They had the yummiest frites and mayo I had during my week in The Netherlands. The service was exceptional; our server was kind and patient with my poor Nederlands, and the frites were deliciously 5-star. The atmosphere was fine for us, but it was very basic.

The best fries there are. Unique taste + super staff!

I've been coming here since the very beginning. When they started next to De Ploeg/community center De Pullen. Always good fries. And still those legendary Belgian Fries + Twister. Plus the bamburger. 😋 Never been disappointed.

Ate here during a stopover on our way to the north of the country. We were helped quickly. The older lady behind the counter was nice and polite. Fries and snacks were good and tasty. Portion of fries could have been a bit bigger in our opinion. These are small containers. The place is a bit dated but otherwise looked neat and clean. Sufficient parking spaces in front of the door. Toilets neat and clean.

Never come here. It may have been recommended by their family, but if you come here for a quick pit stop you can forget about the speed. It took 10/15 minutes for them to help us and another 20 minutes for us to get our food. The fries were cold and the place itself looks like it comes from the Second World War. And is designed by calimero.

Experience it yourself. Just walk in. It's always a surprise how badly you are treated there. If you don't immediately get a big sniffle upon entering, order (especially very carefully, because someone may react very irritated) a milkshake or fries. Then you'll know for sure. You will never come back here again! For those people on bicycles who still dare to enter here: bring your toilet roll from home. You'll need that. Courage!

After a cycling tour we wanted to grab a snack here. We walk further with the bicycle in hand, but are suddenly "greeted" by the suspected owner. OR we could not read that we were not allowed on the terrace with our bicycles. When we told him that there was no terrace and that we did not want to leave our bike unattended, he told us that those were the rules. When we told him that we didn't think that was really customer friendly and that that was why we were leaving, he wished us a few more flat tires. Bizarre!

COVID-19 rules have been implemented neatly and clearly here! Fine.

Very unpleasant treatment by very unfriendly staff. We will go to another chip shop from now on. Were literally thrown outside because we had placed a Disney statue on the ground as a precaution so that the statue would not fall to the ground. The gentleman was not pleased with this and asked us to leave the business. Didn't even want to listen to our explanation.

D'n Heuvel is a great snack bar with reasonable prices. The quality of the fries sometimes varies and seems to depend on who is frying (?). This also applies to the healthy sandwiches, which are sometimes more richly filled than other times. Excellent seating.

Slow operation. More employees than customers and it takes ages. Notice that it's gotten worse lately. To make matters worse, this time I also forgot the toys in the Kids box.
