Super friendly staff and a cozy place! The drinks are delicious, and they have a varied vegan menu. Personally, I was disappointed with the food. Yesterday, I sent my plate back with feedback for the kitchen. I was disappointed that they didn't apologize or at least offer a drink as compensation. I'll keep coming back for the atmosphere, the staff, and the delicious drinks!

Extremely rude staff, ordered 3 lemoncelo shots at the bar, the bartender accidentally spilled two shots and made us pay again… my friend paid in cash, she hand over 50 euros and didn’t receive any change, bartender insisted that its the price of 3 shots, when we complained about it just said if we cant pay for our drinks we shouldn’t order them… Update*After seeing the owner’s sarcastic reply, I’m even more disappointed, feedback should be taken seriously, not mocked.

I'm not a resident of The Hague, but I can still remember times when there was service on the terrace. This applies to the entire square, by the way. Personally, I find the lack of service a real drawback when visiting a terrace. Hence, an average of 3 stars.

My boyfriend and I always enjoy coming here. The service is truly fantastic: friendly, fast, and they keep a close eye on everything. The food is amazing! We always go for the loaded fries and combine them with something else on the menu. We've tried almost everything now, and every dish is truly delicious. This is truly one of our favorite places. Highly recommended; you're guaranteed to leave happy!

A very well-located restaurant in a lively square. The servers are friendly, and the food is good and affordable. We tried the Pad Thai and the Curry, both of which were excellent.

I,ve ordered Creamy chicken en croute and instead of chicken.. textured soy or meat made on a printer!! I don’t recomand!!!!

Had a lovely meal on the terrace in a relaxed atmosphere, despite having to order at the bar, friendly staff walk around who keep the tables tidy and ask if everything is to your liking. Very cosy!

The service was friendly. You could sit comfortably both inside and outside. However, the food was very disappointing. The pita falafel was dry, sparsely topped and simply not tasty. My girlfriend had a brioche burger, which was also meager. Unfortunately.

We had an excellent meal here tonight at a beautiful location on the Grote Markt. Really sublime! We had the vegan 'loaded fries' with delicious plant-based döner. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Zeta is an absolute must! If we come to The Hague again, we already know where we will eat. Top!

Always good food and almost completely vegan! You have to order at the bar if you sit outside, but otherwise always good service! Staff is also friendly.

It's great that there is a restaurant on the Grote Markt where you can eat vegan. I can recommend the pad Thai.

I went to zeta on May 26 around 3pm ordered some drinks from a blonde lady and had to get 2.50 back but she didn't give anything back and continued with another customer which I found annoying

The food was amazing but they are clearly understaffed. There was only one server and one cook in the whole restaurant. I would come back again, but I hope they can hire more people to be able to get people’s food to them quicker.

I was at Zeta with my 2 vegan friends. We had different bites -fried- and drinks. Since then my stomach got really bad and hurting. It was painful all night and even next day I have an upset stomach. My friends told me a similar story. Very disappointed! Tasteless food something else but this is unacceptable. You have to provide at least bare minimum and I shouldn’t get sick after eating your food.

Delicious food and a nice menu. Very nice that everything is plant-based. The service in particular was excellent, the floor manager (young man) had a good overview of everything.

I like to sit here because of the plant-based offering, the coffee and the opportunity to sit and work quietly upstairs. It is often noisy downstairs and the music is often very loud. The biggest disadvantage is that you can only order at the bar and therefore often have to queue.

My food was really disappointing. Small portion and no taste. And I eat salt-free at home, which is amazing that it has no taste...

Eating under the watchful eye of a mouse, which passed by twice and apparently completely unhindered by the environment. Not that relaxing, nor a very nice idea. The snacks on the menu seemed nice at first glance, but upon closer inspection they were almost all fried, fine but nothing special.

Went there on a Wednessday. Just had a beer. A pint of Bud is €7.

Come here very often; for vegetarians and vegans (but actually for everyone!) a top place to eat and drink. The food is of excellent quality, there is a cozy atmosphere and the service is top notch. Keep up the good work!

Nice location on the Grote Markt. Large terrace with large parasols including heaters, where there is no service, you can order at the bar. Upon entering, there was 1 employee and a number of customers waiting to order. A second employee came from outside and helped us immediately. We ordered a gin tonic and a Moscow mule, first we were asked in which glass we wanted the cocktails and then the menu was taken to see what should be in it. Vague experience but the cocktails were okay.

Great options for plant-based and vegan food, including coffee with alternative milks. Plus they have vegan croissants in the morning!

Location: great, ambience: nothing special, food/drink: no idea, because: service incredibly slow. There were only two tables occupied and there was nothing going on outside, but I probably stood around at the counter for twenty minutes and was consistently ignored because the lady was overwhelmed with one (1!!!) order in front of me and took a second service Strictly not taking any orders and when I expressed my displeasure about it, I also received a rude response. Not recommended!! There are nicer and customer-oriented restaurants nearby where you can eat delicious food and receive friendly service.

My vegan kimchi chicken burger was delicious, the other food ordered was rather average. Would give more stars if there was better service. It really wasn’t busy at all, but it took a very very long time for everything. When we arrived, we waited at the front to say that we had a reservation. There were 3 people making drinks behind the bar who saw us, but for a very long time nobody even made eye contact or said “I’ll be with you soon”. It’s nice to even just be acknowledged. When our food was ready we saw it waiting by the kitchen for so long that even the kitchen staff were getting annoyed and ringing the bell constantly. We asked if we can take the food ourselves 🤣 but they wouldn’t let us. There were empty tables everywhere. I get it sometimes you don’t have enough people working but it only takes a smile or an apology to give customers a better experience :)

The fries were very small and too crispy/dry for my taste. Sort of like gritty fries, and that's really not what I'm looking for. The kimchi burger, on the other hand, was tasty. The staff do not take orders outside on the terrace tables, but they will bring them outside if you order them inside, which is not ideal. The atmosphere inside was okay, and the staff was nice.

Staff were apparently in a bad mood when we arrived and therefore made us very uncomfortable in our stay. We quietly moved a small table so we could sit together, resulting in angry/emotional comments that we were "renovating the entire restaurant." We left quickly afterwards because we felt anything but welcome.

Really enjoyed lunch here today. It's not easy to find somewhere with food our young vegetarian children are happy to eat and that have vegan options for me but this ticked all the boxes. The four of us all ordered different things and all really enjoyed our food and the service was excellent. A real delight!

Stopped for a few beers and snacks at Zeta. You can sit indoors or enjoy the marketplace under umbrellas and people-watch. Food is great and beers were cold. Bathrooms were clean. Great vegetarian options. Service was friendly but took quite a while but then, it was a busy night. Totally will go again. Free public wifi too.

The coffee was very delicious...but the lemon cake was unbeatable, it even had a sour touch.

Bad experience with this place, it took a very long time before we got our drinks. waiting more than an hour for three beers made no sense. and when we said something about it, nothing was done about it. I definitely wouldn't recommend this.

Lots of vegan, great! Coriander is not mentioned on the map but is used. Very busy and loud inside, everyone is on their toes. Super friendly staff and they make up for a lot. Even though the order didn't come through and we had to wait a very long time. big doubts about going back, maybe on the terrace outside ... not inside.

I really like the concept of this place and the fully vegetarian/vegan menu, but I unfortunately can’t recommend their flexwork space, at least not on a Friday afternoon. The music gets so loud and the acoustics make it very difficult to work. I think it’s much better as just a bar, or perhaps the music can only be turned up later in the evening.

We went to have a beer and when we saw the food we couldn't help but not order. We ordered "Mezze Fritata" and it was delicious. 100% recommended and a very good dish to share. The waiters were very friendly, the Spanish girl was a sweetheart and the chef was very pleasant and attentive. We will definitely return and recommend it. Lekker and Eet smakelijk!!

Okay place, very good location, but luck of ideas how to make it more cozy.

Restaurant Zeta, located on the lively Grote Markt, offers a cozy atmosphere that is perfect for an evening out. It is completely full here after working days and during the weekend, so it is definitely recommended to book in advance. The service is friendly and the food is delicious. The only downside is that the music is sometimes a bit too loud, so you have to talk above the noise of the environment. It is not a quiet place, but nevertheless it remains recommended for a pleasant evening out.

Had dinner with 3 colleagues tonight. It was all really tasty. And all my requests were kindly met. One thing was not possible, but that can happen, at least it was kindly checked and clearly explained. Vegan and vegetarian. Highly recommended.

Cute restaurant right in the Grote Markt. The vegan range was great, there was a great selection of starters, main courses and desserts. We had gyozas, fries and date chocolate cake. Everything was highly recommended. The atmosphere is rather rustic, the service was a bit slow and you had to wait a long time. However, a good restaurant!

Not much time and therefore not able to eat very many dishes. But what I tasted was good and the service was super nice.

Visited Zèta on a recent trip to Den Haag and it definitely didn't disappoint! My partner and I are both vegan, so having an entire menu to choose from felt like a luxury! The portion sizes are huge (so make sure to visit with empty stomachs). Pictured is the Poke Nachos, Zeta Pad Thai, olives, fries and 'It's a date' dessert. Food taste and quality was excellent and would highly recommend to any vegans heading to Den Haag!🌿

Maar hier geven ze niet op: de kok maakt een fantastische creatie! Warme appeltaart, vers fruit erbij, munt, caramelsaus en een bolletje Ijs. Super! En het personeel ook!

Wat een smaaksensaties bij Zeta! Echt heerlijk veganistisch gegeten. Eerst op het gezellige terras wat gedronken en daarna zeer prettig ontvangen door het personeel van Zeta. Aanrader!! Zeer smaakvol wat je ook besteld.

Sehr leckere, rein vegane Gerichte. Der Burger, Pommes und das Nudelgericht waren sehr gut. Wir waren Samstag Abend spontan da und haben draußen den letzten freien Platz ergattert. Draußen alles sehr voll zugestellt, man sitzt sehr eng aber so ist es bei den umliegenden Restaurants auch gewesen. Drinnen sehr schön eingerichtet. Bedienung war sehr freundlich, Bestellung schnell da.

Wir haben im Café Zèta gefrühstückt und haben es geliebt - das super freundliche Personal, das leckere Essen, das entspannte Ambiente am Morgen. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen! Zur Info: Das Frühstück fällt eher herzhaft aus ;)

Gegessen haben wir zwar nicht trotzdem war da Bier einfach super. Toller Platz, um sich kurz auszuruhen nach einem anstrengenden Fußmarsch. Hier kann man entspannt draußen sitzen. Das Personal ist echt freundlich, die Preise Ortsüblich.

Gegessen einen Avocado Toast und ein Lavendel Limonade. Essen war absolut top. Sehr schön dekoriert und in ausreichender Menge. Preis Leistung war super. Die Limonade war geschmacklich gut. Für mich jedoch einen Ticken zu süß. Persona war sehr freundlich. Tolles Ambiente. Schön zum sitzen. Kleiner Nachteil: kein Service am Tisch. Location und auch Toiletten waren sauber

Heerlijke biertjes en leuke sfeer. We waren vroeg op de avond en hebben heerlijk een drankje kunnen doen.

Wij waren verrast door het heerlijke 100% veganistische en prachtig gepresenteerde eten en de klantvriendelijkheid van het personeel. Een aanrader!

Selderij steak was voortreffelijk. Alle smaken apart en bij elkaar waren fantastisch. Voor iemand die ook wel eens vlees eet wat ik verrast datvdit zou lekker zou kunnen smaken

So sollte ein Tag starten! Der Service ist freundlich und schnell. Das Avocado Sandwich und der Eggplant toastie waren köstlich und genau das richtige für einen guten Start in den Tag. Preis-Leistung 👍

Vegans shouldn’t miss this cafe, there are options of plant-based menus. Early and long opening hours, you can come for whether breakfast, dinner or late night drinks. I tried some breakfast menus , they are all good. Their service is also impressive :)

The staff is super nice, they have a nice vegan variety - but in the end, the taste was quite flat. I had Gnocchi with promising sounding lemon pea sauce but it was just a huge amount of cream. What was worse for me though was the very bad taste super loud pop music - we could hardly have a conversation and had to shout at each other all the way through dinner. It was so exhausting! So it’s really for getting drunk mostly ;) I guess…

Café Restaurant Zèta is a wonderful establishment that offers an exceptional dining experience. From the moment you enter the restaurant, you are greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that is perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable meal.

Restaurant is only in the back and front is more of a cafe,which makes it all a bit loud because there are people standing at the bar and drinking. The ( vegan!) food was served beautifully and main course was delicious. Would also recommend the elderflower lemonade! The waiter was very friendly, but service lacked a little bit, not his fault though. It seemed like he was the only waiter for the entire restaurant for the evening so I couldn't really blame him that he was very busy. Still kept a smile though. Empty glasses and plates weren't actively cleaned from the table and piled up. This could be an amazing vegetarian restaurant which we would visit many more times if it was less loud and seats were a bit more comfy to wine and dine for a longer period of time. Not enough space for larger groups (>5). We'll probably still return once every few months to check whats new on the menu. But only for a quick dinner. Last winter the Pad Thai and Rendang were quite good, this april I'd recommend the celeriac steak or lemon gnocchi. Looking forward to seeing what's gonna be on the menu next season.
