Located on a side street, opposite the Bijenkorf department store. Our plates of fries were good and quite filling.

It was so good!!!!! I'm French and I tried the fried zoervleis and it was amazing!!!!

Excellent fries with fresh toppings. A very generous portion. The staff is friendly and fast. Unfortunately, the restaurant is very small and cramped.

Overall, I thought the fries at Fried Elite were okay. 🍟 We really wanted to try Dutch fries and found this place on Google Maps—so we ate here. The fries tasted okay, but I have to admit they were a bit soggy and dry. I would have preferred them to be a bit crispier and more flavorful. That's why I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5.

We stopped by Friet Eliite in Maastricht, and overall, the experience was pleasant. The service was fast and friendly, and the place was clean. I liked the fries, and the spicy sauce I topped them with was quite tasty and really enhanced the frites. I'd say the frites are just okay, but with the sauces, they make a delightful snack. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are ample. Overall, I liked them; it's worth a stop. 🍟🔥

Worst fries we've ever eaten. They were too greasy and the sauce was awful.

Words can't describe how great this meal was! I ordered the Friet Zuurvlees with a Frikandel Special and got to try my first Kroket on top. The highlight of my European holiday, will fly from Australia to eat it again!

Dangerous disregard for dietary needs – not safe for vegans or anyone with allergies. I asked for vegan options and was served non-vegan food (mayo, cheese, sauces) and later discovered their so-called “vegan” fricandel was actually vegetarian. When I pointed this out, the owner shouted at me, refunded me, and told me never to come back. If I’d had an allergy, this could have been very serious. Avoid if you have any dietary requirements.

We had delicious fries! They were ready really quickly, and the man who helped us was very hospitable and friendly. Unfortunately, we don't live nearby, otherwise we would come more often!

We visited "Friet Elite" for lunch on August 10th. The place lives up to its name; the fries are simply fantastic. The food selection is limited but completely sufficient, and requests are catered for. Since the outside seating was full, we sat inside. Everything was very clean, and the service was fast and good. The restrooms are on the upper floor and accessible via a rather narrow and steep staircase. There's also a small terrace with seating upstairs. Overall, highly recommended! We paid €47 for four people (one dish and one drink each) – it was perfect.

Wir haben dieses Lokal zufällig bei einem Bummel durch Maastricht entdeckt. Es liegt in einer kleinen Nebenstraße Nähe des Bijenkorf Kaufhauses. Es gibt 3 kleine Tische draußen und einige Sitzplätze innen. Klimaanlage vorhanden. Wir hatten 3x Frites mit Pulled Pork und Coleslaw, 1x Frites mit unfassbar leckerer Trüffelmajo und 1x Frikandel Spezial, dazu 4x Fritz Kola Zero und haben glatt 50€ bezahlt. Die Getränkepreise fand ich recht hoch, daher 1 Stern Abzug.

Delicious Dutch fries the original way

The fries were very average, no special flavor. The sweet potatoes were a bit undercooked, not really flavorful. Service was quick, and the street seating was nice.

The Loaded Fries Parmesan & Trüffelmayo was very good. Very nice taste and quickly prepared! Atmosphere inside was quite cozy and also a possibility to sit outside. Very good price for this quality. In short, good food for a good price!

Friet Elite offers a small but adequate selection of fries. We tried the fries with truffle mayo. The truffle flavor was good, but I have to say the fries were very hard and had been sitting for quite some time. While we were waiting to place our order, we could see two baskets full of fries, and our fries were probably served from the same basket 15 minutes later. They might have been fried again briefly, but unfortunately they weren't fresh. Only 3 stars due to the freshness of the fries. However, that could just be due to the weather on the day.

Tried Loaded fries with pulled chicken today. Very surprised by the taste and it was also nice and warm. The service was also good and fast. I would definitely recommend it to others and come back myself.

Small but fine selection of fried dishes (guacamole/pulled pork/sauerbraten/pulled chicken/saté (=peanut butter) sauce...). There are also the standard fries/frikandel special (also veggie). Inexpensive option to eat indoors in the center of Maastricht. Compared to last year, air conditioning/heating is now available, so that it was pleasantly warm inside despite the frosty outside temperatures.

Maybe the best fries I've ever had? Yeah I'm pretty sure they were. We had fries with guacamole and Sriracha sauce and Parmesan and everything worked so well together! Maybe there should be some wooden knives for the "bratrolle special"

The fries with truffle mayonnaise and parmesan were very tasty, but to be honest: an over-salted outdoor pool fries with greasy snack bar mayonnaise is not necessarily worse. Back to the fries here: tasty, but the portion was quite manageable and for my taste the fries didn't have much to do with being crispy. You had to wipe the table clean yourself. But the shame was that you had to wait 25 or 30 minutes until the order finally came. If that hadn't happened, the rating would certainly have been different, at least for “service” and “ambience”.

Very good fried food with a large selection and fair prices. We were there to get a portion of fries (ultimately they were the guacamole fries) and a Frikandel Specialiaal. I can only recommend both. The staff was extremely friendly and told us where we could buy the famous Joppie sauce. Gladly again!

Despite the store being completely full, he remained calm and kept an overview. We will be here again the next time we visit Maastricht.

I've been coming here for years and always look forward to it, but when I paid €7.50 for the GadoGado fries today, the fries almost got stuck in my throat. They once cost 5.90! Wow and it's a shame that it became so expensive. Plus 0.2l cola for €3.20😳 It's a chip shop.
