I stopped by spontaneously for fries. Ordered quickly, received friendly service, and received a very tasty portion of fries, or rather three very tasty portions. Double-fried, as they should be. The portions were also very large (I ordered a regular size).

Hair salon gyros...I saw the piping hot gyros coming out of the microwave in the vacuum bag onto the baking sheet. The lettuce was wilted and the fries were from the second time I'd baked them. The most expensive one in Oss...

After a few mediocre experiences with tough fries and disinterested staff over the past few years, which made me prefer any other chip shop in Oss over this one, I decided to go here last Friday for kibbeling (fried fish). You'd naturally prefer to go to a fishmonger, but unfortunately, it was closed. There were no diners, and the staff didn't have much to do. A woman reluctantly came to take my order. I asked if they had kibbeling, and she didn't seem to know. I had to look at the menu on the counter myself. I saw "portion of kibbeling (6 pieces) - €7.50." I thought it was a bit expensive, especially since this isn't a fishmonger, but I ordered two portions. While I was waiting, a man came to pick up his phone order (2 fries without). The staff seemed confused and told him that only orders from Thuisbezorgd were currently in the fryer. The man had to reorder, and he did so with some (justified) irritation. Meanwhile, I received my kibbeling. I wished the staff a pleasant evening, but received no reply. How nice! Just when you think you've seen the worst and can finally start eating your pricey kibbeling at home, it turns out there were only five pieces of kibbeling in one of the containers. And it's not like there was one piece that was bigger than the rest. The kibbeling was quite tasty, by the way, but it could have been seasoned better. The fish certainly earned this review an extra star, but I won't be returning.

Most delicious vegetarian frikandel ever 🤩

I just ordered roast chicken for 4 people. It was supposed to be ready in 10 minutes. I finally picked it up at the agreed-upon time, but it wasn't ready yet. They were defrosting it in the microwave! I told them I'd ordered roast chicken, not microwave chicken. According to the waiters, that shouldn't matter. Once I got home, I was craving some tasty chicken. So, I dug in... We all quickly realized this wasn't good chicken. It was tough, not crispy on the outside... a big disappointment. Next time, I'll go to Poulier. I'd rather spend a bit more money than order another chicken from this cheap place. But I'll be 30 euros lighter... Such a shame.

Excellent stew, and excellent spare ribs. The young man helped me politely last Sunday evening. Luckily, I was able to get a hot meal just before closing time. My eyes were bigger than my stomach; the quantity was perfect.

Neat, clean catering facility and top staff. The staff was very nice (smooth young men) and did not mind at all that we stayed a little longer because we were waiting for our new car to be prepared. Tip + compliment to your Toppers ❣️

Ignore fries. Is old, tough and dry. Not to eat. Called (don't just call) and don't do anything with the complaint. Expensive frient place. If the quality is good then I wouldn't mind. I would get another tent :)

Just waited a few minutes to order and was ignored twice when others were given priority. I walked to Kees Kroket and was helped immediately despite the crowds.

Our order was missing the Belgian mayonnaise and the special was missing the ketchup. Paid for it. Fries were quite tough. Not worth repeating, unfortunately.

Had lunch here today and the food itself was good. It has now become a modern chip shop with good staff.

Disgrace! Stew with 2 pieces of meat. At the bottom of the fries container were brown, greasy double-fried fries. The kipkorn tastes ok, but anyone can bake it and not much can go wrong. I think the waiter guy was 15 years old. Bad bad, never go here again. And this is already the 2 bad experience here.

Update: contacted by the Friethuys and a very good arrangement was agreed! Ordered online at 6:30 PM for delivery at 7:15 PM. Called at 7:45 pm and the delivery person could arrive any moment. 20 minutes later he was there... with the excuse that it was busy... Fries were tough and fried too hard. Frikadel, croquettes and supers were lukewarm. Bouman balls seemed like a bad copy of the real thing. It was that the snack bars in our village were closed, but next time we will just order in our own village!

Good fries, fast service and the prices are also great! Chicken is tasty and the snacks are good too. Recently we only had a schnitzel menu and a pork tenderloin satay menu, which were very dry and not worth repeating.

After ordering, wait more than half an hour on the terrace. We had to ask ourselves where our food was. Another half hour later someone comes to tell us that the order has not been placed, while we have a confirmation on the phone and paid. Then it turns out that the drinks we ordered are sold out and we are then simply served another drink (not a can of soda but a pack of taksi...) then we wait another 20 minutes before we finally get our fries and snacks. Fries only half fried and limp and missing snacks. And when you say something about it you get a big mouth 'what do you want?!' Never again the Friethuys for us.

Worthless. I have to be honest, I can't judge the food and delivery. That wouldn't be right. Well, what happened to me twice (twice) this month: if you order a whole roast chicken via Thuisbezorgd... an hour later you get a call: "We don't have any chicken anymore". The result? I can contact Thuisbezorgd twice and explain that I want my money back. (Refund via Paypal) Remove products from your list if you cannot deliver them. (In other words, keep your Thuisbezorgd page up to date, you bastards!) Very unprofessional help by telephone by a young inexperienced employee.

If friethuys was a frikandel, it was definitely a frikandel special. Always tastes good, delicious crispy fries, promptly delivered and friendly staff!

Waited patiently until 6:39 PM, then called, at that moment the order had just arrived. A small apology but they were going to sort it out. We received our order at 6:46 PM. For an order of almost 70 euros, I can only say that it was delivered poorly. Fries fried too hard, bami block crushed and the grilled chicken cold on the inside. No, definitely not recommended. We will never order from them again.

Extremely pricey chip shop, especially if you have it delivered. The quality is good but certainly not better than elsewhere. All containers were melted...means the staff is not experienced. Not for me anymore....

Located in the heart of Oss and is part of a catering chain. There is nothing wrong with food, service and atmosphere, but of course you always compare with other cafeterias and then I have a slight preference for a third party.

The fries and stew were delicious. Nice and tender.

Overall a good restaurant, but the service is quite slow to be honest. It takes some time for them to even come to the desk to make your order.

Placed an order and had it delivered to my home. Very disappointed. Order was wrong and what was ordered turned out to be so little of everything that you couldn't fill your stomach with it. Pity. My order was also the last. Also very expensive. A lot for 4 people compared to other chip shops.

Disappointed in this case. We regularly ordered our fries/snacks here. But lately the order has been wrong more often than not. The first few times I didn't do anything with it. Nowadays I almost always call them back when my order has arrived, because I'm missing something again. The last time they even had to come back twice because the order was incorrect twice. The quality of the fries is also decreasing. Often hard, overcooked fries. We have enjoyed delicious fries for years, but we are now really done with them.

Got chicken satay. Tasty peanut sauce and large tender pieces of meat. More than worth the money. Definitely something to do again!!

The fries are delicious, but the order was incomplete, the milkshakes were melted and chemically, and the burgers were old and soggy. If you order something other than fries or chicken, you're better off eating at McDonald's.

The satay was tasty but the rest was very disappointing. The milkshake was warm, the lettuce looked unappetizing, we missed drinks and the fries were mediocre at best. I will never order here again.

I thought the fries were expensive and hard and not much, even the children didn't complain for repeatability.

What terrible fries these were. They were really grandma's fries. She had baked these in the 1920s. Cold, much too hard and especially chewy. Sauce was apparently too expensive. You could better say the tastiest hard fries, for an extra large peanut sauce you pay the top price just like the rest for quantity of food. Tasteless fries and snacks, but I will never order anything there again. The appropriate solution also continues to await 🤔

The tastiest fries and snacks in Oss

Neat building, reasonable prices. But that's all. The fries were inedible: far too hard, far too greasy, very unhealthy. What a mockery this case is. Also the 2nd bowl of fries, after saying something about it, was exactly the same!

Helped by very young staff (under 18). There was no adult supervision present. (Was it already late in the evening, is that wise?) Regardless of age, they were unfortunately not experienced either. Fries were not cooked properly. Abundance of sauce (more sauce than fries, personally not our preference). Greasy fingers on the windows and there were bicycles inside the cafeteria in front of the vritine. Special experience.

Fries were disappointing. It looked like it had been baked for the second time.

Ordered fries and some snacks today. Unfortunately they were half an hour late. Something that really irritates me. Do what you promise when ordering. If you say 20 minutes, make sure it doesn't become 50 minutes. The fries tasted good. There were no hard fried small pieces. The porsion was very small. We both had large fries for 1.75 extra. This is definitely not worth the money. These were still small/normal fries, and therefore really not enough. The same goes for the sauce, which was also handled very sparingly. Just add a little extra. 1.20 for this small container doesn't make sense. I also had a pork tenderloin satay. This is definitely recommended. Very tasty 👌

Last week we were able to have it delivered to our home. Centre Sprang Capelle. Unfortunately, this week it is no longer possible according to the site. Very unfortunate. Highly recommended and hopefully we can eat at the friethuys itself again soon. Still a lot more fun. When we wanted to order we had to talk quite loudly because of the "music" that was way too loud and also very annoying "music" FunX. It's not really pleasant to sit with all that noise around you.
