to indoor seating, there's also the option of sitting outside. When you order, you'll receive a pager that signals when your food is ready. There's no table service.

We went to the restaurant twice this year because we had good experiences there last year. But the quality has gotten so bad; we got fries that were completely hard and very greasy (old grease). Kibbelings were cold. The price board shows kibbelings available individually or as a set meal with different weights. However, all portions are served without being weighed, so that for a normal portion we actually served more than for a set meal (i.e. serving according to feel). The display also looked very expansive. When we mentioned it, we were very rudely turned away by a German worker. This was our last time there. So anyone who really knows something about fish will recognize it straight away. It's a shame that they're letting up like this; it's probably based on the motto: enough people come who accept it and the sales are okay.

Fries made from old grease, burnt and bone-hard. The kibbeling wasn't tasty and probably also fried in old grease. The entire meal was cold. I won't be ordering it again.

The food was excellent. The portion of kibbeling is generous. The seasoning is different than usual, but it tastes good. The fries are a real 10+. It's also nice that the fries and other snacks are made separately from the fish. The fries and other snacks (like the frikandel) don't taste fishy at all.

This is where you'll find what's probably the most elegant haringsbroodje. With onions and cucumber, plus a bit of delicious salad. It's not exactly cheap, but it's worth it!

But please take the warning sign about the seagulls seriously. One of my herring sandwiches was devoured in two seconds—by a seagull 😂😂

We had two portions of kibbeling. Nicely seasoned, but the fish itself was disappointing. They were very thin, more crust than fish. A good kibbeling contains large chunks of tender fish, and this certainly wasn't. The portion size was otherwise fine.

A delicious fast-food restaurant very centrally located in the town center and close to the beach. There's a wide selection of delicious dishes. From fish sandwiches to snacks to full menus, there's something for every price range. You can eat inside or outside, although there's a clear warning about seagulls outside. Orders are placed inside at the counter. After ordering, you receive an electronic pager that prompts you to pick up your food shortly afterward. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable for fish dishes. We were definitely full every time.

Super delicious Dutch fish dishes – fresh, well-seasoned, and authentic! The fries were also delicious. The central location is perfect, ideal for a break from a stroll through the city. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and you immediately feel at home. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy good fish in a relaxed atmosphere!

“Fresh” plaice fillets in the display case are taken by the employee, who has just touched money with his hands, without gloves or washing his hands. There are flies on the “fresh” fish in the display case. All in all, an unhygienic event. Not recommended!

It's an absolute must to eat kibbeling with fries here at least once or twice per stay. Large portions, freshly prepared, and delicious. You can either eat in or (depending on where you live) takeaway.

Haring besteld om mee te nemen, niemand in het restaurant aanwezig , 1 tafel buiten bezet. 7 medewerkers achter de balie, buzzer gekregen, na 20 min gevraagd waar de bestelling bleef. Nog ff geduld komt er zo aan. 5 min later buzzer nooit afgegaan.na ong 1/2 uur de bestelling gereed. Haring was super, maar het wachten veel te lang.

A lovely fish and chips fast-food joint. Nicely decorated, fresh fish from rolls to snacks to set meals, with something for every price range, to go, to take away, or to eat in, inside or outside. Outside, however, you're warned about the seagulls and birds, which are very cheeky and just wait for a bite to come by. The staff is friendly, and there's even a member of staff there who speaks very good German. We had the plaice menu, kibbeling snack, North Sea crab roll to go, and on another day, herring roll and salmon roll, all very tasty and fresh.

The fresh fish you get here is the best you can eat. We always go here several times during our vacation. And we have been doing this since we were young. Always friendly staff and there is a good atmosphere.
