Flo’s Deli in De Weteringschans

Great experience at Flo's! The man and woman who were there today were so incredibly kind! Many restaurants could learn from them :) I had the Vegan BLT (6.5), the pastrami (8), the brisket (6), and the chocolate almond (7.5). The brisket, in particular, needs some TLC. It's very bland, and the mustard is so sharp it shoots right through your brain. The pastrami, on the other hand, was highly recommended, as was the chocolate almond. Both had excellent flavors. The bagels may be a bit smaller, but they're very compact and filling!

Great bagels. As a lactose-intolerant person I got BLT and brisket option which were nice, however I would only consider this place for breakfast mostly. The staff was super nice and the queue given the lunch time wasn’t long and I got my food early. However, I give it a 4/5 because even after 2 bagels I got hungry quite soon. But perhaps that’s just me not understanding Dutch lunch culture after a month here. :)

Haven’t had a good bagel sandwich in years because of toxic American wheat. So nice to safely eat locally sourced wheat/fresh bagels. Friendly staff, delicious, will definitely come back!

Absolute Gem! Wow what a cute little bagel place in a fabulous location🤩The cashier was a lovely American lady, and my order came out so quickly! I ordered The Jerry on a Jalapeño Cheddar Bagel and it was absolutely delicious. You can really taste how homemade and fresh all the ingredients are. The only criticism is that the cream cheese was very salty. But honestly I didn’t mind and enjoyed it thoroughly. A good bagel place. I ordered a flat white and a breakfast bagel with pastrami. The coffee was strong, quite potent. And the bagel was delicious. The pastrami was delicious, as was the egg; a good combination. I also bought six bagels to take home. The cafeteria is a bit small, and it is quite warm inside.

Best in town! Sandwiches are out of this world.

The bagel itself was fresh and delicious, and I really liked that there were different options for the bagel base — a nice touch. However, the hot brisket bagel was a bit disappointing. There were too many caramelized onions, overpowering the pastrami, which should’ve been the star of the sandwich. As for the bacon bagel, the seasoning was inconsistent — some bites were overly salty while others lacked salt entirely. It also felt like it needed a sauce to bring everything together; without it, the components didn’t quite blend. Service was friendly, which I appreciated. That said, it was quite difficult to find a table, and the layout of the dining area felt a bit cramped and not very well thought out.

The salmon bagel and coffee were both superb with really friendy staff. Unfortunately there were no tables available so I sat on the bench outside which was nice although there could've been a small table.

Tasty bagels and good coffee! We had the sabich (with eggplant) on an everything bagel—delicious and vegan. There are several vegan options, which is great. Price is also great: €13 for a bagel and an oat cappuccino. You can sit inside, there are four tables, so you have to be lucky during rush hour. Pick-up is therefore a good alternative.

Had a lovely delicious brunch here this morning! Super good chewy bagels that remind me of home and yummy toppings. Ordered the beefy breakfast and the bulgogi and both were good. Also got a cinnamon roll which was fresh out of the oven. Amazing kind staff <3

Absolutely the best! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food quality is top-notch. Everyone working there is amazing, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. I highly recommend it—hands down the best spot for brunch and breakfast. I’ve tried everything on the menu, and I can’t even pick a favorite because every dish is simply perfect!

My friends and I unanimously agreed—after just our first bite!—that these bagels were a new staple of ours. We each got very different sandwiches and each one was uniquely perfect. Of their special sandwiches, the Sabich was much loved, as well as the Jerry. We also tried their baked goods and were impressed with their browned butter caramel cookies and babka. Lovely people, great atmosphere, and located next to a wonderful park!

Best bagels I’ve had in Amsterdam. It’s a small space, but service is great and there’s a great ambiance if you’re here for a quick bite! We had the Newman (pastrami, sauerkraut and cheese with mustard) on a Salt & Garlic bagel, which is a great combo that tickles your tastebuds. Next to that we had the Brisket on an everything bagel. Good meat on a good bagel, what’s not to love? Perfect place to stop by after you’ve bought some vinyl at Concerto a few doors down.

I am so suprised this place overall score isnt just 5 stars! We were like royals here! So friendly, such good food and lovely calm music! Even tho the weekend special was not there anymore, they made something simular to please us and it was great! Thanks for the cinnemon rols! ❤️

I get bagels almost every weekend here. I love their sesame and cheese bagel along with their jalapeño cream cheese (schmear). The service is quick, and the lady at the counter is always smiling and friendly.

BEWARE OF SELLOUT!!! Honestly some of the best bagels and bagel sandwiches in Amsterdam. However 3 out of the 5 times I’ve stopped in now, they’ve been completely sold out of bagels. I work nights. They don’t open early enough to stop on my way home from work and now more frequently than not, they’re sold out by the time that I can get there. I understand it’s a small place, they can only make so many, and business owners view this as a good thing. I’m gutted that more of their delicious food can’t be shared multiple hours before closing

Amazing bagels. My partner is Canadian and dearly misses good bagels in the Netherlands. He loved loved loved these. I bought the poppy seed and the everything bagel home, so we can freeze them.

I've been here three times now. Bagel with pastrami is very tasty, bagel with brisket a bit too dry but always way too sparsely filled for the money and then you have to look for something to go with it. For €9 to €10 this is simply too expensive. Friendly service and I don't recognize previous reviews about waiting too long. So I only go back in exceptional cases.

Great place with delicious bagels, I liked it a lot! I was happy to see enough vegetarian options.I cannot give them 5 stars only because they use disposable cups. It is so weird in 2023 when all progressive places try to avoid plastic and use regular tableware for multiple use. Please think more about environment and buy ceramic or glass cups.

my favorite bagel place in all Amsterdam, they are exactly like in NYC. Coming back from the states I always searched the same quality and here it is. Staff is so nice, upon getting bagels for lunch and stock my freezer, they gave me a free bagel! They have so much choice on the menu, my favorite ones are the breakfast bacon and jerry (salmon)!!

I'm a big bagel fan and I really enjoyed this place. I like going to Bagels and Beans for one specific bagel that I enjoy but I could see myself coming back here to try different kinds. I really liked the beef bulgogi and service was nice when I asked if I could have kimchi on the side. Dine-in area is small (like most places here) but cozy nonetheless. Menu is updated but you can still order ones from the old menu poster.

Got a bacon breakfast bagel and it was delicious, was prepared quickly and staff was very friendly. There wasn’t a lot of space inside to sit but I didn’t mind because my bagel was takeout.
