We went for lunch before visiting a museum and had a wonderful meal. The dishes were beautiful and varied, featuring aromatic herbs, spices, and legumes, all prepared in a very original way. The outdoor terrace is beautiful, like a secret garden.

Mediocre food with high prices. Food ingredients aren’t the freshest(straight from the packaging plastic bags, not even sure if they were properly washed). A bit understaffed and the glass they served me with was dirty (bread crumbs in it, didn’t notice until I was about to finish…) Overall, a cute place that I wouldn’t wanna return

Highly recommended - not just for vegans!

This is a great place for a delicious breakfast. Sweet and friendly service. Atmospherically decorated. There's seating both inside and outside. There's a terrace in the front and a small courtyard in the back. Delicious choices on the menu. Between 9 and 11, there's a breakfast deal for €16.50, including coffee, juice, and a breakfast dish. Apple and rhubarb crumble was delicious, and the next portion was generous. I found the yogurt a bit small, but that might be a personal preference. The chai latte was served nice and warm with a piece of chocolate cake. It was great that I could taste it right away. The cakes and cookies look delicious. You really should go back to try more.

A wonderful café with character. Delicious breakfast, truly great and friendly service. And if you can snag a seat in the back garden, it's a dream in the city. Numerous vegan and gluten-free options, and a great selection of drinks. Highly recommended.

It’s a little chaotic and claustrophobic inside and the staff seem a little spaced out. The tea was great, carrot pie dry and the fruits on the pancakes weren’t peeled, a little unhandy. I don’t fully get the high reviews to be honest. Maybe next time better.

Fantastic food in a living room atmosphere. We are fans of vegan cuisine and found both the range and the flavour of the dishes fantastic. The cosy atmosphere contributes to the feel-good effect and even if it takes a little longer for the order to arrive (almost everything is prepared right in front of your eyes), the friendliness of the service makes up for everything.

The restaurant is a must for anyone who eats vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free food. Great for people with celiac disease and the food is also very tasty! The staff put in a lot of effort and were very friendly. It was very worth it!

Surprisingly great cafe. We were lured in by the smell of freshly baked banana bread (very tasty!) and had lunch there. Everything fresh and delicious! You look into the open kitchen. Deduction for the service, they are super nice but you have to make yourself noticed.

Fantastic food, such variety, it was hard to decide what to choose! Our lunch was delicious, everything fresh and well seasoned. The staff was very nice too. The room was full but a nice energy and it was interesting to be able to see the kitchen. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in the Hague!

Yesterday for our son's birthday, a group of us had lunch at FOAM. In a word, fantastic. Friendly service and the lunch was prepared with care and tasted delicious. The portions are also ample. The apple crumble and the avacado sandwich in particular score a 10 in our opinion.

Food is great and the service is always very accommodating!

2 slices of bread, extra thin layer of miso spread, supermarket quality pre-cut mesclun salad from a bag, half avocado, smoked almonds snack bar quality/carrot apple ginger ( i ordered the bread to be extra toasted since i, explained, i dod not eat soft chewy bread and extra hot ginger in the juice ) i got instead the bread not event toasted once and the additional hot ginger was not even taken under consideration by the kitchen. For as cool as Foam is being marketed, i found a lack of attention in the preparation, but mostly a supermarket quality of ingredients. The soup was bland and lacked richness in flavor. The chocolate cookies were super nice. The acoustic is bad bad, the closeness of the guests to the open kitchen and the lack of hygienic attention ( see the waitresses that did not bother to attach their hair tidy, and that cooks and waiters all were touching the ingredients without having noticed once washing their hands) personally did not give an overall impression of HACCP food safety. Despite having booked a table for 3 with anticipation, our table had been mistakenly assigned to someone else who refused to move to another table. We were finally assigned a super small table where even 3 salad plates could not be properly served. There is plenty of staff moving around in such a small place and they all do their best to serve but given my experience today, there are areas in both the service and especially in the food preparation which require attention.

Finally I got the opportunity to visit a fully vegan breakfast & lunch restaurant/cafe: FOAM. I considered breaking my routine but ended up having my usual breakfast in cafes: avocado sandwich. The bread was wholegrain grilled pave with miso cream spread, wonderfully done, couldn't have asked for more for the bread or the spread! Mesclun salad was fresh and crunchy, smoked almonds were just wonderful and about avocado: I have to say that out of all the places I have visited this one had most avocado. I'm very happy about that. There was spices but no vegan mayo (or other sauce) on the sandwich, but honestly it didn't need it because the miso cream was enough. All the tastes worked well together - very well combined. As drink I had chai latte (comes automatically with oat milk) and a berry bomb smoothie (as a dessert) - both very good. There's cute little bottles with lids for sugar on the tables - less waste with no single use packaging sugar (a good environmental friendly example for other cafes too). The berry smoothie was exceptionally soft to the mouth - some leave the mouth with a sore feeling afterwards but I guess the banana in it made it easier to handle. A real treat! Overall I am impressed and happy with this place and fully recommend it especially to fellow vegans! 5/5

Always really good food (Avocado Sandwich with Tempe Bacon!!) and friendly service. Also low/fair prices for good products! Only thing is the loud noise inside when full. Some noise reducing material would be really nice and makes it more calm to sit.

Varied choices, even for a vegan with a gluten allergy. You can sit there very nicely, even in the garden and the kitchen is in the middle of the interior, so you can see how well everything is prepared!

I could eat here everyday! The meals are a trip around the world, inspired by European, Asian, Middle Eastern, Latin American cuisine... you should try everything. The staff is super friendly and also dog friendly. The place can get busy, but that's definitely a sign that the food is excellent.

Foam is a cozy vegan lunch spot with friendly service and surprising dishes. We tried the potato waffle with sauerkraut—an original twist on the classic AVG—with a delicious homemade kale-lemon salsa. The Mexican quesadilla was also very tasty. The menu offered typical vegan options, but slightly different, such as avocado toast with miso cream and almonds.

Such a lovely place in the center of The Hague! If you are looking for some plant-based food, look no further! Absolute gorgeous and tasteful dishes. Will definitely visit this place more often.

The food was ok, nothing special. The size of the portions was small. The girls serving were uninterested. They did not even bothered to wipe the filthy table before we sat neither did anyone come in one hour to check and see if wee needed anything. Floors were filthy and the ceiling above the table where we were sitting was leaking and nobody bothered to do anything about it so there was a muddle of unwiped water on the floor. Sadly it is one of the very few vegan places in The Hague so I guess I will come back but not because of anything of quality they have to offer.

Meh. This was disappointing. Hadn't been there in years, and it doesn't seem to be as good as it used to be. First of all, it is (still) super noisy inside. The acoustics are bad, so it is very noisy during lunch. It strikes me that after all these years nothing has been done about this. A real chicken coop. The service was difficult to reach. Blurred and not proactive. Just not quite 'there'. The chai latte was watery and tasteless. The soup lacked spice and was quite bland. The oat pancakes were dry and tough. Everything at FOAM felt as if the attention had waned. Shame!

The food was okay - I didn’t like my tempeh much - but except that the bowl was great, and my matcha wasn’t the best. Pro tip don’t add caramel to your matcha 🍵 also - the menu has changed from the one that you see here

This is such a sweet spot! The menu changes throughout the year, the staff is super kind and most importantly the food tastes really good. It’s all vegan and organic and the price quality ratio is good. They have an open kitchen so you can see your goodies being prepared. In summer you can also sit outside in the garden area. I loved the crumble, the granola was really tasty. And also the cowboy cookie fresh from the oven was delicious. Only point of improvement would be the chai latte. I found it more latte than chai, it could’ve been more spicy.

The food was very tasty and the service was top notch. There is vegan gluten-free food here and it was delicious. Service very friendly and accommodating. To be recommended without reservation.

As a family, we loved this Vegan cuisine that we recently discovered. tasty cuisine, excellent fresh juice (ginger, carrot, apple) Exquisite desserts. On the front or back terrace, don't hesitate, the street is not noisy (in August). Very good service, more discreet and efficient than cheerful :) Not open in the evening We were there at 3 p.m.

Would recommend 100% Super cute Café with backyard. We enjoyed our gluten free/vegan brunch outside. Everything tasted fresh and was decorated with care. I am not vegan and also not gluten free but I enjoyed ever last bit of it. My favourite was the fresh juice, tho 🤩

I really like this place, it is a bit pity that they only serve breakfast and lunch. It is an amazing place. Full-vegan menu, friendly staff, fast service, delicious choices, healthy food, cozy garden and seating area, reasonable prices. Also they provide catering and cooking workshops. Definitely worth to try ! Just to be honest, I only find the BLTA Sandwich a bit simple. But there are more and better things on their menu !

If you're vegetarian or vegan, it will one more great place for you. Nice staff, good food. Sometimes need to be reserved, especially on rainy days.

Very tasty food!! nice place to eat. One of my favorite restaurant. I returned last week with my 2 sons, the smoothies could be served in a bigger glass and the portion could be more generous for that price. Otherwise a peaceful place in den haag.

We had a late but very tasty breakfast here. What was unusual was the completely open kitchen, where we could see directly how our food was being prepared. On warm days, the cozy little terrace is certainly recommended. The staff were very friendly.

I loved their back terrace. The "They don't carrot about me" juice was yummy. The savory dishes had way too much salt. I got the avocado sandwich, which was not terribly good, but interesting. Husband got the gado gado bowl. My daughter got the oat pancakes, which were yummy.

I had an amazing time at FOAM! They welcomed me and my dog so nicely! The food was delicious, i had the pancakes with apple and the fruit was so tasty, its been ages that i had such amazing strawberries 😍 The place is very cozy, there is even a small beautiful outside space in the back, wich is really amazing. I will come back for sure.

This restaurant offers a delightful experience with its friendly and efficient staff who prepare food in the main area, so you have to walk past them to reach the inside and outer seating areas - the garden is a sun trap. The vegan food is fabulous.

If you are in Den Haag you need to visit this place. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the blueberry Crumble and a side soup with beans. Both of it was super fresh and packed with great flavors. The matcha was really good as well.

Today breakfast/lunch at Foam in The Hague. With 4 people we had the banana bread, avocado sandwich, BLTA and Italian Toasti. Very tasty and the feeling of healthy! The flavors were good, extensive, fresh and also vegan/vegetarian. Excellent and recommended for enthusiasts, but also for people on a non-vegetarian diet. So don't let that stop you. The service is good and friendly, in English, and the coffee is excellent. I can highly recommend this place. (Helpful, thumbs up or follow me on Google)

Don't lure people in with the word "Organic" on your storefront (the O in FOAM) when hardly anything on the menu is organic. Yes, the food, service and atmosphere is good but be honest, first and foremost.

Poor service - we ordered smth and they brought us completely different dish, they apologized but then we waited another half an hour, to get it cold. Not very tasty, sad and dry food, cooked with no love. Atmosphere of the place is very nice.

The first thing you’ll notice…everybody is very helpfull and full of smiles. And the same attention is given to the food and drinks. Very tasty!! Only remark would be that it’s quite noisy when it’s busy.

Visited FOAM for breakfast and it was absolutely amazing! The staff are so friendly, the cafe itself is really bright, cozy and relaxed. The food was outstanding, so much amazing flavour and would highly recommend a visit! I had the blackberry crumble and it was delicious! 🌿

The only downside was that there was a lot of noise due to banging cupboard doors, but otherwise really old-fashioned great! Visited again for the first time after a few years and enjoyed it immensely. On to the next one and I hope it's a bit faster. The food was already gone :-) so here's a picture of the pink cake with coffee :-)

My husband and I had a wonderful breakfast at Foam. I kid you not, my husband said it was the best coffee he had had in years! My flaguette sandwich was lovely and the ambience was great as well. Would happily recommend to others.

Food, service, and atmosphere all 5/5. I had the BLTA, which was topped with balsamic tossed greens and sprouts. Also a cup of the daily soup (curry lentil) and hot chocolate to drink. Everything was delicious. Staff were friendly, patient, and helpful. Definitely want to come again!

Very home style food and atmosphere! Menu is vegan with 10-12 dishes to choose that are good for breakfast or lunch. The soup of the day was very nice and also the pumpkin cooked in the oven.
