Stopping by Maastricht and came across this lovely coffee. Honestly some of the best coffee Ive ever had. The pour over, espresso, and coldbrew were unbelievably tasty (and realllllly strong).

We stopped here during our bike ride through Maastricht and it was the perfect break. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the warm atmosphere. The place has a cozy vibe, perfect for relaxing before hitting the road again. Coffee and drinks were excellent — full of flavor and nicely prepared. Definitely worth a visit if you’re cycling through the area!

What a wonderful café! I happened to walk by and was very impressed! Great pastries and a variety of coffee specialties, excellent service, very friendly. A café that offers opportunities to work there, as well as a stopover when you’re cycling, and a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy your coffee. I really enjoyed being here! I’ll definitely come back.

Cute little shop with lots of bike gadgets and the option to get some repairs. Very friendly help with reattaching my handlebars. Very appealing, a must-visit for bike enthusiasts.

A super cool shop, super delicious coffee, and really friendly guys behind the counter with whom you can really chat about coffee. Not just for cycling enthusiasts! A definite recommendation for anyone in the city. We'll definitely be back when we're back in Maastricht!

The matcha has a great quality, the Ambiency was nice and calm.

If cycling is your hobby, this is a must-visit. You can park your bike inside, so you don't have to lock it on the street with a chain lock or anything.

If you're passing through Maastricht by bike, this is a must stop. I turned up covered in mud from the ride, standing outside in the pouring rain and wondering where I was going to safely leave my bike since all the stands were full. Before I could even go to find a lampost etc, the owner came to the door and ushered me in and telling me to bring my filthy bike inside with me to the stands next to their workshop. His colleague then met me with a towel and let me know that anything I needed for my trip I should just ask. It was such a nice surprise to find that this place was lively and it was a relief to have shelter from the rain. The cake I had was fantastic, as was the smoothie and oat milk cortado. The service from those working behind the bar was also very friendly and helpful. They have a fantastic work station with plenty of plugs for laptops and the bicycle store (clothing and accessories mostly) has a really nice selection. I left feeling recharged and really well looked after when I thought all I was going to get was a coffee! I'll be back whenever I'm in Maastricht.

Incredible staff, the owners are extremely knowledgeable, they put their heart and soul into everything they provide. Best apple cake ever. I buy my beans here too and Brian will always tell you which bean to use for the best V60. My first stop in Maastricht every time.

A place specializing in coffees from some of Europe’s top roasters. It offers great quality at a fair price. If you’re into bikes and cycling culture, this is definitely your spot some of the bikes are even used for daily work. I ordered a flay pack pour over with three coffees from different origins and varieties. (V-60) The barista who served me was excellent friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be back. Also, don’t miss the delicious pastries made in-house. Vegan, Highly recommend the carrot cake.

Lovely place, excellent coffee, perfect service. They have a really nice space to seat and enjoy ur time, there is space for laptops too, they have a shop where u can buy cycling stuff, and u can also buy the coffee beans, they have a lot of variety.

Genuinely the best coffee I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced. I usually need to put a little bit of sugar in my coffee but my cappuccino was perfect, didn’t need anything. The cookie was delicious too!

Great place to relax, work and have a good long conversation. The shop is a blend of Professional Race Bicycles, gear and equipment for those things, excellent coffee machines for sale and a very cozy atmosphere blended in to a cafe where coffee is better than good and their cakes are excellent self made goodies which taste every time better somehow. it seems ))) like the owner is a racebike professional and i see there is a guy who fixes bicycles costing 10-15k. You have a race bike? You want it to be fixed on top level? Send them an email for an appointment and go have a carrot cake there while your bike is going through a pair of golden hands. Seriously. There should be a luthier like that to make my life complete.

The café is nestled in a very stylish bike shop. The coffee is extremely good, and they also offer pour-over coffee. We tried vegan brownies and cookies—very good! The brownies were a chocolate revelation 🤩

The cheesecake was excellent—well-balanced and not overly sweet. However, the milk of cappuccino was not integrated well and burnt. It was fine for a coffee place but not good for speciality coffee in the Netherlands. Service quality was inconsistent—some staff members were nice, but others came across as dismissive.

I highlight their coffees, from the best roasters in Europe. They really know how to select here. Smooth, full-bodied beans. If you order filter coffee, they have a batch, or they'll instantly prepare a drip coffee that can be sampled so you can try three quality coffees, roasts, and pastries. All made with love and care. I'll definitely be back! Looking for more places like this.. And it's pet-friendly, so you can come with your pet to enjoy delicious coffee and a warm atmosphere!

Coffee is great however the customer service is the exact opposite The staff doesn’t say hello, does not acknowledge people standing by the till, once they do, they seem totally disinterested.

When I am in Maasteicht, I always love coming here for a great flat white, cortado, croissant. Great quality food, uncomplicated, young people place with Smashing Pumpkins and Red Hot Chili Peppers music.

The best coffee I’ve had in NL. If you appreciate high quality, single origin, third wave, specialty coffee, this is THE place in Maastricht. There were probably 10 different beans to choose from for my drink, which is rare even for a shop dedicated to good coffee. The Bali pour over I had was perfect. The staff were super friendly. The wooden furniture and many plants were just my kind of vibe. I’m not a cyclist, but I quickly observed the communal nature of the bike shop / coffee shop combo; several people rode up on their bikes, popped in for an espresso, greeted by name, and then back on their way. It also helps that they are open earlier than just about everywhere else near the city center. I bought a bag of beans to take home, €14 for 250g, which is a good price. I’m happy to pay on the high end (€5.50) for a well made pour over when I visit the shop if it also means I can take beans to make at home for a good price.

I kinda entered late and yet they accepted to give us some of their amazing coffee. the atmosphere is lovely and the staff were lovelier. if you were in the town definitely try to stop by and ask for coffee with Columbia beans. you will never forget the taste ;)

My usual go to spot in Maastricht. The best coffee in town, Atmosphere is wonderful and cozy, perfect for studying. Service is welcoming, fast, efficient and extremely friendly. Prices are extremely reasonable. No matter if you live here and need a spot to study or are just visiting the city, I completely recommend.

I visited this café recently and had a mixed experience. When I tried to sit at an available table, I was informed that I couldn’t use it, even though I had seen other guests seated there just moments before. The coffee was okay, but nothing special, and the peanut butter cookie was hard and lacked flavor. Overall, I was disappointed with my visit. To the owners: I understand the laptop policy, but I was not seated in a laptop-free table, nor did I open my laptop. I was still asked to move, which felt unfair. As for the coffee and cookie, taste is personal, and I simply didn’t enjoy them. My review reflects my honest experience.

Great location, coffee and food are very good (great fan of peanut butter cookies here), staff is always friendly and they already fixed my bike few times, service was great.

Coffee varies greatly in quality. Today two mediocre espresso macchiatos. Judging by the responses to other reviews, this would not be possible due to the good beans and good machine. Tastes differ of course, but when the owner is in the shop the coffee is clearly better, so perhaps the baristas should be trained better? I also tap them better at home. (My frame of reference in the region is Constantin Café in Liège, clearly another level in my opinion)

This cafe offers a big variety of high quality drinks and desserts. We ordered a cappuccino, a double espresso and a cheesecake. The cheesecake was a weekend special and it was truly delicious and fresh. To order you go to the counter and after you pay you’re given a playing card and the staff later brings you your order(the service is really fast so you won’t have to wait). Perfect place for studying if you’re a student since the place is pretty big and there are a lot of tables and plugs to charge your laptop. Amazing interior that gives a cozy feeling.

We went last Saturday and got two sets of house specialty filter coffees for tasting. You get 3 different coffees per set for tasting so we got in total 6 different cups. The selection was excellent. All cups tasted great, but each had their own character which you could clearly distinguish. The staff was also super friendly as well in introducing the different coffees. Later on we also talked with the owner and got some great advice on coffee from him as well. All in all we had a lot of fun. 10/10 would come by again!

Fixed Gear is my favourite cafe in Maastricht! The drinks are great, staff is friendly, and I'm a BIG fan of the apple cake. I like the atmosphere, whether going with friends, reading a book, or coming in for a mid-ride cafe stop. Highly recommend!

Nice bike oriented coffee place. Cozy spot and many sittings to hang out with mates. However, the coffee was not it. Didn’t even finish my flat white. Do not expect to experience third wave specialty coffee standard.

The staff is really nice and the atmosphere is pleasant. Unfortunately the coffee and and sweet treats weren’t the best: not very tasty, very generic-tasting.

Super chill place, perfect to work in a quiet and intimate atmosphere. There are spacious tables for co-working and laptops are allowed for as long as you want. Waiters are super nice and warm. Top thing is that it’s not crowded at all, especially if you come early in the morning. Highly recommended if you want to get some work done.
