Amazing place to study and relax! There is a very nice ambience and a fire place! The food is alright, depending from which section you order. But overall the drinks are good and the prices are decent

Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Venlo! There are lots of different restaurants offering a variety of dishes from around the world. Everything looks appealing and tastes great. The interior is beautifully decorated — very cozy and welcoming. You can easily order right from your table using an app, and the food is brought to you. Highly recommended, also great for a quick snack in between.

First time! The most expensive and worst cappuccino I've ever been served. No flavor, not warm, a bit of loose foam. Ordering and paying only with your smartphone via QR code, and donating a tip right away! This isn't going to happen in Venlo's hospitality industry. Let's see how long they can keep it up...

I've rarely seen such a bad experience. I knew there were already some negative reviews, but it was easy to queue from the station. During the Zomerparkfeesten 24', a friend and I wanted to eat and drink on the terrace just before the Rowwen Hèze Concert. The Mout terrace is the obvious choice (17-letter Lingo word). Well, it was packed (I have to admit) and sweltering. It took a while for a waiter to come. One waiter said he'd be right over because he was busy. After he came to us and said "no hello," we were given a menu, and a little later we ordered drinks and something to eat. I wanted to order something "from the chef," but first asked what it meant specifically, since it was written in general terms. The (student-looking) waitress didn't know, which we found strange. At least as a "potato seller," you usually know what the most popular snack is. The prices were quite expensive, but we were in a prime location (near the Zomerparkfeesten and Julianapark), and that wasn't a problem for me (as long as we received good service and quality food and drinks). Sun, humor, cheerful people, and a well-stocked park with a great program planned would be top ingredients... We had to pay in advance, which I'd never experienced before. I didn't ask (I didn't). A little later, it took a while, and we received our drinks, but it was the wrong drink. This was corrected. Then I got the food, but it was anything but special considering the price. I had to wash it down a bit. In the end, I didn't get a "good day" or something like that. Very mediocre.

The place was cool. However the drinks took too much to come and we were already finishing food when it came. Food was good but we didn’t like the calamaris which were either dry or gummy so they were not edible unfortunately :(

I've eaten there before and recently celebrated Carnival for two days. The selection is enormous and very varied. I didn't order any culinary delights, and surprisingly, the same dish was served differently and in a larger size on two different days. I found this rather surprising, considering the price remained the same. There are several seating areas and a terrace at the front and back. Incidentally, it's very child-friendly and spacious. The building does make it quite noisy and noisy. It's a shame it's not within walking distance of everything, otherwise I would have definitely come back more often to eat and catch up.

Hippe zaak, hippe kaart, mooi terras, binnen is het niet echt netjes, vieze ramen, vieze trap, en als de bediening komt is ze wel vriendelijk, maar ze zijn ontzettend onderbemand. Het eten was al lang op en afgerekend, toen onze drankjes pas kwamen. De afwas neemt enorme proporties aan. Jammer, want deze zaak is echt heel leuk gelegen ook….

I feel obliged to follow up my previous review. The downfall of Mout is obvious. The location is still great. The service is slow and unorganised. It is impossible to eat and drink together, it's rather a solo for two. The food has a serious identity crisis. It's a mix and (un)match of different styles where you need 2,5 or 3,5 to have a dinner. Venlo has to much more to offer. Just take a look at the old town center.

Pleasantly surprised by the very friendly staff. We had reserved our own table with tap and we were well looked after. It is a beautiful, atmospheric place with delicious food and drinks.

It's a prime location, unfortunately the food was terrible. We were 4 people. The food did not come at the same time. 2 of us ordered a mackerel salad. This was completely permeated with spicy French mustard and inedible. The service was friendly, professional and suggested bringing a new salad with the mustard separately in a bowl. After a long wait, a new salad was brought with just as much mustard in it as the first order. We then left... 2 of us with empty stomachs. Too bad about the communication between service and kitchen

Vandaag hier lekker geluncht met dertien dames. Vooraf onze keuze doorgegeven, want druk programma en maar beperkte tijd. Alles stond keurig klaar bij binnenkomst. Last minute wilde een enkeling toch nog wat wijzigen. Was geen enkel probleem, werd vriendelijk en snel opgelost. Wij hebben heel relaxed een uurtje kunnen zitten, gezellig kletsen en ondertussen ook nog heerlijk kunnen lunchen voor een prima prijs. Superservice!

Have been coming here for some years now, I like the options and the food quality is good. Burgers and steak sandwiches are recommended. The Mexican plate is nice too, only thing I didn't like about it so much were the chicken wings which need to be crispier and more seasoned. All in all is this place one of my favorites in Venlo.

After arriving in Venlo we stopped straight away. A super chic and pretty food hall. Very nice designer with his own beer brewery. The beer actually tastes very good. We didn't eat here but what we saw looked good. Service and ambience were great.

Staff is very friendly and considerate about allergies, etc. Only when it comes to service you can wait a long time to order and everything takes a long time. The food was also mediocre, little taste and dry if you ask me. Nice place to go for the atmosphere and diverse cuisines but not for good food.

The quality of the food varies greatly, depending on which of the 'street food ' kitchens prepared it . The app did not work on my phone, no proof of payment or the order after payment which was a bit of a problem when it did not arrive, payment via Ideal only, so be prepared to pay for your buitenlandse friends . The thing has a definite Garden Center tuincafe' vibe . Best eat on the table : Argentinian Steak with Chimichurri - great quality beef and very nice fresh 'churri :-) I was here in the first week after opening, I'm quite sure they have gotten their act together since then . All in all a nice place to go to, the size alone :-) Add on : Beginning of November, the place has grown into it's skin :-) App works seamlessly, the service is prompt if by totally inexperienced youngsters who know nothing about whatever they are serving out. When I called one of them to say I had a prob with the oysters ; they had been hacked to pieces during the opening of them and were full of shell splinters the Server apologized with a promise of booking back the pay for them - we'll see ... Also : Friday Night Cocktail night for a fiver ... today it was Baileys, Chocolate, betcha cream ... lekker :-) Minus point are the toilets on the first floor -: steep stairs, not really lit with an impossible handrail. I checked my banking - the booking back was not done. Very irritating . However the food and the logistical f ups, , the coffee is great and the location stunning Here for breakfast - come for the wonderful location and the coffee, the rest is very underwhelming sadly . Soggy Bacon strips, tasteless scrambled eggs and eggs benedict with a horrible, industrially made hollandaise straight from a tetra pack . ' we make it ourselves ' no way . One has to get the shiftleader to the table, who will then return the money paid via IDEAL in cash . Every time I give the place another try, it get's worse - such a pity as the location is so nice... Here again on 31 Jan - a not so busy Wednesday . Today's Chimichurri tasted stale , the Steak was so hard to chew I gave up and gave it to the dog ( like it was taken out of the cooling and immediately put on the grill , I chewed on that for a long long time ) Soft tacos also from Caliente were soggy and lifeless . At least the Alt beer was great and the location is still spectacular. They had the fire going in the front , that was lovely.

Great location, great food and very nice service. The locally brewed beer was also very good. Totally recommended!

Cool concept and ambience. We were able to order easily using our smartphone, but were also told by the very friendly waiter that we could order from him if we wanted. We were totally satisfied with the hot dog and the bowl, and the beer was also good. Both of our dishes arrived a little delayed because we had ordered from different “stands”, but that wasn’t a big deal.

Reasonable food for a good price.

The "boards" are just not enough for 1 person. No side dishes such as fries or salad. That makes it expensive. The beef skewer was impossible to remove. Just chewing gum. The standing plank did not contain satay. Etc etc. Not recommended and expensive.

Location great. Ambience top notch. Great food…… The (classic) Kibbeling, the (crispy) fries with truffle mayo and the Pinsa: lovingly prepared, great in taste. My unreserved recommendation.

Our first experience here and we were pleasantly surprised. Truly an atmosphere of an upmarket food hall as you see in other cities. We only drank coffee. We could order this from the staff, but we decided to do this via the QR code on the table. This was very easy and we were served our coffees quite quickly. There is a pleasant atmosphere in the business. There is also an addition of beer brewery De Klep. Let's take a look at this next time

Perfect example of a so called “biological looking alternative” where they use cheap ingredients and make the prices very high. Serving all cultural foods but is clearly not made by real professional cooks….

Ir/Madam, I would like to file a complaint about my recent experience at restaurant Mout in Venlo. On September 24, 2024, I was unfortunately treated in a very unfriendly way by the staff, probably by the manager. Upon arrival, I accidentally parked my car incorrectly because I overlooked a warning sign. Instead of kindly pointing this out to me, my car was locked up by the staff, which I found very unpleasant. I don't expect this kind of behavior from a catering establishment where I have always enjoyed eating. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed my perception of your restaurant. I have always appreciated the quality of the food and service, but this incident left me very disappointed and I have decided to eat elsewhere from now on. I believe this is not the way loyal customers should be treated. I hope that you take this feedback seriously and that measures are taken to ensure that situations like this are prevented in the future. Yours sincerely,

Tasty food. Service sometimes takes a while. The concept means that you do not start eating at the same time.

Yesterday we sat outside in the beautiful weather and enjoyed delicious brewery beer. Come again.

The food is comparable to fancy canteen food, but nothing special. The loaded fries looked good, but only put their feet in the deep fryer for a short time. They were still very soft and not crispy. The fried chicken burger wasn't anything special either, you could hardly taste the chicken and otherwise there weren't many ingredients on it. Despite the modern ordering system, a drink was only brought upon request and the prices in everything are crazy.

Unfortunately, we trusted our hostess blindly and didn't read any reviews beforehand and sat down in the food court. The beer is good but the food is really subpar. If you like Convinced, you've come to the right place. The quality doesn't even come close to the price. Together we spent almost €100.

Terrible. For this Mexican platter, which is to be shared, you will be charged €15. The portions are mini and seasonless. Overall, as a group, we ordered from three different stands and no one was even remotely satisfied. By the end of the meal I was feeling really sick too. A complete waste of money

Op het eerste zicht een leuke plek. We waren vrij vroeg op de avond en het was wel opvallend dat er precies meer personeel rond liep dan klanten. Bediening verliep vlot en vriendelijk. De hapjes waren verzorgd en lekker. Toch ontbrak er gezelligheid (door de leegte) en hebben we besloten om het bij een aperitief te houden en het centrum in te trekken voor het diner zelf.

Waited like 1.5 hrs for the food, just ordered a burrito, the potion is sooooo small for 12,50€ this is actually really crazy. Wouldn’t recommend for the Mexican food but the fries are alright.

We went here as a group. The fries came immediately after 10 minutes and actually were the best out of everything we ordered. A prosciutto Pizza, which was also just decent. The following food I list, came after 1,5 Hours. Because they forgot about us. They started to cook our dishes, only because we complained about the waiting time. Two of us ordered a burrito for 12,50€, which was the size of their small 0,2 glasses. Two others ordered Pho. The Pho broth had zero flavour and seasoning. Don’t fall for the in comparison “cheap” price, it’s still not worth it. 3 ordered Quesadilla. The Quesadilla were burnt, nothing more to add to it.

The food was really bombastic and the staff was really nice and helpful. 10/10 would eat there again anytime ^^

The food was very good. Even though there were initially problems with receiving our order, which was placed online at the table, there was also a fair agreement. The main course finally arrived quite quickly and was still warm. The staff was friendly and attentive, even when we asked questions. The dessert consisted of churros, and was stunning, especially the chocolate sauce which created a good harmony between the two. The ambience was very aesthetic and you felt very comfortable inside and outside thanks to the beautiful plants. All in all a clear 10/10.

The food tasted amazing! Not only the main dishes but also the desserts. I must say, for me personally the churros were breath taking. One could say it tasted Aladdin Oberfantastisch (Die wilden Kerle reference). The sauce was just perfect- the chocolate, just everything. The staff was also very friendly and helpful! Place looks beautiful and has a nice aesthetic aswell as an calm atmosphere- perfect for meeting up. Overall I would say it’s Ultra Premium cool! (I recommend the churros :D)

Mout is run by students, service and price/quality of the food are very poor. You cannot serve these dishes for such prices. It's nice to sit, but eating is not recommended, which is a shame. Management tries to make something of it, but it's just not it.

It is a beautifully decorated and very comfortable place that offers a wide variety of good quality beers. Then we ordered a dish with several estremeses and it was all delicious, it still wouldn't be a place where I would go for dinner, more to snack on something and have a beer.

Ate here for a quick dinner. The service was fast and friendly and the food was excellent. The only downside is that the music was so loud inside that I almost immediately turned around, but outside it was fine.

The food is MEGA TASTY! Prices proportional to the quality and portion size, we happened to be watching the Poland-Austria match, great atmosphere, very nice service, we will come back :)

Totally worth the drive! It was quite busy on Saturday evening. The service deserves a compliment; attentive and very friendly. The food was fresh and delivered quickly, the cocktail and beers were also delicious! We will definitely come back here. Casual, beautiful place with a very nice agenda, all sorts of things are organised. 10/10

Very cool location. Food is good and they even have their own brewery in the building. The children can play outside in the park. You can sit inside and outside.

We stopped in Venlo for lunch and found this place as there were not too many other options. I was positively surprised by the location. I liked the atmosphere and that there is a craft beer brewery in the building. The food we had was good and satisfying along the flat white. We were served by several waitresses but they were all quick and friendly. I would go back if I was in town again.

Nice dining location to eat. Very neatly built around their own beer brewery. The menu is versatile, but they have to be careful about the quantity of choices. When reading, one cannot see the forest for the trees.

Unfortunately the food was very, very bad. The food came one after the other and the chicken was sickening. I would recommend the cook to prepare dog food instead. Pets are also common here, to the detriment of hygiene.

Wir haben uns sehr über den Service im Restaurant geärgert. Die von uns bestellten dicken Fritten mit Schale (vorher nachgefragt) kamen dann nicht, sondern handelsübliche, dünne , ohne Schale (aus der Tüte). Ich habe meine Portion zurückgegeben und ging davon aus, dass ich neue bekomme. Dies war nicht der Fall. Auf wiederholte Nachfrage sagte uns dann die Chefin, dass wir Fritten bestellt haben und auf der Karte nur Fritten angegeben sind. Das hätte wir so bestellt. Ich bekam keine neuen Fritten (da angeblich aus) und die Fritten wurden uns berechnet (mit 25 % Rabatt). Sehr unfreundlich wurden wir dann verabschiedet, wir werden dieses Restaurant nicht mehr besuchten und können es auch nicht empfehlen. Da wir leider keine Telefonnummer gefunden haben, um uns direkt an anderer Stelle zu beschweren, findet diese Bewertung hoffentlich Ihren Weg. l

Terrible! We were there a while ago when the Japanese and the taco spot were still there, and we also had fries with salmon back then, which were great. We came back from Germany specifically because of this meal. It's just young people working there, probably students, not people who are chefs and can actually prepare food. All they do there is fry frozen products and serve them. A disgrace for the prices! The alleged spicy fried chicken was simply a hard-fried ready-made product with Shiracha sauce poured over it. The fries were even terrible and the salmon on them wasn't good either. A pity! It's such a great location and a really cool concept but you should put emphasis on the quality of the food and hire real chefs and not students who just joke around with each other the whole time. Oh and the “homemade” lemonade was just water with ultra-sweet syrup where you pay 50 cents extra for sparkling water. Never experienced anything like this. Never again.

Map has changed a lot, too bad. Much less small dishes and the taste has also changed a lot from things we already knew. Place remains nice, had to wait a long time for food even though it wasn't very busy. Too bad the food and menu have changed.

I was here for the first time today and I ordered the house lemonade, which was supposed to contain lemon but it didn't have any, I drank a glass of water with a slice of lemon on the edge and a mint leaf, so no taste. I ordered the deluxe burger, which contains bacon, it was a bit burnt, the fried egg was ok, and 2 meat pattys that were tasteless, without seasoning. What saved this meal were the fried sweet potatoes with sauce.

Het eten in de foodhall Mout bevindt zich op een glijdende schaal, naar beneden. De porties worden alsmaar kleiner en de kwaliteit is nu op een punt aangekomen dat ik er alleen nog ga voor een lekker drankje met uitzicht op het prachtige Julianapark. Prijzen zijn veel te hoog voor de beetjes matig eten dat je krijgt.

It is a nice place, spacious and pleasant environments with different restaurants. The service was correct, the food was well presented, nothing special and scarce, the prices are high.

I thought I would have a cappuccino in the nice weather, this is how I received my cappuccino. This is not a cappuccino/coffee cup as it is too hot to hold and it is just not common. Then I asked if she wanted to change it, they put it in the same cup! Didn't enjoy it at all. Buy new coffee cups!

Dit was een flinke tegenvaller. Bijna alle gerechten waren uitverkocht. 3x opnieuw een keuze gemaakt. Alles werd een voor een gebracht zodat iedereen zo wat alleen zat te eten. Een van de gerechten was overigens zo extreem zout dat het niet eetbaar was. Hier hoefde we gelukkig niet voor te betalen.

I normally never post negative reviews, but I have never eaten at such a crappy place. 80 percent of the menu was already sold out by 6 p.m. When 3 of the 4 people had received their orders, the waiter came to announce that the 4th person's dish was sold out. We waited another hour for a quesadilla that ultimately only had cheese on it. The salsa was simply left out and there was no flavor at all. The sushi was cut into very strange pieces, 3 normal pieces and 3 mini pieces (probably also used up). There were also fish eggs on it while it was supposed to be sushi with avocado. The mini spring rolls, 4 spring rolls for 6 euros!, were supposed to be vegan, but they had a shrimp tail stuck to them. Delicious if you don't eat animals. We also ordered poke bowls, but 2 of the 3 portions were missing the seaweed. The waiter would bring the soy sauce but we never saw it again. The low point was the tofu satay that we ordered 3 times but (fortunately) only came once. The tofu was even saltier than a bite of pure salt. If you ate the whole thing you would either not survive or end up in the hospital with high blood pressure! I've never experienced anything like this before and normally I always eat everything. The food was extremely bad, as was the service and to make matters worse, there was also some orchestra inside playing happy birthday all the time. Definitely not recommended!

High prices. Burger was great, sushi was okay too, but the children's portion of noodles was, in my opinion, a joke. No child will be satisfied with such a microscopic portion. Given the price compared to the size of the portion, you no longer needed a microscope. Service, however, was SUPER nice

Sorry, the restaurant is hardly capable with its tasks. Whilst the food is some overpriced fastfood, each order we have placed has either been delayed or did not come at all. I mean, fries and some usual drinks... how complicated is that. At the end, we left after two hours without having received the food although we had paid. Bitter experience.

My spaghetti was more of a children's portion and for quite a bit of money. The beer was very good.

Unfortunately no longer the original taste of the Asian food what it used to be. The pho soup is now a Dutch vegetable soup without much flavor. It used to be with Vietnamese spices, but no more. Also the salad was done with cheese instead of hummus. The waitress was very helpful to change it but the hummus wasn't really hummus, it tastes like mustard with mayonaise. Also they forgot to serve the vegetables with the sate meat. So 2 out of 3 dishes we ordered were partly wrong, and the 3rd didn't taste good anymore. I hope that this food hall will go back to offering unique and original flavors from around the world

The food wasn't good. I also found the waiters really horrible, very listless faces, I didn't even come up with the idea to clear something away... very long waiting times for everything, especially when it came to the bill... so great potential, just a great idea but just very poorly implemented.

We ventured into “caliente.” Ice cream and ice-cold tomato salsa (if you can call it that). A hand full of peppers and some nachos. Then there is a dollop of crazy cheese sauce. The waiter also wisely did not ask if it tasted good, because this really shouldn't be for human consumption. In short, Mout, this was a one-off. What a disgrace. Dear people, if the music is so loud that it drowns out the quality of the rest, you better go elsewhere.

Food good so far. However, some things seem like they were simply bought and served somewhere. Service is very quick when bringing the food. However, extremely slow when clearing the tables. What was very negative: the tables were wiped with old, dirty water. There is a bucket in the corner where the rag is dipped in over and over again....

A nice place for a snack and drink. Here you can enjoy many cuisines and more than enough choice of drinks.

I ordered a Bob's Mocktails for €6 and I received a small glass.

10/10, really enjoy it! We were a bit scared by the mixed reviews, but if you are still in doubt about eating here, do it! We really liked that you can order at the table with a QR code whenever you want, it really worked great for us and you don't have to wait, of course you can also order from the staff. We had a super friendly waiter, the food was super tasty and for a good price, and we also really liked the atmosphere! You have to love it, but we are fans. See photos for some dishes you can order. We were amazed at how many different dishes you can order, respect for the chefs. There is something tasty on the menu for everyone.

Nice place to sit if you are in the first part. The large “hall” is less atmospheric, but ideal for groups. The food varies greatly per restaurant. Beej Wim's food in particular (sushi, gyoza etc) is very good. This is the reason we come here. Do not order from the Nacho/taco shop. That is really of lower quality.

Once and never again! We came especially from Germany because it was “hyped” on Tiktok and visually it looked good too. We arrived at a time when at most 4-5 tables were occupied. We sat in the middle and waited 30-40 minutes for the waiter to "come back" to take our order. He never came back. We were also ignored by the other employees. After that, 10 minutes later, guests who were sitting next to us came and their orders were taken twice. We stood at the table with the menu for 40 minutes and at the end we left and UNFORTUNATELY had to pay for the drink. The employee at the cash register even knew where we were sitting and we often tried to "call" the waiters. Nobody came. NEVER AGAIN!!! In addition, NO ONE told us that you can also order online. The waiters walked slowly through the area, didn't speak to any guests or even put things away. I wonder why you pay so many employees, they only scare away your customers? 😀 I could have sat directly at a chip shop. You even get more attention.

Quiet, pleasant place with super tasty food and very tasty beers from the De Klep brewery. Very good service.
