What a disappointment! After repeatedly eating ribs here, I decided to grab a bite to eat tonight before going to the theater. I ordered schnitzel with fries and stroganoff sauce. I asked for the schnitzel to be fried, but it turned out to be hard and on a baking sheet. They said they'd make a new one. I said, "I'll make it from grease, and would you like to take your plate?" That wasn't necessary. I could already eat fries; you don't do this like that. So I had to either let the fries get cold or eat the meat without fries. The next schnitzel wasn't hard or burnt, but it wasn't very tasty either. The sauce, I think, was gypsy sauce. Unfortunately, we won't be ordering it again. It was also quite cold inside, which they solved with a portable gas burner.

After taking over, I was very disappointed with the portions. Fries were overcooked, overly salted, and underdone. No difference between a regular and a large portion of fries. No tasty sauce with the pulled pork; in short, dry... You could indeed indicate that you'd prefer slightly overcooked fries and less salt, but when you place your order at the kiosk, that option isn't available. Absolutely a NO-GO. A real shame...

Really bad service! They don't bring anything, and then you have to ask for it yourself, and they get angry. And the food was inedible.

You get served quickly, but the quality can be inconsistent; the fries were way too soft. Last time I ate here (a few days ago), they were crispy.

Just picked up fries from here, but I've never had such a bad package of fries. There were literally 25 arrows of fries in the box. The satay sauce also tasted like it had been simmering for days. Once and never again!

I waited about five minutes to place an order. The older woman behind the counter was chatting with another customer and ignored me, even though she clearly saw me waiting. No effort was made to help me. I ended up leaving and eating somewhere else. Shame about the service! You won't see me there again.

The food is well-prepared. We often eat spareribs there. They're generously replenished without having to run out of garnishes first, for example. The staff is friendly and helpful if things don't go as planned or the quantities vary.

You are laughed at and belittled when you ask a normal question about ingredients due to allergies, super unfriendly staff and I am not the only one who thinks so! Also very expensive and mediocre food

Just went in and placed 1 order, they forgot to give the snacks, then you call, you get the answer "yes that's right, do you live close because we are closing in 5 minutes" Paid fucking 17.50 for 2 "fries". Really not okay... arrogant woman on the phone

Ordered food yesterday and had it delivered. All 4 of us got sick and everything came out. Had a really bad taste in our mouths and really bad stomach. Contacted them about this and they immediately dismissed it with, among other things, whether we had a busy day (we didn't) and that it wasn't their fault anyway. The food really wasn't good. A listening ear would have been nice. So never again here

Walking outside all day for a good cause and then you think you'll take a quiet break with 2 friends. Both ordered food and I brought a small bowl of food from home, but I was rejected with a clear 'NO' when I asked if I could eat it next to my friends. So you see that on a day where you want to contribute yourself to society in a positive way, you get no sympathy at all in return, bizarre!

Great service, especially the owner, who makes sure that each customer is served professionally. Additionally, she is lovely to talk to. Orders are processed quickly, you can order for delivery online or on site - at the cash register or at the touch screen. The employees know the range well and are able to provide additional information or recommend something for every appetite.

I am currently 32 weeks pregnant and we drove here for an hour after work because I really wanted to try the spareribs. They were really delicious! We were there with our 14-month-old son, who only drank milk until two months ago and still hardly eats. That is why we wanted to give him small pieces (he has not yet eaten two pieces in total). Then we were told by an employee - who looked gloomy from the start and was not friendly at all - that we were not allowed to share with others. We did not do that either, we only gave small pieces to our baby. We explained that he hardly eats anything and that a full children's menu would not make sense for him, because it would be a waste of food and our money. At the end we still got a bill on which €3.50 was charged for the two pieces that we had given to our baby. This completely changed the atmosphere. We left immediately and did not even eat any more. The food was great and we would love to come back again, but the principle that we were not even allowed to share with our 14 month old baby and that he had to have his own plate, we found really ridiculous.

When you walk in you are welcomed by a warm homely atmosphere. The service is fast and friendly. Most importantly: the ribs are also delicious.

Half rooster menu was excellent Schnitzel menu also great. Good quality and a good price. Thank you very much.

Picked up a quick lunch here during a training session around the corner. Omelette and salad, simple, fast and well organised.

The atmosphere was great. We came for the unlimited spareribs and it was really delicious! Consistently it fell off the bone and was nice and tender :) Friendly service made for a nice anniversary dinner with my friend 💛💛💛

Already our 4th time in this top store! Of course it doesn't disappoint again, meaty spareribs accompanied by a good portion of fatty fries 😋 Unlimited = unlimited, and that is what the staff understands. With smooth service, a new portion of ribs is always served with a smile! 🔝 I give it 5 stars and especially thank the chef for the delicious meal! We will be back soon to eat many more spare ribs 😉

Today we had a nice dinner at vdSchoot, opted for the always delicious Ribbekes, it was delicious again and the service is great, parking has also been renovated at the garage boxes at the rear, see you next time!!!

We thought we would try out a different chip shop... The fries were very tasty and so were the bitterballen. The 7 euro hamburger would have been tasty, provided they had used a different bun. This soft bun made it very soggy and was barely able to hold it. It literally fell apart. You are barely greeted upon entering. Not even when leaving. The atmosphere is too gloomy for words. As if no one felt like working. Even the owner doesn't spare you a glance. We did not feel welcome and will not return here.

Enjoyed the 3 course menu. Friendly service, neatly coming to the table to ask if everything was satisfactory and sufficient. Nothing to complain about the quantity. The fries are great. And the dessert was also excellent. This resulted in 4 happy faces. Will definitely come back.

The go-to place for delicious spareribs. Normally not a fan of spare ribs at all, but here they are usually good to eat and for a very reasonable price. Parking space is a bit on the tight side.

We ate delicious unlimited ribs, they were wonderfully tender and prepared. My wife had carpaccio and steak tips, which were also delicious. In terms of price, it is certainly not expensive.

Wat waren de ribjes lekker. Vanavond hier met 4en gegeten ‘onbeperkt spareribs’ De frietjes waren goed en salade buffet was niet groot maar was meer dan genoeg en lekker. Bediening vriendelijk en vlot. Top.

Just ridiculous help. You come to get ice cream, a very large group comes in, so I have no overview of the counter and it is very busy for me. I'm on my phone because I have to wait. And because of this I am ridiculously told to "always use those *** phones, be more careful next time" while the store is full on the ice side by the employee!!! Can also be customer-friendly for someone who comes here often and steps aside to shout or deliver it!!!! Ridiculous. Lost a regular customer!!.. Antisocial help here.... shame...

Came here for the first time, ate spare ribs, meat was very tender, you really got a lot, there was also a salad buffet, you could have salad as often as you wanted, it was delicious, staff was very friendly, the chef came to the table We asked if we wanted more spare ribs, so all in all great, we will definitely come back.

2 dishes 1: steak tip: way too salty. immediately feel nauseous after eating 2 pieces of this (and this in someone who never suffers from nausea or stomach complaints). Conclusion: meat was probably expired/spoiled, which was tried to cover up with salt. Sorry, but if you try to poison your customers, the spareribs may be good, but we won't be coming back here. 2: spareribs: fine

Frans van der Schoot has been a household name in Oss for many years. What a pity that it is again an ordinary snack bar, albeit with a thorough makeover, but still... And unfortunately the menu promises more than reality, at least as far as the cordon bleu is concerned: "Well filled with ham and cheese" was ultimately a cordon bleu with ham inside and a slice of cheese was on the meat. Shame !

Fries and snacks tasted great, portion of fries for 5 people was more than enough. Unfortunately the satay sauce had started to leak; cardboard lid on a plastic cup doesn't work.

Quite a chic cafeteria in terms of decor.. Food was fine.. The burgers were very tasty. Staff were friendly.. I was also able to get a blow in there without any problems.

Great snack bar, lots of choice but it remains a snack bar. The positive thing is that you can get many types of ice cream there, but it's a pity that you can't order thin/French fries there. Service isn't really great at the moment. When you are standing in line for an ice cream, the employee helps 1 customer and then completely ignores you.

Nice place! We drove to Oss a bit on spec and passed Frans. Nice tent! The atmosphere is wonderfully carefree, you notice that from the first moment you step inside. You will be warmly welcomed. You can order via a QR code, but also via the service. Once again the customer-oriented attitude of the employees, it feels very warm. The food was delicious and the choices you can make are pleasant. You can also order rice instead of fries, just as easy. Have ordered online several times...delicious spareribs and schnitzel...

Vandaag even wezen eten bij van der Schoot.De formule voor wat betreft het bestellen is veranderd. De formule begrijp ik en begrijp ook dat er in deze tijd weinig personeel is. Wat ik niet begrijp is dat als je constateerd dat de schaaltjes van het saladebuffet vuil zijn en als je dat aangeeft je een belachelijke reactie krijgt. Ik constateerde vanavond dat de schaaltjes vuil waren, gaf dit aan maar dit viel al duidelijk niet goed. Achter het buffet bleken de schaaltjes ook vuil en deze werden dan ook erg demonstratief naar de afwas gebracht. Een schoon schaaltje kwam echter niet. Toen ik bij het brengen van het eten aangaf dat ik nog steeds geen schaaltje had ontplofte de bediening. Er werd boos een schaaltje op tafel gegooid voorzien van een kwade opmerking. Daar reageerde mijn partner op dat het ook anders zou kunnen, nou dat kon ook nog, er kwam een hele verwijten cannonade achteraan. Wij hebben maar gauw ons eten opgegeten wat op zich prima was maar ons eigenlijk door bovenstaande niet meer smaakte. Nou bediening, maak je niet druk, wij blijven in de toekomst wel weg!

Het is niet meer restaurantwaardig. Het eten smaakte goed, maar daar houdt alles dan ook mee op. Totaal geen contact meer met het personeel. Je moet via een code bestellen en dan eerst betalen voordat het eten gebracht wordt.

Quality and nothing wrong with it

Just ate, but what a horror this snack bar is :( the currywurst seemed cooked, not cooked at all and even partly red and cold on the inside, which should be crispy on the outside. Furthermore, the viandel was tough on the outside and also lukewarm. The fries were half raw on the inside, and the atmosphere is not cozy at all, just like a chicken coop, sorry. In any case, I will never go there again

The last few times the orders have often gone wrong. sauces that do not belong with the snacks, fries without sauce, completely wrong orders or sometimes even missing snacks. After having explicitly stated more than once that I did not want sauce with my snacks, I come home to the surprise of discovering that there is mayonnaise with my snacks, even though I had even indicated separately that this was not the intention. A mistake can happen once, but after five times it becomes playgroup level, I hope this will be resolved in the future yours sincerely.

Not the cheapest snack bar, but the food is almost always excellent. However, I have noticed a lot of mistakes lately (forgetting snacks) and chaos as soon as you enter the business. It seems as if they cannot handle the combination of snack bar, restaurant and delivery, so you sometimes have to wait a really long time without your order being taken or being seen at all by the staff, who often have a staff of 5+ working.
